Danny is Loki’s bio kid.

In the end there may have been more to his bluish skin and icy powers than what he initially wrote off as weird half-dead mumbo jumbo.

As it stands.. his alien heritage may have had awakened in his death no longer blocked by multitude of enchantments and bled into his second form.

Meanwhile his alive part is still hidden behind its ‘human’ facade.

You could really excuse him for not jumping to the conclusion that he is an alien straight away after seeing the weird skin tone. He is not the first bluish ghost he seen after all

As it turns out not only ice and snow but mischief also ran in his blood-

Little disparities started to stick out to him after the realisation. Like how he always had more strength than an average kid should (contributing before that to his high ecto contamination thanks to his parents nonexistent lab safety standards) or how he always felt more comfortable in the cold and uncomfortable in the heath.

Dan’s eerie red eyes made much more sense with that as well.

Thanks a lot, old outdated 1990s Marvel Handbook that shouldn't still be used as an accurate source for character origins over the comics themselves. You are a continual source of pain in online circles like Reddit that gives haters an easy way to sully Arkady’s character (since most haters are too lazy to read the actual comics he's featured in and don't check sources) and turns off people who may otherwise be interested in reading stories about him because they check out his online bio and find this:

Now behold Storm Spider's other half, Tempest! Two sides of the same coin, the duality of a gemini, and an equal balance between Spider and Symbiote.

Consider Storm Spider the calm and Tempest the raging storm. Weather its getting on Skye's bad side, or her wanting to let loose and go feral, Tempest will come out to play. Her symbiote was modified to be non-sentient. Tempest has no other consciousness but Skye's. Allowing her to have full control of herself with no major personal, mental, or subconscious drawbacks. The symbiote substance was enhanced with nanites laced into it. If the organism is separated from its host by any means, the nanites hone in on her spider suit's signal and guide it back to re-bond. Tempest bio-electric venom is more frantic and wild, used in battles where it doesn't matter how much damage might be caused. Along with heightened smell and hearing and being physically stronger. Tempest also has tendrils that can extend her shocks. She can also grow electrified spikes from her as either defense or projectile offence to disperse. While Tempest maybe stronger on all accounts, there's one drawback. If she uses Tempest too much her symbiote half gets overworked, the symbiote gets exhausted and retreats back into Storm Spider so it can retain energy. Meaning use Tempest in moderation. The static chargers in Storm Spider's suit can't collect while they're covered in symbiote.

We geminis are twofaced. From calm and collected, to passionate and instinctual. My Spider-sona and Symbiote-sona are one and the same. Tempest actually existed long before Storm Spider in my imagination. I had a dream once I had a symbiote, and with it I became Tempest. The head crests were from the dream and they looked cool, a tail because I like tails and always wanted one, and yes Tempest has the awesome long tongue.

Fun fact: Turns out symbiotes are really cold when they creep up on you. Though given they have no body to conduct heat with, that made sense.

Steve's kids (my OCs)

First is Amelia Carter-Rogers, also known as Amy. She was born in 1955 in Brooklyn, New York. She was mostly raised by her two parents, Peggy Carter and Steve Rogers. In 1950, at five years old, she met her dad for the first time. He traveled back in time to start a life with Peggy. He was surprised to find out he had a daughter waiting for him. Amy has the ability to time travel. Doctors determined it was due to a mutated gene within her. As a child didn't have much control over this power. She would often randomly time travel to different periods of time and have to somehow figure out a way to get home. Eventually her parents enrolled her in the Xavier school for the gifted, where she learned how to be in control of her powers. She even learned she could manipulate time. As an adult Amy works as a shield agent and enjoys keeping the world around her safe. Also once Amy came into adulthood she realized she stopped aging, which doctors determined was due to her mutation.

In 1960, Peggy and Steve had Amy's sister, Sarah Margaret Rogers. She was born in Queens, New York. Unlike her sister she was born with out powers and was raised by both her parents through her entire life. Sarah attended a mainstream school in the city and had a small group of friends. She looked up to her sister and often tagged along with her whereever she went. Sarah had always been a bit of a daddys girl. She adored Steve and clung to him too. Also once Sarah came into adulthood she begun to stop aging due to the serum in her father's DNA. Sarah went on to be a teacher.

Lastly, there is James Joseph Rogers. He often goes by Jay. He was born in 2005. Jay was adopted by Peggy and Steve when Jay was six years old on August 2nd. Before being adopted he lived in a Hydra lab and was a test subject for their experiments. Steve saved him while on a mission to gather information at the lab. When Steve found Jay he was malnutrited and very sick. Steve and Peggy helped him get healthy. Jay is very close with Peggy, she was retired when they took him in. So she was home more often. Where as Steve was working often with shield. He adores Steve as well but he is closer to Peggy. Jay has the super serum in him and therefore has the powers that come with that.

Harry was born and raised in America. With his parents being rather wealthy, he never needed to worry about anything. His father knew from a young age on that he was very intelligent. He attended one private school after the other, making sure to get the best education possible. At the age of 10, his mother left the family and Harry stayed with his father. But only a couple years later, Norman started struggling with his own mind. The once so clever man was diagnosed with alzheimer. Harry was traumatized and wanted to help. He saw how rapidly his father's mind was becoming less, he knew he had to do something. Harry started experiementing in his own little lab inside the mansion. But he knew he had to think bigger if he wanted to find a cure for his father. At the age of 20 he found his own company Oscorp. With his own company and people who worked for him, they started doing different experiements until they would discorver a cure. And he did.

One night, he was alone at the lab, one of his experiements seemed to be right but went wrong. An explosion happened. The gas that was released changed his brain cells. What at first seemed like the right cure for his father, and when he injected the cure into him, he suddenly seemed to be cured. But Norman died and Harry started having having blackouts. He would randomly wake up, not remembering where he had been the previous night or why he was only half dressed.

Green Goblin. An identity he found for himself while the real Harry was absent. As Green Goblin he's roaming around New York City, enjoying mischief and trouble. And along with being a villain in a big city, a superhero would be after him. Spider-Man.

Since new people are joining the Transformers fandom I thought I'd make a couple post's about different characters that can be seen in the background of TF: One. Specifically, I wanted to repost their original toy tech specs and their Marvel Bios. Firstly, Jazz:

His original toy tech spec reads: "Jazz loves Earth culture. Always looking to learn more. His knowledge of Earth makes him the indispensable right-hand man to Optimus Prime. Takes most dangerous missions. Very cool, very stylish, very competent. Equipped with photon rifle, flamethrower, full-spectrum beacon, 180db stereo speakers. Creates dazzling, disorienting sound and light shows. Versatile, clever, daring, but prone to be distracted".

His quote (most Western tf toys came with a quote): "Do it with style or don't bother doing it."

The following information is from Marvel's "Transformers Universe"

Function: Special Operations, Saboteur

Profile: "Jazz would be cruising down Bourbon Street in New Orleans or be double-parked outside a cellar club in Greenwich Village soaking up the local sounds if he weren't in the middle of a war. He's a confirmed Earthen culture junkie-he can talk fluently about ballet or break-dancing (although he prefers the latter), and he's always on the lookout for more stuff to turn on to. Finally, Weaknesses: "Although Jazz's fire-power and strength are weak relatives to that of some of the other Autobots, he more than compensates with his daring and skill. He's prone to be distracted from his primary assignment by Earthen behavior pattern that he finds interesting. this sometimes leads to disastrous consequences".

I follow a couple of different artists on Instagram who're attempting widescale Marvel Universe re-imagining projects, formatted in the way that Marvel used to release those official handbooks fulla character bios. One of them is making a point of trying to distribute the typically-american superhero population more globally, and one of the more inspired decisions made on that front was to re-imagine Hank Pym as Japanese, with a toku-inspired costume that allows him to pull double duty as a Kamen Rider pastiche (as Ant-Man) and an Ultraman Pastiche (as Giant-Man). Great stuff

We are honored to share that the Transformers brand has been inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame, part of The Strong National Museum of Play.

Our beloved transforming robots have participated in the National Toy Hall Of Fame selection several times over the last years, but was usually defeated in the final vote. The moment finally arrived, and Transformers has finally been selected as one of the 2024 inductees, together with My Little Pony and Phase 10. You can check it out in the Museum Of Play website.

We did it! Time to celebrate that our franchise is being finally recognized as a brand which has inspired creative play and enjoyed popularity over the years. Till all are one!

In the early 1980s, Hasbro secured the rights to Japanese toymaker Takara’s Diaclone and Micro Change line of shape-changing robot toys. Hasbro developed the toys for a U.S. audience and in 1984 premiered Transformers with an elaborate backstory about a war between robots developed by Marvel Comics. The characters split into two fractions: the heroic Autobots—peaceful transport vehicles led by Optimus Prime—facing against the villainous Megatron and his Decepticons. Each of the figures issued in 1984 had its own array of talents and capabilities, which appeared on the Tec Spec Chart and Bio Card packaged with each figure.

Sorry if you're not a fan of politics, but the right wing has made my very existence political. Now on with the news post: Longtime Oz fans may know that in the original novel, there was a chapter titled A Highly Magnified History. Halfway through the book, a giant supercilious insect wearing a fancy suit suddenly walks up to our heroes, introduces himself as Mr. H.M Woggle-Bug, T.E. (Highly Magnified Woggle-Bug, Thoroughly Educated), spends an entire chapter explaining his origin story, and invites himself to join the party. He's purely a comic relief character, constantly annoying our heroes with puns. Now, you have to understand that Baum thought this Woggle-Bug stuff was pure gold. This, he thought, is the breakout character of Marvelous Land of Oz. He put out a Woggle-Bug comic strip, a Woggle-Bug board game, an absolutely awful non-canon Woggle-Bug book, and he named the stage adaptation of Marvelous Land of Oz "The Woggle-Bug." Yes, you read that right. Ozma's story was renamed The Woggle-Bug. He's not in my adaptation, but there is a non-magnified wogglebug hidden in every chapter of this comic. Anyway, I named this chapter after the Woggle-Bug's, but it's all about Mombi.

You recently said ur an encyclopedia of lightcannon. So I want to know what light cannon media is there, also just what lux media is there. New to the fandom and I just want all the canon lux stuff to get a solid grasp on what exists. also maybe a reading order/watch order.

Oh gosh. So this is the tricky thing with Lux, she's one of the oldest champions in League of Legends so she has a LOT of lore, but it's all scattered around.

She also has a TON of skins, she's one of the most popular champions for new skins to the point that it's almost a meme, so there are a LOT of Alternate Universe Luxes out there, and one of them (Star Guardian) is what popularized (but didn't actually start) the Lightcannon ship.

You can find a good chunk of her core Runeterra lore on her Universe page. I recommend all of the material written by Graham McNeill, including her bio and the "For Demacia" story. "Last Light" and "Flesh and Stone" are also excellent.

The "LUX" comic produced with Marvel, however, was where her story (and all of Demacia's) kicked up a notch, with the introduction of Sylas of Dregbourne, an imprisoned mage who teaches Lux how to control her power and introduces her to the truth about Demacia's brutal persecution of mages like both of them.

That said, even though Very Important Story Things happen in the Lux comic, there's a general consensus among Lux/lightcannon fans that the comic isn't very well written and mischaracterizes both Lux and Sylas pretty badly.

The Katarina comic retells some of the same events from the POV of infamous Noxian assassin, Katarina DuCoteau, and Lux does briefly appear in it, and her interaction with Katarina is pretty freaking great. So I recommend looking at this one, it's much better than the Lux one overall.

After that, the Riot Forge game studio (which has now been shuttered) produced a spinoff game starring Sylas called The Mageseeker.

This is actually a really rad little game that I recommend to anyone, especially anyone interested in Demacia lore or in any of the characters involved.

Lux is a prominent character, though she only appears pretty late into the story, and it follows up on the fallout from Lux and Sylas's friendship, the mage rebellion, and Sylas's betrayal of Lux in a way that is just really well done and IMO does justice to both characters.

(as well as making even more explicit than the Kat comic did that their relationship was only ever a platonic friendship/mentor relationship, but I digress)

It also leaves Lux in a really, REALLY interesting position in terms of her story and her role in Demacia, that I think has a lot of story meat, and that has factored into a lot of Lightcannon fics especially post Season Two.

It hasn't been officially explored from there, though. The next (and chronologically final) time we see Lux is in the "Warriors" promo video from Season 2020:

...where her truce with Sylas from the Mageseeker game doesn't seem to have lasted too long 😮

It's also probably the most baddass Lux we've seen depicted yet.

Legends of Runeterra, the spinoff card game, also does a couple of good Lux stories, including the recent "Lux Illuminated" where we see Lux dreaming (literally, she's in her dreams) of her idealized Demacia, where she's confident and powerful and adored for her magic instead of shunned.

...only for a creeping shadow to infiltrate her perfect world.

This is also where we get the only 'canon' interactions with Ezreal in the main timeline, maybe, and she's still shooting that poor boy down in flames 💔❤️‍🔥🔥even in her dreams. Ouch.

I'll talk about Lux AUs / skinlines in a different post if you wanna, because that's a whole other kettle of fish, but for Canon Lux, that's your main go to outside of her League/LoR voice lines.
