Gathering of Danish and Swedish Royal Families.
At center you can see King Frederick VIII of Denmark, his sister Queen Alexandra, brother King George I of the Hellenes (with his granddaughter Maria Pavlovna the Younger), and sister Maria Feodorovna. Frederick married Louise of Sweden (behind him), and one of their daughters, Ingeborg, married back into the Swedish family herself. Two of her daughters, Margaretha and Martha, are seen here, but her most famous, Astrid, is not.

Creating Holy People and Places on the Periphery: A Study of the Emergence of Cults of Native Saints in the Ecclesiastical Provinces of Lund and Uppsala from the Eleventh to the Thirteenth Centuries is an absolute goldmine of Scandinavian saints who never made it into the Roman Martyrology. Just a couple of my favorites so far: Anders of Slagelse, whose major claim to fame is that he performed two Masses in one day.... one in Slagelse, and the other in Jerusalem.
Nicolaus of Edsleskog was a parish priest who was murdered while en route to bringing the Eucharist to a sick member of the congregation. He very quickly became associated with miracle-working, and a church dedicated to his honor existed on a popular pilgrim path.
Margarete of Højelse was a laywoman known for her generosity to the poor, which caused her resentful husband to consider her to be stupid and naive. He ultimately killed her and staged it to look like a suicide-by-hanging, but his crime was revealed after locals began receiving answers to prayers made near her grave. Out of all three members of this list, Margarete is the only one who had a bishop formally seek papal recognition for her sainthood.
