I was getting married to this one girl from my class (we’re both girls). It wasn’t even that we were in love, it just was happening. The wedding was in the school and all my classmates were there. I then got called out by the wedding organizer (my teacher) for the fact 3 of my classmates didn’t pay. (Pay what? I don’t have a clue) anyway then the bell rang and I had to go back to class.

half the fun of writing sunday and dan heng interacting in the express is that they're like 70% the same, but in a way that makes them very aware of how similar they are if they're together in one area and there's no narrative tension

they're both protective older brother types, they both adore their family but don't say it very often, they're introverted, they're kind of nerdy, they have hidden power, and if they got trapped in a really silly situation they would hate it immensely.

so like, you can easily imagine march and the trailblazer(s) doing something incomprehensible in march's room (it sounds like they stole the chess board, and now they're holding a wedding between the knights and playfully arguing over which of the bishops should be officiating).

and dan heng's hanging out outside, and he notices sunday also hanging out in the area, and they're both strongly aware of each others' presence, but they're also curious about what the others are doing in march's room, wondering if they need to step in (that argument is getting intense), wondering if the other one is going to step in first, wondering if they'd look weird if they didn't step in first, lowkey wondering if they can join in the fun (can we call it that?), and just generally feeling uncomfortable that the other is standing there until one of them finally opens the damn door

Smeraldo's Garden is a wedding venue...

This seems like an excessively romantic venue for a pop up event...

and considering there will be photo ops and experiential zones, I'm imagining an overwhelming number of romantic photo zones.

Oooh!!! What if Jimin & Jungkook get a leave day to visit the venue?

Maybe we will get photos of them together...

And while we're living the dream, I wonder what sort of wedding theirs would be?

Specifically, what couple dance would they do?

I'm running though all the options in my head and imagining the chaos.....

Literally any of these could be an option. I would not be suprised...

FINAL CHAPTER!!! This has been quite the ride--what was supposed to be a quick little oneshot that turned into 32 thousand words. I've been delighted by the reception this fic has gotten, especially since I was a little nervous about posting it; thank you to everyone who reblogged the tumblr posts of the chapters or left nice comments. Something I haven't seen anyone discussing is the use of hairstyles to tell the story in Greta's "Little Women." The girls are all wearing their hair down in the flashbacks and up in the grown-up scenes. The last time Jo wears her hair down is Meg's wedding, when she's lamenting about childhood being over. The next scene in chronological order is Laurie's proposal, at which point her hair is up and she's being the mature one, refusing him and explaining why. The only times after this that we see Jo with her hair down are when she writes Laurie the letter and when he tells her he's married to Amy. It's like, for a brief moment, after losing Beth and feeling so gutted and lonely, she's reverted to childhood. But marrying Laurie would not help her to mature or be an adult, and her hair, such a tiny detail in the grand scheme of things, is a subtle indicator of this.

I'm back and I've missed you all so fkin much!! I'm fully caffeinated and ready to catch up on what I've missed. 🤸🏻‍♀️💖 Life is still life-ing, but I think I'm in a good enough place to start working on story posts again.
