I really need to stop procrastinating on Thing A Day posts, because the more of them are backed up the harder it is to get myself to sit down and catch up. Over a week's worth of them this time, argh.

Anyway... a lot of gaming and crocheting, as usual. I've almost finished the hoodless hoodie, I'm down to weaving in the ends now. It's heavy and very warm. I am amused that last fall I finished a warmer weather sweater just as the cold was setting in, and now I've finished a cold weather garment just as things are warming up again. Great timing there on when to start these projects, past self.

The gaming was mostly Lord of the Rings Online, mostly spending this week gradually re-buying and re-decorating houses (now that they re-enabled that in stages starting last Monday). Between running around the various characters who were holding onto the inventory of all my houses from before the server move, plus hitting up various vendors and barterers for additional decor items, and all the arranging and re-arranging of things, I've spent many hours since Monday doing nothing but decorating, as if I was playing the Sims. And am not done yet, I've got several rooms (and an entire small hobbit smial) that I've barely started in on yet. There'll be photosets of some of the bits I'm happiest with later.

The weekend before last was spent binging my way through a new expedition in No Man's Sky, the Relics expedition, which was mainly focused on collecting fossils and assembling them into displayable critters. Now that I'm mostly finished with the LotRO housing stuff I'll probably spend at least a little more time in NMS doing post-expedition things such as building a nice base somewhere to decorate with skeleton critters. Maybe an entire museum of a base, given the collectible nature of a number of other in-game items, such as the glitch items from strange worlds, and ruined bits of structure from the new ruined worlds.

And a summary of daily stuff, as much as I can reconstruct it all:

Mar 28 - Baked a load of oatmeal molasses bread. Apparently I started my food diary entry for this day and then blanked on completing it, so I have no idea what I made for supper that night. Though I do remember it was the day I got a lift downtown from the brother (actually leaving the house!) so I could do things like pick up my prescriptions, and top up my phone at the post office. Box of yarn arrived in the mail, so I was able to resume work on the hoodie, and have even more of a yarn stash for future projects.

Mar 29 - Just me for supper, I had leftover corned beef hash. This was the day spent playing in NMS.

Mar 30 - Made a pizza for supper. Didn't make a bunch to freeze this time, just a singular pizza, with extra cheese, sauce, and pepperoni going into the freezer for future use. Spent a bunch of time in LotRO deciding what houses I wanted to buy, when it wasn't just "the same address I had back on Arkenstone".

Mar 31 - Ran a couple loads of laundry. Bought a Belfalas house in LotRO and spent the evening decorating it. Supper was chili with rice and a salad.

Apr 1 - Partially cleaned the bathroom. Fried some mild Italian sausages, served then with fried onion & roasted garlic mashed potatoes, as well as a steamed mix of squash, corn, and green beans. Bought an Eastfold house in LotRO and spent the evening decorating it.

Apr 2 - Baked some fish fillets and oven fries, made a salad. Bought a Lyndelby house in LotRO - which I didn't have yet but was already thinking of doing pre-server-move - and, yes, spent the evening decorating it. Take the decoating as my usual gaming activity for the next few days as well.

Apr 3 - Made pork fried rice with cashews and pineapple. Yummy! Bought a deluxe and small Bree-land house on Peregrin for my characters on main and 2nd account to use, and a Falathlorn kinhouse on Glamdring for one of the alt kinships.

Apr 4 - Soup from the freezer, with rice donuts for dessert that I specifically made extra rice yesterday to make today. Bought a deluxe and small smial on Glamdring for main and 2nd account to use (happily both in the same neighbourhood I used to be in on Arkenstone - the only case where I was attached to the original neighbourhood as well as the street address). Also a kinhouse in the Thorin's Gate housing area for my other alt kinship, again the same address and neighbourhood (nice, but I would have been only mildly disappointed if I'd needed to purchase in a different neighbourhood to get the street address I wanted there).

Apr 5 - Made a small pot roast, and since we didn't have enough potatoes left to boil or mash, served it with pierogies instead. Also fried mushrooms and steamed squash-corn-green beans. Finished off most of whatever decorating in LotRO I still had items for, and got my main character back to questing (she is so far behind the current end game content - at least 2-3 expansions back if I haven't lot count).

Apr 6 - Ran a load of laundry. Turned the leftover pot roast and some other leftovers into a small pot of beef barley soup, just enough to throw a container of it into the freezer and have the remainder for lunch. For supper I prepared meatball subs and a salad.

...and that's me caught up. For now. Until later today.

These are mostly accurate, though I'd probably make some small tweaks to the expositional dialogue from PU and SGIS is a big question mark since I'm not 100% sure what to do with her right now. Ah, the mysteries of my own OCs...

Mar 30 - For only being a couple of days ago, I remember remarkably little about this day. Extreme brain fog day. For supper I sliced and sauteed some mild Italian sausage, and then cooked it with a little broth and a package of frozen precooked pasta and veg.

Mar 31 - Lazed in bed and read most of the day, because why not. For supper I did a pork loin roast with gravy, mashed potatoes, and steamed mixed veg.

Apr 1 - Baked a loaf of Sally Lunn bread. Made beef stew for supper. Did a lot of booping, and swearing at failure-to-boop error messages.
