I was editing the Grogu baby crimes shaker charm to get a second samples order on order, but I had some stuff from Shotdeck, an excellent resource for your composition and color key needs, open on the side as references for the 3quelfic illustrations, and saw one out of the corner of my eye that had a particular composition/color key. That was all I needed for the brain to flip a switch and demand I break out the quick/rough sketch brushes.

I have the worst impulse control.

I'd thought I was going to miss the deadline for the @bobadinweek's AU bingo with this one since it got away from me a little, but with the extension I'm more than on time! Well now Ahsoka refusing to train Grogu makes a hell of a lot more sense.

1) Ahsoka's formative Jedi training was during a war. Ahsoka completely understands that she learned a non-standard Jedi existence and she's constantly worried that all she can pass along is how to be a soldier. I see how she would balk at teaching someone who she sensed a lot of fear in her style of Jedi-ing. When she met Grogu she was in an "all I am is a soldier" mindset and she doesn't want to subject this child to it.

2) The person who did the bulk of Ahsoka's formative training became a complete nightmare (understatement) and his attachments were a huge part of that. How can she even trust the things she learned if the one who taught her fell? Ahsoka sees Grogu with his deep attachment to Din and all she sees is failure.
