ash, you have always provided my little fanbase for my series so much food for thought, this is absolutely beautiful in every way. i literally don't care if they're wips or unfinished because either way you always make do with what i write, descriptive or not. i love your artstyle and how soft you draw the mc and how handsome conner is (i literally showed your art off to all my friends). you're so talented and i wish to reciprocate all the efforts you've done for this series 😭

i'm serious. from your portrayal of the mc, to them flying with conner, you never once disappoint anyone.

because of this, i'd like to leak some parts of my story from chapter five and beyond 💕! thank you so much for this, and i hope my yapping below suffices.

major spoilers below the cut!

the graduation photo! i have something planned with that, and i'd delve so much deeper (soon) with just how much a single photo can influence bruce's line of thought once he discovers that picture frame. love how happy mc is in the photo because, for me, it symbolizes them growing up (quite literally) and acknowledging a new path in life, alongside only finding alfred as their only father figure compared to bruce.

you consider yourself reserved, and prefer your life living within the confines of privacy and protection from media exposure. your mother always told you: better safe than sorry once; right after you've asked her about why you can't seem to find personal information about your father when she helped you search him up occasionally.

all the questions you ask her about the lack of your father's preferences — because you merely wanted to know more about him beyond the stories she told you! — she rebutted with a soft smile, a kiss on your head, and an explanation.

she'd warn you about the dangers of media exposure, about how your father and her prefer to keep their relationship a secret, and how too much cameras and paparazzi flashes can blind you.

she said that someone's perception of another person could be ruined once their deepest secrets are revealed. that's why your papa isn't seen beyond the doors of the manor he resides in; because people are attracted to mystery and allure.

hence why she'd restricted you from the usage of any devices within your household during your childhood, other than the excuse of having no money to afford it.

and you always abide by that principle of secrecy; especially right after alfred had saved you from... whatever happened years ago in elementary. from when that man... no, those men knew about your identity...

so, safe to say you were an introvert, at least when it comes to social media. the concept of the fear of missing out never once rattled your brain, no matter how anxious you are whenever you're with your friends; scared that you wouldn't fit in. but they never cared and accepted you with open arms, so it doesn't really matter, no?

you're safe now that you're at metropolis.

and like she always said, better safe than sorry! keep it within you and never out!

so why?

why is it just right after you've opened your twitter app— why is it that your face is plastered all across news accounts?

anyways, the second and third images are so romantic!!! and cute, and cured my depression i swear. i showed this to my one friend and she told me that conner's hand size compared to mc's is straight up hot, and i agree! i love the hand placement, and the way conner holds the mc so softly! yes, i too, would love to touch his man-tits beyond his impeccably tight shirt and play with his hands!

and the cute little panel with him squishing their face and desire their confirmation that, they do, in fact, think they're hot. he's a very insecure man after all, and his self-worth would revolve around your perception of him. he doesn't see you as god, but he doesnt see you as his everything. every opinion matters from you, and that's what makes the green flag part about him.

fun fact about him in the series! he loves to moisturize his hands with lots of skin care products because he read from an article once that some people prefer the feel of soft or moisturized hands. he definitely did not wait for the moment for you to touch him for the first time in forever since he first saw you! yeah, he's a bit more freaky than i let him out to be. the more you're exposed to him, the more you'll learn just how obsessed he is.

as for all the people asking if i'd write more about him: the answer is yes! he's a vital character, so don't worry because he'll appear in many scenes either way. for those concerned about why he didn't save the mc— well, chapter five will explain soon 🩷

and this art perfectly portrays it! it's seen from an outside perspective and they look very pretty, yet from what they see with their eyes is a different thing. the longer you stare at yourself, the more your image is distorted. i intentionally added the flower analogy because flowers are portrayed as pretty, no matter the size and shape. even as they wilt or sag, they still retain some color and a semblance of what was once a history of their prime.

then lastly! the mirror scene. it all returns to chapter three, chapter four was a sequel of their breakdown containing mirrors. reflections and the perception of one self is an important aspect of my series because it reminds me of myself, so them nit-picking each and every insecurity whilst staring at the mirror; that's a scene i wrote based off of a real life experience of mine. having both attractive parents, or those acknowledged as conventionally pretty, whilst being in an environment filled with as equally smart or attractive people, comparing yourself to them all the time, is a struggle.

the only way to make flowers 'ugly' is by destroying them, by stepping on them, ripping them apart, never once caring for them. i think that's very crucial because people do see anything destroyed or stripped away from its foundation a mess, or so. but there's always beauty in everything and i abide by that thought!

again, thank you so much ash for drawing this and bringing my story to life! you, alongside many other users who send in their fanarts, are always such an inspiration for me to write! you guys are the backbone of my series and i stand by my sentence!!! may you get plenty of commissions and plenty of money to support you <333

also, the FLOWER BOTTLE AND THE CAT PAW REFERENCE! i love how everyone accepts that we have a canon cat now based solely off of this. i think that's precious, and having a feline pet is a great little choice for my own plot (just to lessen the pain of the angst).

there is a story! well, more like the skeleton of a story 😭😭 iza and i have been conjuring up an entire plot for these lacka-ocs ever since they were conceived. we're not entirely sure if we should write fanfiction for them or just stick to making art, but we intend to get as much as we can out! (worms... worms in the brain!!)

for the sake of our sanity; the plot of 'guns n' roses' is as follows:

bob is part of a family that is deeply associated with the gangster life. he, along with his two brothers, manuel and eduardo (alias; las tres balas), work for the marigold gang. needless to say, they get their hands dirty on the daily. on one particular evening, bob meets maria at a dinner party that he's not even supposed to be at and instantly becomes infatuated with her. maria, feeling strangled by her own responsibilities as a fiance-to-be and the ridiculously high expectations placed on her, opts to develop a relationship with him despite her not necessarily having feelings for him at first. she's not aware that bob is living a double life, and bob wishes to keep it that way, thinking that he can be able to balance both pretty well.

lmao, he can't.

he's directly disobeyed eduardo's rule on not getting seriously involved with someone else, and things only get worse by the day. there comes a time where bob ends up screwing things over for him and his family, albeit unintentionally. an entire domino effect of events has him fearing for his and his loved ones' lives, and he begins to heavily reconsider his actions and being up to that point.

things get loud in st. louis. bob is a wanted man, and people think he's conspiring against the law. eduardo isn't acting rationally anymore--not like how he used to. manuel? well... let's gloss over that one for now. his relationship with maria? dreadfully jeopardized.

this doesn't even begin to cover all that happens in guns n' roses; there's still so many characters whom we've omitted to mention that are rather integral to it all, but we reckon this is a good place to start. a lot of self discovery, topics of autonomy and introspection, a dash of broken brotherhood, romance, with just a hint of generational trauma in this one✌️

OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!! 😭🥺💖 There are absolutely no words to express how utterly amazing this art is and no words to tell you how grateful we are for it! Honestly we're both in tears right now in the best way! Sprinkles literally screamed and jumped up & down, and I am at loss for words for probably the first time ever and can only think of feral keyboard smashes ASHDHSDHSADHASHFHSFHFHSDFHSHFASHFHAHDHSD!!!!

It means so much to us that you love our little story and our ocs so much that you wanted to draw them! 🥺 You're such an incredibly talented artist, and you've perfectly captured the personalities of everyone in this group! Kyle's lopsided smile and his arm around Hero. Lorraine's playful peace sign, and Tamra's gentle hand on her shoulder. Brandi crossing her arms. C.J. easy-going and his hands in the pocket of his hoodie. Zoey holding onto Hero's arm, and the man himself, our dear Hero, looking so emotionally moved and so happy to be with his friends. It's all just so, so perfect and wonderful!!

We absolutely adore the outfits that you've chosen for them too (Direct quote from Sprinkles: "They would all totally wear those clothes!!!" And then we proceeded with the excited screaming & crying again). The attention to detail here is just mind blowing (honestly going to start bawling over the lacy sleeves on Lorraine's blouse, Kyle's jacket, C.J.'s hoodie, and Tamra's music note hair pin and earrings along with so many other things!! The way you've drawn Zoey's freckles is adorable and also deserves to be mentioned!!)

The longer we stare at this absolutely gorgeous piece, we just keep finding more and more things to love about it, and the fact that you've paired it with such a beautiful line from "Good Morning" means everything. 🥺 It really sums up what "When Sun Shines Again" is really all about: Hero finding healing, opening himself up to new friendships and new horizons, gathering the strength to carry on, and learning to be happy again even in a world without Mari. His life will never be the same as it was before he lost her, but that doesn't mean that it can't still be a meaningful and happy one. Hero deserves that. He deserves to be happy. 💙

And this "When Sun Shines Again" project is but our small contribution to the "Hero deserves to be happy" genre. It means the world to us to know that other people connect with this story, with our portrayal of Hero and the other OMORI characters, and with our original characters as well (which is especially flattering! Thank you so, so much!). "Levi." You pushed your husband aside, wanting to get out of bed to prepare for work. The morning rays gently shone through the windows, illuminating your bedroom. Gentle snores came from the man beside you. Instead of getting up, Levi snuggled even closer to your side.

"Mmm. Warm..." Levi muttered, burying his head into the crook of your shoulder. You poked Levi's cheek, trying to get him to wake up.

"Levi, get up. Levi—"

"Five more... minutes..." Levi muttered, showing no signs of wanting to get out of bed. "Five... more..."

"Levi, dear, you said 'five more minutes' 45 minutes ago," you chuckled, turning around to face your sleepy husband. Levi's bed hair was unkempt and he had a little bit of dried drool on the corner of his lips. You giggled when you saw him slightly opening an eye to peep at you before closing them again, pretending to be asleep.

"C'mon, dear. I know you're awake already." You poked Levi's cheek, checking the clock by the bed side table. It was almost eight, and the both of you needed to reach the teashop by 8:45 am. "Get up, Levi. We're going to be late, and the traffic will be horrible. You have an appointment at 9:15 am too, in case you forgot. "

Instead of waking up, Levi inched forward and kissed you softly with his eyes still closed. Smiling into the kiss, Levi muttered against your lips.

"We're already late for work, might as well be later," Levi showered your cheeks with kisses before turning to his side once more, snuggling into the crook between your neck and shoulder. You shook your head, wondering why was Levi being so lazy and needy today. He wasn't usually like this.

"Get up now, Levi, we really can't afford to be late," You turned towards Levi again, surprised to see him looking at you. Levi gently stroked your cheek before inching forward to kiss your lips again. Sighing into the kiss, you relented and kissed Levi back, your legs entangling under the warm blanket. Soft pecks gradually became heavy kisses, and soon both of you were locked by the lips, the sound of wet kisses echoing around the room.

"Mmm, Levi—" you moaned into the kiss, feeling Levi's hand sneakily slipping underneath your shirt to draw tiny circles on your skin. "Levi, wait—no, we have to get up, Levi—" you tried pushing Levi away, but the man was adamant about getting what he wanted. Hovering above you, Levi trapped your body under his and pinned your hands above your head.

"Let's not forget that I own the teashop, so I can reach at whatever time I want." Levi smiled at you before kissing your lips again and again, letting go of your hands to let you lace them around his neck. "And you are also allowed to reach at any time you want since you are married to me." You scoffed hearing Levi's words, hiding your laughter.

"And what kind of example are you setting to your employees then, if they see us coming in to work late, especially since you own the place?"

"Shows that I rather spend my time with you than to go work," Levi shrugged and kissed your cheek, lying on top of you and pretending to fall asleep again. "You know what? Let's not go to work today." Hearing Levi, you stroked his soft ebony hair and let out a hearty laugh, pushing Levi off you.

"No, Levi, we got to go to work. No more kissing, or you'll never leave the bed."

Thirsty Thursday: A 100 Different Kisses

God I really spend my time writing my thoughts on Utonium huh??? Its all over the place tbh because I slept for 4 hours today but shhh listen I need everyone to see how feral I am for this man oh my god-

I initially just want to talk about how he looks in each iteration that I know and watched (and for that reason i skipped the dance pantsed one) but i went overboard and talks a bit about his personality too smh

Its undercut because oof its long

Season 1-4 Prof

- He's more mature in the early seasons than later. Imo he acts more fatherly in here too. He gives good pep talks and I think he is more thoughtful and loving towards his kids as oppose to other seasons. If I ever mention I'm rewatching the show, just know that its always the season 1-4 range because a lot of my fav episodes of him are from that.

- Also do you know how much I love his squinty eyes? When his eyes shapes like a D? He looks so cute like that oh my god 😭😭😭💕

- Especially when his eyes squints into a crescent when he smiles? Ugh so precious I want to give him a kiss on the cheek and nose 🥺🥺🥺

- If you ever notice, I mostly draw him with squinty eyes for this reason. Idk I just find him to look adorable and he looks very lovable here.

I rate him 10/10. Everything about him is so perfect. This is totally the man I fell for ;w;

Season 5-6 Prof

- Noticeably dumber. His kids babysits him a lot in this one. He still loves his kids though and a few times I see him asserting his fatherhood here but he doesn't do his pep talk as often and if he does it's not as good as in the earlier seasons.

- Even though he's pretty childish and quirky in this one, I honestly still find him very lovable because I like to think that he's just starting to get the hang of being a dad and loosen up a bit. He's not entirely perfect but he is still the dumb dork I love.

- aww he lost weight :( gives me an impression that he doesnt eat enough or he's too busy to take care of himself :( I am going to fix this man (a snack)

- I personally calls this design pillbox prof because his face is longer and skinnier than early seasons

- Also lowkey a bit upset that they drop his squinty eyes. His eyes is fully circle now. The only time his eyes is squinty when he's mad or upset.

- Also in this one when he smiles, his eyes were half lidded but it's still fully circle

- However shhhh this Prof takes the cake for the majority source of my brainrot. I can't and will not shut tf up about Prof with his sleeve rolled up, Prof with his 5 o'clock shadow on and Prof with his dumb "No Pain No Pain" tshirt.

- He also looks taller here. Maybe its because of how skinny he is but also his proportion is more uniform here as oppose to early seasons where sometimes he looks quite short because the proportion is off.

I rate him 7/10. Half of it because he has his sleeves rolled up.

Reboot Prof

- Aww fuck where the fuck do I begin?

- Who is this man? I do not know him, I am not engaged to this idiot. He died in a freak lab accident ?? years ago. This man is an impostor, lock him up

- You know how I mentioned that later season Prof in the OG series is dumb but still a loveable dork? Reboot Prof should go to jail. I hate how fucking dumb he is holy fuck and he doesnt even look attractive being dumb. Stop it. Get help.

- I only watch 3 episodes of the reboot and a handful of clips and I already know how dumb this man is. Where is his phD?? Did he use his cert to roll up burritos??? Dumbass

- I truly believe the writer really thinks his dumb. He is not dumb, he is quirky. You can't tell me he doesnt know what the fuck soccer is and doesn't know how to pronounce soccer AND wave? Wa vey?????Fakoffffff 😭😭😭😭

- I also don't like how he babied his kids so fuckin much to the point they all took advantage of him? The dynamics in the OG show was that he created his girls because he wanted to become a father and he taught his kids whats good and bad and be firm, stern yet loving to them? I feel that reboot Prof fears them. He doesnt want them to grow up resenting him and realize they actually have power against him and it just rubbed me the wrong way.

- Okay shh this is controversial, I actually don't mind him being curvy at all. Sure the overall style of reboot is so unappealing to me but he would look out of place if he has edges if i were to be honest. As much as I love OG design Prof, he would stick out like a sore thumb have they make him sharp and edgy.

- They make him have squinty eyes again RUHROHH?????? Byeee im just gonna ignore how fuckin dumb he is and like tell him to stfu while I just stare at him and kiss him the whole day

- Also I actually love his streaks of gray hair? He actually ages and I go feral for it holy fuc-

- I hate to admit this but when I sleep at night, I stare at reboot Prof. This is so scandalous. I will not disclose which picture it is. Good night

God this is so hard to rate uhhh his personality is 0, but his looks is a 6 to me. Im down bad.
