testing out drawing maormer 🪸🐚🪸 and a nelvas 🧣📜🩷 i'll ramble about maormer a bit in the tags
#tes#skyrim#my art#do you like my nelvas emojis🧣📜🧣📜 get it? scarf🤗 and scroll🤗 Everything hurts sofucking bad#anyways i talked about them wif my friend quite a bit i basically 'agree' w/ everything that is written about them && their biology in -#- canon; except tes is very much all Talk and no good actual visual presentation of what it's talking about#cus all of the maormer look like garboooo likeee what am i looking @#but since this is just a first test i think i'll keep playing around with their looks later; they are most close to altmer obvi in the -#- sense of how 'mutated' they r. however maormer are more gross looking for the typical human#they do have flat faces and alldat in canon already but i want them to just have nostrils and no real nose bridge#and they have no lips😝 they also have very visible gums. && have anglerfish teeth#what would be fur on other mer is just scales on them and is placed is scattered in the same places#i was thinking of making swimming most comfortable for them so i gave them more fins#they'd have them on arms and legs and the hair on the tail for them is just a big fin🐠#as for hair i'm thinking of them having none of it at all bcos it looks sooooo ugly on them it's very unnerving to see hair on fish#either no hair at all or something with a different texture. like slimy silky thin seaweed#or the hair that m*necraft striders have LMAO#webbed fingers is cuuuute they'd have webbed armpits like they're those flying rodents🐿 lol#i'd place their gills on both the neck and their ribs#whenever they wear clothes they tie their arm and leg fins up ; i think from birth they just stay in water until they hit puberty and -#- r able to actually walk around#another cute fact is that males and females wud look literally the same almost (women are flat chested too)#fish fish fish#maybe i'll rethink some stuff. i still wanna draw fish babies#but in reality i think even the mere existence of maormer is very pointless bc they don't really matter at all do they#tes lore is soooo overstuffed that's why i don't know anything about it my time is so valuable to meLMFAOAOOO#saw a typo in this sorry i'm just chill like that

Transandrophobia truthers are so damn racist and white oh my fucking god y'all actually piss me the fuck off every time you tokenize Black and brown men for your stupid as fuck "mra but make it trans-inclusive" ideology created by a creepy guy with a corrective rape fetish(something I'll never let up on for as long as I live, btw). If I ever see another one of y'all say "Black and brown men face discrimination because they're seen as overly masculine and that's why masculinity in men is oppressed in this society" I will literally kill myself. Stop using Black and brown men as brownie points for your bullshit arguments about misandry being real when you don't have the slightest idea how racialized oppression works. White boys are so annoying and dumb istfg.
@punkeropercyjackson @punknicodiangelo @pinkpinkstarlet
#like none of the dumbasses i've seen say this shit have been poc and HEY IT'S ALMOST LIKE THERE'S A REASON FOR THAT#because actual black and brown men know that their oppression is not based around masculinity but around RACISM#because if it was about masculinity then feminine men of color wouldn't face the same oppression and would be privileged over them which#is not true#it's also worth mentioning that black and brown WOMEN also face these same issues of being seen as more aggressive/strong/violent and thus#more dangerous even more so than our male counterparts so it's not an 'anti-masculinity' issue it's a fucking racism issue#plus once again feminine women of color also face these stereotypes#when we are masculinized even while presenting as feminine that isn't anti-masculinity you dumb fucks that's just racialized misogyny#and misogynoir#it is incredibly telling that white transmascs who use this argument never even mention women of color and that's because if they did then#their entire headass argument would fall apart because it's not about MASCULINITY being oppressed it's about RACISM(which newsflash women#experience too) and masculinity being assumed of black and brown people(women included) is just another facet of the white supremacist#gender binary not any form of masculinity being 'oppressed' in this society lol#don't even get me started on how these men misuse butch lesbians in their arguments as well and act like they are man-lite ugh#sorry but as a black woman i am officially pissed off rbn#like y'all love to spout 'intersectionality' and shit maybe *throws book at them* ACTUALLY READ UP AND LEARN WHAT THE FUCK IT MEANS#stop misusing words created by black women to prove that men are an oppressed group on god you mfers are annoying#anyway the lesson learned here is that white trans men are just as insipid and racist as their cis counterparts#pos the lot of you#racism#transandrophobia is not real#op

I’ve seen so many people saying that “of course the straight couple get the happy ending” (meaning ineffable bureaucracy), am I missing something? I thought Beelzebub was nonbinary ? Did I make this up in my head, or have people just forgotten because of the actor swap?
#they’re not straight in my eyes?#i know angels and demons don’t have genders in the same way as humans#but obviously some present as male/female/nonbinary#and I thought beelzebub was considered nonbinary or genderless#maybe this bugs me because I’m femme presenting but nonbinary and people assume that if I date a man it’s a straight relationship#which is just not true lol#anyways!!#someone let me know if I’m wrong because I’m confused now#em rambles#good omens#good omens spoilers#good omens beelzebub#ineffable bureaucracy#good omens michael

when the lip differs from the lip
#aizo’s really too good for this series (sometimes). very male lead of him i have to say#he forgives his mother for being like *that* to him and still loves her despite everything#he shows kindness to people who openly hate him (mona; granted it was only to make up for his bf’s earlier misdeeds)#a n d he tolerates yujiro’s nonsense (bc he loooooves him) despite their frequent arguments and disagreements all#meanwhile yujiro openly hates on people who go after his bf (kanami 2k20: never forget… and chizuutan to a degree too ig)#man i miss honeypre event stories (says this all the time). i miss seeing aizo pine on main (while being dense about his own feelings)#and yujiro being salty on main (while somehow being even denserrrrrrrr about his own feelings for aizo)#those event stories truly were some of the best shipping fuel for ss lxl#(also ngl but. i liked how hiyoko was still present in their stories as the supportive friend role to them…)#(unlike a certain [redacted] anime which turned her into a horrible self-insert who shoehorns herself into situations unrelated to her)#(*cough* aizo’s so-called ‘fake trauma’ *cough* ‘how could yujiro’s family hate him when his mom makes him such a nice lunch????’ *cough*)#(wished we could’ve seen more of the jk trio in the event stories though [sadge]. bring back honeypre p l s)#um anyway!!!!!! see y’all when the next lxl mv drops ig???? maybe later in the week???? sometime between wed-fri???? idk?????

I get that they were probably trying to go for some kind of girl power thing, but "It's a shame you're not a woman anymore" just makes me feel like I'm watching the Doctor experience a microaggression. He does not control the speed at which the gender changes?? Leave them alone.
#really does not help that the subsequent reasoning is vaguely gender essentialist#dw spoilers#doctor who#you know bc all women have a mysterious intuition or superior emotional intelligence that All Men Would Never Understand or some such shit#'you'd never understand bc you're male presenting at the moment' <- cannot even begin to unpack the problems with that#like if you're REALLY trying to Get Nonbinary With It maybe you could have thought about The Implications for a moment or two longer?#should have thought about The Rammys bro

thanks to the horror!au Jindosh is no longer a rat or a cat or whatever to me

[insert Spider Dance from Undertale] (it doesn't help!!!!)
#dagyne_scribbles#dagyne_rambles#nightmares from the void#i want to give him a little spider friend or idk!!!!#a mantis maybe?#smol but so deadly#'mantis are fascinating did you know the female ones eat the male ones' heads? :)'#'kirin please it's 2 in the morning i just want to sleep'#there's like just one line in non lethal where he talks about bugs but hear me out#giving insects to his spider friend and looking at it eating like :)#he does have butterflies in his mansion (taxidermy) and did he do that or are they a gift?#there're not much but devs could have just not put them at all at this point if he didn't care#and kirin doesn't need to have a spider friend in present time but thinking hard about it or in his early life#imagine taking it to the academy and everyone is freaked out and 'omg let me kill it' like some little haters

“I wasn’t assigned female at birth; I was female at birth! A doctor didn’t look at me and decide I was female enough at birth, I’ve been female since the moment of conception.”
*loud buzzer sound*
Given how common the intersex condition is (~2% of the population - how many redheads have you seen?) and the fact that genitalia is not the only physical manifestation of an intersex condition, yes the doctor very much did look at you and decide you looked ‘female enough.’ Indeed your genetic makeup is determined at conception, and your genetic makeup could very well result in the development of an intersex body that may not be externally evident at birth.
Don’t get me wrong, there are issues with the afab/amab dichotomy both colloquially and medically speaking (some people are marked intersex at birth, the dichotomy just reinforces the gender binary with different language, etc.) but it is true that medical assumptions are made at birth based on your external physiology, regardless of genetic or hormonal profile. ‘Biological sex’ is far from binary and pretending otherwise is ignorant at best and dangerously intersexist at worst.
#ra speaks#personal#found a t*rf on my dash. le sigh. still reaping the discontent of being young and stupid at 15.#some people don’t know they’re intersex until puberty. some people have the fact that they’re intersex hidden from them#either by their parents or hidden from them AND their parents by DOCTORS PRESENT AT BIRTH who perform nonconsensual cosmetic surgeries#without parental knowledge!!!! like the insistence that sex is binary and inherently obvious from birth is just wrong.#‘how dare the trannies mutilate children’ beloved doctors are butchering intersex infants to fit your narrow definitions of human sex.#maybe I’m just used to working with plants and bugs but like. no. lmao.#male and female are just two poorly defined spoonfuls in a soup of physical hormonal and medical markers of ‘gender’#which is further complicated and compounded by cultural and societal norms#I know it’s hard but maybe try learning about things beyond your middle school sex ed class??? you’re an adult. learn. grown. be better.

I don't really consider this a spoiler/might not even take this route anyway, but. Sharena Engage active wear color palette. Choose.
Also factoring in my notes from when I flipped through all the chara's outfits to find The Pattern
Okay NOW you can Choose
Another thing you can consider is having the shoes be all one color/Not having the second color stripe accent. I noticed some characters wouldn't have that as part of their palettes! Seemed arbitrary which ones would and which ones wouldn't!
#i feel like i'm maybe leaning towards the first? idk though#i feel like esp w the bridal alt design like. that dark blue is also a prominent color for her#beyond the uniforms/it being present in all the askr royal designs. thinking off that other official art#an anniversary one where she's wearing a dark blue dress/w the golden askr motif accents#like it's actually p reoccurring! it's neat#also i just did not realize how fucking exhausted i still am. i am feeling the time crunch.#but i don't think i'm getting shit done today tbh. i feel burnt out.#sharena#my art#ohhh another thing i just thought of. if i were to make one for alfonse. i think i'd want them to match and branch off#like they'd both have primary dark blue and then secondary sig color. which tbh a sky blue would be Such a choice#for alfonse. you could probably choose red too but. i bet the dark blue/light blue would be so easy on the eyes#but. the male active wear designs are ugly as sin LMFAOOOO which is why i'm not even gonna bother 🧍#i feel like the one and only chara who makes the male active wear work is alfred. he was made for this. built in a lab for it. his destiny.

I keep finding it so uncomfortable when people differentiate between women and men in my surroundings, and assume that some people are men and some are women. It's uncomfortable both because what if someone doesn't identify with whatever gender they may look like, and because why is it an important distinction in the first place?
Granted, there may be circumstances where it's relevant, but for context let me list some examples of what I mean. These are examples that I've experienced in the recent weeks:
When playing a game that requires two teams, someone suggested that the women should play against the men, and then when this ended up being the case, regular jokes were being made related to gender whenever someone made a bad play
At lunch, someone said "looks like we're all women here today"
Whenever someone who presents as a man has done something stupid or whatever (whether a celebrity or just a regular person), it's common for people to tie that stupidity to the fact that the person is "a man". This seems like a tactic that's sometimes used in order to gain social benefit with women. For example, ending a story about something stupid someone did by going, "ugh, men"
It's also common to hear people mention someone's gender in a story they're telling as though the gender is relevant to the story, when usually it really isn't relevant at all. For example, "... and then she did X and Y, which isn't strange at all because she's a woman, and then he said Z ..."
I know these are innocent things people do and say, and they likely aren't even aware that it can be uncomfortable for some people. Maybe for people who strongly identify as either gender it can even be affirming to have people say these things. I just wish I knew a good way to say that it's making me uncomfortable without having it become a big thing or making them think I'm overreacting
#part of it is definitely because I'm starting to think that the distinction is useless in most contexts#But I'm also wondering what this says about my own gender identity#I still haven't figured out whether I do identify as some variant of nb or not#It might honestly just be that I'm uncomfortable about being lumped into a group based on a factor I deem irrelevant#But idk? I wish it was easy to figure out my own identity. Sigh#Maybe I just want to be part of a group without having to be arbitrarily lumped in with others based on how I look#I'm reading a book rn btw which takes place in a future where gender identity is never assumed#Whenever a new person is introduced the they/them pronouns are used until that person's specific gender identity is presented#The author describes people based on aspects of their appearance but the gender identity doesn't always correlate with appearance#So appearances that today are commonly viewed as 'male' or 'female' do not always correlate with people's actual gender identity#And it's deemed disrespectful to assume gender identity when it's not been confirmed yet#I haven't read very far yet but there's been one scene where a person did assume someone's gender identity#And it was presented in the book as 'wow this person is an asshole who assumes gender identity in order to insult me'#I think it's so refreshing to read#The book is called The Spare Man. Written by Mary Robinette Kowal#Anyway gender norms are annoying 😔#nagnerd#Genndar

sometimes I wonder why all famous internet women are attractive, if it's because they are just more confident in sitting in front of a camera or the inherent societal nature of people (women included) is to watch attractive women and their attractiveness is part of what makes them gain popularity even in genres that do not focus on beauty and fashion.
or if it's just cause I'm hella fucking gay
#litchi.txt#theres a whole essay that could be written on the topic#but I notice that a lot of male videoessayists are not yknow. sex bombs#theyre dressed in hoodies and have balding spots and a stubble that they forgot to shave maybe some chub#and Im not saying this as 'oh these are ugly traits' no I mean it in a sense that they are a lot more laid back about their appearance#and they also do not appear entirely conventionally attractive#neither in a cishet hot man way nor in more queer perception#(and lets admit it. queer spaces do have a few Types that they find hot that are not mainstream. but theyre queer mainstream)#theyre just Some Guys#and then when I watch women or fem-presenting individuals theyre all just... pretty?#they care for their appearance a lot more first and foremost. which I love. themed outfits for videoessays my beloved#but theres still a certain amount of just... pretty faces by default#I dont think ive ever really seen a fem-presenting/fem-leaning individual that wasnt already pretty#be it in a mainstream or queer mainstream way#and Im wondering if its just cause Im a lesbian or because non-attractive fem-presenting individuals dont get the attention#because we are somehow hardwired to watch hot women. but with men we give a pass#someone smarter than me probably already did an essay on this
