When I was in high school, I went through a few cash cars. The problem with having a car back then was that I couldn't afford to maintain one properly. That's the issue with owning things—cars, houses, whatever. Not only does one need to be able to pay for the item, but maintenance is also a significant expense and shouldn't be ignored. It's not just a matter of whether one can afford the cost of taking care of property, but whether one will actually take care of it. Another variable is priorities, which often come down to entertainment versus everything else. Do you sacrifice taking care of your belongings to have a good time?

yandere & dollhouse thoughts

I have been obsessing over the idea of a yandere kidnapper, the kind who keeps you in a stationary house & is very domestic, indulging you in a dollhouse hobby.

Getting furniture and other mini decor, helping you put up wallpaper and carpet in the rooms. Maybe even getting you more than one dollhouse, or special sets, like Rement sets, when you want something themed.

Pretty soon the extra room in the house, or the basement, or both, are filled with your collection. It makes you happy, when something comes in the mail or they come home with a bag of goodies. Happy and more compliant, less likely to argue and fight...

How could they say no, when it makes you so docile?

I was reading fanfics, as one does, stayed up until 8 am. If not for the cite doing down for maintenance, (which I was not aware of), I would have never gone to sleep. Thanks for the AO3 maintenance protecting my fragile sleep cycle.

I did end up waking up on time for my class at 6. I did make it. Hungry but I made it.

The fact that all my noticeable dysautonomia symptoms just DISSOLVE the second I lay down, no matter how severe they were, butthat I have to STAY laying down for that to stay true feels like God's way of punishing me for my hubris

The fact that "lay down and stay down" is the only treatment available to me when my orthostatic hypotension flares overwhelm my treatment protocol is just a fucking nightmare on all conceivable levels

It's a customised 1979 Kawasaki Z400!

Originally customised in Germany around 2014 and then imported to Norway in 2021.

I'm putting the work in right now to get it looking a little nicer, since it's a bit scraggly as is, but I think it'll be a really cool little bike in the end!

Being a wheelchair user is just a constant maintenance and upgrade loop. Like. I finally replaced my caster wheels! Now I need to replace my tires and order axle spacers so I can use my wheels w/ better push rims. Eventually I should upgrade my folding/travel chair's backrest. Get a new backrest cover for my current backrest. Get a new cushion. Etc etc on top of daily/weekly/monthly maintenance. All to be able to move comfortably!!
