Very cool! What kind of bike did you get?

Thank you! This made me realise I don't think I've ever specified exactly what it is for some reason.

It's a customised 1979 Kawasaki Z400!

Originally customised in Germany around 2014 and then imported to Norway in 2021.

I'm putting the work in right now to get it looking a little nicer, since it's a bit scraggly as is, but I think it'll be a really cool little bike in the end!

#Short term it's mostly a lot of cosmetic stuff #Sanding and painting the tank. Reupholstering the seat. New lights etc.#Also taking the tarnish off the engine and sanding/repainting the mufflers #long term i'll probably re-do all the wiring cause it's functional rn but i'd like to know it's actually done properly #I'm considering replacing the handlebars at some point #and ideally the frame needs re-painting cause i don't love the grey but UGH #but for now i'm doing the basic maintenace stuff this winter and replacing the parts that need it #with the goal of actually getting my license next spring/summer #i have a motorcycle tag also:#Tansy tag #i love her so much it's actually embarrassing
