In the muddy depths of a jungle, Sister Superior Seraphina and Catachan Guardswoman Thorne sat, munching on rat skewers. Chaos troops lurked nearby. Seraphina sighed, „The Emperor protects, but He sure doesn’t cook.” Thorne grinned, „Could be worse. At least it’s not Ork soup.” A rustle in the bushes had them gripping their weapons. Instead of Chaos, a rat scurried out. „Desert!” Thorne declared, spearing it expertly. Seraphina shook her head, „By the Emperor, you Catachans really can eat anything.” Thorne laughed, „Just wait until you try my Deathworld rat stew.” Even Chaos would flee from that culinary terror.
Another funny one I came up with in the shower xD
Never really did draw the catachan guards so here’s a neat occasion.

Big E: "I hope you have a child just like you when you grow up."
Magnus: "What is that supposed to mean?"
Ahriman, covered in sand: "Dad, promise you won't be mad..."

Just finished up painting the skin on the upper body today.
Started off with a coating of Sigvald burgundy followed by layering it with a mixture of wazdaka red and pink horror. after that, I then shaded the 3 quarters of the body with carroburg crimson (leaving the Eye hand to be shaded with druichi violet). i then finished it off with a few highlights around the muscular area's using Wazdaka red, Pink horror and then Emperors children.
after the skin was done, I decided to work on the horn and finger nail areas. I started off by basing each of the areas with wraithbone, then coating it with a skeleton horde contrast paint. wanting the horns to be slightly darker, i then shaded over it with a bit of reikland flesh shade just below the upper tips of the horn (of which i had already coated with black legion).
and yeah that's about it. I don't know where im going to start on next but hopefully by next post you'll find out.
hope you all enjoyed this. :)

I like the idea that Magnus could kick his brothers’ asses.
It’s funny because he kinda feels like a little nerdy brother who gets picked on, then grows up to run a multimillion dollar company that employs the very siblings that picked on him
Also he can fly and has god-tier psychic powers.
Suck it Leman.

Got 79% for the battery percent prompt and starting laughing my ass off
[Battery Percentage Asks]
79%. Does your character feel guilty about anything in the past?
Hmm. No, he definitely regrets nothing, because he did nothing wrong. He definitely does not regret the destruction of the Webway, for which he had tried to basically commit planetary suicide over. He also definitely does not in any way shape or form regret the murder of Morningstar, to the extent that he purged it from the memories of his Legion because he didn't want them to live with the horrors of what had happened, no regrets there. He did not regret roasting Malcador to a crisp after an outburst of rage, despite now being confidently his enemy, at all. No regrets regarding his failed solution to the Flesh Change, damning his Legion for all time. None whatsoever for also not being able to get Lorgar to not pursue his Pilgrimage or saving Horus from falling. Absolutely none.
Nope. No regrets. For anything, ever, because he has done nothing wrong.

Ok, I'm starting to think someday someone would ask me the list of people who did nothing wrong imo, and although sharing it about certain real people may or may not be considered extremism, I will show you my top-10 of characters who did nothing wrong.
1. Magnus The Red. Like, obviously, duh.
2. Princess Azula
3. Amanda Young
4. Roland Of Gilead
5. Konrad Curze
6. Michael Myers(RZ)
7. Harley Quinn
8. DT Keeper
9. Owlking and Wolf Queen
10. Cirilla
Now, if you ask me to explain, I won't do it. I know those are all like, murderers, warmongers and war criminals, but ehm... they did nothing wrong. In my sick mind, all is perfectly fine and I would join most of them in their quest. Get to The Dark Tower by any means? Sure. Slay the Eagle in the name of the night? Great. Slaughter some teens and a bald century-old wanker for the greater good and the strongest nation? Aye-aye! Just have fun? Ripper! Put some heretics to a death trap? I'm in. Vengeance? Vengeance! What, I'm a psychopath? No, I'm just a rich British Aussie. Not like there's too much of a difference.

Hello everyone!
Hope you’ve all had a wonderful new years!
As I mentioned in my last post, I’ve been busy getting my new place sorted (and working XD), so I’ve not had a whole lot of time to myself.
But! I’ve got my new painting setup all sorted, and I’m making good progress on my new years projects!
I’m currently working my way through my old metal & resin Chaos Space Marines, starting with 8 Thousand Sons!
These are metal/ plastic hybrid models - and I hate them. They’re very limited on details or strong contrasts in textures. This is very prominent on the legs (a fault with the old CSM sprues), where the trim fades into the armour, and the eyes in the heads are very hit or miss.
Guess that’s the problem with the old hand sculpted models and moulds - quality is very hit or miss (see also the ‘new’ 2008 Bretonnian Lord they’re release for The Old World)
Still, only one left (with one missing arm in storage somewhere)! Then onto Lords, Sorcerers, Terminators and characters!

I can't stop thinking about the relationship between Jon and Helen as perhaps one of the most important ones in the entire show. They are narrative parallels for each other, and they both know it. They've both known it from the very start!
Helen walks into the Archives, paranoid, unsure of who to trust, and Jon sees himself in her. And he thinks "If i can help her, maybe there's hope for me too." Then he can't save her. The next time they meet, she's a monster. They're both monsters. There was never any other way their stories could have gone, their fates entwined from the very start.
And Helen answers his original thought with one of her own: "Maybe if we can help each other, there's hope for us both." But Jon looks at her and sees everything that he fears becoming, and so he turns her away, and refuses to accept that their stories are still one and the same.
Helen went to the last person who was ever kind to her, the only person who both knew her as a human and had the context to understand what she'd become, and he hated her. He hated her because he liked Helen, and told her that she couldn't be Helen.
So she stopped trying to be Helen, and embraced being a monster. Reveled in it even. Then Jon wakes up from a six month coma, more monster than person, and tries so hard to cling to the things that mattered to him when he was human. Even with no support, even with the entire archives staff against him, he chooses humanity and compassion over and over again.
And this is a direct threat to Helen's world view. Their stories are entwined. If Jon can continue to be a person even after everything he's been through, then she could have clung to her humanity too, if only she'd tried a little harder. And that terrifies her! She wants to conceptualize herself as someone who was completely overwhelmed by forces beyond her control, who never had a choice but to become a monster. She want's to be an innocent victim. But Jon argues with his actions that they'd both had choices.
And, Jon, in turn, holds out hope that she might make better choices until the very end.
This is the conflict between them for all of season 4 and 5. Jon wants to prove that they can both be decent people, and Helen wants to prove that they were never going to be anything but monsters. This is why she's so devoted to trying to goad Jon into enjoying his newfound godhood. She knows that they are the same, and wants that to mean that he has a spark of evil inside of him, and not that she was always capable of doing good.
When Jon kills her, she loses her life, but wins the argument. Helen is nothing but a dangerous monster who needs to be killed for the good of everyone, and in the moment he decides that, Jon dooms himself to the same fate. Their stories are one and the same. "If i can help her, maybe there's hope for me too." he thought. But he couldn't help her, refused to, even, in the one moment when it actually mattered. And thus, there was never hope for him.

Look, I love Jon as much as the next person but I think some of you have gone so far along the ‘Jon is a sad little man who did nothing wrong’ route that you’ve genuinely forgotten all the times he held power in a situation or like. Made a decision that hurt people

Finally started work on a magnus the red model (primed with grey seer spray) for thousand sons. but rather then just show you the whole model all at once, to make things interesting, im going to show you parts of the model i've been taking my time refining such as the wings. To start off with, I basically based it with a a collection of contrast paints such as Black legion, Sigvald burgundy and akhellion green. afterwhich, i did three dry brush highlights of thousand sons blue, ahriman blue and baharoth blue.
after that, I used Ahriman blue again to paint up the markings on the inner parts of the wings before then traditionally highlighting them with another bit baharoth blue.
so that's about it for now. i think im making really good progress and hopefully when i start working on the skin, it should also provide good results. hope to see you then and i hope you enjoyed this!

PROPAGANDA
Jonathan Sims
Half the fandom will vilify him and call him stupid or an irredeemable monster for his choices, which he made because he was a little sneaky. The other half will woobify and baby him and act like he had no agency or choice in his actions and every other character is to blame for the consequences.
The classic monster/human struggle of finding one's humanity after doing unimaginable harm, Jon Sims is often morally misinterpreted as being a "good" or "bad" person, instead of someone who has done good and bad things in his very human experience of having the world's most toxic workplace and being in his 20s.
Fandom constantly asserts he’s done nothing wrong and can do no wrong however the entire podcast is about how trauma fucks people up. 4th season of the show spends a lot of time on him having a crisis about the morality of feeding off people’s fear in a way that deeply hurts them. Fandom ignores this season apart from to talk about how mean the others characters were to him in it. Characters he’s hurt are described by the fandom as ‘whiny’, ‘self-serving’, ‘a tantruming child’. He has a female narrative foil with a story arc that mirrors his. She is hated by much of the fandom
Wei Wuxian
Sooo many people think he's God's Perfect Little Boy or something but like. This man killed. This man literally tortured someone to death. Was it due to trauma? Sure! Doesn't fucking make it okay! And it's not like he shows true remorse for it either. As much as I love Wei Wuxian, he's not exactly the example of morally good/okay. (Can't say he's evil either though. Like. Look at all the good he did and tried to do in his life.)
He tortured a guy but he also did his best and got a second chance with a new life
