So Evan was born with his curse, right? I don't know what type of magic it is exactly, but it is powerful, old, and it seems more resistant to the breaking of magic. I think it might be a part of him, especially now.

And Dr Boodle Send Him To The Island Where They Maim/Kill Magical Artifacts And People.

I already thought that the whole mission was a bad idea but holy SHIT.

What I love about misfits and magic also is that Evan Kelmp's inherent constant state of possession is just like.. never explained. Like no there was never like a big ritual or something he was just like. Born like that.

Something I love about Sam is she greets everyone and everything with kindness. People, dragons, demons. Where others are panicked or defensive, she just speaks to everyone as an equal.

Misfits and Magic Season 2 Episode 1 disorganized thoughts!

“We’re gonna cut down from 40 songs to 20 so you can train animals in the second half of the hour” it’s so great how everything she says is more impossible than the last!

Also “language LANGUAGE” was a fun bit

Jammer and Sam both seem busy, but K and Evan are straight up avoiding their minds and I’m so excited to see where this goes. (Poor Theadore) And watching Sam and Jammer observe and react to “you’re looking well” was so funny!

Kinda glad they broke up just because Brennen and Erika do tense/complicated moments so well. Like look at burrows end.

I keep looking at Erika’s sleeves. They’re just really cool.

And Aabria is so. good. at. this.

This is already so fun for me.

I don't know how big the crossover is between the fandoms is but Evan Kelmp is a babygirl to me in the same way that Peter Spankoffski is a scrungle. They are filed away in the same folder in my brain.

I've often felt like that a lot too, especially in college and more recently now that I'm freshly graduated. That I'm being pulled in too many ways by too many hands, but I forgot just how often those hands are reaching out to uplift as well. Woof. What a ride.

Magic & Misfits on Dropout is so good that it's improving my life quality. I am literally putting my phone down and delaying continuing watching it because just knowing it exists in my life makes my life better and I have it to look forward to and go back to.

This is like… found family that indulges in all the sacred and beautiful moments between friends, and lets the plot run in the background as a way to keep the movement running.

It puts it's characters into situations and lets them play those situations with their fullest hearts and I love every moment of it.

I love what Aabria brings to the table for her players. She's always swinging big, and it's always fun to see everyone have a joy together. She's a wonderful curator of experience. I'm rewatching magic & misfits because i forgot i already watched it (it's me, I'm the problem) and so I'm re-experiencing them all getting their wands
