okay so we know claudia didn’t keep writing diaries after louis turned madeleine, but what if next season louis goes back to france, and finds the wherever claudia and madeleine lived before the trial. and he finds photo albums instead of diaries. albums upon albums of pictures claudia took, each photo with her familiar scrawl on the back noting the date. pictures of flowers blooming from the dead. claudia in beautifully tailored dresses, sewn by her immortal companion with love and care. madeleine crafting the next. claudia’s neck bent as she pores over huge tomes, figuring out the next place her and madeleine are going to wander. pictures of stolen kisses between the two, so intimate that louis feels he should look away. claudia looking truly alive, truly at peace. moreso than louis had ever seen her.

there’s no artistry in the photographs, they have the same shaky hand and trick of the light that louis struggled with when taking his. but it’s evidence that claudia was happy. she was happy.

louis keeps them all.

something about the father-daughter relationship of lestat and claudia is just so personal to me. it breaks my heart but I can't analyze it enough or read other people analyzing their relationship. it's so beautifully heartbreaking.

a child who just wanted to be loved. everyone failed her, in mortal life and her undead one. she just wanted to be chosen first. put first.

and in her 43 years trapped in the body of a little girl- only one person chose her first.

in the first drawing, claudia is wearing thom browne fw24 couture and madeleine is wearing julien fournié fw10 haute couture inspired dress and a hand bag from dolce and cabanna fw18 ready-to-wear + matching gloves

the idea stemmed from the thought that bc of her dysphoria/dysmorphia, claudia might like wearing clothes that aim to deconstruct the anatomy of the body

Armand orchestrated Madeleine’s death because she so easily outcunted him. Absolutely no effort just laughed him in the face at his questions “yeah I can live and be mentally stable for eternity. what, like it’s hard?” she said skill issue if you can’t handle killing as a vampire.
