I love Madeleine Eparvier so fucking much. Like excuse me but she saw Claudia, a child who wasnt a child, something she could love as fiercly as she wanted to, someone she could love with all her heart and would never have to fear would die. Someone she could lose herself to, her tether to the world, to the new era being born before her eyes. Madeleine longed for Claudia just as much as Armand and Louis longed for each other. She who lost everything and was stuck in that loss now had a chance to create something new

And create she fucking did. Becouse despite saying that Claudia was a child who cant die, Madeleine decided she'd create a new world where Claudia wasnt a child. Madeline who hammered nails lower on the walls so that Claudia could acctually see the pictures hanged up, who made furniture fit for Claudia's body so that she wouldnt have to struggle climbing up to the bed, who made her porcelein dolls with adult features.

And Madaleine who loved fire becouse it purrifies, danced and rejoiced in the flames of her past with Claudia her future. Who wanted to see theatre des vampires but listened to Claudia when she warned her. Madeleine who wanted to travel the world with Claudia, who talked to Claudia as if they were equals.

Madeleine the only vampire made out of love, the only vampire who came alive after being turned.
