💖 NUTRITION & WELLBEING EDITION - 10 WEEKS UNTIL 2025 - GLOW UP SERIES [WEEK 10] - 💖
So we’re 10 weeks till 2025, the new year is fast approaching, your energy levels are in the gutter and despite mentally wanting to change your life there’s just something keeping you stuck. You wake up and it’s the same story different day, tired, hungry, moody as hell.
While you might mentally want to change your life, your body needs to be on board and to do that it’s gona need the right foods, drinks and nutrients to have you functioning at your optimal level. Taking drastic action when it comes to changing your diet is how you’re going to see drastic results in your energy levels, productivity and overall wellbeing…
The foundations:
🛌 SLEEP: All those late night movies before bed, Netflix and chill, love-is-blind binging needs to stop immediately. You need a set bed time and you need to be consistent. Waking up and going to sleep at the exact same time every single day. I recommend 10pm - 6am or somewhere around there.
🥱 Sleep with your mouth closed. Use mouth strips from amazon if you dribble, snore, or struggle to sleep properly - breathing through your mouth is most likely the culprit. It’s not natural and disturbs natures rhythm which is breathing through your nose. Mouth strips have been a game changer for me, and highly recommended.
🚫 No screen before bed. This is obvious but those doom scrolling morning and nights are over. Switch it off, read a book, pray, meditate, do what you need to. This is about resting your body before bed so you can sleep well and function at your best the next day.
Sleep supplements: Magnesium oil spray or tablets before bed
🍴 FOODS & DRINKS: 2 litres water MINIMUM per day. Absolutely no alcohol for the next 10 weeks. Strict diet of vegetables, fruits, protein and healthy fats, high quality meats and fish. More herbs into your food. Seeds, whole grains such as Chia, Flaxseed, Pumpkin seed, Bulgar wheat. More pre-and-probiotics. Sprouted veggies. Snack on nuts. No sweets, no cakes, no carbs. No bread, no pasta, no rice, no gluten. No nothing that is not a whole food, or from the earth. You are your own doctor when it comes to food, so you will know what is best for you. Above is the closest diet to nature and has changed my life. Eating vegetables in season. Removing western foods, removing vegetable oil, only drinking structured water, herb teas, and freshly pressed veg juices. Changing your diet might mean you stop eating out, you cut the takeouts, you spend your evenings researching meal preps for Keto, or healthy diet. Your life will completely change when you start feeding your body ALIVE foods, instead of nutrient deficient, processed food that keeps you craving more. Yes you are going against the grain. You will be the minority, but what are the alternatives? Stay binging? Stay eating crap? Stay feeling crap?
Supplements:
Chronium, Berberine for support with blood sugar
D3 + K2, B12, Vitamin C 1000mg, Turmeric, Probiotics,
DIM, Milk Thistle, Selenium, Iodine Drops, Omega 3, Mega GLA for women’s health.
Other:
Get full blood panel done to see any deficiencies
Invest in a continuous glucose monitor from Amazon - see how your body is responding to foods you are eating in real time.
🏃🏽♀️EXERCISE: There is no way around this. You need to do some fucking exercise. Even if you start with 10k steps per day. Just do it. Once you’ve switched up your diet you absolutely WILL have more energy. Join a gym, set the intention, put reminders on your phone affirming you ARE someone whoo does exercise and works out. Leave your gym clothes out before bed. Set yourself up to win. Find a friend or someone to work out with. Look on YouTube for a workout if the gym is not possible. Just try your best. This is a mind over matter. ~You got this.
🧘🏽♀️ Finally…STRESS FREE LIVING…
You can eat all the healthy foods, do your 10k steps but if you are involved in a stressful life, those stress hormones are going to come and f**k shit up. You have to remove stress where possible. This is the NUMBER one health destroyer. Stress literally makes is ill. It depletes your energy, exhausts you, and keeps you in survival - not much different to the animals living in the wild. Your life can be so stress free once you realise you are actually in control of a lot more than you realise. Blocking HIM. Saying no to hanging out with HER. Hanging up the phone. Removing yourself from the drama. Quitting your job. Changing your course. Deleting social media. Switching off the news permanently. Distancing yourself. There is SO much you can do to remove stress. But it’s completely on you. You have to take control if you are serious about changing your life.
That’s all for this week! Next week more advice on your pre-2025 glow-up.

How do you live out choosing faith over fear and being truly dependent on God?
Oh man, this is something I was just ruminating upon today. I was in church earlier today and thinking about how reliant I am upon the Lord; truly dependent. I am dependent because I believe His Word that says I am: I am dependent on Him for my very breath to breathe. I am dependent on Him for provision and for direction and for my daily bread. All this to say: I have a job and financial provision, but I still live my life dependent on Him in the sense that everything I have comes from Him–even the ability to make money (1 Chronicles 29:12). I don't believe anything I have is because of my own cleverness, anything I have is from His hand–including salvation. So I live my life from this belief because I read the Word daily and the Bible transforms our minds and how we view everything (Romans 12:2). Which is also why I thank God before every meal I eat and ask Him to bless and nourish it to my body (Matthew 6:11 + 1 Timothy 4:3-5). So I find being dependent on Him comes from my perspective and my perspectives comes from biblical truths, I am a work in progress in this (we are all being sanctified this side of Eternity). I am dependent on Him because every day I see I am nothing without Him; He is God and worthy of all my allegiance and my life is not my own. Our lives are not our own (Colossians 3:3).
Also, earlier today I felt scared about something. I have felt scared about things in my life for sure, I won't go into the trials and timeline of my life here now, but I have had challenges and the Lord has kept me and guided me. So as I see His faithfulness through the years I know I can be scared–feeling like if I move forward, if I jump, will there be anything underneath me to carry me or will I fall? And I do believe as I am: 1. seeking to honor Him + praying about what He has placed on my heart, and 2. seeking to live by His Word (He would never have us do anything against His Word/heart + counsel as revealed in His Word) then I know He is with me and He is faithful and I can be scared, yet confident that I am not alone and my life is in the hands of the Maker of Heaven & Earth and that is far more precious than my life being in the care of anything or anyone else. I trust Him.

Strategy to become her, the next 6 months, lets get serious.
Let's become serious, right now.
Nobody is going to hand you the life you want, stop waiting for it to come in the mail. Stop fooling yourself and being content.
If you are dissatisfied with your current life, now is the time to re-write your script and your life and work towards your new reality, right now, right this second. Do not save it for later or when you get home after your commute or after meeting that lame ex whatever it is, now is the time.
No more delaying.
I am going to be real with you, you are clearly reading this because you aren't the woman you want to be, stop being lazy. Stop claiming to be something you are not and being a fraud and actually make the steps and be her. Apply that 1% every day to become her.
You told yourself at the beginning of the year you was going to make steps to become that woman, you was going to get fit, you was going to start the business, you was going to learn more skills to add another stream of income, that you was going to socialise more, that you was going increase your dating roaster, that you was on the journey of having 6 figures, that you was going to set boundaries and cut out the crap out of your life.
What are you doing now? Waking up late, making up excuses, allowing anybody to dictate your life and your emotions, relying on pay check to pay check, dating the same loser guys, allowing people to walk allover you, eating junk and crap everyday.
You start this "new me" then two days later you are back to your same old habits. You are not lacking discipline, you are lacking motivation and purpose.
We need to plan, execute and become. No more constantly talking and now it's time to do. To have your lifestyle: Thoughts leads → actions. Actions leads → habits. Habits leads → lifestyle. Lifestyle leads → who you become.
Input = output.
Remember that for an output you require to do the work.
You have to be serious.
Stop limiting yourself, stop living in fear, stop claiming your really want a certain life if you do not want it. Or accept you are basic and lazy and a fraud.
We have so many tools and recourses to become the woman you want to be.
I truly understand how it is feels to want a certain life, take one day at a time. One day you will be disciplined and excelling and the next day its the opposite however when you have a plan you can always go back to there is no way you will not improve.
Sometimes what is needed is to lock yourself in, remove all the noise and keep to yourself and plan and execute and re-align yourself.
Maybe it not about re-aligning its about becoming a new person.
Life is all about constant re-alignment, life is about the journey. It will not always be fun, but its the journey getting there.
To redesign your life we need to do three things.
Visualise
Plan
Execute.
Its really that simple, however within each of these steps we need to not rush through these steps to ensure we maximise our results.
So how are we going to do this?
We will update this post with different phases on how to change and execute to the woman you want to be.
In order to manifest your best life and to less likely to quit, documentation is key.
Where you are going with your visualising is you are visualising in 10 years, think about your current state now. RIGHT NOW.
Visualise the bridge, where you are now to where you are going.
Create a moodboard of the things you need to do such as healthy eating habits, reading books. Visualise being disciplined, visualise having to stay in because you have to work on yourself. Visualise on yourself failing and some days not going right.
Phase 1
We have to operate at our highest self, you have to reprogram your mind and achieve an affluent mindset.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/50e5509b0f865a1c8775b398bdd06ed5/66b0758d52498c15-7f/s540x810/59c40713233be51cf86c2a80cd1ee5212c2c80bd.jpg)
Habits required to be implemented in Phase 1
Increase your knowledge, nobody can take away your knowledge and self development that is your biggest weapon. The goal is to read and complete a book weekly / bi-weekly. However in phase 1 we can start at finishing a book within one month.
read one of the books from this list.
Eat healthy, in phase 2 we will delve more into dieting and healthy eating and working out. However for results you need to be at your best self.
Document and journal, there are many studies that prove documenting and tracking your goals leads to success and keeping yourself accountable.
For Phase 1 I have created a dream life visualisation bundle, that has been created for all of you which I am using and have received great results from! These next 6 months we are not playing.
This bundle includes our Dream Life Visualisation Journal, The Money Abundance Journal and 99 Days of Manifesting Journal.
Start now. Start today. Start alone. Start with a friend. Do not wait for anybody to give you your dream life.

Hey Tahyal! I hope all is well.
I have a lot of bloating going on right now. It seems to happen a lot before my cycle. Any recommendations?
Hello!
So from a purely physical perspective :
Are you eliminating properly ? (Do you go everyday?) - If not, focus on having regular bowel movements everyday and the bloating could subside just with that. Some things you can do for that are : Move everyday (could be gentle movements such as yoga, pilates, or even just walking), Drink enough water for your body weight, Eat more protein, as well as fiber to facilitate estrogen detox and to flush things out, and check your stomach acid levels, if they’re low you might want to try digestive bitters to facilitate the digestion process (Organic Olivia has a nice one in spray format).
I also recommend checking if you’re not magnesium deficient, as this mineral plays an important role in digestion, and in our body in general. Most people are deficient in Magnesium. If you do choose to supplement with it, I recommend the sunwarrior brand, its liquid and quite bitter, but its the best one ive tried composition wise!
Aside from that, here are some herbal teas that can help with bloating : Ginger & Mint, Dandelion root, Spearmint or Peppermint, Rose petal & Hibiscus.
Deep belly breathing exercises, Belly massages, and Foot massages to stimulate MMC (migrating motor complex) can all be great additions to your routine 🫶🏽.
Now from an emotional / mental perspective :
Bloating can occur when we are resisting something, bottling up emotions, or experiencing fear or anxiety. It’s our body’s way of trying to get our attention, urging us to get out of our heads and into our bodies, our emotions : to feel instead of analyze or strategize.
You might greatly benefit from journaling (no filter, write everything that comes up or that has been on your mind), mindfulness (sit with yourself and feel what comes up, do not resist, do not analyze, simply be present with yourself), Prayer (casting the burden on a Power Higher than you is liberating, knowing that you are ultimately seen and taken care of, regardless of what the circumstances are currently looking like).
If you’re up to do a bit of reading, I highly recommend these books : The emotion code by Dr Bradley Nelson, and Your body’s telling you : love yourself by Lise Bourbeau.
Check out Kori Meloy’s instagram as well, she has a plethora of information about women’s health.
Hope you feel well soon 🤍

Cooking tips for beginners:
1. Grill your salmon skin side down first.
2. Salting your pasta water seasons the pasta and makes it tastier.
3. Adding olive oil to your pasta water keeps the pasta from sticking together.
3. Slice your onion through the root. Don’t cut the root off (this is what causes you to cry).
4. Make sure your meat is at room temperature before you start cooking it.
5. Let your meat rest for 5-7 minutes before cutting it.
6. Always rinse your rice & canned foods. (Rinsing canned vegetables can reduce its sodium content).
7. Rice: rinse, season, cold water, lid on, boil, simmer for 8-10 min. Fluff with a fork.
8. To keep avocados & potatoes from browning, put them in water with lemon juice and keep in fridge.
9. Storing parsley in water will keep it fresh for a week.
10. Always leave your hard boiled eggs in an ice bath for 10 minutes. (This makes it easier to remove the shell).
11. After rinsing and peeling your potatoes, soak in cold water for 30 minutes. (This removes starch from the potatoes giving them a crisp finish when cooked).
12. Roll lemons & limes under your palm before slicing through for the maximum amount of juice.
13: Always dry off your proteins before seasoning.
14. Adding pasta water to your sauce helps it stick to the noodles.
15. Shred your own cheese, it melts better.

DAILY HABITS FOR BETTER APPEARANCE (FREE)
1. Mewling
Tongue against the roof of your mouth. Swallow thrice to create a vacuum. Breathe through your nose
-gives you a more sculpted jawline / appearance in 3-4 months, improves breathing, reduces snoring, etc.
2. Fasting
Greatest results are achieved by having your first meal after midday and last before 8pm. If this is unrealistic for you try up to 15 hours of no food per 24 hours. Includes caloric drinks. No food one hour before bed and after waking, only water.
-benefits are innumerable. Better skin, focus, more collagen, better sleep, more energy, ketosis, etc. This is the powerhouse of health.
3. Proper posture
Posture is a matter of movement and flexibility. The more you move the better your posture. Sit/stand/walk upright, supporting the natural curves of your backbone.
-reduced risk of lower back pains, look taller and more confident, reduces any back pain
4. Movement
Walking around, taking stairs over lift/elevator, morning jogs, stretching on your floor x Yoga, walking over car rides, jogging up the stairs, walking around your apartment- there's so many ways to do this
-I REFUSE to explain the benefits of movements to a fully grown woman
5. Fidgeting
Now, this is tricky but scientists have discovered people than maintain their weight are usually fidgeting/moving a part of their body constantly, especially over a joint (usually wrist, leg or foot) . To the brain movement is movement
-overall fitness, easy workout x weight maintainance
6. Cold baths in the morning and warm in the evening
Well, what's to explain. Morning cold showers help you wake up and evening warm showers help you relax. A relaxed and alert person is attractive.
7. Breathing exercises
Any on YouTube that resonates/fits with you.
-better speech, posture, jawline/face outline
8. Sensual dancing
And I don't mean twerking. I mean whatever little dance makes you feel sensual. The 'Alexa Demie Dance' is a good place to start, go yo your room, set the lights and candles if you can (or lights off) plug the earphones in, Lana Del Rey / soft sexy music with some allure in them and move slowly, hands over your body in rhythm and get into your sensuality
-sexy aura, sensual, connects you with your inner 'goddes'. Brings out the badass in you
*AVOID music with degrading undertones to womanhood and girls or sexualization of women. SEXUAL isn't SENSUAL
9. Listen to uplifting music in the morning
If possible sneak your affirmations in as music. Listen to music that's made about the life you want, your femininity, your power, etc.
- aligns you with your goals X puts in the mood to work and win
* Avoid hip-hop type beats with cuss words, degradation of women, man or money worship etc
10. Mirror/camera work
This acting out various scenes to your mirror / camera to view yourself from an outside perspective. Could be walking, eating, talking, laughing, etc
-It gives you a reality check to where you are and what needs improvement. I'm pro camera with no filters

How to develop a mindset for more via Dr. Dharius Daniels - “I’m not Greedy, I’m Hungry” sermon 🩵
1. Mindset for more
More requires an attitude adjustment. The scripture communicates that God advances a persons life, head first. The first thing he moves is your mind by giving you a mindset for more. You are wherever your mind is. Do not be conformed by this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
2. Maturity for more
We don’t only need a mind that wants more, we need a heart that can handle it. Whenever you get more of anything, you get more of everything. For example: You don’t get a promotion without pressure. You don’t get more notoriety without getting more criticism. You need a degree of maturity to be able to handle the backsides of those blessings.
3. A Method for more
The more doesn’t happen magically. It comes through methods, ideas and strategy. Pray for God to give you a plan.
4. Make room for more
May God make unexplainable eliminations in your life. When God removes certain things or people from our life, he wants to do it preemptively. Meaning, he wants to do it before you see why it needs to be done. There’s a level of more that no longer allows you to manage high maintenance relationships. You need people in your life that want you to experience more, even if they know things between you need to be adjusted.
5. Make noise for more
Don’t wait for more to arrive for you to be glad, your gladness before it arrives is an expression and indication that you believe it’s coming. Become a person of praise. Give thanks constantly. Practice mindfulness. You can’t praise without getting your mind full of what’s praiseworthy about God. Live a life of gratitude and thanks giving. Gratitude is the seed for more. God gives more to the grateful. Be grateful for what is already done.

You will start to see more clearly once you stop automatically giving the worst case scenario more credibility than the best case scenario. Quit putting fear and negative anticipation on a pedestal, and masquerading it as « being realistic ».
There is a time to assess things objectively, but there is a difference between doing that and constantly having a negative outlook on every situation.
Sometimes you must silence your inner critic, and leave more space for optimism and faith.
