Judeans made wine for both internal distribution and for export, from the Richon area of Israel "Richon Le Zion, Palestine" which was a Jewish area of course. The label also says "Raisin de Canaan" - French for "Grapes of Canaan."
Naturally, the Arab Muslims can't drink and don't make wine.
Another well known wine began being produced in late 1800s. The Palestine Wine Company (PalWin for short), was founded in 1898, one of which the first brands sold in export markets by the Israeli wine industry.
In other news which proves that the Israelis are those who were called Palestinians, and which the Arabs will ignore, is that the Anglo-Palestine Bank was founded and later renamed Bank Leumi, the quality newspaper for English speakers was The Palestine Post (later renamed The Jerusalem Post), the pre-1948 soccer team was jewish, the pre-1948 symphony orchestra was jewish, as was the Palestine Airways (founded 1934), which was based in Haifa and commenced flights from Lydda (Ben Gurion airport), but due to Arab unrest, was moved to an airport in Tel Aviv, taking 6,800 passengers in 1938 to destinations like Haifa and Beirut.
The Palestine Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1936, well before the establishment of the modern state of Israel
Then of course, you had the Israeli soccer teams which played national & international matches in the 1930s and 1940s. The teams names were "Maccabi Tel Aviv", "Maccabi Petah Tikva" & "Maccabi Haifa." The Palestine team (all Jews) played throughout the world, including Australia. The team famously played Lebanon in April 1940, in Maccabiah Stadium (Tel Aviv), beating the Phoenicians 5 to 1, with 10,000 in attendance.

Berlin Jewish youth soccer team attacked by knife-wielding pro-Palestinian mob
🇺🇸 In Berlin, an under-17 Jewish youth soccer team called TuS Makkabi was attacked on Thursday by a group wielding knives and sticks after a match against DJK Schwarz-Weiß Neukölln, according to sources such as Tagesspiegel. Opposing players reportedly shouted “Free Palestine” at the team, and some parents of the players claimed that their children were spat on while the referee failed to intervene. In response, the Schwarz-Weiß Neukölln club vowed to expel the involved youth from the team. According to Alon Meyer, president of Makkabi Germany, witnesses confirmed that threats and chasing with knives indeed took place. Iris Spranger, Berlin’s Interior Senator, condemned the attack and noted that antisemitic violence persists in the city. The hate crime police unit, Staatsschutz, is currently investigating the incident. This incident highlights a rise in antisemitism across Europe, as seen in recent attacks on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans in Amsterdam following a match against Ajax, which even led to a temporary ban on demonstrations in the city. Israeli fans had to be evacuated in emergency flights after increased attacks and unrest in several European cities.

Maccabi Tel Aviv hooligans chant their genocidal song while being protected by the police in Amsterdam, this song they’re chanting has a part that says “there are no schools in Gaza because there are no children left”.
From Suppressed News, on Twitter:
IMPORTANT: This is what Maccabi Tel Aviv Hooligans did in the Netherlands that triggered all the violence against them after the authorities did nothing, don’t let anyone twist it.
Israelis are not the victim.
They took down Palestine’s flag and then it all started.
An eyewitness stated: “It all kicked off when they pulled a Palestinian flag off a facade. Then they started provoking and destroyed a taxi driver's car and beat up the driver themselves.”
Some Maccabi fans were seen with metal chains, ready to attack.
Also during tonight’s match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Israeli supporters refused to hold a minute of silence for Valencia flood victims. They even started illegal fireworks.
—
They sang racist extermination songs
“Let the IDF win to Fuck the Arabs”
All of this, culminating in the above messaging from a known pro-Israel blog, claiming that Mossad will shoot anyone who harms an Israeli. Good for Spain, cancelling the Arms deal will Israel.

I think that unless there's some STRONG change in like, a month, it's time for Jews to leave the Netherlands. Look at these articles and tell me I'm wrong. If this happened here, I'd be finalizing escape plans.
To me, one of the most important pieces of context that is the red flag:
At least over here the police at least will pretend to care and don't refuse to guard Jewish sites.

hey!
first and foremost i am really sorry that this happened and that it impacts how unsafe jewish people and muslim people feel in this city now
i also really appreciate your perspective and the information you shared
(background info: i live in amsterdam)
however, i would like to add some things because i am not sure it's entirely correct that it was as pre-planned as u say it is
i think there was some clear and really extreme provokation
the zionists beat up a taxi driver who then started to organise people -> this was the day before when they got chased into their hotel
the mobilisation happened once the zionists started to tear down and burn flags the day before the match, people responded to that and then the taxi driver activated his network
once this happened the day before, the day of the match they were protected by the police but of course some violence still happened
i am not saying that anti-semitism did not play a role at all! -> it definitely did
there is some information that people started planning after the first night (namely a text in a group saying "there will be a jew hunt", https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/10/world/europe/israeli-soccer-fans-amsterdam-attack.html
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/10/world/europe/israeli-soccer-fans-amsterdam-attack.html)
which is really really awful!!
but i know that a lot people (specifically leftists which is the circle i am familiar with) went to the counterprotest out of solidarity against racism
-there was also a planned protest that was banned at the origninal spot in front of the arena and then was relocated to the anton de komplein which is a bit further away
regarding proportionality: i find it hard to talk about proportionality and also kind of useless often; i don't condone violence in general and i think the anti-semitic character this had is awful
but the zionists came into amsterdam, burned flags, and sung things like "gaza, gaza, gaza is a cemetery" or "there are no schools left in gaza because there are no children left"
i really don't know what they expected to happen? for people to just calmly take it in?
it is of course still really horrible that some people did have anti-semitic intentions and that part cannot be excused but a lot of people had a genuine grievance here
another thing regarding racism being normal by football fans
sure when hooligans come there is always some racist paroles, but what makes this entirely different is:
- there are not hundreds in the city center (maybe a handful) to the point where u cannot go there anymore because it is genuinely so unsafe
-they are not burning flags that are not of the country they play against
in my 3 years of living here i never experienced hooligans to be so many and so boldly fucking shit up in the city center
so i would say it was definitely out of the ordinary and way way more extreme and racist than usual
some information i am unsure about
-did not hear anywhere that jewish businesses were attacked, please let me know if there is a source i would like to know this information
-in general some sources would be nice i always like to read the original information myself too:)
there's a really detailed report by the police here:
I have seen multiple posts going around making fun of, or minimizing, what happened in Amsterdam from antizionists. So I want to give a timeline of what happened.
Pre the attack:
Before people arrived in Amsterdam for the football match, there were people organizing the pogrom. Stuff like wanting to steal jews passports, were shared on social media. Yes, the word used on social media was jews not Israelis. The main people organizing the attack were arab and muslim. We do not know at this point if all the attackers were arab and muslim, but we do know that at least a majority were. This fact does not mean that all Muslims and arabs want to harm all jews, however the extremism which lead to the attack and antisemitisms place in it can and should be talked about.
The Israeli government got wind of this attack and warned the Netherlands Police, who decided to not do anything to protect jews.
This did not happen because the Israeli team lost, despite what certain people are saying.
Day before or of the attack (unconfirmed which day it was):
Once in Amsterdam, there were some fans who did tear down Palestinian flags and chant a racist anti arab chant. Whilst this is still very much racist and should be labeled as such as viewed as bad, it's not out of character for for European football culture, and has happened before with other fans which have not lead to them being hunted down. The pogrom was pre planned and still not a proportional response.
The attack:
Jews were hunted down, beaten, run over, and many more things. They were also forced to say "free gaza" and "free Palestine"
The attack harmed far more than just those who were racist. They attacked jews and anyone they perceived as Jewish indiscriminately.
Jews were saved by an Arab Israeli football player speaking to them loudly in Arabic so people assumed they were arab Israeli or just Arab.
A Greek man was attacked because he could not prove to the attackers that he wasn't jewish and was in fact Greek.
A brittish man was punched because he helped save jews. And when he told his attackers that he was brittish and not israeli or jewish (not sure if he wasn't, but he told his attackers he wasn't), he was told "but you helped a jew"
Jewish businesses were also broken into.
How and why it is antisemitic:
If at this point, you still cannot see why it was an antisemitic attack, let's recap.
• It was a planned attack on jews, not Israelis, jews. And it was planned before any racist things happened.
● jews were spared if they were perceived to be non jews, including being perceived as arab Israeli and non jews were attacked for being perceived as jews and for helping jews
• Jewish businesses were broken into. If it was about breaking into zionist businesses, ones own by non Jewish zionists also would've been broken into, but they were not.
• Non Israeli jews were attacked
It is antisemitic, as the targets of the attack were specifically jews. It was not revenge for palestine or for racist comments.
Israel intervened and flew people out of Amsterdam as it was no longer safe for jews in the city. Not because they lost the match.
#i will say i would rather have conversations like this in person#i think a lot of nuance gets lost#please feel free to also dm me if you would like to talk about this privately i understand that the internet is weird

28 Kasım 2024 Beşiktaş Maccabi Tel Aviv Maçı
*Macaristan'ın Debrecen kentindeki Nagyerdei Stadyumu'nda saat 20:45'te başlayacak olan UEFA Avrupa Ligi Lig Aşaması 5. maçı. Seyircisiz oynanacak karşılaşmada İtalyan hakem Simone Sozza görev alacak. Maalesef Avrupa sisteminin çifte standardı nedeniyle burada olmaması gereken bir takımla, olmaması gereken bir yerde karşılaşıyoruz. Süreç gergindi. Tekrar anlatmaya gerek yok. Herhangi bir sıkıntı yaşamadan her şeyin cevabını sahada verelim. Bunun yanında Beşiktaş çalkantılı bir süreçten geçiyor. Ligde son 4 maçtaki 3 yenilgi, 1 beraberlikle sular kaynadı. Birçok profesyonel isimle yollar ayrıldı. Dün de Başkan Hasan Arat, Futbol A. Ş.'deki başkanlığından istifa ettiğini ilan etti.

Fans clash at France-Israel football match
Fans brawled in Paris at the Nations League fifth-round football match between France and Israel on Thursday, French media reported.
When Israel’s line-up was announced and the Israeli anthem was played, whistles blew from the stands. A few minutes later, fighting broke out in the north stand of France fans at the start of the match. Several dozen people took part in the brawl, some of whom were carrying Israeli flags. According to RMC Sport, 50 fans were involved in the scuffle. Police and stadium staff intervened and order was restored.
The disturbance, according to the radio station, lasted a few minutes, then calm returned. The match ended with the score 0:0.
Before the match, the Stade de France pitch was fenced off with bars with spikes on top. This was done to prevent any fans from entering the pitch. The first rows in the stands were covered with tarpaulins.
Before the game, left-wing politicians and activists organised a demonstration in the northern Paris suburb of Saint-Denis to protest the football match.
The meeting set a record low attendance for the French national team with only 16,611 spectators, including French President Emmanuel Macron.
Israeli authorities advised their citizens to refrain from attending the match with France and not to attend sporting and cultural events in the week following the attacks on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans in Amsterdam.
On the night of November 8, Israeli citizens who had come to support Maccabi football club for a Europa League match against local side Ajax were attacked in Amsterdam. Men armed with edged weapons threw people into canals and took away their passports. The riots began after a group of unidentified men tore down Palestinian flags on the streets of Amsterdam and chanted “Damn you, Palestine!” In the morning, the Israel Defence Forces announced the emergency evacuation of the country’s citizens from the Netherlands.

Amsterdam bans protests after 'antisemitic squads' attack Israeli soccer fans

3 - A mídia tradicional perdeu toda a credibilidade.
