Part 11 of this au that we seriously need a name for. (This is a quick something because I'll be busy for months and this might be the only free time I have.)
<Where are you?>
<At Pigzy's>
<Can I come over with my mother?>
<YAS!>
_"Redson and Princess Iron Fan are coming." MK said out loud,
_"Yayyy!!!! Wait- Why?" Mei jumped,
_"I don't know. He didn't tell."
And before MK could finish his sentence, fire burned around the centre of the restaurant like a tornado. In a moment, Redson and his mother stepped out of it.
_"Redboy! It's so good to see you!" Mei held Redson up and started turning him around, he was too stund to speak,
_"Enough. There's no time for games." even though PIF said that calmly, they could feel her anger in their bones.
Mei placed Redson down and moved back... a little scared.
_"Uhhh... Please have a seat." MK said motioning to the table where Nezha and Erlang were sitting,
_"General, theird lotus prince, it's been a while. Exuse me since I won't be going into long salutations." The princess spoke glancing at them both,
_"It's good to see you haven't changed." Erlang said with a sly smile,
_"You can't add to perfection." She took a seat next to Nezha, who felt like he'll have to stop them from ripping each other's throats like before,
_"Not to be rude or anything, but it's not like you to come so suddenly, are you ok? Is there something wrong?" MK asked PIF, clearly worried as Redson stood next to her,
_"Sun Wukong invited me to his island." her words came out like curses,
_"Ummm... That's not a bad thing." Mei said nervously,
_"It's not the invitation that bothers me. It's what he said after." She will most likely kill one of them at this rate.
_"What did he say?" MK asked,
_"He said my brother has been cursed, and he wants to see me-" PIF started to explain,
_"Wait, hold up. Macaque's your brother?!" Mei wants details.
_"Yes." that was all that PIF is willing to give, then she continued: "At the end he said 'Take what's mine and I'll take what's yours.'"
_"IIIIIIIII.... don't get it." MK doesn't understand, why is that such a bad thing?
_"I wouldn't expect you to." PIF sighed, she has to explain everything for these peasants :"At one point in time, before you were born. Wukong and Macaque were engaged."
_"WHAT?!" Everyone asked in unison,
_"They were planning on getting married after the battle with the celestial army." PIF paid them no mind,
_"They were engaged?!!!" MK asking the question on everyone's mind.
_"Yes. I never approved their union. But my brother was eukh- in love. So I accepted that idiot he called mate."
_"They were engaged?!" MK, again,
_"Yes. But, as I expected, their relationship was over. Mac never told me the details. Not that I care."
_"They were engaged...." MK is still processing this information,
_"Move on from that part." PIF is not in the mood to entertain their idiocy,
_"Ok, ok, sorry. It's just- With the way they treat each other I did not see that coming. Anyway, why is that relevant?"
_"Sun Wukong plainly threatened to take my son or husband if I tried to take Macaque to the Demon Bull family palace. How dare he." PIF can burn someone with the fire coming out of her, "I don't understand... Why is Mac staying with him?" her last sentence was barely heard, it almost sounded sad,
_"Because he doesn't have a choice." MK answered,
_"What do you mean?" Redson asked what his mother wants to know,
_"The curse Monkey King was talking about. We think it's taking Macaque's magic. That's why he's staying in flower fruit mountain."
_"That can't be it. Macaque would rather die than ask that king for anything. Especially if he's defenceless. Sun Wukong is his biggest threat." PIF stopped herself from giving too much unwanted information,
_"I wouldn't say it's that bad."
_"Oh please. Macaque would have to get amnesia before-" and then it clicked, "That's why he said that...."
_"Uhhh... what?"
_"Macaque can't remember... The curse isn't just taking away his magic but also his memories. He doesn't want to leave Flower Fruit Mountain because he doesn't even know where he is."
_"And the Monkey King was giving you a warning to make sure you wouldn't say anything to Macaque." Redson is on the same page as his mother,
_"THAT MONSTER!!!!! HOW DARE HE!!!!" PIF's angre blew and a tornado started forming,
_"Please, calm down! It's not his fault. It's the crown's. It's controlling him!" MK yelled through the wind, trying to keep his feet on the ground,
_"What crown?" The princess calmed herself to hear the answer,
_"The 'Corrupted king's crown.' And it's worse than its name sounds."
_"Wait- It's not the one I think it is, right?" Her face almost betrayed her and lost its colour,
_"I'm afraid it is."
_"Oh no... And he has Macaque..." She is now visibly worried,
_"D-don't worry. I'm going to get the scroll right now."
_"What scroll?"
A little explanation later,
_"You can't." PIF tried to stop that stupid kid from doing something so Wukong,
_"I think I can still go in."
_"Even if you were to get in, that sage won't take his eyes off you."
_"I know, but I have to try."
_"No, you don't. I have a better idea. You can come with us."
_"Wouldn't that be suspicious?"
_"Not if you come as Redson's suitor."
_"WHAT?!" MK and Redson both were feeling their faces burning,
_"Oh stop being childish. It's only for a few hours. You can say you're taking Redson for a walk around the island and look for the scroll, I'll keep the king busy. So suck it up and hold hands." PIF wasn't asking, if there's a chance to save her family she'll take it, this is the best opportunity they got.
_"I agree. It's not like we have time to come up with another plan. Don't get any funny ideas noodleboy, this is only for my uncle."
_"You don't get any funny ideas! I can handle a little acting!"
_"Sure you do." Redson rolled his eyes,
_"Alright then, I'll send a reply to the king's invitation." PIF stood up from her seat, gald this is over,
"Don't fuck this up." She told both her son and his new 'suitor'
"We'll leave for now and meet tomorrow morning to head to the island. I expect you to be prepared by then. I hope we'll never have to meet again. Let's go son." She did mean these words because if she has to meet any of them again, that would mean the plan failed, Sun Wukong would come for her and her family.
A few hours later, as Wukong was reading from the scroll he got from the great library in his- their bedroom, he received a message.
_"Moon guess what." Wukong stepped inside the room,
_"What?" Macaque answered, a spoon of chocolate ice cream in his mouth, sitting on the couch watching some show the king put on the TV for him.
He was feeling overwhelmed, and the king thought this might help him feel better. Just some 'me time' and he was right. Macaque does feel better.
_"Princess Iron Fan is coming tomorrow. Isn't that great?"
_"She is?!" Macaque placed the ice cream bowl down and stood up,
_"Yes, she said she cleared up her entire day to be able to spend time with you."
_"That's great!"
Macaque smiled excitedly, his ears fluttering with joy.
So adorable.
_"I know right! Her son's suitor is coming as well. You've also met him before so don't worry about that."
_"Who is he?"
_"He's called MK, a really nice kid."
_"I don't know..."
_"How about I ask him to stay outside with your nephew? It wouldn't be rude. I know the kid, he'll understand. Actually, I'm kind of his mentor."
_"You have a student?" Does he like kids?
_"Yeh, don't mean to brag, but I'm an awesome teacher. Who am I kidding, of course I'll brag about it."
_"Do you like kids?" This is a deal breaker for me,
_"I don't like kids. I love kids. It's just with the constant attacks and all that we agreed on postponing having children until things were a bit more... ummm... peaceful." I know you love kids and want you own.
_"Oh." Wait-
_"I'll tell the others to start preparing. Do you need anything?"
_"No. And Wukong."
_"Yes?"
_"Thank you."
_"Don't- I mean, if you feel that way... How about a little thank you kiss?"
_"What?!" Did he just-
_"On the cheek! I mean, I wouldn't mind one on the lips but I think I'm stepping on your boundary."
_"Fine. But just a little kiss." That scared me for a second.
_"I miss the days when you used to give me butterfly kisses." Wukong turned his cheek for his moon.
Even though it came as a joke, Wukong does miss the way Macaque used to give him kisses when no one was around. It wasn't like that at the start, actually it started by accident, he can remember it like it was yesterday.
One day Macaque saw Wukong staring sadly into a mother giving her baby some kisses.
_"What's wrong?" Macaque asked, startling the rock monkey,
_"It's nothing.. It's just- Sometimes I wonder what having a mother felt like."
_"Silly monkey. You don't need a mom to get kisses." Macaque doesn't like it when Wukong is sad,
_"What?"
_"You can just ask me for some butterfly kisses. It's not a big deal." Macaque grabbed Wukong's sad face and showered him with kisses until his frown turned upside down,
_"Okay! Okay! I get it!" Wukong couldn't stop giggeling, Macaque's kisses were tickling him. He likes it.
I don't need a mom, I have Macaque.
Macaque would lie if he said he didn't feel embarrassed as his lips touched Wukong's face. But he can handle that to see Wukong smile.
Wukong was bought back to the present as he felt something soft on his lips, he opened his eyes in shock to see Macaque's face and ears burning red.
Did he....
_"Alright, you can go now." His moon said as he walked back to his couch and ice cream.
Wukong stood there stunned for a second, then turned a walked outside, his heart pounding like crazy.
Chocolate....
He walked all the way outside, and kept walking down the mountain, he couldn't stand still, he was too happy. He kept walking until he finally stopped, next to their tree. He breathed in and out, taking back all the memories, trying to calm his heart.
As he was finally calm enough. He sat in the tree shadow, admiring the view. Then he got the scroll out and held it his hands.
Everyone compared me to the sun, in everyone's eyes I was a star, an immortal unstoppable force, some could rely on, some could depend on. But I never thought of myself that way, never. To me, he was the sun, he was my sun, my guiding star. Sure I call him moon but that's just what he feels comfortable with. In truth, he wasn't just a moon that would comfort my darkness, no, he shined so bright he took away all the darkness in the world, even the one inside of me.
But when I lost him, it got so cold, I was never able to find my way home, and I could never see where I was heading. Somehow, it became hard to feel, it was a deadend no matter what I did, so I just stopped.
Now that I have my sun back, now that I've found my way back home, now that it's warm once more, how can I let him go?
I can't...
I don't care if the world burns, I will hold him as it does. I'll burn for him. I can not lose my sun again.
Meanwhile in Macaque's head :
WHAT THE FUCK DID I DO?????!!!! WHY DID I DO THAT??!!!!!! MACAQUE YOU DUMMASS!!!!!!! WHY WHERE YOU THINKING??????!!!!!! YOU BARELY KNOW THAT GUY!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I'm not satisfied with this but it'll have to do. Sorry Xb)

LMK headcanons because I'm bored and have things to say:
Macaque
He's been living in Wukong's house since season 2 and has no plans on leaving now that he's back. He's still upset that Wukong doesn't keep any food there.
He regularly puts on shadow plays about his trauma because he refuses to ever talk to a therapist. Nobody really goes to them anyway.
Wukong
He can read, but he doesn't keep up with how the language changes over time, so he's always slightly confused.
He mostly eats takeout because he can't be bothered to cook.
He had no idea that Macaque was back until he attacked MK. He's just been trying to play it cool.
Pigsy and Tang
They're absolutely married. On paper? No. But they might as well be.
They don't live together, so instead of making Tang sleep on the couch when he's mad, he makes him pay his tab.
Tang has the money to pay, but he'd rather push his luck because he thinks it's funny. He pays him back eventually.
Sandy
He had no idea that Pigsy had a son, and he still doesn't know that he's adopted. He finds himself just thinking about it sometimes.
He didn't really have any friends before Pigsy reached out to him again, and that's why he loves nature so much. He literally started talking to animals out of loneliness.
Mei
She would try to pick a fight with a kid if they beat her high score on Monkey Mech.
I might post more later, but these are my personal favorites.

I'm going insane. (LMK season 5 spoilers at the end)
Trying to put together a timeline for JTTW in LMK is fucking hard.
Like it starts with Sanzang getting the pilgrims together, that's the same as in the book. But after that it gets wacky.
LBD should be the first demon the group encounters so I'm gonna say that is what happens in LMK too. After that nothing major happens that involves LMK.
Not long after that they should encounter Kui Mulang (in JTTW without Wukong because he got banished for killing LBD but that didn't happen in LMK so...i guess he's still here. Probably. Maybe. Or he got banished for some other shit, but for the sake of my sanity we're gonna pretend like he's at Flower Fruit Mountain like he should be**) who captures Sanzang, prompting Bajie to bring Wukong back.
In season 4 we see Kui Mulang together with a captured Ao Lie. So maybe in LMK it was Ao Lie who got captured...which in my opinion would probably be a better reason for Wukong to come back, because LMK seems to imply that the two of them were friends and Wukong probably didn't really care for Sanzang at that moment. (Granted this was in the Memory Scroll so who know if that even actually happened)
But then again these two kidnappings could also have happened seperatly because in JTTW Kui Mulang is married to the maiden he lost in LMK...but we'll ignore that.
(** also i just noticed, if Wukong got banished in LMK too and went back to Flower Fruit Mountain...that would mean he still found it burnt down and was livid but I can't help but wonder if he questioned where Macaque was? Because LMK makes it seem like Macaque joined the Brotherhood at Camel Ridge after their argument under the Mountain so...you think Wukong thought about that? Because now I'm thinking about it)
Then we come to Red Son's arc...things start getting tricky here. In JTTW Red Boy uses the Samadhi Fire to hurt Wukong prompting him to get help from Guanyin.
Guanyin then brings an ocean's worth of water with her, which does happen in LMK.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tang recalls this event during the episode "Dumpling Destruction" if i remembrer correctly. He also mentions that he doesn't remember which demon Wukong fought during that time, meaning in LMK's version it most likely wasn't because of Red Son.
(Also this could just be because Tang is telling the story, but in the first image you can see Wukong in his usual attire, not the one he wears during the journey. He also doesn't have the circlet on, which, even if this is Tang's interpretation, Wukong should still have that but we'll come back to that later.)
So let's say this event occured because of a different demon, that than begs the question: when was the sealing of the Samadhi Fire?
If it was, let's say, shortly after the Guanyin thing that would mean Wukong meets DBK (and consequently PIF) before he and the pilgrims reach the Burning Mountain which technically should put him in the Bull Family's good graces, I'd argue. But in JTTW neither PIF nor DBK trust him during that time so i don't know if that would make sense.
But the whole Burning Mountain arc itself sort of wouldn't make sense in LMK because PIF and DBK's relationship is actually functional here so...
Tumblr media
And Wukong is - yet again - not wearing the circlet during the sealing of the fire.
"Amnesia Rules" also doesn't make this any easier because during his amnesiac state Wukong doesn't question why there's no torture crown on his head...but he also confuses a stick with his staff so he was probably just out of it in general.
Then there's the matter of Macaque's death and the impriosonment of the Brotherhood.
I'm gonna say that after Macaque split from the Brotherhood he died around the same time as in JTTW (so after the Kingdom of Women arc).
After that should be the Burning Mountains thing but...again wouldn't make a lot of sense if that was after the Samadhi Fire thing so...eh.
Some time after Macaque died the Brotherhood should have gotten sealed away.
Tumblr media
Which - and this might be a long shot - but maybe that's why Wukong looks so...stoic when he had to fight the Brotherhood. Because his best friend just died and now he has to deal with his other former friends who are working on taking him out...
Tumblr media
(I know this isn't technically a flashback but it is how Azure remembers Wukong being like during their fight. Stoic, kinda emotionless in general...just not exactly giving off cheeky-mischievious-Monkey-King Vibes like in...almost every other fight except LBD (looks a lot like posessed Wukong tho))
Just an emotional rollercoaster all around, I suppose.
But then again, when fighting the Brotherhood he wears the circlet, so that obviously happened during the journey.
Which can't be said about the other stuff because he isn't wearing the circlet this is driving me nuts!
But the Samadhi Fire can't have happened after the journey because during "Amnesia Rules" Wukong already knows about the four rings while thinking they're still going to the western heaven so obviously that must have happened during the journey.
BUT THEN WHY ISN'T HE WEARING THE CIRCLET THEN BUT HE'S WEARING IT DURING AN EVENT THAT HAPPENS YEARS LATER??
Don't even get me started on the Xiangliu thing. In season 5 he says that him and Wukong are old enemies and according to JTTW that's true because Wukong fights the Nine Headed Beast because Xiangliu and his father in law are conspiring or something so yeah. Wukong should know the guy.
That...doesn't explain why Xiangliu called him an old friend as well or why Wukong doesn't remember him. But honestly not important right now because all that does is fuck up the timeline even more.
That should have happened after the Brotherhood got sealed away. I'd theorize, because I have some far fetched theories, but this is exhausting to think about.
I just want answers...please

Another question, how many times was swk kicked off the journey and why?
Wukong was kicked out of the group first in the White Bone Demon Arc, I would say that this was about a year or so into their journey together, and at this point, they have had only three adventures. The burning of the Abbey, the Yellow Wind Demon, and the Ginseng Fruit Arc. To me, it's important to know which arc has led up to the telling arc so that we can have a better understanding of where people might be with trust.
Wukong can tell White Bone Spirit is a demon right away and while he was going to kill her Sanzang tried to give her the benefit of the doubt as she hasn't actually harmed them in any way. Wukong accused him of just wanting to sleep with her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So already not off to a good start.
This leads to the three killings and both of them butting heads over who is right and wrong. Is it right for Wukong to kill someone that has yet to harm them only because he knows she is a demon but his journeymates cannot tell or is it right for them to have to wait for a wrong to be committed to retaliate in the first place?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, I think that since neither Wujing nor Bajie has seen the Fillet Tighening Spell at this point they were not aware of its effects since they were only away of what it could do in the Ginseng Fruit arc, and even then I don't think Bajie believed it until now, similar to how he didn't really believe Bailong was a dragon under his horse disguise until the Yellow Robe arc when he first spoke.
Tumblr media
That isn't to excuse their actions but the main reason I believe that Bajie was trying to get back at Wukong for the perverse uncounted where he was strung up in a tree by Guanyin at the start of the Ginseng Fruit arc and other deities due to Wukong's pushing for him to get married. At least I believe he thought this was a sting-for-a-strong kind of revenge.
Bajie was the one to tell Sanzang that Wukong might be lying for the sake to kill humans which sadly at this point isn't too far out there due to his persistence to kill humans at the Burning of the Abbey. Wukong doesn't kill humans because he has to, he has shown that when he killed those seven bandits that attacked him and Sanzang at the start of the book as well. He kills humans because he believes they deserve to die and he is the one to do it. It is not out of need, he wants to kill them if they get in his way.
Again I think that because of these past actions have clouded Sanzang's judgment to believe Wukong because he is 100% in the right that she was a demon trying to kidnap him. But he has seen Wukong treat humans and demons the same way, and with no help of Bajie, is making choices out of anger rather than logic. Needless to say, there hasn't been a lot of good blood so far, I really think that Sanzang would believe him if Bajie didn't keep making excuses.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This all came to a head when Sanzang really thinks that Wukong isn't going to change his stance on killing people, whether it be his own lack of ability to teach or that Wukong finds human life of little value he sends Wukong away. He doesn't even bother with the spell on the third killing just for him to go.
After that is it the Yellow Robe arc where Wujing is captured, Sanzang gets turned into a tiger and almost hunted to death, Bailong is out of commission and only Bajie is left standing.
And he has to be the one to get Wukong back. Which he does leading to Sanzang being very grateful and they move on to the journey.
Tumblr media
From there about seven years pass or so, and they are about 8 or 9 years into the journey when the Six-Eared Macaque Arc begins, so a little over halfway with about 6 or 5 years to go. I think he has used the spell only once when the Hundred-Eyed Demon was pretending to be Sanzang as well and Wukong told him to recite it so he knows which one to kill.
From there it is a little bit more direct why he got banished it's more to do with how he treated both the living and the dead.
I think what people again miss is that when it comes to humans, Wukong isn't facing other demons that can fight with him toe-to-toe in magic. Wukong has so many abilities to subdue that he has don't with other deities and demons, putting them to sleep, making them immovable, tying them up, he can stop humans and scare them off without killing the for the sake of protecting Sanzang. But he wants to kill them because he thinks they deserve to die anyway, which goes against their whole thing about showing mercy.
Instead, Wukong explains how it's actually Sanzang's fault that he has to kill so many humans. That if it wasn't for him and this mission that there would be so many people alive, and who cares about some petty thieves or scum bandits, they would have died anyway so he was just speeding up the process. This is ironic to me because Wukong who was also sent to be executed was giving mercy to have a second chance as well but he wavers in some cases when he thinks others deserve a chance at redemption as well.
Tumblr media
From there it is a little bit more direct why he got banished it's more to do with how he treated both the living and the dead.
They were staying at a family's house and they claim that their son has done great evil as a bandit, a bandit that the pilgrims have already met and Wukong killed their leader. When the bandit came home and saw them he wanted to get revenge and kill them in their sleep. His family let the pilgrim get away so that no one would get hurt but they were still chased after.
Tumblr media
Wukong makes the choice of killing the rest of the bandits and I think that maybe, perhaps he wouldn't have been banished this time if he didn't go to the trouble of cutting off the head of the family's son and presenting it as a trophy. But Sanzang let his anger get the best of him and sent him away without trying to talk it out.
Tumblr media
He goes to Guanyin because he didn't want to face the shame of going home but she tells him to wait until Sanzang has cooled off his anger to see reasons again and rather asked him with his powers why he couldn't have shown mercy to the bandits (like a good teacher does).
Tumblr media
I think that is why the Six-Eared Macaque arc shows the real turning point with how not only Wukong behaves but Sanzang as well. Wukong is fighting his inner demons over here but Sanzang has to learn not to let his anger and emotions not to get the best of him. He is too quick to judge and needs to find out more about the whys in how people act rather than taking it at face value.
Tumblr media
These are defiantly the worst point for either character as it highlights their worst traits and I hate to think of them as the most common examples whenever people think of Journey to the West when there are nearly 15 other arcs showing how they both change and grow throughout their journey.
There is a lot more to be said with how Sanzang is seen in more of a Confucianism mindset in later interactions to give Wukong more good qualities in comparison as the story of Xuanzang changes more and more throughout time. But also Wukong's representation of both control and freedom and the balance of the two to make a cohesive narrative within the story.
There is so much more that can be said but I think I'll wrap it up here.

I felt like delving more into the ShadowKaiju ship i.e Kafka Hibino x Macaque. Why? For the hell of it honestly. This is a summary in how I would portray the relationship between both characters and will include influences from their respective franchise. Let's get started.
The two first meet when Kafka is around 22 years old. He's getting after a late night shift only to notice something off in the alleyway near his apartment. Kafka finds Macaque bleeding out with a fresh slice across his eye.
The man hesitates for a second as he doesn't know what the strange monkey creature is but decides to help him. Macaque later wakes up extremely confused since he's supposed to be dead, his wounds treated and he's in a very unfamiliar home of a mortal man. (Basically his death in JTTW drops him into KN8verse instead.)
This is their budding relationship in a nutshell: local working man is constantly stalked by curious mischief making shadow monkey. Macaque refuses to leave Kafka alone after his wounds are healed. The man's shadow now has a constant occupant that takes awhile for him to get used to.
Macaque thankfully doesn't interfere with his job as a Monster Sweeper. Sometimes the yaoguai even helps in secret. Hide that was difficulty to cut suddenly gives way in seconds, once empty disposal units are completely full and other discrepancies. Although Kafka didn't question if any surprise bite marks on the latest kaiju corpse were from Macaque.
He's confused why the shadow monkey chose to stick around but figures the bloke might be seeking companionship. Plus Macaque hasn't really crossed any lines yet. Yup, they were roommates if the extra futon Kafka bought was enough evidence.
The moment Macaque finds out his mortal companion wants to join the Defense Force is when another failed letter comes in the mail. He was confused at first until Kafka explains what the DF is and the promise he made to Mina. Macaque stays out of it for awhile.
The promise reminded too much about his former best friend/killer. It's only Kafka's determination to take the test again does Macaque decided to extend a hand. He offers to help train the man so he could attain his goal. (You can bet your ass it was brutal since this is Macaque.)
Despite the continuous failures of each exam, the monkey yaoguai didn't give up on Kafka. Rooted feelings had continue to blossom over the years until a 25 year old Kafka confesses. Those shared emotions were mutual much to his relief. Both began dating each other for another two years before marrying.
While Kafka works as a Monster Sweeper, Macaque runs a Shadow Play Theatre under a human disguise. Only the former's coworkers know what the latter really is. (Both had a discussion about it before bringing it up to them. The Monster Sweepers wholeheartedly support the two. Reno finds out after Kafka becomes a Kaiju.)
Macaque is quite a possessive lover of Kafka and isn't shy about proving his claim. Those who foolishly flirt or try to harass his mortal husband are met with terrifying shadows speaking in ancient Chinese until they retreat. Kafka smothers his partner with love and just spoils the latter whenever.
Macaque is extra protective of his lover after he becomes a kaiju. He nips any negative thoughts Kafka has about himself in the bud. Macaque isn't even human to begin with so why would he see his lover's new kaiju side as a problem? Teaching Kafka glamour magic would make hiding any flare ups or a potential permanent transformation easier to conceal.
Macaque may have a developed a habit of perching onto his lover's back whenever he is Kaiju No 8. The added height and horns make it easier to hold on(alongside do much more.😏) Kafka has a better understanding of his new kaiju half thanks to Macaque.
Changes that occurred during the Entrance exam due to his husband. Release Power: 2% and higher written test scores. Macaque was annoyed that Kafka didn't have a chance to fully use the suit.(He may have sent a letter to the Defense Force about an extra testing ground aka a Kikoru clause.)
New Defense Force officers notice the ring on the new cadet's finger while talking in the baths. Man had to throw off any accusation that he was married to/or trying to cheat with Mina. They were old friends and he will remain faithful to his husband. Kafka learns the boys are eager for any kind of gossip about the "old man's love life".
A disguised Macaque often shows up to deliver lunch to his lover or give him something, he gotten a visitor's pass just in case. Doesn't mean hitchhiking Kafka's shadows days are over. He can easily have a few shadow clones manage the theatre and their home in his place.
These two are chaotic lovers wherever than just whenever. Now if Macaque finds his theatre full of Kafka's Defense Coworkers then he won't be surprised. Only Reno has free tickets though as the Monster Sweepers took the remaining ones. (Macaque was definitely amused when Kafka troed to defend himself for 'favoritism' by the younger officers*mostly Iharu*.)

Lego Monkie Kid Pride Headcanons!! Part 1, because there's probably more.
DISCLAIMER: I'm aware many of these will probably contradict, but so do mine and the rules are meaningless to me so! Live with the contradictions! I may also add multiple like, separate headcanons, in which I will indicate with a little |. Also if I'm typing super formal I'm on my laptop and I'm usually on mobile, so being on my laptop makes me type extra formal sometimes for. Reasons.
MK - Transgender woman, non-binary, guy, unlabeled gay bisexual, she/he/it. The type of guy to answer 'okay but what gender are you' with 'cookie'.
Mei - Genderqueer transgender woman, lesbian bisexual/unlabeled, she/they/her.
Sandy - Genderflux cis male genderqueer, aromantic demisexual, he/him.
Tang - Cis male, aromantic gay, he/him. Platonically married to Pigsy.
Pigsy - Cis male, biromantic heterosexual, he/him. Platonically married to Tang.
Wukong - Pangender genderfluid demiromantic pansexual, any pronouns (neos included), but most people just assume he/him and he really doesn't care. Used to be in a weird not-platonic not-qpr not-romantic thing with Macaque.
Macaque - Transgender man, demiromantic biromantic asexual, he/him. Used to be in a weird not-platonic not-qpr not-romantic thing with Wukong.
Yeah, I told you the rules were being thrown all the way out the window here. While I'm here, I may as well say that if you're aromantic, asexual, multigender, use contradictory labels, use neopronouns, aromantic allosexual and vice versa, or anything else along those lines my bad memory isn't letting me think of right now, you're awesome, you're great, you're loved (by me if no one else), and you're welcome here!
Rambling under the cut
(Too many tags so I'm basically just transferring them so that's why this might be formatted weirdly.)
I think MK's probably had about 20 gender crisis' by now that Pigsy and Sandy have just kinda made him tea/noodles through.
Mei just keeps trying stuff, and when she sees something works if she still thinks something's missing she goes HERE WE GO AGAIN! And nobody is surprised when she walks in going "I'm trying cat/cats" and everyone just kinda goes "cool" and adheres to that until halfway through the conversation she goes "nope, not feeling that one" and they all switch back.
Pigsy and Tang don't really understand the gender stuff but take the mentality of "I don't understand this and that's okay, y'know as long as you're happy", even though they trip up sometimes. They don't completely get it but they still love the way MK's face lights up when they call say "Hey, what's she doing?" or "Is it watching TV again?". Also my brain isn't working properly so I might change what Pigsy's label is because I messed it up twice.
I think Wukong didn't really know what gender was until MK asked and helped Wukong start looking through labels, and when Wukong was like "can I just have all of the genders?" MK went "yeah!" and now Wukong just kinda walks around with the label even though he doesn't really mention it.
I think Macaque just woke up when he was young(?) one day, went "fuck this", turned himself into a boy, walked outside, and never addressed it again, and Wukong is the only one that knows and also never addressed it.
Okay I'll stop rambling now sorry bye!

Continuation:
101. The Celestial Realm has a mental hospital: the Heavenly Hospital for Criminally Insane Deities and Immortals. It was established via decree of the Jade Emperor at the behest of Èrláng Shén, but before passing this law, there was a lot of dispute about the requirements for institutionalisation between the Jade Emperor and his advisors.
102. The Jade Emperor wanted to make political opposition a requirement for being admitted to the hospital for criminally insane deities and immortals, but was dissuaded from doing so by Nézhā, who informed him, that a surprising number of Celestials actually disapproved of many imperial decrees and that putting them all in the hospital would lead to overcrowding, disaster and even more opposition.
103. Áo Bĭng was resurrected shortly after Nézhā was. The reason? The Jade Emperor grew tired of Áo Guāng justifying his hateboner for Nézhā with the murder of his son and ordered for the Third Prince of the East Sea to be resurrected, just so Áo Guāng would finally SHUT UP!!!
104. After their resurrection, Nézhā apologised to Áo Bĭng, but it took almost a millennium, until they were on speaking terms. Then they became friends, grew ever closer and closer and after over 1800 years more, they fell in love and became a couple, soon to be married.
105. Èrláng Shén is unhappy about his adopted son wanting to get married, but he has learned his lesson about opposing his loved ones' relationships, so he just sucked it up and gave his blessing to make Nézhā happy. (Nézhā knows his dad isn't really happy about it, though, because Èrláng isn't remotely as subtle as he thinks he is)
106. When Golden Cicada gave their magical treasures to Yùdĭng Zhēnrén, they asked him to give them to none other than their 10th reincarnation. Accordingly, Yùdĭng Zhēnrén guarded the magical umbrella and lantern like his own for over 500 years, until the Buddha of Sandalwood Merit came to get his treasures back. They had some tea, chatted a little and Xuánzàng told a few things about himself, while Yùdĭng shared some wholesome stories from way back when Golden Cicada was still his disciple. By the time Xuánzàng left, both were happy and fast friends (again).
107. After Chénxiāng defeated and severely wounded his uncle and freed his mother, the Buddha of Sandalwood Merit took the wounded god in and nursed him back to health (he had to explain himself first and remind Chénxiāng of how "universal compassion" works). But he also didn't miss the opportunity to scold Èrláng Shén like no tomorrow, for being such a cruel brother and uncle.
108. After giving up her god status, Sānshèng Mŭ spent the rest of her mortal life hoping her brother would come and apologise to her, so they could reconcile before she passed on. Meanwhile Èrláng couldn't face her again and thought she didn't want to see him. So Yáng Chán died without an apology, and Èrláng never knew he'd blown his chance to make peace with his sister. This is just another point on Chénxiāng's "Why I hate my uncle" list.
109. Èrláng Shén has made a habit of killing Celestials who piss him off, and selling their organs on the black market. He doesn't have money troubles, he just thinks that if those people couldn't be useful in life, at least they should be in death.
110. Liù'ěr Míhóu has a lot of do-not-touch-days, due to his trauma. On those days no one is allowed to touch him, except maybe Tripitaka, because the Macaque has grown to trust him unconditionally.
111. Sūn Wùkōng doesn't know how to feel about the stories of him having actual children of his own (beside his subjects, who he considers his grandchildren). On one hand he loves kids, on the other hand he considers the family he has already quite a handful.
112. Golden Cicada looks very breakable with their golden carapace, but their exoskeleton is unbreakable, their insect wings have razor sharp edges and they can utilise their cicada song as a weapon.
113. One of Èrláng Shén's sworn brothers, Yáo Gōnglín, suffers from a congenital heart condition, that even immortality couldn't fix. He gets medication from Laozi to keep his heart from blowing up, but Èrláng constantly has to remind him to actually take it. Sometimes Yáo Gōnglín calls Èrláng a mother-hen for that.
114. Sūn Wùkōng's stalward generals very reluctantly allowed Èrláng Shén on Flowerfruit Mountain twice to help build a few hydraulic mechanisms as compensation for the fire. But only if he came as a monkey. This is how they found out, that Sichuan snub-nosed monkeys are fucking adorable (no, they haven't forgiven him, the cuteness just softened them up enough to tolerate his presence for a few hours).
115. Èrláng Shén is lactose-intolerant. That has never stopped him from consuming dairy products, if they looked delicious enough. In his opinion a nice cake or tart is totally worth the stomach ache and diarrhea.
116. Tripitaka has a terrifying angry face. Liù'ěr Míhóu claims it's the scariest one he's ever seen from someone, who doesn't have long and sharp canines. The disciples and their disciples just call it "THE STARE".
117. Liù'ěr Míhóu loves milk. It's his favourite food, aside from apples.
118. Èrláng Shén has a habit of hacking the phones of people who mildly annoy him, and changing their ringtones to really annoying ones.
119. Sūn Wùkōng and Èrláng Shén are addicted to fighting each other in immortal combat. While both are asexual, they get an almost sexual thrill out of it. Sūn Wùkōng finds Èrláng's bloodlust and battle-hunger enrapturing, while Èrláng Shén loves being able to go all out in a fight.
120. Áo Guāng still has a hateboner for Nézhā. 3100 years after the whole dragon slayer thing.
121. Áo Bĭng finds it stupid and tiresome, that his father is still angry about that, but he's too filial to say it out loud.
122. Èrláng Shén and Liú Chénxiāng are on tentative speaking terms. Liú Chénxiāng isn't forgiving his uncle for anything, but after 1300 years he's tired of still being defined by his childhood trauma. Upon seeing that his uncle was genuinely regretful, he chose to give him the benefit of the doubt in form of one last chance to make things right and doing better. Meanwhile Èrláng is terrified of messing that chance up again.
123. Èrláng Shén is arachnophobic.
124. Sūn Wùkōng is very talented in poetry and enjoys writing poems of all kinds. But he has zero talent for painting, which he often laments about - especially when he wants to capture a beautiful moment (or the beauty of a certain three-eyed god).
125. Tripitaka is slightly stronger than an average mortal, but he's not aware of it. It's how he can pick up Sūn Wùkōng (a literal stone monkey) with ease.
126. Every time Chénxiāng gets upset, Nézhā shows him video clips of Èrláng Shén being silly. It always works.
127. Èrláng Shén adores his sworn brothers with all his heart. They and their loyalty and deep care for him mean the world to him, and he would do anything for them. Even if they - like real siblings - really go on his nerves sometimes.
128. When Èrláng Shén became sworn brothers with the other six Sages of Méishān, he came out to them as a trans man. They accepted him as a man without question or hesitation and that was when he knew he wanted them to be by his side forever. So he found a way to make them immortal.
129. Sūn Wùkōng still has trauma from the fillet. Every time Tripitaka gets angry, Sūn Wùkōng gets scared. Even when it's not him Tripitaka is angry at.
130. While the Jade Emperor often dreams about having a son, he doesn't plan to get a concubine, as he's outrageously horny for Xìwángmŭ. It's kind of a "I wouldn't mind you crushing me, but PLEASE DO" kind of thing.
131. Èrláng Shén is autistic, but the one time he saw a psychiatrist, it was a bad experience; so he never visited one again and never got a diagnosis. Unfortunately the social ineptitude that comes with it clashes with his monophobia. So he often has to pick the lesser evil between exhausting interactions with other people and the crippling fear of being all on his own.
JTTW/Chinese mythology ideas
(A/N: Decided to finally make a list for this one too. Do these things make sense? No. Is it in any way close to canon? Also no. Will that stop me? Absolutely not. Also, I would like to establish that not all (or even most) of these are headcanons. Some are heartcanons, gutcanons, junkcanons and spleencanons. This list will be expanded, as I think of new ideas. Just keep in mind, that pretty much all of this is pulled out of my butt.)
1. Sūn Wùkōng has a slightly scratchy voice from five-hundred years of being fed molten copper and iron pellets, as well as the previous 49 mortal years of being cooked in a furnace.
2. Tripitaka is traumatised from his mother's suicide, his first two companions' deaths and the constant kidnapping and attempted murder and/or sexual harassment. After so much trauma and with having to parent several powerful and crazy demons and a dragon, he's become jaded.
3. Tripitaka was eighteen, when he learned of his family, and twenty, when he was recruited by Guān Yīn.
4. Sūn Wùkōng is a little self conscious about his body, since he was cooked in the furnace and pressed under the mountain and burned by Hóng Hái'er's True Samadhi Fire. To his subjects he's still the Handsome Monkey King though.
5. After being exposed, Liù'ěr Míhóu was given the option by the Buddha to either join the Tang Monk on the Journey along with the other disciples or be reincarnated into hell for his crimes. He chose the former. Tripitaka gave him the Dharma name Sūn Wùhuàn, though the others sometimes still call him Liù'ěr Míhóu (that's just Chinese for "Six-Eared Macaque").
6. Liù'ěr Míhóu is transgender with body dysphoria. He's absolutely miserable with his female body, but he can't hide it without shapeshifting, as his voice gives him away. He's also prone to delusions and dissociation by the time he joins the Journey. It doesn't get much better, but the other pilgrims learn to deal with it relatively quickly.
7. Èrláng Shén is transgender as well, but he goes to great lengths to hide, that his body is biologically female. Not because he has dysphoria (he doesn't), but because he hates the way he's treated by most people once they find out he's trans-masc. That and he can't stand people looking at his chest, when it's unbound.
8. Shā Wùjìng is super affectionate to his brothers and master. The affection is reciprocated, because they love their friendly, sensible formerly-maneating giant fish man.
9. Liù'ěr Míhóu has been sexually assaulted and forcibly impregnated many times in the past. Of the resulting children only one was allowed to live, because the Macaque either miscarried or aborted the rest. It's also a primary cause of his madness.
10. The surviving child (a monkey-fox hybrid) was left in the care of a significantly more sane friend, who happened to be the sister of one of the Wŭdàxiān.
11. Some primate species eat their dead in times of famine. The Six-Eared Macaque uses that as an excuse for eating that one dead monkey. Sūn Wùkōng and Tripitaka are having none of that bs.
12. Bái Lóng Mă is the first of the Pilgrims to befriend the Six-Eared Macaque and then becomes super protective, after he finds out what happened to him. In kind he becomes the Macaque's favourite brother.
13. Sūn Wùkōng is asexual demiromantic. Tripitaka and Liù'ěr Míhóu are both aro-ace. Zhū Bājiè is a straight ally. Shā Wùjìng is pan, but abstinent. Bái Lóng Mă is bi.
14. At first Tripitaka was delighted about having been one of the disiples of the Buddha Himself once. But after being the 10th reincarnation of Golden Cicada has gotten him into so much trouble, he's grown to hate it and loathes being addressed as "Golden Cicada".
15. Before Golden Cicada converted to Buddhism, they were an immortal cicada spirit, who had cultivated immortality under Yùdĭng Zhēnrén. They were a senior disciple, when the Yáng siblings showed up and quickly befriended the two.
16. Golden Cicada can switch from picture perfect Buddhist disciple to sassy spirit willing to throw hands. When they were a Taoist disciple under Yùdĭng Zhēnrén, they'd also sometimes chirp all night, just to annoy the younger disciples.
17. Golden Cicada had the ability to see the future. As such they weren't shocked to be sentenced to reincarnation by the Buddha for their disrespect, but it still hit them hard, because just like in the old school, they had grown attached to the other disciples and their master.
18. The Buddha has a lot of patience, but he takes no shit.
19. When Tripitaka becomes the Buddha of Sandalwood Merit, he regains all the memories from his past lives, including that of Golden Cicada. He also (re)gains the ability to shapeshift and fly and develops a few quirks Golden Cicada had in life.
20. Zhū Bājiè is still a little butt-hurt about becoming "only" an altar cleanser- Pff, nah, just kidding, he's fine. He's more upset, that he still looks like a boar.
21. Zhū Bājiè still flirts with women, but by now he has internalised the benefits of mutual consent.
22. Shā Wùjìng becomes the Golden-Bodied Arhat at the end of the novel, but decides to keep his demonic appearance most of the time, so he will never forget where he came from and as a reminder to be humble. His brothers still call him "Old Shā" or "Wùjìng".
23. Despite redeeming himself and becoming an Arhat, Shā Wùjìng is still shunned by the Celestial Realm. He is a bit sad about still being treated as a monster, but has long concluded, that this is just their pride talking.
24. Shā Wùjìng is still a capable fighter, but he's uncomfortable around swords. The reason is that, before he became a Buddhist, one of his punishments from Heaven involved being stabbed by a hundred swords every day, if he didn't stay in his river.
25. Bái Lóng Mă becomes a Golden Celestial Dragon of the Eight Classes of Supernatural Beings, but the others just affectionately call him "Gold". He's still a bit unhinged, but doesn't set things on fire anymore.
26. Sūn Wùkōng returns to his mountain after becoming the Buddha Victorious in Strife, but he often has his brothers over for tea and, about a hundred years after the Journey, takes Liù Chénxiāng (the nephew of Èrláng Shén) in as a disciple.
27. Liù'ěr Míhóu is given the title of "True Person of True Hearing" at the end of the story (making him the only one, who didn't become a Buddha or Bodhisattva). Tathagata informs him, that he joined the prilgrimage too late to make up for his terrible crimes, but he does give him magic transition surgery and promises to reward him in the future (provided the Macaque keeps working on bettering himself, of course).
28. Liù'ěr Míhóu specialises in helping vengeful ghosts. He restores their conscience and memory and if that's not enough to free them, he takes them in as disciples, until they're ready to reincarnate. On the side he clears up misunderstandings. A few centuries after the pilgrimage, Tathagata awards him the title "Bodhisattva Discerning Ghostly Speech" for his merit.
29. The Pilgrims are on the height of modern times. Getting phones and laptops was the Six-Eared Macaque's idea, because he was sick of having to write to his siblings and friends, while they can just talk into the wind and he'll hear it (Tripitaka didn't get a laptop until the COVID-19 pandemic rolled around and he couldn't hold his seminars in person anymore).
30. Liù'ěr Míhóu is getting therapy and taking medication to combat his mental instability. But his friends often have to accompany him to the hospital for check-ups.
31. Tripitaka/the Buddha of Sandalwood Merit and Èrláng Shén become friends after the Journey. Having obtained Buddhahood, Xuánzàng now remembers that they were friends in a past life and hopes to catch up and help Èrláng move on from his grief over Golden Cicada's death.
32. The real form of Xiàotiān Quǎn (Èrláng Shén's dog) is a giant heavenly dog the size of a large horse, but he has a smaller energy save mode in form of an albino Tibetan Spaniel.
33. Xiàotiān is extremely protective and affectionate towards his master. Èrláng Shén is also extremely protective of his dog and will brutally murder anyone, who tries to hurt him.
34. Nézhā becomes friends with Sūn Wùkōng throughout the Journey and they develop a brotherly bond. They also do brotherly things, like fighting about who is the older one. Spoiler: Nézhā is more than 500 years older (Èrláng Shén being about a thousand years older than Nézhā).
35. Sūn Wùkōng has let go of his anger by the time the modern era rolls around, but he's still waiting for an apology from Èrláng for the mountain fire.
36. Èrláng deeply regrets everything he did, but he can't properly apologise for major things.
37. During his fight with his uncle, Chénxiāng accidentally absorbed the Lotus Lantern and became immortal. He didn't realise the latter, until years later. He was not happy about it.
38. Sūn Wùkōng isn't Chénxiāng's only teacher, but the one he's closest to. He and Chénxiāng have a father-son-relationship. That includes dad jokes (much to Chénxiāng's dismay).
39. Very few people know that Chénxiāng became immortal and is still alive. Chénxiāng made them swear not to tell anyone, because he doesn't want to be found by certain people. Most of the time he's not even in China.
40. After being freed, Sānshèng Mŭ gave up her divinity to live a normal mortal life with her husband. Chénxiāng was overwhelmed with grief, after his parents eventually died of old age, while he was forever young. After his parents' death he moved back to Sūn Wùkōng for a while, before leaving to see the world.
41. At some point in the modern age, Nézhā had a falling out so bad, he decided he wanted a new legal surname, like, NOW. He asked Èrláng Shén to adopt him - much to the latter's consternation, as Èrláng is still haunted by his past mistakes and doesn't grasp how Nézhā could possibly see him as a parental figure. But Nézhā eventually softened Èrláng up and now his surname is Yáng.
42. Little does Èrláng realise, that Nézhā had already sneakily adopted him as a dad centuries earlier. Mostly because Èrláng respects him more and treats him better than his father and most other Celestials do.
43. Èrláng Shén has an unspoken crush on Sūn Wùkōng. He's not planning to do anything about the "unspoken" part, mainly because he's repressed and believes that love brings nothing but pain and misfortune and should never be indulged; and he also thinks it would be insulting to just walk up the the Monkey King and profess his feelings (considering the environmental destruction and genocide).
44. Yùdĭng Zhēnrén is extremely protective of each of his disciples. But the moment one of them starts hurting another, he'll banish the culprit at best and kill them at worst.
45. Golden Cicada was also extremely protective of their younger brothers and sisters. As a senior disciple, they felt it was their obligation to take the kids under their wings. That attitude didn't change, when they changed masters and became the second disciple of the Buddha.
46. During Èrláng Shén's and Sānshèng Mŭ's training under Yùdĭng, a then 9yo Èrláng was touched inappropriately by one of the senior disciples (who happened to be their master's favourite at the time). He confided in Golden Cicada, who reported it to their master.
47. Golden Cicada remained friends with the Yáng siblings and many others for the rest of their life. The last thing they did before dying and reincarnating was say goodbye to all their friends.
48. Èrláng Shén has a drinking problem. He's trying to quit for Nézhā's sake, but recovering from alcoholism is hard and he occasionally relapses. Nézhā is of course not happy about the drinking, but he appreciates, that his dad is trying to stop.
49. Sūn Wùkōng didn't know he was one of four Primates of Havoc, until he met the Six-Eared Macaque and the Buddha explained everything. Once the Macaque stopped being a villainous dickhead, the Monkey King was eager to meet the other two Primates. So Liù'ěr Míhóu introduced him to them.
50. The Red-Buttocked Horse-Monkey (Chìkāo Măhóu) and Connected Arms Gibbon (Tōngbì Yuánhóu) were excited to meet a new Primate of Havoc.
51. Chìkāo Măhóu is a female Taiwanese macaque, who emerged from a tree struck by lightning. She has exceptional healing powers, a profound understanding of human affairs and yin and yang, is very adaptable and loves trolling the death deities in various ways. She also likes to gather philosophers, say something, then sit back and watch, as a philosophical debate devolves into petty fighting.
52. Chìkāo Măhóu cultivated immortality under an immortal, who specialises in healing and medicine and named her Zhìyù Zhīshǒu. But the other three Monkeys of Havoc just call her Chì.
53. Tōngbì Yuánhóu is a transfem Hainan black-crested gibbon, who hatched from an egg-shaped lump of gold, that melted during a firestorm. She used to live in mainland China, until deforestation destroyed her home. She can shorten great distances, seize the sun and moon, play with the stars and distinguish the auspicious and inauspicious.
54. Sometimes Tōngbì Yuánhóu bonds with Liù'ěr Míhóu over being critically endangered species (the latter being the only six-eared macaque in existence).
55. When the Jade Emperor began his reign, he was full of enthusiasm and eager to make the world a good place. But over time he grew bitter and began to make it everyone else's problem.
56. The Jade Emperor has a photo of Sūn Wùkōng pinned to his office wall, which is riddled with darts, because he uses it for target practice.
57. One thing Sūn Wùkōng and Èrláng Shén agree on is this: if anything were to happen to Nézhā, they would kill everyone in Heaven and then themselves (if they could).
58. When Sūn Wùkōng first read the novel and saw that the author knew who his master was, he freaked out. Fortunately, he wasn't hunted down by an angry Subodhi thinking the monkey had broken his word.
59. Yes, Subodhi knows about the book. Yes, he also knows that Sūn Wùkōng didn't tell anyone, that he was his master. That's why he was chill about it.
60. Xiàotiān Quǎn is incredibly smart. He possesses human-level intelligence. Xiàotiān can't speak, but he can read traditional and simplified Chinese and has an excellent memory.
61. All four Monkeys of Havoc were born around the same time and are around 2500 years old.
62. Liù'ěr Míhóu can understand and speak all languages that exist, have existed or will exist in the future. But until he joins the Pilgrims, he could neither read nor write any of them. When Tripitaka learned this, he sat him down and taught him how to read and write.
63. Tàiyĭ Zhēnrén encourages Nézhā's goblin energy and feralness. Why? Because his adorable, sweet student, who can do no wrong, should be allowed to be free and- just kidding, the truth is, he's secretly a feral goblin himself.
64. The Pilgrims (including Liù'ěr Míhóu) are all super protective of one another. Even Tripitaka has a protective mode.
65. Tripitaka's protective mode is activated, when his disciples get sexually harassed (usually Liù'ěr Míhóu, given his feminine voice and appearance) and manifests in Tripitaka chewing the harasser out, until they run away crying. Ever since unlocking this particular skill, he has pulled no punches.
66. After Tripitaka was rescued from the Scorpion demoness, he told his disciples, that all that had happened was forward flirting on her part. He didn't tell them, that she actually assaulted him. Only Liù'ěr Míhóu knows, but Tripitaka made him swear not to tell anyone.
67. The Buddha prefers to teach his disciples how to let go of fleeting things piece by piece on their own, as he has seen first hand how traumatising it is for some people to suddenly be separated from everything they hold dear in this world.
68. When Sūn Wùkōng is overwhelmed, he flails his arms and speaks in monkey. People get confused.
69. Chénxiāng often visits Sūn Wùkōng on his island to check on his old teacher and catch up. He also introduced him to modern tech. A decision he now deeply regrets, because his teacher keeps sending him monkey memes.
70. Xiàotiān Quǎn was gifted to Èrláng Shén by Golden Cicada. After learning, that Èrláng had made a vow of celibacy, Golden Cicada thought, he still should have a loyal companion to shower with love and care to his heart's content, so they gave him a puppy.
71. Èrláng Shén doesn't know, that Xiàotiān Quǎn possesses the intelligence of an adult human. Partly, because Xiàotiān is perfectly happy being pampered, but mainly because Xiàotiān decided the best way to take care of his owner is to be undercover. He's really good at the "no thoughts, head empty" charade.
72. Liù'ěr Míhóu can hear pretty much everything, but it took him a while to learn to distinguish between truth and falsehood.
73. Bái Lóng Mă never forgave his father for almost getting him executed over accidentally setting something on fire, and completely cut ties with his birth family after becoming the Celestial Dragon Bodhisattva. He instead focussed his compassion and empathy on all beings mistreated and disowned by their family.
74. After banishing Shā Wùjìng to the Mortal Realm, the Jade Emperor got himself a new Courtain-Lifting General. But there actually are deities in Heaven, that still call Shā Wùjìng by his old title. Shā Wùjìng has mixed feelings about that.
75. Golden Cicada was an incredibly skilled warrior and possessed several potent magical weapons: an umbrella that can sap the magic of whoever they use it on, and a magical lantern. Before passing on, they gave the umbrella and the lantern to their old master, knowing he'd keep them safe. Golden Cicada also created the Lotus Lantern as a gift to Sānshèng Mŭ, after she became a goddess.
76. Golden Cicada could have become a Taoist deity, but rejected godhood, because they - just like their master - disdained the Heaven that treated their best friends so cruelly.
77. The Buddha of Sandalwood Merit sometimes jests about how he used to be the youngest of his friends and now, that he is truly one with Golden Cicada, he's in a way older than most of them.
78. Èrláng Shén has mixed feelings about how Tàiyĭ Zhēnrén encourages Nézhā's chaos, but he doesn't want to upset Nézhā by telling him not to interact with his master.
79. Sānshèng Mŭ - being a (demi)goddess - is over a head taller than Liú Yànchāng. He's a proud simp for his (what in the 8th century would've been a) giant woman.
80. Guān Yīn's disciples Mùzhā and Hóng Hái'er agree on only one thing: Lóngnü is the best and sweetest little cinnamon roll, deserves only the best and must be protected at all cost.
81. Nézhā adores dogs and loves petting Xiàotiān Quǎn. In turn Xiàotiān has observed, that Nézhā is one of the few people who can make Èrláng smile, so the K-9 agent has made it his mission to help protect this kid.
82. The Wŭdàxiān (a group of five local zoomorphic deities revered in Northeastern China) once lived in the Celestial Realm, until Wūyāxiān was wrongfully accused of sexual assault. While the lie was found out, the culprit faced no repercussions and Wūyāxiān was asked to leave Heaven, despite being proven innocent. The other four Great Immortals (Húxiān, Huángxiān, Shéxiān and Báixiān) joined their friend in exile out of solidarity.
83. When Tripitaka isn't doing Buddha things, he just chills out with his friends. When out in public, he goes by his real name Chén Xuánzàng.
84. Báixiān (the Hedgehog Immortal) was in fact the Shīfù of Chìkāo Măhóu and the one, who named her Zhìyù Zhīshǒu. The two are very close and Zhìyù Zhīshǒu considers her a mother figure.
85. When Nézhā was resurrected by his master, something went wrong and he was reborn with the True Samadhi Fire. It caused him pain, until Èrláng Shén (also a wielder of the Samadhi Fire) taught him how to control it.
86. Èrláng calls Nézhā "Xiăolián", when they're alone. He came up with that nickname as soon as he realised he was attached to the kid. Nézhā - never having been given affectionate nicknames before - didn't know how to handle that at first and teared up the first time he was called that.
87. Even after the Yáng siblings became gods, Golden Cicada still called them "Xiăo Yáng" or "Jiăn'er" (Èrláng Shén) and "Chán'er" (Sānshèng Mŭ), which Èrláng found incredibly annoying.
88. Yùdĭng Zhēnrén hates Heaven. Like, really hates them. He also hates most Celestials, especially the Jade Emperor. Nobody knows why, because he refuses to explain. So he was furious, when Èrláng joined Heaven to become a god, and made it clear, that he never wanted to see him again, unless there's an emergency only Yùdĭng can handle (a very unlikely scenario in his eyes).
89. Tōngbì Yuánhóu and Chìkāo Măhóu prefer to stay under the radar and constantly move. They're so secretive, that Sūn Wùkōng didn't find out about them, until he was 1100 years old. Liù'ěr Míhóu found them through his hearing pretty quickly after he was born. Tōngbì Yuánhóu is the oldest of them and when they get together, she's usually the voice of reason.
90. Liù'ěr Míhóu is the tallest of the four Monkeys of Havoc and a few centimetres bigger than Sūn Wùkōng, which the latter finds incredibly annoying.
91. Guān Yīn and Cháng'é are friends with Èrláng Shén and have been for more than 3000 years. Guān Yīn became friends with him, because she could tell he needed one. Cháng'é first met Èrláng, when her husband introduced them to each other, and they became fast friends after Hou Yi's passing. Despite the three of them being so different from each other, they somehow make it work.
92. Out of the former Tang Monk's disciples, only Sūn Wùkōng and Sūn Wùhuàn have disciples of their own. Technically that makes Xuánzàng grandmaster, but his disciples' disciples sometimes secretly call him "grandpa", thinking he doesn't know. Xuánzàng didn't know how to deal with that at first, but eventually he accepted, that he had upgraded from tired single parent to proud grandparent.
93. Sūn Wùkōng knows about Èrláng Shén's feelings for him, but doesn't confront him about them out of pity. And as long as Èrláng doesn't do anything creepy and stalker-esque, he doesn't see the need to bring it up at all.
94. Èrláng Shén introduced Cháng'é to the Netflix movie "Over the Moon" and now he has to sing the heartbreaking duet with her every time he visits. At this point he's sick and tired of it, but he still humours her.
95. All demons and dragons can purr.
96. When Liù'ěr Míhóu joined the Pilgrims, Tripitaka had to get used to someone suddenly seeing through his facade and calling him out. But once they got along, they reached a mutual understanding and developed a very close bond (not romantically. No. Just no.). Zhū Bājiè got jealous, when he realised he was no longer their master's favoured disciple.
97. Once a Celestial warrior was dared to cut off some of Èrláng Shén's very long hair, while he was napping. The next morning, the Jade Emperor went for a stroll in his garden and found a body in his favourite duck pond. I think you can guess what happened.
98. Èrláng Shén hates Lĭ Jìng with a burning passion and has made it his life's mission to make the man as miserable as possible. Nézhā finds it hilarious.
99. Tripitaka has permanent spinal issues from that time Liù'ěr Míhóu knocked him out by hitting him on the back. They manifest as flashes of extreme pain, that render him unable to move. Guān Yīn gives him special painkillers to ease the aches, but cannot heal him, because the chronic pain is karmic punishment.
100. Yùdĭng Zhēnrén gave the Yáng twins the same training. Only change was that after Èrláng came out as a boy, both his and his sister's training became tougher.

Hi there! So I'm new-ish? And I'm genuinely curious about what you think of the popular lmk ships? I don't know if you ever said anything so that's why I'm asking!
Anyway have a great day!
Hello! Welcome!
I did say something about ships, but it's just me generally talking about how I'm not interested in any of them because i hate romance.
But! I don't mind speaking about them and stating my opinion over them. (I'll talk about the ones i know, which are the most popular ones probably.)
so, first we have spicynoodles, Red son x MK.
This ship is..eh. It has potential, but both characters don't seem to have much interest in dating, that's why I don't see them having that much interest into a relationship, especially when both are simply friends, they don't know each other too well.
Then we have dragonfruit, Mei x Red son.
I already talked about this ship, which is one of the best in my opinion, even if i don't ship it.
I just see them being in a good relationship, that's it.
They fit together, and they surely bonded more than MK did with red son.
Then the threesome! the street light ship, MK, red son and Mei.
I don't see this because again the whole MK and Red son thing, yeah.
And because MK showed that he has no interest fully in dating Mei, he even threw up in an episode when "mei" confessed to him!
shadowpeach Is.. interesting.
Considering canon, this ship would turn out to be toxic on Macaque side, and plus these two hate each other.
It's a ship which i don't mind seeing, it's just not my favorite. I prefer them acting like feral cats whenever they see each other rather than lovers.
Then we have the ship between the mayor and spynx (or whatever you spell his name, i never notice him LMAO), which..is kind of a random ship? As far as I know they interacted once and it wasn't even a conversation.
so I'm neutral on it.
there's this ship between spider queen and Macaque too i think, which is honestly cute?
they would only get along because both fuckin despite sun wukong.
Pigsy and tang are probably the only one who i could agree on, they do act like a married couple. But they seem more like best friends as well, and they probably are. But i won't lie, they seem like those best friends who gave each other privileges. (I swear they won't stop acting like divorced people)
there's Pigsy and wukong! Which is..as cute as it might seem because we can provide wukong being this simp monkey and Pigsy acting like he doesn't like the monkey but always makes him breakfast, which is indeed a cute scenario, i just don't see it in canon.
I always take canon in consideration because that's how I match characters. In ships, friendships ect.
Pigsy dosen't hate the monkey, but dislikes him for sure. and wukong is stated to be aroace in LMK if I'm not mistaken so they wouldn't be exactly a good match (i know aroaces can date, is just because wukong is the type who doesn't.)
there's tang and wukong which is probably simply tang upgrading himself into being an absolute simp over wukong, while wukong dosen't even acknowledge his existence.
Which is a fun scenario, but also, not a good pair.
i don't wanna talk about DBK and PIF because in LMK they are together and they are one of the most healthy relationship i love them sm
But PIF is hot i wouldn't blame DBK.
Then the princess Scorpion and the spider queen who are honestly a ship with no fucking sense but it's also good? Only because in fanarts they are so sweet to each other i love seeing it.
There's Tripitaka and Wukong,,and you can already tell i don't like it.
I made an AU specifically to mock that ship too HAHAHAH.
Tang and macaque!
No. Just because poor tang and because macaque isn't mentally stable enough to be in a romantic relationship and make it healthy.
And..yes! These are all the ones i know!
I'm not a fan of ships and my opinions tend to be always negative because of that fact, so I'm sorry if I dissapointed you!
you can always ask about ships and opinions, but you gotta keep in mind that in here there won't be anything related to ship as it doesn't peak my interest! everyone is free to interact with anything you ship, i wouldn't care less, just vibe with me and my monkey man.
:]

what have I created?
idk if yall like this, but they just exist not i guess :/
ok the the first one is Royalty AU
first things first, when I say Royalty AU, I don't mean the classic shit we've all become accustomed to. Im talking about the good old Chinese royalty! And I want to emphasize that these guys will/should be dressed in century appropriate attire. As someone thats read a handful of 'marinette, princess of china' fics from the ML Fandom, I've noticed a common trend. Marinette wouldn't be in the culturally appropriate clothes, always ballgowns. Not that there's something wrong with it, its just most of if not all these fic are set in China, so I'd expect Chinese royalty to dress as THERE dress code calls for. And since this AU takes place far in the past like, it won't make sense for any of the characters to be in royal clothing that wasn't from there region. I'm not trying to white knight/gatekeeping. Im Guyanese not Chinese. But since JTTW and Monkie Kid take place in China, it's only right. In my opinion that it. You don't have to outright agree with me.
With out of the way, it's time for that good old AU crack
- Wukong is the king of the Flower Fruit kingdom(or a different one if you'd like, again I'm only familiar with what western culture has taught me, but I'll try my hardest)
- he’s single but rumor has it he used to/still is dating the Vigilante/thief The Six Eared Macaque
- *chants ShadowPeach violently*
- no one know whether it true or not
- On of his wanders around the kingdom he finds an abandoned baby in a basket.
- and no shit sherlock it's fucking baby Xiaotian
- I think we all know where this is going because i'm a simp for Monkey Dad & Monkie Son shenanigans
- Xiaotian becomes prince
Shit, ill be referring to Xiaotian as Mk from now on, I mentioned this before in a fic I wrote for lmk that Mk's a nickname for Xiaotian for some reason- wait i don't have to explain my self to you people!
- Sun loves his son
- MK is treated differently by staff and others because he's not blood related to the king
- no one mistreats MK per say, because there King loved his adopted son, but words are said behind his back
- Sometimes MK hears what’s said, and he feels as if he won't live up to his dad’s legacy.
- He meets Mei during a festival
- Mei is from a noble family, that wouldn't mind if they got a connection into the royal family.
- but it becomes hella clear to Mei’s family very fast that the two are just friends, and will always will be. but hey there daughter is bffs with the prince so that's a plus.
_
- the Demon Bull Family is rules a kingdom as well, I dont/am not creative enough to think of a name I leave that to you.
- It's a common misconception that DBK is a tyrant, when he’s not.
- most of the time...
- they have been at war with the Monkey King for some time now and settled for a peace agreement.
- that agreement being there sons to marry
- oooo original i know
- MK and Red Son are roughly the same age, Mk being 20 and RS 22
- RS is revolted/disgusted at the idea of being wed to the Monkey Kings child, even more so when he realizes MK is adopted,
- but, that all changes the second he meets MK while he meets him by accident when he gets kinda lost in the palace when he and his parents go to discuss the arrangements.
- the second he looks at MK, he's instantly in love. MK less so, he's nervous and honestly kinda bummed he's not marrying someone he loves but it's for the good of his ppl, and he'll do anything for them.
- RS isn't even aware that MK is Suns adopted son until MK walks him back to the meeting room.
"Oh There you are MK! I was about to have a servant go fetch you!" Sun Wukong says, gesturing for his boy to come sit with him.
"S-sorry for keeping you waiting I got caught up in my lessons with Mr. Tang" MK responds, sitting next to his father. Red Son looked gobsmacked. The beautiful young man he had bumped into, was the prince of this land? Damn, life truly blessed him. Or cursed him depending on how you looked at it.
- the two are left alone in a separate room for a while.
- And MK straight up tells RS why he's agreeing to this union.
"Look Red Son. I've dreamed about meeting my one true love for a while. And I would give almost anything for that dram to be real. But I wouldn't ever dare give up my people, for as there price they mean more to me. I'm doing this for them, no other reason" MK says, his back straight and hands folded neatly in his lap. The look in his eyes was a mix of sadness, but that was drowned out by loyalty and determination. It just made Red Son fall for him even harder. Clearing his throat Red spoke.
"I understand, for im doing this for the betterment of my people to. But I propose a wager"
"A wager?"
"Yes, if i can make you fall in love with me by years end, before our marriage, we can live together like in the fairy tales from far away. But if I fail, in a years time afterwards you will be permitted to find your own path in life" Red Son stated. MK took a moment to process what was happening.
"So, if you succeed in making me fall in love with you, before our marriage we can live happily ever after?" Red Son nodded in response, letting the younger continue.
"And if I shouldn't fall for you, in a years time after our union, im free to leave?" Red Son nodded once more.
"So, what do you say?"
...
"Deal"
In the end, your free to choose their fate, should Red Son win the hart of Mk? Will he fail? Or will he let him go, and let him travel the country, after all Mk's a free spirit and keeping him trapped in a big house is like keeping a cannery trapped in a cage only for its song, only for it to dul. Or will the unthinkable happen and will both boys find their freedom? together or appart? I don't know, because that's all up to you 😉
personally, I’m partial to where MK and Red Son both find freedom together. Like they straight up run away together to somewhere far away and just live out there lives together.
this could also be genderbent thing as well. MK or Red as their respective counterparts. Again it doesn't have to be, but it’s whatever bro. im just spitting out the idea.
Also, there is a main side plot that they fight the WBS throughout the year as well, along with other shenanigans you wanna throw in.
____
The second is a My Hero Academia/BNH/MHA AU
truth be told i'm not a big fan of MHA i think it to over hyped(this is also coming from the same person that’s a Fairy Tail fan lol), and the fandom i don't even know how to describe that mess, but I will admit not the whole of its toxic since every fandom has some toxic members, some even more so.
I just sometimes find myself enjoying MHA AUs like the Fullmetal Alchemist, Danny Phantom, Evil!Deuk AU and several others.
to make it clear I don't see this AU taking place the same time as the main plot of the actual Anime/Manga. This could be either like 6-10 years before or after the plot idk bro. But i’ll do this after the main story plot of MHA, so keep that in mind ya? another thing, the gang is still in China, the top hero school in the world just so happens to be in Japan, and it’s only ever mentioned by Sun wukong and other pro heros. So MK never attended AU. in short it’s only ever mention/ reference.
_
- Mk was considered Quirkless as a kid.
- he was just a late blumer, i swear
- Mai’s Quirk is called Dragon.
- it pretty much works the same way as it does in the show(duh)
- Tang’s got a knowledge Quirk,
- my man can retain information and he’s basically an archive of information drawback being his personality lol
- Piggsy is a Animal that gained a Quirk
- in cannon to my current knowledge, there are two other characters that can confirm animals can become sentient. the characters being Fumikage Tokoyami, & Nezu the principal at the school UA.
- Sandy is just Conner Kent, aka he like superman but can't fly, or shoot lasers from his eyes. And blue.
I have two scenarios for Macaque and Wukong
*- The first one is that, Sun Wukong & Macaque are brothers. twins to be exact.
- they where legit people, but have mutation quirks that made them too like monkeys.
- the added powers were just a boues.
- Sun and Mac are close growing up, like there brothers but also best friends.
- the draw back to there quirks could honestly be whatever you want bro idk, same with the others tbh. Personally I like to think Sun just has lack of motivation, and Macaque needs to draw on other people's energy.
- Sun is a hero, Monkey KIng and Mac is a villain Six Eared.
- Sun was always treated has the golden child in the family, Mac always resented that, but there shitty up bring didn’t stop the two from being good brothers to one another.
- soon tho the resentment became hatred when Sun was able to attend UA in Japan, while Mac didn't.
- Mac be angy
- so he became a villain, and joined the Chinese branch of the LOV(league of villains)
- Sun doesn't know this till he finds out during the all out war during the main story. and by that time he’s a full on hero with is own agency(The Flower Fruit agency)
- when the hero's ultimately win and Mac is arrested
- This ultimately hurts Sun a lot, his brother was in jail now, arrested for his involvement and wrong doings, he knew nothing about this! this brother, his blood. A bad guy? why? he hadn't seen his brother since he left for UA, he hadn’t seen him when he came home, and started his agency.
- this just puts Sun into a funk so he’s not as active as he used to be, and he starts thinking he might need a successor
*- The second one is that they were two separate people that had similar quirks and both attended UA but Sun ended up in the hero corse. so 1A.
- Both Macaque and Sun have similar quirks, Sun’s is obviously more light based while Macaque’s is more shadow based(this applies to the first one as well)
- Macaque was placed in class 1B, U.A.’s High's Heroics Department, I believe, you can correct me.
- In cannon Class 1A and 1B both went to the training camp. I can see the teachers pinning Sun and Macaque against each other to hone their skills.
- And because of that they become great friends
- In fact when they graduate they both co-found there hero agency together in China and are a duo.
- But due to Monkey King’s popularity and Six Eared's association with shadows(people sometimes saying he has more of a villains quirk than a heros) the public see’s Macaque as Sun’s sidekick when thats far from the truth.
- now it’s up to you whether you think that Wukong and Macaque would be in a relationship together, but knowing how cooked we all are, ShadowPeach is a thing here more than likely.
- If you do or don’t support/ like the ShadowPeach aspect, the two would be living together regardless since its more cost efficient.
- They my be heroes but living costs are expensive!
- I would imagine there would have been a huge fight/argument between the two in privet of course, at there home.(or in there shared office if you want the extra angst of the other people they work with hearing them fight)
- If the two are dating, then this would either lead to an out right breakup, or Macaque just up and leaving with Wukong thinking he’ll come back once he’s cooled off. But after a week, with no sign of his partner, or him answering texts or calls, not even coming into work. Wukong gets worried that something might have happened to him. so there wouldn't be a confirmation if they were still a thing or not.
- But Wukong remains hopeful, despite the nagging at the back of his head, and gut telling him to go find Macaque, or atleast make a public statement, or even just tell another pro hero about it.
- on the not so shippy side, Macaque and Wukong still have there argument, and much like the ShadowPeach esc side, Macaque up and leaves, and isn't seen for weeks. the only difference here is that when Wukong comes home one night to there flat, most if not all of Macaques stuff is gone.
- where as if this was the ShadowPeach side, Macaque leaves all of his possession in the flat he and wukong share. for the simple reason being, he still loves him and wants to go back, but Macaque being Macaque can’t bring himself to do it, especially after seeing just how hurt Wukong looked when he yelled at him just before he left.
- in other words, ANGST DIALED UP TO A 10 BABY
- in either case, its a news report that confirms Wukong's suspicions that he desperately didn’t want to believe, and that is Macaque turning into a villain.
- much like if the two were brothers, Wukong just can’t take it and is no longer as active as he once was, and is thinking about, either A) Retirement  B) Saying, “Fuck Society, Be Gay Do Crime” and join Macaque as a villain himself, or C) find a successor, and a way to bring Macaque back to there side, but most importantly, back to him.
- also extra points if you're after people's hearts and want to make them suffer;  - If there dating, Wukong curle’s up in the bed he and Macaque shared, holding/wearing something of great value to Macaque and just crying himself to sleep, where as Macaque is getting wasted on alcohol, as he stumbles out of the bar he’s in, he either see’s something that reminds him of Wukong or while he’s trying to put his wallet back into his pocket, a photo of them on their first date fall’s out. and Macaque just cries in a nearby alley way. And it’s there where he gets indoctrinated into the League.
       - If there just friends, macaque heads to the nearest forest and just levels it, where as Wukong just gets engrossed into his work, trying not to think about it. you could add you own spin on this, again i'm just spitballing.
- NOW BACK TO MK! :D
- Obviously MK is a huge Monkey King fan
- at Twenty MK has come to terms he's quirkless (HE’S NOT)
-for ANGST reasons MKs fokes kicked him out at this realization at 13.
- he works at Piggsy's Noodle shop, and has been since he was 14.
- don't need a quirk to drive or cook!
- the boy lives a content life with his new family, till DBK happens :D
- DBK runs a Mafia(in conjunction with TLOV) and has been in jail for like 5 years thanks to Monkey King, PIF and RS brake him out one night when MK's out making a late night delivery since Piggsy had the bright idea to go 24/7 service!
- one thing leads to another and Mk somehow manifest what looks like the Monkey King's staff, but its not, it’s MKs powers, it just so happens to be the same power the Monkey King has. And it practically goes down the same way in the pilot.
- but unlike the pilot Mk and Mei go straight to the FF Agency, after making a panicked call to Pigsy and Tang.
- one way or another Mk are lead into Wukongs office. Mei being forced to stay in the lobby.
- they have there convo, butterfly monkey squishing included.
- "And so, I want you do be my success-" BOOM 💥
- from there they rush downstairs and see that the lobby has been infiltrated by the DB fam, and you know fight.
- once the DB family seems like there down, PIF wisks them away. Much to Monkey King’s displeasure.
From there stuff kind plays out like cannon, the calabash ep is just a conjoint quirk the Demon bros have. As for EP9, ill have to script that one out myself lol. I'll get onto it as soon as my will to commit stabs me in the face. Till then have a dancing Kermit the frog.
Now if you'll excuse me, am about to Kermit a felony :D
(For legal reasons thats a joke)
Psst @writingamongther0ses its done

Guess what, storytime.
Nao was born by a magic fountain that if two pieces if DNA were put in, it would create a child. But also, if you just put food or objects in the fountain, they'll just multiply. And this was over the Western Kingdom of Women. So, one time when Macaque and Wukong were fighting (they fought why) enough pieces of DNA was given to the fountain to create Nao. So, they leave before she can be formed. She was hatched from a stone egg. That's when she was found by a troop of demon monkeys and she is raised by troop. The thing is that the fountain was built on the edge of the kingdom so the troop also uses the fountain. There is a peace treaty between the town and the troop that is up held. The troop is a line of defense and offense in case a demon comes through the village and is nearly beaten and needs to be stopped and vise verca.
Anyway, something actually was born alone. She has a twin brother but he was fully grown. Things go south for Nao after she turns 2 months old. An old foe of Macaque's finds Nao and realizes that she is Macaque's daughter. So, after a small conversation, the demon tries and kills Nao with a poisoned knife. She tried to chirp for help by the demon wants a quiet moment and decides to traumatize Nao some more and says "Gods, you're yippy." And finishes the job by slitting her throat and leaving her for death. So, she does die for a but until her brother and adopted fathers come looking for her and find her dead. Her brother, Shí Hou, begs the gods, Buddha, anyone, to let him take her place. She was two months. She would never experience life. So, Guan Yin came and said that there was a way but he wouldn't be the same. He said he'd do even if he had to take her place in the realm of the dead. So, Guan Yin heals Nao by merging her and Shí Hou's body. So, now Nao is mentally grown up while she is still little. Sometimes. Sometimes she just a little kid. The other are her being an adult who is stuck in a child's body. Nao is also raised by a lesbian couple of immortal warriors. One is retired and the other is still a fighter. So, one day, a tsunami that was created by a young dragon prince (Ao Lie) on accident, causes Nao to get swept out to sea and all the way to Flower-Fruit mountain. There, she is found by some monkey guards and they take her to Wukong and he decides to raise her with the help of Macaque because you can't change my mind that Wukong doesn't know anything about babies. So, they decide to show the brotherhood and they think Wukong and Macaque finally got married and they congrats them. Wukong and Macaque say that they're not her bio parents but then Azure says that really are. He sailys that the two's scent is on Nao. So, they take that information and raise her. Because of the incident that happened a while ago, she has a stunt of age growth. So, the 500 years, she doesn't age at all. So, everything is normal for a bit until Wukong leaves again for the journey. Macaque goes into a state of depression and its soon after that the mountain is attacked by a group of demons because they heard that Wukong was back. Macaque tells everyone to moves to the other side and hide while he fights the enemy. Nao gets captured and watches as the demon general nearly kills Macaque. To which, Shí Hou, finds out that he can possess her. He is her shadow and he somehow takes control of her and kills the general. So, they take her away from Flower-Fruit Mountain and tortures her to give them some information. She doesn't give any so the just torture her because she killed their general. They have enough of her so they assign a demon guard to take her away to kill her. She is already gotten a lot of infections from most of her cuts. So, the guard just cuts her chest over her heart to end her. She does bleed but it doesn't kill her. So, the guard hits her unconcisous and leaves her to bleed or die of her infections. Then, a few minutes later, Tripitaka finds her. He takes her back to their campsite and the four (Tripitaka, Sandy, Pigsy, and Ao Lie) wrap up her injuries and tend to her infections. It took awhile but they had nearly fully healed. Later, Wukong comes back and finds her. He falls to his knees when he sees his daughter. She's wrapped in bandages and cuts and scars. He hurries over to as fast as he can at that moment and cradles her. Shí Hou talks to Nao in the spirit realm and tells her that dad still needs her.
(Wukong = Papa
Macaque = Daddy/Dad)
She cries and Wukong holds her as she does. She asks where her Dad is and Wukong asks what happen. After she tells him what happened, Wukong flies off to save Macaque and kill the demons. Nao gets close with her other uncles and calls Ao Lie her cousin. She also recongizes Ao Lie's powers as the same that caused the tsunami. She isn't mad though but she doesn't tell him. Wukkng comes back, covered in blood and with Macaque on his shoulders. Wukong begs Tripitaka to help his lover. Tripitaka is angry at Wukong for that but he can see the tears are coming down his face and agrees. So, Nao and Macaque join the group because Macaque is too injured to be left to just Nao's care and because Wukong ain't leaving his family again. He goes to Guan Yin to get the thumbs up. And she agress the second she hears Nao's name. She has been watching Nao and guiding her this entire time. So she said that she would ask Buddha and tell him from there. During this time, they give Macaque sometime to heal as they wait. Nao has the six ears of the siblings so he e hears when Guan Yin says that her and Macaque can join and continue as soon as he wakes up. Macaque wakes up two months later and then they go on the journey. After the journey though, Macaque and Nao spit away from Wukong and they travel. Then, once she is old enough, she decides to live with her troop again. This starts to kick off a nasty fight that happens between Macaque and Wukong which leads to Macaque's death. Wukong doesn't tell Nao and while she writes to him, he says that Macaque says hi. Then Macaque comes and tells her what happened and she said she knew. She heard after all. Then she isn't seen until the time between season 3 and 4. She is Rumble and Savage's favorite person in the world. MK and Mei love her mostly because she is so cool and she tells stories about the times where Wukong and Macaque's relation was like in the past.
She also is also dating Nezha. The two fell in love when they were younger so they started dating.
The end.

My OC for LEGO Monkie Kid, Nao Yuan. The daughter of the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Sun Wukong and the Six-Earred Macaque, Liu Er Mihou. And a bunch of other people/demons because she’s been adopted before. I will tell her backstory later.
