“I. Am going. To kill that rat.” “What was that, Boss?” “I said, BACK TO YOUR POSTS NOW!” “Y-Y-Yes, sir, right away, sir!”
(ID: Kirby series fanart comic, Kintsugi AU, four borderless panels featuring Dark Meta Knight, Mirror Axe Knight, and Mirror Mace Knight, in which the latter two comment on their leader’s interesting new battle scars, much to his restrained dismay. Transcript below the cut. END ID.)
Good thing his minions aren’t the brightest bulbs in the bunch - otherwise they’d’ve found out about all the friendly hugs he’s been getting in his off-time.
(… this isn’t too much, is it? Stars, I hope not. I tried to keep it vague enough that it doesn’t have to mean anything spicy. Maybe it was just a very competitive game of tag. Or maybe DMK couldn’t quite reach an itch between his wings and Daroach got a bit overenthusiastic trying to help. Basically anything that could ruin his “big scary cool toughguy” reputation. As long as DMK is too embarrassed to admit to it in front of his crew, they’re all viable options, haha.)

Transcript:
Panel 1
*DMK walking forward towards our left, M!Axe and M!Mace passing by in the opposite direction, M!Axe waves cheerily to DMK, who glances at them over his shoulder*
M!Axe: Oh, Boss, there you are! Hey, how was the fight? Didja win?
DMK: Hm? What’re you talking about?
Panel 2
*reverse shot of DMK, still glancing over his shoulder, several pink scratch lines can be seen on his back and the base of his wings, each in sets of three*
M!Mace: Got some new scratches on your back, Boss. Nasty ones, too, by the look of it.
M!Axe: (laughing, impressed) Ha! Musta been one heck of a scrap to leave marks like that! I’d hate to see what happened to the other guy, haha!
Panel 3
*front shot of DMK, his eyes shrunk to dots in realization, as a thought bubble hovers over his head - a simple headshot of Daroach, grinning roguishly beneath the shadow of his hat, showing off his claws as they glint sharply*
Panel 4
*front shot of DMK, sweating and glaring fixedly off to the side, eyes still shrunk, a vivid blush inside his visor, while M!Axe and M!Mace stand where they were before behind him, heads tilted in innocent confusion*
DMK: (strained) … … … Yes. … … A fight. … That’s what happened.

CrookedStar and Leafpool
Two cats who put loyalty to their clan above everything!
Who gave up so much for their family and loved them with their whole hearts no matter how much it hurt!
Cats who were lead astray and screwed over by dead people they trusted, who were lead in so many different directions by so many forces and endured it all because they just wanted to do the right thing!
Cats who would genuinely do ANYTHING for their siblings, who were so so proud of them.
They were shamed by those closest to them for perceived shortcomings they could do nothing about!
They stood up for themselves and decided to forge their own paths!
AUGH I'M SO NORMAL ABOUT THEM!! If CrookedStar lived a stupidly long time, she'd remind him of his daughter and would've stood up for her during HollyLeaf's speech.
If the Erins weren't COWARDS they would've had CrookedStar talk to LeafPool in her dreams. They would talk for hours and hours and he'd be such a good listener. I think they deserved to be besties.
He would've loved MothFlight and Leafpool's relationship.

FINALLY watched the rest of Good Omens s2 (if you couldn't tell by my massive reblogging spree) and I have to pontificate on Aziraphale's decision in the end and how it's not as simple as "herp derp he still thinks heaven is good".
Because the thing is: he hesitated. He looked back at Crowley. He was absolutely considering telling heaven that he had changed his mind up until the point that Mettatron said something about planning "the Second Coming".
Because he realized at that point that, if left unchecked, heaven was never going to stop trying to force armageddon.
And yes we all know Azi is "looks soft but is actually scary" and Crowley is "looks scary but is actually soft", but the thing is Aziraphale is still Very Soft and does Care Deeply about Earth and all the people on it. And he also apparently adores a good love story. If heaven gets their way, everything ends. Nina and Maggie will never eventually get together, Adam will never get to grow up and have a normal life, even Gabriel and Beelz won't be safe out in their little corner of space.
So he could, at this point, go back to Crowley, run off with him, be "us"...but there's no guarantee that whatever heaven's planning won't catch up to them. Aziraphale, in that moment, decides that going up there and figuring out for himself what's really going on is the best chance they have of finally stopping all this mess for good and ensuring that everyone and everything he loves will be safe. Even if the person he loves will never forgive him, at least he'll be safe.
In short; Aziraphale knowingly messed up the happy ending to his own love story to ensure everyone else's happy endings.
this bitch
but now that we've opened up the boys/male-presenting entities kissing-on-screen door, i expect a nice happy proper one next season Mr. Gaiman.
or maybe several

I feel like this conversation would have been incredibly different if Half Moon was male and I resent that
Half Moon loved a dude for a fleeting moment in her 20s and everything is about him. Every time she's on screen it's her doubting herself or some commentary about how she 'gave her life up' because she couldn't have a husband and babies.
Like, fuck off, 'a pang of pity', that is the spiritual authority of your entire culture. Do you feel a 'pang of pity' for the Dalai Lama? Shut up.

If by any chance you like the characters I write (this goes for both Jinhsi and Dain in this context) and the way I have to approach things IC (I'd assume as much if we're mutuals, to be honest dfjhgj), I highly encourage you peeps to build our own thing. It doesn't matter if they're muses from different fandoms or the same. Do you want to write an idea but it's hard to make it happen for reasons? Let's talk it out and we'll find a way to make it work, it doesn't matter if we have to bend the laws of the canon in which our muses move.

It's that one Vampire!
In honor of the spooky month, I've decided to do one of Touhou's vampires, Kurumi!
I don't really have much of an opinion on most PC98 characters, but Kurumi is one I do quite like and have many a headcannon on! Oh, and one of those is that Yuuka and her have been married for like... a LONG time, and Kurumi took Yuuka's last name due to a lack of having one herself =).
Swoobat is here due to me feeling an obligation to give bats to Touhou's vampires (Remi would have Crobat and Flan would have Noivern). Swoobat also kinda fits the vibe I feel like she has!
The next two are actually byproducts of her time as a gatekeeper (I like to think she has long since retired). Mightyena was like a scary guard dog using it's intimidate ability to scare off intruders. Now it just gets spoiled rotten tho.
Feraligatr on the other hand was the thing that actually killed the shit outta people. Wanted to give her something big, mean and aquatic due to her guarding a BLOOD LAKE, and due to something of a trend I have when building modded zoos in Minecraft, Feraligatr felt most natural. (The gators go in the blood pool, that's the rules.)
Sunflora was something she got from Yuuka once they got together. Instead of doing something like a ring, I like the idea that Yuuka proposed to Kurumi in this hypothetical pokemonxtouhou setting by giving her a Sunkern egg, since she's the funny sunflower lady.
The Skorupi is only kinda hers. Like she technically is the one who owns it, but it's really Medicine's (I LOVE the idea that Yuuka adopted Medicine after the events of Touhou 9, and since Kurumi just kinda stays home all day because of the whole vampire thing, she's the one who spends copious amounts of time with their doll daught). Think Dedenne from the XY anime if you've seen it.
While the last slot is empty, that's because the thing she uses in it isn't a pokemon SHE owns, but is actually Yuuka's Tyrannitar from my Yuuka team. I love the idea that to Yuuka and Kurumi specifically it just acts like a giant scally dog, and they treat it as such. That T-Tar is the most spoiled member of its kind know to man, and only because that's just the kind of pet owner I imagine Kurumi to be.
