He has to do it from standing, flat-footed. He cannot do it off of a high object or from standing in mid-air or into a Valley of Screams. He has to stick the landing. My experience with this fandom is very positive like honestly compared to others I’ve been in, there’s little bigotry (not saying there’s none but I’m used to other fandoms being definitely worse) and to me it feels welcoming and nice. But something that really made me go woahhh lots of people have unchecked bias here was the whole conversation about Phoenix’s potential alcoholism. Bc Jesus Christ some of you really aren’t normal about alcoholics.

Just have to get through today and it's my usual 3 day weekend. Then I work Monday and have the rest of the week off. The week after is going to be the same. Glad to have all that time off. I will do my best to try to stay busy and get some painting done. I will be spending the holidays on my own. Am debating on possibly getting myself some salmon for christmas dinner as a treat. Maybe some beers to enjoy one night. I am trying to make the best of it, anyway.

I want it to be ambiguous with Vannessa whether or not anything supernatural is actually going on (aside from the Mimic, obvs). Worlds most fucked up thing about rdr2 storywise is even outside of story missions, 80% of the time when a stranger grabs you its to tell you to leave. Get out of here. Live somewhere else. You dont want to die here.

Or its shown in picture shows you can see all the animals die because they didnt listen to the wind. Preachers at gravesides giving eulogies to nobody about how staying faithful to the wrong people can kill a man. So many of the npc missions you come across is you helping them escape or teaching others how to survive for themselves after loss.

But all of these encounters, since they are random things you come across, are always portrayed as something you can brush off as crazy ramblings of others instead of the overlooming dread and theme of the story itself. Ugh.

getting back into ffxv 5+ years after the first time means I have to migrate my playlists to a new music app, which sadly I have to do by clicking on each individual song because every service hates me and I hate them all too

also this has revealed to me that Google mysteriously deleted some of my files (don't worry I have a backup)

BUT more importantly I am reconnecting with my Noctis playlist, which includes discovering that I still remember all the words to some Gackt songs from 2000 😅
