Sometimes, my brother starts a phone call with, "Hey, my Dictionary," and I know that he's calling to tell me some vague plot or scene from a movie/TV show that he's thinking about but he can't remember what it's from

I have a pretty good memory for visual media, though, so I can usually remember what it is. Plus we grew up on the same media, if he's seen it, I've seen it.

Today, I get that kind of phone call, and he says, "Hey, Dictionary [...] It's a movie where they spend the whole time trying to get these ducks to fly or something?"

It's actually geese, but we were kids, I won't hold it against him

"Fly Away Home," I say, "I was just looking at that movie the other day."

My brother to someone in the background, "See, I told you. She always knows."

Then to me, he says, "[Coworker] and I were talking about it and neither of us could remember the name of the movie. He told me to Google it, but I was like 'nah, I'll call my dictionary instead.'"

I don't have many talents, but accurately naming the movie/show my brother is trying to remember is definitely one of them

My family and I could never thank you enough for all the help you provided. Be happy, please, knowing that you really helped us, that you really made a difference. You gifted him with two chances to fight and he took them with his characteristic braveness. Till his last breath he fought fiercely, he never wanted to be separated from our mother.

Each second that we could be with him, fill him with love, hold his hands and look at his eyes was thanks to you. No help was too small. Don’t change, please, keep helping everyone in need, it does mean something.

My family now will be forever broken without my brother, we’ll always remember him and love him. We’re in absolute ruin, but we have inner peace knowing everything that could be done, was done.
