Angular is a leading JavaScript framework for developing web apps. It offers a number of advantages that make it well-suited for building Microsoft Office Add-ins. One of the key advantages is its ability to build complex and large-scale applications with ease. Angular's architecture, which is based on components and a hierarchical structure, allows developers to break down an application into smaller, reusable pieces, making it easier to manage and maintain.
Another benefit you may find with Angular is its flexibility. The framework provides a wide range of built-in directives, services, and modules that can be used for Microsoft Office Add-ins development, and its modular design allows developers to easily add or remove functionality as needed. Additionally, Angular's flawless two-way data binding and dependency injection support help to make the development process more efficient, by reducing the need for boilerplate code and making it easier to manage the application's state.
The support for Typescript is another important aspect of Angular that makes it suitable for building Office Add-ins. TypeScript is a typed superset of JavaScript that makes it easier to write robust and maintainable code. It also provides support for classes, modules, and interfaces, making it a better choice for object-oriented programming.

Mentor Message 2.16.24
Sometimes I feel like a sloth...
🐱‍💻Campus Updates/Reminders
2 Reminders for Syllabi Policies:
A.  AI: Include a policy on AI/academic integrity in syllabi. Departments may want to determine recommended policies for their disciplines See Syllabus Samples
B. Logging in is not “Attending”: See DE Handbook p. 6 for recommendations. This is per Federal financial aid regulations (see p. 5-65
2. Enrollment Concerns:  Due to increasing cases of large-number false enrollments, it is important for online faculty to reach out & drop all no-shows/no contact students the first day & to contact & enroll waitlisted students. Pre-start enrollment numbers might be vastly "off."
3. DE Toolbox Resource Site: SDCCD Online Pathways has been updating the SDCCD DE Toolkit. This helps fill the gap now that the sdccdolvid site where Dave Giberson & Katie Palacios kept a library of tutorials is no longer supported. The site still works, but no updated content after Dave retired last year.
4. Student Email: Faculty can reach out to students using the non-sdccd email (especially important for pre-semester, drop/add, waitlists). Many thanks to Dean DeVore, Margarita Murray & their team for creating this. Tutorial: See 1.28.24 Mentor Message or Tumblr Blog for archived messages.
5. Office 365 Issue: PT faculty don’t have access to the Word/PPT/Excel software off-line. To create or open those types of files, PT faculty must be logged into their Outlook Account/Myapps  If PT faculty need access offline, fill out a request.*Request Form for Downloadable 365 (not a guarantee it will be granted – requires Dean sign-off).
*365 LTI in Canvas not recommended: You still have to open the Word/PPT/Excel application in your MyApps or your desktop applications (if you have it downloaded).
6. Upgraded Wi-Fi at City is complete. Please submit a Help ticket if you have difficulties accessing the Guest-Connect or the SDCCD Campus Connect (faculty/students/staff only). Info & tutorials: See LRC Info or the District Wi-Fi site. You may need to “forget network” or work with the Helpdesk for your particular phone, tablet, laptop, etc. Many thanks to Charlie Mills on getting this gargantuan task completed!
7. New Paper Cut Pay-to-Print in LRC: See Student Accounting for transferring funds from the old system. The high-speed KIC scanner is available for free, fast scanning Info on printing and scanning in the LRC.

Ooo what about some teacher!Haz angst? Him and the reader get into an argument and avoid each other for a few days, their students find out and remind them of why they're together - the perfect couple - and they forget about the argument?
I love this! I hope it is okay. I got a bit carried away - sorry it took so long.
Lesson Learned
Summary: You and Teacher!Haz had an argument. Everyone at school can see the tension and they try to help.
Word Count: 1.8K
Warnings: Some angst, Some fluff, Some bad attempts at writing an English lesson
Tumblr media
The moment you pulled your car into the parking lot, Tom knew something was wrong.
“Haz not coming in today?” You only gave him a small smile and a shrug as you walked by the boy that got stuck doing car rider duty each morning.
Less than a minute later, Haz pulled in, trying not to glance at your car as he made his way towards the building.
“How come you didn’t pick up Y/N?”
“Ask her, mate.” was the only information Harrison gave out, before he made his way inside.
When you signed in, the office staff noticed the tension as well. Usually Harrison would be holding your bag or the two of you would be way too giggly for the early mornings. Today you were managing your purse, work bag and mug of tea all alone while signing in. You’d have to put on a better act if you wanted to make it through the day. The last thing you wanted was to be the subject of workplace gossip or have your students interrogating you.
When the first bell rang, you knew you needed to stand in your spot in the hallway to watch the students, but knowing Harrison would be out there across from you made you drag your feet.
When you saw him standing there- in his stupid glasses and his stupid jumper - you froze. How could you be angry at such a face? But you were angry.
You were still stalled in the doorway when one of your students started walking in.
“Hey Emma, will you help me with something?” Sure. You used her to get away from the hallway.
“Sure, Ms. Y/L/N. What do you need?”
Once you were safely inside you turned to her. “Oh uh.. never mind I think I’ve got it actually..” You knew you were a coward, but you couldn’t face him yet. Harrison saw you retreat and hung his head. He noticed how you had an excuse to avoid the hallway all day. You two used to be inseparable and now it felt like across the hall was a world away.
He wasn’t the only one to notice. The students and other teachers noticed. Even the custodian pointed out how during lunch you were eating in your separate rooms.
“You must have a lot of work to do?” He joked light heartedly while emptying Harrison’s trash.
“Sorry?”
“To not be eating with Ms. Y/L/N today you must have a lot to do.” He smiled before leaving the room.
After school Harrison coached Track practice. You would usually busy yourself with work while waiting or occasionally host Yearbook Club and Prom Committee meetings. Today you had no reason to wait. After the dismissal bell rang, it felt odd to start packing up immediately, but you did. Avoiding anyone’s questions or awkward run ins, you made a quick exit and headed to your own place.
The next day was much of the same. The staff noticed the tension even more, though they tried not to point it out. The students were also beginning to pick up on the sudden change.
You couldn’t just avoid the hallway for another whole day, so in between classes you moved down to Mrs. Greene’s area and made small talk with her, occasionally calling out a student to put their phone up or hurry to class.
During lunch Tom popped in to check on his friend, noticing that he was eating alone again.
“Hey, mate.”
“Hey Tom. What’s up?”
“You tell me.” Tom responds while leaning against a students desk with his arms crossed.
“Sorry?”
“What’s going on with you and Y/N?” Harrison stared at his friend for a moment. He loved having a close friend that cared so much, but sometimes hated how persistent he could be.
“It’s nothing. Don’t worry about it.”
“Don’t do that. Everyone has noticed how you two are acting differently, so you can’t say it’s nothing. And I’m your best mate so I’m going to worry about it if I can see it’s affecting you.”
“We got into a fight.” He said after a moment.
“Was it bad?” Harrison gave his friend a ‘seriously?’ look before rolling his eyes. Obviously if they weren’t speaking it was bad. “Okay okay. Well, you didn’t break up right? So you can still repair things. That is, if you want to?”
“Of course I want to.”
“So then what are you waiting for?”
“She doesn’t want to talk to me. She does everything she can to avoid me and we work right across from each other.”
“Okay, but sitting in here and moping about it isn’t helping anything.” Harrison knew Tom was right, but it was still tough to hear. “Look, I don’t know what the fight was about or who was right or who was wrong, but if you don’t want this to ruin the relationship then you’ve got to suck it up and go over there and talk to her. The silence isn’t doing anything for anyone.” Harrison just nodded, taking in his friend’s advice before the bell rang. “I’m here if you need me.” Tom called out as he made his way back to the science lab.
It was the last class of the day, your AP Literature class, and you were discussing Little Women.
“What are some themes we saw throughout the novel?”
“Love.” Shouted out one of your students, Jessie.
“Yes, love is a big one. We see it in many different ways that we can explore as well. But let’s go a little deeper into those relationships, shall we? What themes do we see?”
“With Jo and Laurie there is tension.”
“Yeah we see that a bit.” You turn to add it on the board.
“Could you say war? Because of the actual war but also the arguments the characters have.”
“Good one.” You say with your back to the class as you write it on the board.
“And with Amy and Jo, they don’t communicate very well. They just argue a lot.”
“You’re right. They do.” You say turning back around, suddenly uncomfortable with where this is headed. “Okay that’s a good starting point. Why don’t you write down all the themes you can think of being consistent throughout Little Women and turn it in at the end of class.” You smile before heading back to your desk.
It wasn’t long until the end of the day approached and the afternoon announcements came over the loudspeaker. After they were over, your students started turning in their papers to your desk.
“Ms. Y/L/N?”
“Yeah, Sam?”
“Um-” they looked back at their small group of friends who seemed to be encouraging them. You smiled, waiting for them to continue, “Did you and Mr. Osterfield break up?”
“Oh my god, Sam. You can’t ask that!” Hannah gasped from her desk. The classroom seemed to suddenly get very quiet. The color drained from your face and you were thankful there were only minutes left in the school day.
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay. No, we haven’t broken up. But that’s all I’m going to say because this is a personal matter and not something to discuss with our students.” Sam smiled sheepishly before returning to their desk.
“I’m glad you didn’t break up.” Carter, one of your typically quieter students, commented.
“Me too. You two are better together than Laurie and Amy.” Megan remarked as other students nodded.
Thankfully, the bell rang before you needed to make any reply. “Thanks guys. See you all tomorrow.” You told them while ushering everyone out the door. You headed back to your desk when you heard the door shut. Wondering who and what it was, you whipped around.
“Harrison.”
“We need to talk.”
“We can’t do this here. And now.”
“If not here and now then when? I know you’ve been avoiding me and I can’t stand not seeing you or talking to you any longer.”
You hated conflict. You hated not being able to control your feelings in moments like this.
“Harrison.” You turned around to face your desk. Your emotions were a confusing cocktail inside of you. You pinched the bridge of your nose, trying to pick somewhere to begin.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry because I know you don’t like being cornered like this, but I didn’t know how else to talk to you. And I’m sorry about this weekend and the things I said and the way I acted. I didn’t mean it. I love you and would never want to hurt you. And I’m sorry I let you avoid me this long as I sat there and did nothing. I should have come to you sooner. I’m sorry I didn’t. But I’m here now, will you please talk to me?” You bowed your head, taking in everything he just said. “Will you at least look at me?”
You turned to face him with tears brimming in your eyes. “Oh Y/N.” he stepped closer, but stopped short in front of you. Unsure if he was allowed to hold you still. Unsure where you stood.
You gave him the answer by reaching out and pulling him in. He quickly wrapped his arms around you.
“I’m sorry too. I should have just talked to you sooner, I’m sorry.”
“Oh love.” He kissed the top of your hair while holding you in his arms for a moment. “Are we okay?” He asked, holding your face in his hands as you stepped back.
You nodded and sniffled, letting your tears subside. “Yeah. If anything, this has shown me how much I enjoy being with you. I don’t want to not talk to you again. You are what matters most. Not winning silly arguments.”
“I couldn’t agree more. How about I take you home and we make up for lost time?”
“Harrison!” You hid your face in his chest and giggled. He just smirked before picking up your chin with his finger and kissing you yet again. “Well, I drove my own car so I guess I’ll take myself home.” You reminded him while you gathered your things.
“Just for today, love.” He said as he took your heavy work bag from your arm. “Tomorrow, I’ll be there with your tea, a blueberry muffin and a ride to work.”
“Back as things should be, yeah?” You both walked to the door of your classroom, turning off the lights and locking up for the day.
“Back as things should be.” He gave you a quick peck outside your classroom door, knowing you could now possibly be seen by students. You weren’t though, they were long gone.
Tom, however, saw the brief exchange and smiled to himself, ‘lesson learned.’

The Missing Piece : Chapter 1
Gang leader! AU / Corporate! AU
Characters: Dabi x F/OC
Status: Ongoing
Summary:
Rina Aoki is the secretary of one of the world's biggest broadcasting stations - only she hates her job and wakes up everyday asking herself if this is all there is to life. Then, she meets Dabi: a man of overpowering confidence and many, many secrets. But beneath all that confidence is a wounded soul and years' worth of repressed anger. The two struggle with fear, ambition, vulnerability - but eventually learn that life may just be better when you don't have to struggle alone.
A/N:
There are no quirks in this story. I tried to give it a real world spin. But it will explore dynamics between good and evil, right and wrong, and feelings of family, friendship, love and belonging. I'm super excited about the story and I hope you enjoy it!Chapter 1: the meeting
Chapter One: The Meeting
It was raining.
I hide my tote under my coat out of fear for my laptop. If it gets wet, I'm done for. My boss isn't exactly the most considerate person out there. If anything were to happen to the highly coveted files on it, I might as well hand in my resignation.
I sigh with relief once the bus arrives, and quickly hurry inside.
As I find a seat, I lean my head against the window, not caring for germs or the subtle tremble of the glass. It feels cool against my skin, and not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. But more importantly, it is distracting. It'll give me something else to focus on during the ride.
At least I hoped so.
But within minutes, it becomes clear that my mind has no intention of being distracted. The thoughts creep in and suddenly the soft hum of the engine is no match against the throbbing in my head.
Of course not.
Distractions simply don't last long these days.
So I surrender to the thoughts as I stare at the passing streets, feeling increasingly empty by the minute.
I hate my job. I hate everything about it. Working as a secretary for a broadcasting company is a dream for many. The salary isn't bad. I have access to exclusive events and frequently coordinate with the biggest names in the industry. I know the ins and outs of selling an idea and making it resonate with millions.
But I quickly learned all the people in this industry are insufferable. The whole premise rests upon the art of manipulation, taking something that may very well be worthless and conning people into thinking it will fill a hole they didn't even know they had. The people are superficial, be it actors or other famous personalities. Everyone is so obsessed with images. How to best put on a show to gain the love and admiration of millions.
But what use is their love if it's built upon the distortion of reality?
I shake my head before burying it in my palms.
No matter, I tell myself.
As frustrating and unfulfilling as the work may be, it pays the bills and keeps me busy.
A little too busy...
I get up once my stop arrives. I say a quick thank you to the bus driver before hurrying out.
The cold makes me shiver and I pull my skirt to cover more of my thighs before plastering a fake smile onto my face.
The fake smile is part of the uniform here.
My heels click together with attitude as I make my way through the building. The noise hits my ears immediately. Loud chattering, blaring music and upbeat announcements stand in sharp contrast to the calm of the rainy world outside. I blow kisses as my colleagues call out my name from the studio floor.
My friend and roommate Aliyah takes off her headset to wave me over. She left home extra early today owing to her busy schedule as floor manager. The glaring lights tell me they're about to start shooting but as much as I want to help her with final preparations, I have more important things to worry about right now.
"Can't talk now, Al!" I say apologetically. With one point to my tote bag, she understands. "Good luck!" she shouts back, before returning her attention to the production crew.
I sigh.
I will definitely need all the luck I can get.
I take the elevator up to the highest floor of the company. While our studios are bright, loud and fun. The offices are formal, professional and characteristic of a multibillion dollar company. I knock twice before heading into the largest office at the end of the hall, where my boss is waiting for me. The letters NNTV adorn the walls in an elegant gold print behind him.
A pair of glasses sits on the bridge of Mr. Lane's nose as he reads over today's reports.
"You're late, Ms. Aoki." He says without looking up.
"Apologies, sir. It was unexpected."
"Do I not say to account for the unexpected in your planning, Ms. Aoki?"
"It won't happen again, sir."
He offers me a *tsk* in response.
"Our ratings have gone down this month. Much more than we anticipated." Mr. Lane grumbles.
"CBS' new reality show has attracted a lot of viewers, sir. It's competing with our usual broadcasts at-."
"Then why have you not found a program to substitute whatever we usually air at that time?"
I bite back a sigh. "The current schedule is the most optimal, sir. If we switch around any programs we risk affecting the viewership of The Midnight Show and Killer."
"Well then figure something out!" He barks. "That's what your job is, isn't it?"
"We have a team for a reason, sir. Perhaps we can consult them today? I can schedule an emergency meeting to address this."
I say this knowing the rest of the team won't alter the schedule. The nature of the industry is ratings fluctuate all the time. To change our scheduling at every hint of a drop will only harm our future ratings.
He waves me away. "Schedule it for two hours from now. Cancel anything else I have at that time."
"Yes sir." I confirm, before turning around.
My nostrils seethe as I suddenly hear him mutter *Useless* under his breath.
The rest of the day is spent taking more orders and backtracking on Mr. Lane's previous decisions. Just as I'd expected, the board decided it would be better to simply wait out the next two weeks until the current programs are finished before rearranging any of the schedules. I make a mental note to consider what might be a suitable alternative in the meantime.
The hours drag on. I should have been done at 5, but 7 o clock hits and I'm still taking phone call after phone call. It isn't until a quarter to 9 that I can finally go home.
I sigh as I pass the much quieter studio floor on the way out. I don't find Aliyah among the crew, but I'm sure she's taking care of her own things at the moment. The Midnight Show is scheduled for well, midnight, so she's probably taking a final break before her last project of the night.
Once I am outside, I let out a deep breath I didn't know I was holding in. Instead of taking the bus straight home, I find myself walking toward Café Du Monde. It sits a few blocks away from the NNTV building.
The smell of roasted coffee beans and fresh pastries greets me as I enter. The soft jazz is welcomed by my ears after a day of nonstop chatter and corporate debate.
As I stand in line, I remind myself to pick up coffees before I leave for the crew working late tonight. Hopefully Aliyah will be back by then.
---
"Shit," I hear the man ahead of me in line mutter. "I think I forgot my wallet back in the office."
He checks his pockets again, but finding them empty he looks up at the cashier. "Sorry man, I'll be back another day."
But before he could walk away, I step up to the register. "It's okay, I got it."
He glances at me. "Nah, don't-"
"It's nothing. Can you add another coffee to the order please?"
The cashier punches a few numbers into the register and I hand him a 20.
---
The man tips his hand in thanks. I nod back at him and walk up to the roof.
With a coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other, I sigh. Now to get the day out of my system...
"How can I repay you," A smooth voice says behind me.
I look over my shoulder to see the man walk up to the ledge with me. He has electrifying blue eyes, a head of thick dark hair, and the kind of walk that signifies authority.
"You good at conversation?" I ask.
He thinks for a moment. "How about I let you be the judge of that?"
I pass the man a cigarette. "Then distract me."
"You don't look like the type to smoke." He comments before accepting it.
"Looks can be deceiving." I shrug.
"It feel good or something?"
"Or something." I confirm with a smile. "Just reminds me to breathe in," and with a soft easing in my chest, "and breathe out."
He leans back against the railing. "Hm. You know breathing quality isn't exactly what people would associate with cigarettes."
I roll my eyes. "You know what I mean."
The man chuckles. "Yeah. Although I think rearranging a few things in your life would help more than smoking. Don't want to grow reliant on an outside source for relief now."
"Well, well. Wasn't aware I was speaking to a mental health guru."
He seems amused by that. "That's not what the people working for me would say but it's nice to know their sentiments aren't universal."
"Ah. So you're a shitty boss."
"I'm just a boss." He corrects. "What people think of me has nothing to do with me."
"Must be nice to believe that." I sigh, taking another puff of my roll.
"No reason not to, eh? Letting others' opinions matter to you means you lose power over yourself. There's nothing you could want from them that you can't do for yourself."
"Money?" I suggest.
"That's easy. But it depends on how willing you are to work for it."
"Work quite a lot." I scowl. "...starting to wonder if it's worth the headache, to be honest."
The man leans closer to me, his breath warm against my ear. I try not to focus on the scent of his cologne, musky with notes of amber and cedar wood. "Then what you want isn't really money. Sounds like you want more."
"More?"
"Yeah. Money by itself isn't satisfying," He says matter of factly. He leans away to take a sip of his coffee. "Only when it's coupled with a goal."
"Hm."
"Money doesn't take you anywhere; it's just a means to an end." He continues. There's an air of mystery behind those turquoise eyes of his. "Your goal is what guides you. Where do you want to go?"
Someone in this neighborhood that doesn't live and die for money? I almost want to laugh. What goal guides him then? What does he stay alive for?
But I keep those questions to myself. I shouldn't get too close to a man I'll never see again.
"I want to be my own boss." I say with a soft smile. Be my own boss. Wouldn't that be nice? No more waking up with Mr. Lane's voice already echoing in my head. No more plastering fake smiles and maintaining that "professional" semblance for hours on end. "I'm tired of taking orders from other people."
I almost miss the sudden gleam in his eye.
"Now that's more like it."
---
I leave the cafe with a box of donuts in one hand and a coffee tote in the other.
I said goodbye to the stranger, happy to have shared these thoughts with someone. It strikes me that I didn't even ask his name.
I shrug. Perhaps that's the magic of moments like these. The universe puts us in places we don't expect to be in. Brings two strangers together and they realize maybe this meeting was just what they needed today. The man got his coffee and I...I was able to let my thoughts run freely.
At least for a while.
"And now we abandon the fantasies and return to reality," I mutter with a sigh. I hook my pinkie with the large glass double doors of NNTV and pull the handle toward me.
There's a small audience present now, the guests for the Midnight Show. I walk around them and smile when I find Aliyah, arms crossed and eyes trained on the set, trying to catch any faults before we air.
"Al!" I call out in a whisper. She immediately looks my way, face lighting up at the sight of the coffee.
"Oh, you're a lifesaver!" She says excitedly as she takes the sweets from my hand. "Hey Joe, set this up for the crew, will ya?"
An intern shuffles forward and takes the bags anxiously to prepare a little station for the team.
"How'd you know I needed the coffee?" She smiles at me.
"Because I needed the coffee," I say with a laugh. "And you've been awake far longer than I have."
Aliyah laughs and rubs her eyes. "I forget how much time I spend here sometimes. No matter - you staying for the show tonight?"
I smile apologetically. "You know I'd love to, but I can barely keep my eyes open. I've got a long day tomorrow, I'm gonna need all the sleep I can get."
I say goodbye to the rest of the crew, smiling sheepishly as they spout *thank you*s for the late night coffee and donuts, and make my way home.
Later that night, as I lay in bed with my eyes trained on the ceiling, I feel a sudden urge to whisper these words out loud.
Please let my life be worth more than the value I add to a company.

Tumblr media
The Friday after your application is sent, you receive a response from Big Hit. Never in your wildest dreams did you ever think you would get a response this quickly, let alone with the contents therein.
"What the fuck!" you scream, nearly throwing your laptop across your bedroom.
Milo storms through the door, eyes wide with panic as she scans your bedroom for signs of an emergency. "What the fuck?"
"Exactly! Look at this!" You shove the laptop in her direction, biting your nails in anticipation.
Though trepid, Milo takes the computer from your grasp and begins to scan the screen. As her eyes reach the bottom of the email, she begins to mirror your exact expression as her jaw drops and curses fly from her lips—in multiple languages.
"Oh my—What the hell, [Y/n]!"
"I know! I know," you laugh, giddy beyond what you can control. "Read further!"
"We'd love to conduct a phone interview with you at your earliest convenience. After which, if both parties choose to go forward, we would like to do an in-person interview in Seoul. [Y/n]! This is practically a yes!"
"Not quite...but it's a start!"
Milo giddily shoves the laptop back towards you, practically bouncing in place. "Call them, call them, call them!"
Tumblr media
Two days later, you find yourself alone and on a plane bound for Seoul. The initial interview with Big Hit went extremely well. You were able to converse with a representative in both Korean and English, and went over your resume and other various technical aspects of the position.
"I have to get this out of the way," the woman spoke with a serious tone. "You're not applying for this job because you're Army, right?"
"No," you answered immediately, your voice assured. "Not at all. It's always been my dream to live in Seoul. My roommate can tell you, we've been looking for jobs for a few weeks, ever since graduation."
"Good, because I can tell you right now that we try to screen for that kind of behavior as best as we can. It's part of the interview and background check process. It has to be. I mean, it’s fine to be a fan, but for the safety of the members, we have to make sure that no fanatics are hired and get close to them. A very small percentage of the company interacts with them at all, let alone regularly, but I had to ask."
She seemed overly concerned about that part, and you're not quite sure she believed you. Other than that, you feel that it couldn't have gone better. In fact, you were certain. Why else would they pay for you to fly to Seoul for an in-person interview, which she described as the final part of the hiring process?
You can't help the nervous tingles that travel along your neck and down your spine. The excitement fills your fingers and toes, and you struggle to keep still in your seat. Things are finally moving forward. The dream you've had since you were a child is finally coming to fruition. Everything is falling into place.
But another part of you recalls the literal dream that's occupied your mind for just as long, a subconscious memory or recollection that hasn't left for years. How much longer can you take this nightmare? Isn't it normal for people to have other dreams, not just the same one over and over and over?
The man with the dark, curly hair. The murderer with a gun. The museum halls and flowing blood and untimely demise.
This Taehyung, this member of BTS, what will happen when—or if—you meet? Will he recognize you, too? Will he tell you he has that same nightmare? Will he know why you are connected, despite having never met or heard of each other?
You shake your head, trying to focus on what lies ahead as the plane starts to descend through the air. If you do land this job at BigHit, then you can look for the answers you so desperately seek. If this is meant to be, you'll get what you're looking for. One way or another. Of that, you are sure.
That same part of you is terrified of what you might find when you do.
Or what will become of you if you don't.
You're the first to grab your overhead luggage and exit the plane. After navigating security and international check-ins, you spot a short-haired woman in a suit holding a sign over her head. Your name is written in big, bold letters.
As you approach, the woman smiles and greets you with a bow. "You must be Ms. [Y/l/n]?"
You nod eagerly, offering her the same greeting. "Lovely to meet you...?"
"I am Director Hyeon, I head Human Resources for Big Hit Entertainment. We spoke on the phone earlier this week. Please, follow me."
Doing as Director Misun Hyeon asks, you're escorted to a car parked along the sidewalk outside the airport. The Director tells the driver to take your bags and return to Big Hit HQ. Along the way, she makes small talk about your trip and the life you have in America. She's very professional and reserved, but also very sweet, instantly putting you at ease for your interview.
When the car drives up to the enormous, glass building in downtown Seoul, you're taken aback by the monstrous size of Big Hit headquarters. You knew they were a large company, staffing over five hundred people from your research, but seeing the sight in person has an entirely different effect.
"We just moved into this building this year," Director Hyeon states with a hint of pride. The car turns the corner and descends into the private underground garage. "The company has outgrown the last building, so when our contract was up, we knew we would need to expand."
"How many floors does it have?" you say, gawking at the many floors, both above and below you.
"Nineteen above, seven below," she replies, exiting the car. "Out interview will be on the top floor, so you can have a look at the view."
Director Hyeon wasn't kidding when she said there's a view. The entire penthouse level of the new Big Hit office is lined with floor-to-ceiling windows. Light streams in, ricochetting off the glassy surfaces to toss rainbows across the room. Peering down from the walkway, you see the expansive Seoul City spread out below. Everything looks so much smaller from two-hundred feet in the air. So beautiful, it's enough to take your breath away.
You have to get this job. After seeing this place, there's no other path you can see ahead of you.
The Director escorts you to her office, a room encased by another series of glass panels to give the illusion of privacy. Across from her, you can see several other offices of similar design. She asks you take a seat, getting you a cup of coffee as you make yourself comfortable.
In your mind, the interview couldn't have gone better. You were confident and assured of your abilities, and you have the grades and some experience to back it up. And the fact that you hit it off well with Director Hyeon doesn't hurt either.
As you finish up, she hands you the official memo on the position. "These are some of the tasks you'll be asked to do," she states, then continues to briefly overview what's on the page. "Your position would be Production Assistant, but that can mean doing just about anything, either in office, on tour, or on scene with one of the shows. You would do translation work, both ahead of time for press releases and social media as well as on the spot translations during events or interviews. And as I mentioned, you would handle the BTS official social medias for the English audience. They can post what they want, but they have been told to work with you on captions, tags, content, and the like."
She continues, "We're about to start work on a new album after the boys take a few weeks off from all the work they did on the last tour. When that happens, you might tag along in the studio and assist in various things there. When Bon Voyage or Run BTS begins shooting, you'll assist there. I know that word is vague, but I can promise it'll be more than just doing coffee runs or cleaning up after the boys." She laughs at that last part. "We have other people for that. What we need is someone that can really get into the trenches of the boys' work and help where needed, especially when it comes to the language barrier."
"Hence the bi-lingual requirement," you add.
Director Hyeon nods. "Exactly! So, I know this is a lot to take in, but we really are interested in you. We wouldn't have flown you all the way out here if we weren't. I do have a couple of other candidates I want to interview over the next day or so, but I have a feeling that you're our top pick. If you're willing to hang around Seoul for the next, say, forty-eight hours—all expenses paid, of course—I can give you a definite answer. Are you interested, Ms. [Y/l/n\?"
With a determined smile and eager nod, you reply, "More than you can imagine."
Tumblr media
Finding things to do in Seoul isn't difficult at all. In fact, the rest of the day goes by pretty quickly. After the Big Hit driver takes you to your hotel and helps you carry your bags to your room, you take the rest of the evening to go out and explore the city. The food, the festivities, the feelings: if this is going to be your new home, you want to see it all.
The next day, knowing that you probably won't hear from Director Hyeon until the following day, you set back out into the city with a plan to see as many of the sights as possible. The night before, you'd laid in bed and made a plan of attack to take on Seoul. While knowing you wouldn't get to nearly all the spots you wanted, you made a list of the ones closes to your hotel, within walking distance.
The day was absolutely beautiful. Whether or not you got this job, you weren't going to waste your forty-eight hours in South Korea.
In the morning, you visit several historic sites—such as the green space and onetime royal burial ground at Hyochang Park, the architectural and sightseeing wonders of Seoullo 7017, and the restored 1300s fortress wall and the pedestrian gate of Sungnyemun. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant, you turn towards some of the other sights.
As you pass by City Hall, the building around the corner catches your eye. It's a large, old building crafted from concrete and bricks. It stands out from some of the more modern sights in the area. Edging closer, moving through the greenery around it, you see the name of the building come into perfect view.
Seoul Museum of Art.
Without thinking too hard about it, your feet take you towards the museum. You can't put your finger on it, but like the city itself, there's something so alluring and familiar about it. This whole trip has been one big, "Haven't I been here before?" This place, however, gives you heightened feelings. Both positive and negative.
You brush it off, convincing yourself they've arisen due to jetlag and job-related nerves.
The museum is even more awe-inspiring on the inside. The expansive interior is painted white to create more of a contrast between the walls and the art. Galleries stretch out in different directions, but you're drawn to one of the open rooms a little further in.
People flutter about, quietly chatting in various languages about the temporary exhibit that takes up little space but all the focus. It's a set of several still life oil paintings by Vincent Van Gogh on lend from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. They're displayed along temporary glass walls that circulate the wing. A tour guide leads several visitors to each painting.
Your eyes trail from one to the next, but when you catch sight of a piece covered in shades of brown and orange, you halt mid-step. The painting looks so familiar to you, more than anything you've seen so far. If there is anything calling you to this place, this painting has to be it.
The card below the piece says that the name is "Vase with Honesty." Painted in autumn of 1884, it was one of Van Gogh's first still lifes.
"The name 'honesty' may refer to the translucence of the round seed pods, which turn a silvery-white colour in the autumn," the plaque reads. "They then resemble silver coins, and in Dutch this plant is called the judaspenning, 'coin of Judas'. This is a reference to the apostle Judas, who betrayed Christ for 30 pieces of silver. He is said to have thrown the coins to the ground when he hanged himself. Where they landed, the honesty plant later grew."
Minutes later, after the tour guide and most of the patrons have moved on to other exhibits, you're left alone with "Vase with Honesty."
Almost alone.
Another person remains to your right, a few feet between you. Out of the corner of your eye, you see that it's a figure dressed in black sweatpants and a grey hoodie. His face is hidden by the hood, as well as a face mask that covers everything from his jaw to just under his eyes. This man is a half-foot taller than you, you estimate, and while you can't see his face, he also feels inexplicably familiar.
Like you, the art-loving, stranger's eyes are glued to this one particular painting. And like you, his gaze is that of both confusion, realization, and familiarity.
"I feel like I've seen this somewhere else," you murmur, trying to break the silence. Normally, you would've kept quiet, but there's something about this person that leads you to speak up. "It's familiar, isn't it?"
The man nods once, not replying verbally.
"Have you ever seen it before?"
"No," he responds in a quiet whisper, then gestures to the brochure in his hand. "This painting hasn't been here since 1995. It's come back for the first time in twenty-five years."
"Wow, really?"
He nods again. "The brochure says that the Van Gogh Museum hasn't lent out most of its art since then. I overheard one of the tour guides saying something about an accident at this Musem that caused them to recall all their temporary exhibits."
You shift your eyes from the stranger to the painting. "Then how could I know this one so well? I was born in 1995 for god's sake."
"I was, too, so I don't know...maybe we saw it online or something."
"It feels stronger than that," you insist, wrapping your arms around yourself to ease the chill crawling up your spine at the thought of whatever might have happened here in 1995. "Do you know what happened twenty-five years ago?"
"One of the artists working at the Museum was murdered."
Your head jerks back around to stare at the man, wide eyes locking briefly with his dark irises. "Murdered?"
He nods and gestures to the exhibit with the brochure. "That's why they started showing them in glass casings. If you look close to the corner, you can see a tiny, bloody fingerprint."
Turning back to the Van Gogh piece, you step closer, squinting your eyes at the bottom left corner where the man gestured. Sure enough, at the very edge, a smear of crimson in the shape of a fingerprint can be seen.
"What the hell?" you gasp, eyes widening again. "Hey, do you mind if I see that broch—"
Your sentence falls off at the end as you turn. The space behind you where the stranger once stood is empty. He is nowhere in sight, and his familiar aura has gone with him.

Kim Namjoon- Mixing Business With Pleasure (Office AU) Part 1
REQUEST FROM PROMPT LIST- RIGHT HERE
Leggo!
If this sounds familiar it probably is, I’m not in a creative space today since my request box is emptyyyyy. A part of this was inspired by a scene in the Webtoon let’s play where Sam stands up to Charles and it’s still to this day my most favorite part of that Webtoon. Like yes girl, tell him! Gosh I loved her aah!
Also I know that nobody probably cares but would anyone like me to post a playlist of my inspiration/writing list. I kind of want you all to know what goes through my brain when I’m typing. I’m probably gonna do it anyways so just like yah
...
You were grateful your aunt had managed to get you a job here, she just didn’t tell you what a complete bully the boss was. You liked to stay out of his way other than do what you were supposed to, bring him papers and what not.
That didn’t stop your constant run-ins though. He was pretty cold. You were surprised that his heart wasn’t made of ice either. He shamelessly used his charm to get out of getting his ass kicked though and it baffled you.
“Get it done.” Namjoon slammed the folder down onto the desk of the girl next to you. “Or you’re fired.”
“Y-yes sir!” the girl looked like she was on the verge of a freakout as she began typing. “You.” he pointed to you. “When you of the phone with Mr. Jung, bring the report to my office.”
“Yes sir.” you said, holding back the urge to roll your eyes.
You had a history with Namjoon, that dated all the way back to high school. You didn’t like going back in the past but it was no mystery why he was the way he was. It had nothing to do with you, but since you were the best friend of the girl he was dating with (who dumped him), it got you some...points. That’s another story though.
...
“Mr. Ki-”
“So you got it done?” Namjoon took the documents from you.
“Yes sir.” you replied. “He said that he will definitely be working with you in the future, I just had to convince him...by that I mean beg.” you mumbled.
“Is that a new perfume?” he suddenly asked. “You smell different.”
“Uh...yeah.” you trailed off. “Is that an issue? Is the smell too-”
“No...It’s nice. It fits you, you should wear it more often.” he looked down at the papers. Your silence made him speak further. “It was a compliment Y/N.”
“Oh..thank you sir.” you said. “I’ll get back to work.” you smiled, bowing a little. You exited the office, about to go back to your desk when you were blocked.
Office mean girl, no stupid wannabe korean drama lifestyle if fit without them. Don’t forget the useless, brainless followers to match.
“It looks like my computer is malfunctioning, so I hope you don’t mind me asking you do send out some emails for me.” she said. Whatever the hell her name was.
“Um, I have my own work to do and doing your work doesn’t seem like a fun time.”
“Well either fix my computer or do my work, there’s no in between.” she looked bored.
“How about a fist between the eyes.” you suddenly found yourself saying.
“Ugh! How violent!”
“You have been a pain in my ass since the day I met you, you know that” you asked. “Why Mr.Kim hired you I will never understand since you don’t have the capacity to-.”
“Are you jealous of her Y/N.” her friend said cut you off, smirking. “You didn’t get the promotion you wanted and now your all mad.”
“Hm...Y/N can’t help it that she’s mediocre and oops!-”
You were suddenly greeted by the feeling of something hot, thankfully not burning liquid. you sniffed your now brown stained shirt. Coffee.
“What’s going on here!?” You heard Mr. Kim storm in upon hearing the round of “OOOOOHHSS” from onlookers
Namjoon was surprised to say the least to see you standing there, soaking wet.
“Oh No...I’m sorry! It was an accident.” she laughed, not knowing Namjoon was watching the two of you. You could see him out the corner of your eye....and y’know what...fuck it. Namoon saw the coffee dripping down from your hair to your clothes....fuck...it
Crack!
You wanted to say you weren’t aware of what you were doing in that moment but you knew full and well what you were doing and why. You had enough of her constant belittlement and sabotage of your work. You didn’t care if you had gotten fired that day, in fact that would only add to the victory. It just felt good to feel her nose crack under the force of your knuckles.
“Oh my god! She punched me! My nose!!!” she screeched, pointed at you.
“YOU WANT ME TO DO IT AGAIN!” You threatened getting closer. She could only scramble to back away. No one came to her aid or anything, they were too busy looking at you. “I HAVE HAD IT WITH YOU. I’VE HAD IT WITH THIS JOB,  AND I AM DONE!”
She looked up and saw Namjoon and instantly pointed at you. “She’s crazy!! She punched me for no reason! Fire her!!!” she cried. “She started it!” she lied.
“Y/N...a word please?” he said lowly, a glare etched on his face. Begrudgingly, you followed, crossing your arms. You looked around, your fist clenched. “If none of you have any work to do, I’ll be happy to give you a stack of paperwork.” he barked. You walked into Namjoon’s office, only to hear him slam the door shut. “Now before I lash out and fire you, I’m assuming you’re aware of the company policy of no fighting?”
“Fire me??!?! You’re seriously talking about firing me?!?!” you laughed in an over-exaggerated tone, but really you were fighting back new emotions welling up.
“Are you crying?” he asked, looking taken aback. “Y/N L/N Are you really crying right now?!?!”
“...I’m covered...head to toe...in hot coffee and the first time I defend myself, you’re threatening to fire me!. What the hell do you think I’m doing?!!? Have you any idea what goes on outside your office walls!!!”
“I know that I saw you react to playground bullying by breaking a presteigious worker’s nose.” he said as if what he was was factual.
“Y-you think that idiot is presteigious, she’s been getting everyone to do her job for her since she was even hired!” your office voice was gone and the real Y/N was starting to break free. “You’d have to be real fucking stupid to think she’s anything other than useless.”
Before you could say another word, Namjoon began unbuttoning his shirt. “Take off your shirt.” he sighed.
“I’m sorry?” your eyes widened.
“Your shirt is covered in coffee and you are not returning to work looking. So take off your shirt and put this one on.” he said again, holding out the shirt he had just taken off his body. “I keep a spare in my briefcase.”
. “I’m going to have a word with Ms.Na.” he exited the room.
Ah so what was her name...
...
The next day you had walked into the building, still very upset from yesterday. Namjoon had called you into his office with a proposition...
“Apologize!?!?!” You were taken aback at his words. You had leaned against the door with your arms crossed. “You’re kidding, right?”
“Yes. Ms.L/N” Namejoon warned. “Please don’t raise your voice at me. I only saw what I saw and if what i saw was you punch Ms. Na in the nose, then I have to set punishments accordingly.”
“Oh so forget the fact that she just poured hot coffee on my head an tried to degrade me-”
“You know what Ms.L/N, you leave me no choice-”
“ NO! Do You know what Mr.Kim. Instead of being standoffish and rude to people why don’t you try being nice for once in your miserable life. Has it ever occured to you that maybe being kind and actually smiling for one would actually make you a few friends. Maybe you want me to apologize to her because you and her are one and the same. You aren’t afraid to be mean and hateful towards people if it means you get what you want! People aren’t scared of you’re because you’re the boss, they’re scared of you because all you do is bully and scare people into think they’re gonna lose their jobs if they don’t do what you want. Well you know what? I am fed up! Fire me if you want but I refuse to stand by and let you or anyone bully me anymore! I refuse to apologize to that little brat and if you think for one second I will then you have lose your mind,” you spat, exhaling sharply. You had said everything in one breath so you had no idea what you said. “...S-Sir.” you added on politely.
Oh no, now that came out of nowhere, oh man...oh man oh man oh man.
Mr.Kim’s face was blank or at least blank in the sense that he wasn’t glaring into your soul. Suddenly, he smirked. He began laughing a little too. He reached out his hand, smirking a little. He untucked your shirt that you hadn’t bothered to fix and straightened out your collar.
“Hm...Spoken like a true future boss. So You finally stand up to me.” he chuckled. “I knew I liked you Y/N” he bit his lip. He laughed a little straightened up your necklace. “Maybe I should have given you that promotion.” he sighed.
“Then why didn’t you?” you asked, raising an eyebrow.
“I was testing you.” his fingertips moved up to move your hair out of your face. “And I think you just may have passed. However, you can’t be a boss without looking the part.”
“So...does this mean I get to keep my job?”
“Yes Y/N.....” he chuckled. “You can keep your job.”
“Mr. Ki-” the door opened and since you were standing in front of the door.
“Ack!” you stumbled forward, falling right into Namjoon’s arms. Your noses bumped against one another, his lips brushing yours momentarily.
“Oh, it looks like you two are busy sooo-” the door closed.
You yanked yourself back, standing up straight. “I am so sorry sir! I didn’t mean to- I fell...I’m just....Bye now!” You squeaked, bolting out of the room.

DOT NET Core is an amazing framework that gives developers a versatile and efficient environment for their Word Add-ins development . It includes the Office.js library, which is a set of JavaScript APIs designed specifically for the development of Office Add-ins. These APIs may be used in conjunction with .NET Core to create cross-platform compatible Add-ins operated on various platforms including Windows, macOS, and web browsers.
.NET Core allows developers to leverage powerful tools and pre-built libraries to create robust and scalable add-ons for Excel, Outlook, Word, and other O365 platforms. Moreover, they can also be integrated with other Microsoft products and services, such as Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms.

A Warning about Potential Vigilante Activity Very serious reports have surfaced of a vigilante group who has been performing overnight patrols, violently engaging with fellow citizens, and trespassing onto government and private property without authorization. No members of the group, yet unnamed according to current knowledge, have been identified by are said to typically don dark street clothing and conceal their faces care of upturned hoods. The Ministry reminds all citizens that it DOES NOT ENDORSE vigilante justice activities and that serious penalties are in place for those that engage, up to and including sentenced time in Azkaban prison. The Auror and other departments of the government have full faith in their abilities to deal with the growing, mysterious acts of violence that have been seen throughout the past two years and reminds its citizens that the best way for them to help in making our world a safer place is to obey curfew, keep their heads down, and remain trustful of the proper authorities.
Break-Ins Declared a Hoax – By Vince Sinclair After an ongoing investigation into the string of break-ins happening in both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade Village, the Ministry of Magic has officially declared the case closed and has stated that it warrants no further examination or resources. Citing a lack of evidence, motive and a common thread between the crimes, the Ministry has tentatively chalked the incidents up to teenage mischief. All citizens are reminded to lock and ward their doors overnight.

POLITICAL NEWS
Muggle Queen's Corgi Turns Into Hamster – By Vince Sinclair The Muggles were left scratching their heads today as their Queen's corgi changed into a hamster. Luckily enough for us they just thought that the corgi had been stolen and a hamster put in its place as a cruel joke. There if now a full scale hunt on for the real corgi which, of course, will not be found. The Ministry of Magic are looking into this matter. The Improper Use of Magic Office have a few suspects they are questioning about the incident. A motive for the attack if not known but further attacks on public Muggle figures would not help us one bit. The International Federation of Warlocks is also meeting to discuss the incident. The Daily Prophet will keep you up to date on further news on that story tomorrow. [source]
St. Culpo Makes Splash in Improper Use Department In a position made available to her following the special Wizengamot election win by former competitor Piper Moonfall, the youthful Ms. St. Culpo has been making waves as Auror Department liaison for the Improper Use of Magic Office. Staying true to her original campaign strategy slogan of ‘equal society, happier world,’ Ms. St. Culpo has scheduled a series of workshop sessions with the Auror Department to examine the way marginalized communities in the Wizarding World are delivered justice, as well as a planned panel from notable financial experts from Ministries abroad about policies that can move the needle on income disparity without triggering inflation.
Norwood Examines Statute of Secrecy Another candidate keeping true to her original platform is newly-minted Wizengamot member Tara Norwood. Sources within the council have informed the Daily Prophet that Norwood is seeking preemptive votes for a forthcoming bill that would tighten the Statute of Secrecy to no longer allow muggleborn members of the Wizarding community to disclose their magical status to members of even their immediate families without consequence.

THE SOCIETY PAGES
A Wedding Date Set A date of 23 July, 1978 has been officially announced for the nuptials of Mr. Rodolphus Lestrange – eldest son of Tiernan Lestrange and his wife, and heir to the Lestrange family – and Miss Bellatrix Black, eldest daughter of Cygnus Black and his wife, Druella. The couples ask that, in lieu of gifts, any well-wishers may donate to a charitable cause close to their own heart, particularly if their heart is close to the Society for the Preservation of Historical Magic, which both Mrs. Lestrange and Mrs. D Black sit on the board of. The family wishes to remind the general public that the event is invitation-only, although unaffiliated well-wishers are still welcome to send charitable donations or a card of congratulations.
The Sisters’ Keeper Pureblood society watchers – aided, in part, by unofficial tabloid The Rumor Mill – have noted the apparent breakup of rising political consultant Sebastian Nott and Andromeda Black, the yet-unpromised second daughter of Cygnus Black and his wife, Druella. Curiosity was recently generated when Mr. Nott was seen out to dinner in Hogsmeade visiting with Cygnus and Druella’s youngest daughter, Narcissa Black, in the stead of her older sister.

Die Power Add-ins von Excel 365
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Was tun?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Das Rätsels Lösung: Power Pivot Button im Register Daten.
Was kann denn Power Query?
Dazu zählen u.a. folgende Aufgaben:

Laughing at this article because I’ve had a couple of run-ins with red-winged blackbirds this summer while hiking in the prairies. They warn me first with their yelling, but when I continue hiking along the path, they fly toward me aggressively while yelling, landing on a branch closer and then closer. I figure I’m near a nest, so I just walk faster. But it is a little disconcerting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Excerpt from this Wall Street Journal story:
More than 250 million of the birds live across North and Central America, and this summer some are feeling extra aggressive toward human neighbors—driving them to change walking routes, wear protective headgear or furiously wave arms above their heads as they jog.
“You talk to people about being attacked by birds, and they look at you like you’re crazy,” says Mr. Vedder, a 60-year-old programmer. “This is ‘The Birds’ all over again, but it’s real!”
Many people who have long lived in harmony with the birds have noticed an uptick in their aerial assaults this season. Bird-on-human attacks are growing more common as people encroach on their habitats, says Lori Naumann, information officer at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
As red-winged blackbirds nest from April to the end of July, it is the males’ job to defend their mates and young. “It’s kind of like getting between a mama bear and her cub,” Ms. Naumann says.
Parks departments and natural resource offices across several states also recorded an increase this spring of hawk and wild-turkey attacks.
Crows can turn hostile to protect fledglings. CrowTrax, an interactive online map, tracks their attacks across the world. Anyone can add a crow to the map and tell a story of bird violence.
“Just about everybody has an example of a crow attack,” says Jim O’Leary of Vancouver, British Columbia, who started CrowTrax in 2016 after a crow turned his neighborhood into a war zone, he says.
He has received more than 5,000 reports, with a slight increase this year, but that hasn’t helped him avoid attacks. “The crows don’t look at the website.”
