This is "Molder." Help yourself to some skin, some repetition, something true.

The house next door is cursed. Everyone who moves in dies. Tomorrow night is a full moon. The month is October. Don't you get it? Last year a family of four, all found murdered. One in a bathtub of blood. The other hanging in the attic. Etc., etc. The cat was dissected on the patio. Someone at work—eh, why should I protect him? It was Steve—said it sounds like somebody is a dog person. What? I swear some nights you can smell iron in the air. Like a rusty river. A raccoon crawled across the lawn last night. I watched him on the doorbell cam. He looked like a small man crawling around outside. Looking for someone to drain of blood. Couldn't sleep at all. This neighborhood is going down the tubes. It has come to my attention that there is an underground theory among some online people that the president is a vampire. Has been for years and years. Is in fact, George Washington. Every four or eight years, depending on mood or culture, he changes shape. Look at the pictures online. They're there. It's halfway convincing. By morning I feel like I just lost a bunch of money at a casino. That groggy, scraped out, rolled-over and poked with a stick feeling. November will be here soon, with its dead hues, its brown tastes. Who will sit around the family dinner table? Whoever will be left. It's just been one of those years. We all need someone to wake us up from the dream that molders into a fresh, green spring.

世界初のVaporwaveガイドブック『蒸気波要点ガイド』(DU BOOKS刊)や、米国Vaporwaveアーティストの来日公演『NEO GAIA LEGEND』を手がけた東京の電子音楽レーベル〈New Masterpiece(ニュー・マスターピース)〉。2024年9月25日に設立11周年を迎えた本レーベルがこのたび、東京Forestlimitに続き京都のライブスペース・外でもパーティーを開催します。

元来New Masterpieceは2013年7月に東京・京都にて開催したWOODMAN『One Loop Beyond』のリリパから発展・設立されたレーベルであり、関西での開催は実に11年ぶり。

新作CDアルバム『Domestic Science』をリリースしたばかりのtakyaとshowgunnがDJで、東京リリパ時に結成された電子音響ユニット・EARTH 0からセキグチサトルがソロライブで上洛。 彼らを迎えるライブアクトには11年前の京都でのリリパにも出演したRUBYORLAをはじめ、AcidGelge、Molderといった本レーベルゆかりのアーティストが登場。テクノ、ヒップホップ、アンビエント、電子音響など幅広くお送りいたします。
