What an awesome game. It's been a while since I played it, but I suddenly got the urge to draw the girl.

I tried following the game’s vibes, so I used a charcoal-like brush.

Biden may claim he’s pardoning his family as a defense against political persecution, but we know for a fact he’s pardoning Fauci because the man perjured himself before Congress. Biden had to pardon Fauci because Anthony Fauci is a liar and a felon who crushed our people under his thumb for two years to cover his own ass. and I won’t call him a bastard because it would be an insult to bastards.

thinking about wallace wells. thinking about going through hook ups like tissue paper, never believing anybody will stick around besides scott, who's here only because he has nowhere else to go, and you let him stay anyway even though he doesnt pay the rent. one of the only consistent people in your life, someone you might've actually genuinely liked straight up dying and leaving you with a sudden void of an empty apartment and a cold spot in a futon. thinking about immediately getting wasted and bringing a guy home, someone whose name you won't remember but it's okay because youre only in it for the sex— you dont believe in sparks, after all. believing that scott's conception of his one true girl was a joke because you just don't think you'll ever love anyone like that. kissing someone on a movie set because it's something to do, because he's dressed in the costume of somebody you cared for, because it's all manufactured, false realities and layers of separation deep enough for you to brush off his pleas for connection. thinking about going to paris after everything, the city of love, as tacky as that is, saying you're only there to spend money. but despite the insistence on irony you meet a guy— a fellow canadian, actually, twin foreigners in an unfamiliar place. someone who actually wants to stick around, who follows you through the city to see the sights and seems to genuinely like you. it can't be genuine, though— can't possibly be a reason to stay beyond a few hookups. so you stop at the river and you kiss him to get it over with...

but instead you see sparks.

— ;; FRENZIED SCUTTLING ACCOMPANIED BY SHUDDERING breaths that struggle to control and quiet themselves are what Tails’ senses adjust to the moment his presence finds the doorway of the bedroom. Skidding onto his knees in front of the bed, Chronos quickly helps Kit slip into his shoes, panicked apologies muttered betwixt sobs and gasps.

❝I– I never meant for any of this to happen, oh God,❞ tightening those looped laces on his little brother's sneakers, he twists to continue stuffing the duffel bag with their things, ❝you know I wouldn't hurt you, r-right? I'm sorry I never told you what a bad person I was but I'm trying now— really really trying, and—❞

— ;; INCHES FROM A COMPLETE MELTDOWN already, noting the extra body in the room suddenly, wide eyes slowly trail up gangling legs until he's locked gazes with Tails a third time. Nausea peaks and he bursts into a fit of coughs, throwing a hand over his mouth to muffle the sound.

❝I-I'm sorry—❞ heaving as crimson leaks through tightly shut fingers from that vicious hacking fit, drooling onto the wood below, he attempts, to the best of his abilities, to address their savior, ❝I didn't mean— I-I wasted your time and— I know I'm not good but please don't let Kit get hurt, I—!❞

— ;; JAGGED, DELIRIOUS SENTENCES, HALF-FINISHED, are all he can get out before his body buckles fully, and hands hit the floor with knees, gasping in ailed exhaustion.

Tails watches as Chronos runs out of the room with Kit in tow, scowling as Robotnik continues to talk. "You're lucky I'm here and not my robot, you bastard." he mutters. He detaches the Hydraulic Fist attachment from his robot arm, allowing his hand free movement once more as he reaches down and grabs Robotnik by the back of his head, fingers digging into the skin hard against the doctor's skull.

"Now, I'm only going to say this once, so put that self-proposed IQ of yours to good use and listen good; I don't care who comes after them. I don't care if you send your robots, or if you manage to get the Zone Cops at my doorstep. I don't care if you yourself rock up to my laboratory with the intent of a break-in. I'm not letting anything happen to these kids. And if I catch wind that you so much as think about doing anything...

"There won't be a Robotnik in any Zone that doesn't feel what I do to you."

With no hesitation and nothing more to say, Tails would move to slam Robotnik's face into the floor, the springs in his arms releasing to add additional force to the smash. Whether it would knock him out or just break his nose, the fox neither knew nor cared. Right now, this was about keeping Chronos and Kit safe.

...And maybe a little catharsis to work out his own troubles, but that was certainly a lesser point.

With that, he stands up straight and dusts himself off. He looks over at Chi and whistles, the little robot moving over to the destroyed computer in an attempt to see what data it can salvage. While that's happening, Tails moves to head out of the lab to go and check in on Kit and Chronos.
