Day 14
Like a normal day I woke up at 6:15. Got ready for my daily workout and was ready on time. Today i found cycles luckily but that cycle was totally making me mad! The lock of the cycle was not opening. I tried hard and it took me 15 mins to open that hard lock which gave me really hard time. After cycling for like half n hour i was drenched in sweat. Later today I started with my upperbody workout! Its painfull in beginning but i know it's all worth it! I did plank, arm rotation ,knee pushups and some mild exercises for 10 mins. My body is aching a lot. I even got muscle weakness in the evening making me unable to move my arm. But it also disappeared in sometime. Still mild weakness persist. But this mild weakness won't stop me from working on. Im not being hard on myself I work till my body permits me to do so! I hope tomorrow also I'm able to perform my upperbody work out! Starting off with 10 min workout will increase the time very slowly and as per my body permits me to do!
Knowing needs of my body and strength is really important factor for me as well as from any myasthenia gravis patient!
See you tomorrow with my next blog :)
Keep smiling;)

An aggressive day with Myasthenia Gravis!
Myasthenia Gravis' sounds simple and seems like a minor neuro disorder right? It's not that simple and neither it's common. It's a rare neuromuscular disorder that impairs the muscle movement or action by not letting signals from the brain reach the muscles. It can make your muscles so weak that you fail to do the simplest tasks. Mysthanea Gravis symptoms varies through out the day. It may be okay in morning and worsens as day passes. Some days are really bad.. how do we beat a bad day with aggressive symptoms?
Let me share my experience of my bad day..
I was diagonised with myasthenia gravis before a month and a half. Symptoms were not very obvious initially and seemed like an optical nervous issue. However the symptoms became a bit severe with double vision, also known as " Diplopia". This progressed pretty fast and resulted in slurring of speech one day, weakness of my left cheek and restricted hand movements.
It was a normal morning and I woke up like always, cheerful and chirpy eagerly waiting for my morning classes. Had a glass of juice, omlette and my medicines. All and sudden my vision started yo change. I realized it was double vision. It worsened with every passing hour. This affected my reading and I was not able to focus on classes. My arms weakened and then it was a nightmare. passed it was getting worse i started seeing letters double as well and was not able to read properly. As day progressed i started to experience weakness in my arm. The weakness was mild initially and later my face drooped. I started feeling depressed.
All that I could do is rest. The only way to curb this is rest. I will share how I regained my confidence, ability to think beyond this disorder and continue my life normally in my next blog.
There is always a way to break every obstacle.
Thanks for reading!
Spread positivity
