I’m gonna regret posting this but who cares I have the brain rot of Pokémon and MK1 I needed to draw something I’ve had artblock for a Christmas art piece 😭 (click for better quality hopefully)

I got bored and decided to draw Johnny Cage and Kenshi from Mortal Kombat as Pokémon. Kenshi is a Lucario, specifically Mega Lucario atm, and Johnny is a Shiny Standard Form Meowth (With Alolan Meowth’s pose though I tried so hard to get the pose I wanted to work but everything kept looking bad so I gave up)

This was just something fun I wanted to do, I don’t think I’ll do any other characters besides MAYBE Reptile/Syzoth

GRACIE WAS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!!!!! her music just translates really well live and she was so adorable and excited and just amazing. the set list was fantastic and she did every song from the secret of us and uuuuuuugh.

also she had a whole speech in the middle about voting and she's partnered with planned parenthood and a voter registration group and had voter registration at the show and just urged everyone to make sure they're registered and vote and then asked how many of us were childless dog/cat ladies and SO MANY PEOPLE cheered. like it was really nice to be at a show in texas and hear so many young people (mostly girls and women) excited about voting and in particular voting for things gracie was talking about - it gives me so much hope!!!!!!

For once in his life, Peter had managed to be early. Already sitting in his and Harry's (and MJ's, when she came here too) usual booth at Joe's Pizza, the usual order put in, and two glasses of each of their respective soda of choice sitting on coasters on the table. He'd even managed to have enough forethought to warn Miles that he was going to be unavailable for an hour or two while he hung out with his best friend now that he was back. True, if there was a real emergency he'd find an excuse to bow out early, but he was just so excited to finally have Harry back.

Engrossed in something on his phone he didn't notice that Harry had walked in until he sat across from him at the booth. "Oh! Hey, sorry- I was just asking MJ what she wanted me to make tonight if we've both got time to have dinner at her place. They're already cooking our pizza, though."

Honestly I think so many people just have bad EVA opinions??? Maybe it was just the edgy chan culture at the time the show was popular but I don't understand how people can watch NGE and think. "Wow this Shinji kid sure is annoying he should stop complaining so much" like HELLO?? He has literally experienced the pain of being shot and having his limbs pulled off etc like fatal fucking injuries. And he goes through all this shit and is so clearly traumatized and everybody is such an asshole to him, his mom's dead, Asuka is a bitch, Rei isn't even a real person and his dad is notoriously the most abusive anime dad of all time. The closest thing he has for support is Misato who's a barely functioning alcoholic and still at the end of the day kowtows to her superiors and will throw Shinji under the bus if she absolutely has to. I'm sorry but I think Shinji can cry and complain as much as he wants

theres a bloodswap au in my head the last few days...... general concept is swapping the sister zodiac signs (so aries/libra, taurus/scorpio, etc) and the roleswapped team charge vs team scourge is driving me CRAZYYYY u have no idea. doing it like terezi megido/vriska nitram/aradia pyrope/tavros serket where the kids have the same powers and grow up in the same situation as their counterpart (and swapped horns) BUT keep most of their personality themes weapons etc. and urgh yall ive NEVER had so many thoughts about tavros and vriska in my LIFE. tavros serket who has to kill to feed spidermom but works with aradia to find kids who are already dying or really awful ppl. and hes doing his best to convince himself hes still a good person and he HAS to do this and hes not evil for it! but hes also very brash in all the wrong ways, he gets easily riled up into reactionary behavior and while that sort of thing was justified for tavros nitram as a serket it can get. scary. vs vriska nitram who is still a shitty awful person and says terrible things to all of her friends and cant decide if she wants them to love her or hate her but this time she has a point. because tavros is a massive fucking hypocrite and shes the one in the class of people affected by him. because its lowbloods you find dying on the street its always lowbloods and hes using her people as FOOD. and he doesnt even have the globes to admit thats what hes doing

Honestly, Kamo Noritoshi and Geto Suguru can pass as child and father. Don't lie to me and say they don't, Pinterest can't separate them and I confused them in fanarts all the time (much to my dismay). Considering how Noritoshi is named after Kenjaku's old host (aka Kamo Noritoshi the Senior, aka his big bad ancestor), it's ridiculously funny that he also looks similar to Kenjaku's present host (Geto), at least when he still has his longer hair. The guy got it rough lmao

What can I use this knowledge for? I do not know yet, but the irony is so funny I just gotta say it.
