I wanna request another Secret History Mario x Reader, they could be a horrorbrew or not depending on this scenario idea. Idk part of my brain thinks that SH Mario is secretly possessive? (I could be wrong and I am just overlooking the one scene where Peach explained her now deformed state cause of Mario unable to accept the fact she cheated on him so in return, He forced surgery on her.) So, What if they got flirted on by other horrorbrew mario fam whether it be just so they can under the dictator's skin or something. How would he deal with it?

- This man is definitely something when it comes to jealousy. If you’ve seen my previous x reader based on him although it does take him a bit to be jealous that doesn’t mean he doesn’t and when he does it really is something. I kind of feel like he has stages when it comes to his jealousy. First stage is alright. He gives people the death stare and that usually does it for some people. However the more jealous he becomes the worse he gets. His behavior towards the person he’s jealous of is really bad. Considering the shit he did in his origin I wouldn’t be surprised if he does the same thing. If he needs to result to violence in order to get the person to leave you alone he would and he isn’t afraid to admit it. He won’t let anyone threaten your and his relationship.

- He pretty much trusts you that you won’t do anything with other people. Otherwise you wouldn’t have agreed to be in a relationship with him. If you were some sort of Horrorbrew he knows you won’t let that stuff slide. Even if you weren't, he knew you wouldn’t reciprocate. If you aren’t very open about expressing your feelings depending on how out forward you are he’ll settle on having your close towards him. If you don’t push him away he knows your answer to it.

- As for the Horrorbrew gang, let's just say it’s definitely something. Considering the differences between them and you (depending if you want to be a Horrorbrew yourself or not.) he definitely keeps an eye out for them. Some of the characters know how to get their way when it comes to stuff and seeing you with him you can bet they're definitely going to do some stuff in order to annoy him and definitely involve you even if you're reluctant with it. And they definitely get on his nerves and he hates it. Absolutely hate it. He doesn’t get why they do it. Well considering how sadistic some of them are he’s not surprised but still he doesn’t get them.

- When it comes to flirting some of them definitely do it on purpose. With characters like Mr Virtual, Omega (Maybe), Mr L and sometimes Luigi’s Day Out Mario. With characters like them they are definitely doing to get a reaction out of Secret History Mario. Depending on their power level like Mr Virtual and Mr L he’ll just result in telling them off which just causes them to chuckle at him knowing what they’re doing is affecting him. Is the talking going to stop them? No it won’t. They’re too much of little shits to stop, they’re enjoying the reaction they’re getting off of him. However with characters like Luigi’s Day Out Mario although he likes to tease him he does stop for a while once he gets told off by him but again like the others he still continues once Secret History Mario has his guard down.

- As for the others like Beta Luigi, Luigi’s Day Out Luigi, DJ Hallyboo and maybe MX (depends on his overall relationship with you) they don’t flirt with you (intentionally at least). Given at least two of the characters I just listed off, they probably don’t want to upset him like the others so they just leave you alone. The most they’ll do is compliment you. Surprisingly he’s actually alright with them (minus MX because just like before I think it depends on yours and his relationship) and trusts them to a certain extent.

- To be honest he doesn’t trust most of them. From what I just mentioned in my previous two points depending on who they are and if they purposefully try to flirt with you. He does his absolute best to keep you away from them only letting you be around them if he’s there and if it’s an absolute must. Of course he does let you hang out around the one’s he trusts, he doesn’t just keep you locked in a cage, he's not that heartless. For the most part.

- As mentioned in my first point, if you've seen my previous x reader based on him I pretty much said he’s pretty clingy/overly loving when he is jealous. In more ways than one. He can’t help it as long as you don’t mind it he’ll definitely be on you to make sure his love for you has been acknowledged. As long as you don’t do anything that proves you don’t love him he’s alright. If you do then he may have to do something to you, maybe not something that happened to Peach in the original video but definitely enough to make sure that you know how much he loves you and wants you.

- You do eventually somewhat get used to his possessiveness over you admittedly even though you knew his past sometimes you're still surprised at his boldness in a way at his insistence that he deserves you no one else. Honestly as possibly cringe this may seem his actions definitely make seem yandere in a way. To be honest he doesn’t care. He doesn’t care if he has to be the bad guy in order to get his point across. If it does then he will do it.

- Overall despite his behaviour sometimes towards people he doesn’t trust he does care about you in his own way and would do anything to make sure you know it. Even if it takes a while for you to do so.

Guilt Weighs Upon Your Shoulders

COZETTE RAMBLINGS UNDER THE CUT:

I have not been able to get Cozette out of my head for well over a month now. I haven't hyper fixated this much on character in a good while. Cozette is just....so interesting to me for some reason.

I've always liked her as I found her bond with Connie to be really sweet, and she felt like this wise and caring woman. And yes, while I do understand that the twist of her being Zokket is predictable( I speculated to myself that she might have something to do with him), the thing I like about it isn't because of how surprising the reveal was, but rather the layer of depth that it adds to Cozette's character that I wasn't really expecting. And it's depth that I really wish got expended upon in the game. At first, I didn't think too much of it; we now know where Cozette was all this time. But then I saw how she acted after we freed her from Reclusa's control...and then after that, I started to think about her for more than 5 minutes and realized just how sad, confusing, and messed up Cozette's situation actually is.

I..I so wish we got to learn more about Cozette throughout the game because no matter how underutilized she is, I just can't help but feel bad for her. She got corrupted in organizing the destruction of the world she loves and is supposed to protect. Separating friends and families, kidnapping people and forcing them to work in factories, spreading glolm and further separating others. All to aid the rebirth of being that wants to destroy all worlds. And she just has to live with all of that. That definitely did something to her mentally.

I can't help but think of all that. And on top of all THAT, I just feel like this was a misoppurtunity for some good and interesting character interactions. I want to know what all the Concordians think of her besides Connie and Patriarc ( who is another character that I wish got explored more), I want to know how she views the Zok troops and those memos she wrote while in the Zokket persona, I WANT HER TO INTERACT WITH EXTENSION CORPS AT LEAST ONCE.

I want to know... what exactly made Cozette fall to Reclusa's grasp in the first place. Connie asks a good question to the Great Conductor: If Cozette really was controlled by someone else, why is she taking this so personally? And while I bet it has to do with what I listed earlier, the Great Conductor mentions that it has to do with her being taken advantage of a weakness she has and I'm sitting there thinking, "Oh okay, interesting...care to elaborate on that????." From there I tried to find something, ANYTHING on what that weakness might be and just...nothing. Those Grampy turnips that give some lore tidbits on some of the major characters? They say nothing about her. Her one sidequest involves her making a decision that you can't stop her from making and comes to regret. To this day, I am still trying to figure out what that weakness is. I do have some theories.

Overall, I have this feeling that Cozette isn't entirely happy and that her story in this game isn't complete. It feels like the writers introduced this interesting concept but weren't able to expand fully on it. I can only assume they didn't as they realized how complicated of a situation it is, and it would probably draw too much attention away from the main threat, which is Reclusa. Which, do not get it twisted, Reclusa. Is. AWESOME. But I am left with a bunch of questions.

Tldr: Cozette is very interesting. I wish her character got explored a lot more.

Thinking of an AU where Luigi was never rescued from Kamek during the events of Yoshi's Island, and as a result Luigi and Bowser grow up together and end up forming a bit of a Kronk/Yzma sort of relationship.

There's a power imbalance and their moral alignments don't match up and Luigi is a bit of a screwup, but darn it he's so congenial and helpful that Bowser can't help but have him as his closest confidant for reasons that even he doesn't fully understand.

So I vaguely remember Luigi’s day out Mario calling Luigi “dumbass geek” and I was like what if he had a geeky S/O. It would kinda be like “Haha Karma came back and kicked ur butt.” Moment. Like reader doesn’t look like a stereotypical geek. She’s like very very attractive so it kind of flew under the radar and it isn’t until later into the relationship where her geekiness starts to show itself.

I feel like Luigi’s day out Mario would be having a full on crisis. He would probably be like “Oh my god I’ve been dating a geek this whole time.” type thing but in all honesty he doesn’t think it’s too bad cause reader doesn’t act like his brother so that kinda helps a bit and he also thinks it’s funny [Not in a mean way tho.] to hear her ramble about what her current interests are. Sure he might not get some of it but he likes hearing reader’s voice.

- Honestly the fact that you might possibly be a geek completely flew under his radar. I think he would be too focused that he managed to get you. You were considered very attractive by many people so the fact that he of all people managed to get with you admittedly fueled his ego a bit. He feels like he won some sort of competition with you being his girlfriend. I like to think he actually wasn’t expecting you to say yes to him. He’d probably did it in a joking way so when you accepted it he was surprised but overall played it off like ‘he knew you’d say yes’ and how ‘no one could resist him’ overall being a cocky bastard but is actually happy that you said yes but pretended to not be too affected by it.

- He’s definitely the type of boyfriend to be constantly talking about you to anyone and everyone who would listen whether they actually want to hear it or not. As I said before he’s a cocky bastard so from the day you two got together he is not going to keep his mouth shut about you. He kind of feels like he has the right to no matter how many times people complain about it. If someone does tell him to shut up he just shoots back “Aw what’s the matter? Jealous that I actually managed to get her” or “Your just mad that I got to her before you can huh?” things like that. The way he talks about you to other people honestly makes them want to punch him sometimes. He’d say things like “Imagine not having a girlfriend?” “[Name] is so beautiful, glad she’s with me.” “Don’t you wish you had a Girlfriend like [Name]? Too bad she’s with me” etc.

- Adding on from the previous point since he literally can not keep his mouth shut about you pretty much everyone knows that the two of you are dating. Ranging from strangers, his ‘friends’ and his family. Their reactions vary, some are absolutely confused at the fact the two of you are dating. How did this emo fucker managed to get someone as beautiful as you? Even his own ‘friends’ are so confused. As for his brother and mother they were very excited and happy (mostly his mother though). She pretty much acts like how every parent asks every single question about you like what your name is? What were you like? Were you pretty? Is he treating you right? And goes on and on about it even after Luigi’s Day Out Mario telling her to stop and being embarrassed at the ambush of questions. For his Brother Luigi he’s just happy for his brother. He doesn’t really have any bad opinions about it even if he did (not that he has or will) Mario would tell him to shut it.

- He’s definitely the type of person to show you off and your beauty. As soon as he spots someone eying the two of you up you can bet he’s suddenly all up in your business. He’s grabbing your hand tightly bringing you closer while giving said person a smirk while giving them a look like ‘you jealous?’ Even around people like Daisy and Waluigi. The both of them are like “dude? I know you like her but do you have to publicly show it?” and he’s like “Of course I do. How else am I supposed to show she’s my girlfriend?” He likes riling people up by doing this.

- He definitely likes to get the two of you in trouble. Sometimes he doesn’t mean to do it but just like in the original animation he’s probably doing some shit that should've grab the police attention but does he care? No. He hasn’t gotten caught yet so why does it matter? He enjoys the feeling of doing it and he enjoys it more doing it with you. That’s how he likes to spend his time with you. So do expect yourself to be in situations like jumping fences or visiting abandoned places to have smoke sessions.

- As I said in the first point, due to your attractiveness he doesn’t really acknowledge your geekiness until the two of you feel really comfortable in the relationship. He probably accidentally stumbled upon this while the two of you were hanging out (e.g. in his room or during your smoke sessions). He probably just mentions him trying to get into a new band and it just evolves into you just giving him a full blown lecture of your favourite musician. For example “I don’t know I’ve been trying to listen to other things. Been tired of listening to the same shit over and over again.” he complained while toying his finger on his guitar that he owns then you just asked him “have you listened to [insert band name] before?” he looks at you before asking “no, who are they?” then you just went into airplane mode about your love for said band. Just think of that one yapper x listener tiktok meme.

- That’s pretty much when it pretty much hit him that he’s dating a geek. As you continued to talk about said band he’s listening to every single word you're saying. Lowkey having a crisis like “Is this what I get for calling my brother dumbass geek?” But overall surprisingly besides the initial surprise he’s actually really okay with it. Like sure if it was someone else he would’ve told him to shut up but he actually really likes it. Besides some slight teasing from him he just lets you do it because he likes to think that it’s just your voice that makes it a lot more tolerable. Plus you actually look really cute doing it even if he doesn’t get what your saying half of the time.

- I feel like he would purposely try to find ways into getting you into your little sessions just to hear you talk. He likes to offhandedly mention one of your favourite shows or comics and ask you questions about a certain character or the overall plot of said show or comic. Sometimes he likes to show off your knowledge, if someone says something wrong about a topic you know he immediately pauses them and says “I’m not sure if that’s correct, what do you say [Name]?” He says teasing the other person as you talk to said person about the topic.

- I feel like he would be the type of boyfriend to do anything for you and you alone. For example if you wanted something and have been talking about it to him you can bet he’s getting it for you. Even if the thing is expensive he would get it and by that he would probably steal it but to him it’s worth it if it’s for you. He doesn’t care that much about what people say about when he does this he just tells them off and for them to mind their business.

- Pretty much the only time you get to see him outside of his dick behaviour is with you. You can see him actually seems calm around you, when the two of you are chilling together, the two of you are just up against each other as the two of you just talk about random shit and just rant about things you like or don’t like. Overall, despite being an asshole he’s actually a good boyfriend to you.
