Pomni:

With Ragatha's reassurance, Pomni reckoned that everyone acted similarly to her upon their arrival to the Digital Circus. This did ease her perturbation, though not by much & far less upon your arrival to their Digital "home".

Are you alright? Complete & utter calmness is the last reaction the jester expects from a newcomer, yet reasons that you're probably seeking to assess your situation &/or keep focus. It's quite smart really, it means you're less likely to abstract in this world, such an easygoing attitude it quite a quick way to get her attached to you.

She'll strive to stick by you as much as possible, though is willing to give you your space if asked to as she wishes not to be regarded as chafing & will at most watch you from a distance. Expect her coming to you a lot whenever she seeks comfort from one of her paranoid episodes of searching for an exit, while Ragatha is very willing to be a nice shoulder to cry on, Pomni truly feels her anxious thoughts leave whenever she's in your presence & will progressively get more antsy the longer she can't find you in the circus.

Ragatha:

She reckons herself as the peacemaker of the group from being one of the oldest to be there, though one would be forgiven (& correct) for thinking that she seems quite close to losing it at any moment. From this, she always strives to ease newcomers to their new digital home, understanding how nerve-wracking it is.

Ragatha is chiefly clueless upon your arrival. Years of seeing new faces initially scared & addled to this world has made the ragdoll has grown accustomed to introducing the new performers, downplaying the existential dread of their circumstance, whether as so they don't abstract or so her own crisis doesn't get to her is up in the air. She takes her steps forward as she usually does to new people, but doesn't know what to properly say seeing as you're not freaking out about the situation.

Seeing her around you a lot is something you'd best get used to, whether it's a short, simple chat on how you're holding up or talking about nothing within the walls of the tent, getting Ragatha to leave is quite the task. She refuses to leave you alone with Jax, as in her eyes & years of being around him, he might chip away at your sanity, small at first but grows worse over time until it's too late, claiming she's somehow surprised someone hasn't abstracted because of him.

Jax:

Nobody's sure if Jax's frequent bullying is merely an aspect of who he is or his way of coping with living in the circus, it's doesn't matter either way, he won't give a luculent answer. Jax isn't one to comfort a new face, opting to hectoring them until Ragatha stops him towards causing the other's disquietude.

Your breezy attitude doesn't deter him from his usual antics, including said frolics being thrown at you. Your lack of reaction to the prank both throws off the lavender rabbit & bemuses him, just what goes through that head of yours? His motive shift from wanting a reaction from you to seeking to see what makes you tick, what you experienced to make you have the viewpoint that you do, that makes you merely laugh at your situation rather than panic.

Jax sees fit to insert himself into conversations without a need to explain himself & brushes off any questions thrown at him, every attempt to interrogate him tends to end with Jax dragging you off with him, maybe to not start an argument with Ragatha or Zooble or perhaps he got bored of the conversation, who knows what goes on in his head. Any thought of suspect for his behavior towards you is out his head a second later, you don't seem to mind so his mind discerns no issue with his comportment & is what Jax uses as an excuse, true reason for his frequent presence around you.

Day 5 of Repostober, and I'm now realizing I should've posted these kids yesterday so I could make a stupid Day the 4th Be With You joke, because these are the six main characters from my Star Wars RP game that's been running for five years now. Quite a lot's happened to all of these kids since the last time I drew any of them, but I'll put that under a readmore.

Since the latest of these drawings, the Aravana sheet:

Sahiam and Trip went to Jedha, started modifying their stolen TIE/rp Reaper, scavenged lightsaber parts, and officially confirmed their relationship, even though Sahiam still hasn't gotten confirmation that her fiance Dovar's either dead or still in cryostasis back on Ilum. It's very complicated. Dovar's holocron is none too happy about the situation and is attempting to subtly turn Trip and Sahiam away from one another. They're currently on Nar Shaddaa trying to Force Luck their way into enough money to overhaul the Reaper and make it into a more liveable ship...and one that doesn't immediately look like a Reaper.

Meanwhile, Talon and Aravana escaped the wrath of Lucul, for the time being, spent a month in Cloud City, and also started about as much of a relationship as Talon is capable of having with another sentient being - it started off as purely a manipulation tactic on Talon's part, but then Aravana made him Actually Feel Things™, so he's having to grapple with that while still being dead set on murderdeathkilling Trip and controlling Sahiam. Aravana is stuck between regretting her life choices and being far too into Talon despite knowing the man's a violent lunatic.

And somewhere off in space, Lucul is gunning for both groups simultaneously. She's convinced at this point that Vader's got a force choke with her name on it no matter what she does, so she may as well take Talon with her, and Sahiam and Trip are her tickets to finding him.

his storyline is that he like. used to be this powerful and shitty god, who was a dick to his creation on purpose. he worked closely with luculent, though he technically didn't belong there- he just interjected himself into their domain and they never questioned it because they were too damn busy. but eventually luculent figured out that the being they helped him make was being actively tormented by the guy, so they used their ties to reincarnation to rebirth aarian on the spot

he could no longer remember any of what he did, only retaining things like vague appearance and personality traits, the power he once controlled so well, and his name. despite this, he was still shunned and exiled from that space, left to wander aimlessly while wondering what the hell he did (note that while he's much better, he's still a dogshit person. emotionally unstable, sometimes violent, overall selfish .. at least he's working on it now)

Makes me wonder who, why, and when the business was commenced.

All we wanted was to endure, to last, endurance was our name.

Prevailing among competition.

So we fought, battled struggle for our own lives,our stamina.

An open gap, fissure was led by economy.

It was 1929.

We had a small family businesses, my father, my mother, and me.

We lived the business, we slept, dozed, and smelled as same the products we vend in our store.

Sandwiches, meat, hamburgers,onion and garlic.

Tradition: the transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation, or the fact of being passed on in this way.

What your main vision, purpose, goal, mission,objectives, strategies, tactics in order to maintain, enhance, and just keep walking?

Succeed and succession, what puzzling words!

How value what is really valuable, beneficial, enriches the family owners?

Morality:principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behavior.

Ethics: moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity.

It's about love!

Organizational culture : a set of beliefs and behaviors that guide how a company's management and employees interact and handle external business transactions. Corporate culture can have a huge impact on the fortune of a company and its employees.

A cultural DNA is a collection of genetic instructions used in the growth, development, functioning and reproduction of any culture. Whenever a group of people are together they form a culture.

A Turnover of Fabrics.

THE bulky cash register at Mendel Goldberg Fabrics cannot register sales above $999.99 without a little tinkering.

Large sums must be broken into smaller amounts, which are entered separately.

Such were the times in which this register was made, an era when four-digit figures were rarely spent.

Alice Goldberg Wildes, the fourth generation of the Goldbergs to run the store, insists that they will get a computer soon. She never seems to get to it.

Whether the presence of a computer would disrupt the harmony of this preserved part of the old Lower East Side is a mystery.

This small, last-of-its-kind store, near the corner of Hester and Allen Streets, has not left family hands since Mrs. Wildes’s great-grandfather, Mendel Goldberg, founded it when he arrived from Poland in 1890.

The store is a junglelike collection of fabric-filled shelves covering entire walls. There are woolens in every color, beaded laces that sell for as much as $1,600 a yard, and uncommon fabrics that the store’s four staff members can identify with a quick glance. (Uniqueness)

In the basement, off-season and overstock fabrics are stored beside unsold fabrics from as far back as the 1950s.

It is one of the few stores in the city to specialize solely in fine imported European textiles.

Mrs. Wildes, who is in her 50s, personally buys all fabrics on trips to Europe. She closely guards the identities of the suppliers she visits. “I have formed these relationships over many years,” she says of her contacts. “You cannot buy what I have anywhere else in the city.”( Differentiation)

Her customers — costume designers from Broadway shows, rabbis from Brooklyn, uptown socialites — come to Mendel for exclusive fabrics that will become theirs alone.

On a recent afternoon, Mrs. Wildes helped one of her regular clients (an Upper East Side socialite) pick out fabrics for four suits and a cocktail dress. Mounting piles of French bouclé and bright Italian silk print surrounded them. They engaged in a dance for almost an hour: The client would excitedly point to fabrics that allured her; Mrs. Wildes would pull them, spread them across the client’s chest and then, usually, sternly say “no.” Rebuttals sometimes ensued at length but often ended with the client ceding to Mrs. Wildes’s judgment. “I have made very few mistakes here,” the client said. “Very few.”( Costemisation or Taylor Made Strategy)

“I like everything to be classy,” Mrs. Wildes said of the fabrics in her store, “but it has to have a kick. I buy what I like.”

The client nodded. “She buys what she likes.”( Freedom of Options).

Mrs. Wildes’s father, Samuel Goldberg, sat quietly on a nearby table piled high with tubes of fabric. Standing by him was Bruce Jackson, his right-hand man of 20 years.

Mr. Jackson started running errands for Mr. Goldberg when he was a boy living in the neighborhood.

Louis Ortega, who was helping Mrs. Wildes pull fabrics for the client, started around the same time. “We have fights here all the time,” Mr. Jackson said, “just like a family.”

Mr. Goldberg still runs the store with his daughter, who focuses on buying and selling. “Each Goldberg has done something slightly differently with the store,” he said.

Mendel Goldberg primarily sold tailoring supplies, catering to the Lower East Side trade popular in his time.

His son, Alexander Goldberg, began the store’s transition into selling fabric, but not of the luxury sort.

Samuel Goldberg turned the store into a major supplier for department stores around the country. Mrs. Wildes was responsible for the store’s entrance into fine imported fabrics.

“When my father asked me to start running the store, I didn't know what to do,” she said. “I’m an Upper East Side girl, so I just did what I knew. I bought for the store like I bought for my closet.”

Between the two performers, Pomni is clearly more open about her nervosity towards your ire. Her most luculent style is through her words— of which are very few— which range from asking on your day to softly recommending to take a breather & perhaps see whatever angered you in a different perspective. She swears it's for you well-being, she promises!

It doesn't take a genius to know that Jax isn't one to entertain the thought of displaying his sentiments to anyone. His complacent attitude with everyone's situation of being trapped may be one of the ways he pisses you off, a fact he's unfortunately aware of & utilizes constantly in your presence.

From calling your outbursts entirely cute to claiming he found an exit only for him to reveal last second that he lied before sprinting off, close to nothing is off the tables when Jax wishes to see a reaction from you, something that fills Pomni with utter alarm & always ends with her pulling you away to either of your rooms.

Pomni views Jax as a enabler towards your rage. Someone who, if not caught in time, both influences your emotions so much & enkindles the blaze in you to such an extent. The jester fears that if she isn't there, your blood might begin to boil under you skin, that your throat might tighten, that you'll grit your teeth so hard they'll hurt, that you might do something you might regret. She can't have that! She can't!

Where Pomni sees Jax as a bad influence towards you, he regards the jester as too ardent, especially around him— Or Caine— but mostly him. The rabbit disregards any demur as them needing to learn how to have fun & any coming from you is swiftly cooed at— Whether mockingly or not is your choice.

Though don't for a second think he doesn't care, he does!.. In his own way, but he cares! While he's all for you fracturing anything or everything you see— Especially the others stuff— he isn't exactly a fan of being accused of whatever your mind chose to be pissed off about at the moment. Jax would lead your ire elsewhere the moment he suspects he's going to be the target, why not break Gangle's comedy mask to let out some steam? Or go & blame Kinger for that headache of yours? If nothing, Jax drags you to join his antics to "brighten" you mood.

Pomni has, more often than not, approached Caine towards Jax's possible influence on you & your issue in the hopes of getting the purple critter to perhaps leave you be for a while. When Jax hears of this, he acts offended as if accused of murder, more so if she seems to think he doesn't care for us & views us as toys for him to play with. He'd deny every & any words coming from the Jester's mouth, calling her a desperate &/or clingy freak that needs to learn to back off & to mind her business.
