I kept forgetting to reblog this. Anyway I got a few, of course asura for the smaller one makes them easy.

First we got Gwizz and Lucanus, a pair of mercenaries that have been together for a long time but actual romance came very late when they started realizing they had feelings for each other.

Then we have monsterfucker asura Rix and Sirthral the demon. It was love at first sight for Rix and eventually he manages to charm Sirthral, though it takes a while for him to understand the whole thing.

Then we have a polycule of different sizes: Janis the human, Hukka the charr & Kaarme the asura. Their names are odd as they're based on my original characters and I decided to keep their names as they were. Let's just say they all just happen to have unusual names.

Then we have a couple human & asura pairs. First we have Nise & Helios. A pair of weirdos. Nise says he's a magical girl (boy) who fights evil while looking cute. Helios claims to be a forgotten 7th god and the only one who can manifest in a way that doesn't cause distress to mortals.

The two meet each other and end up bonding over how no one ever takes them seriously, eventually becoming friends with benefits and they only grow closer from there.

Last we have Dlizzit & Cassandra. Featuring my oldest character in this bunch, Dlizzit. Dlizzit is an unusual asura who gets influenced by those around him to an extreme degree. Taking on their mannerisms and opinions. He wandered around, constantly changing. Meeting Cassandra helped him ground himself. The two talked a lot and stayed together, eventually falling in love.

The two also adopt a charr cub, who Cassandra names Dorian. I even made him in-game, though he should be a cub still so it wasn't really accurate.

After I did the first WfS redesigns, I realized that I had forgotten the villains/aliens. Which...works out, seeing as that would have been a lot of designs to work on. So I figured, hell with it, I'll also add in the important WCBH characters as well, since I don't add that many more in the second book.

So I didn't change the aliens that much. I tweeked Liviana and Livius' outfits, mostly just because I could. I really like Liviana's outfit with the skirt there! I also inadvertently made the double belt a Thing on Vulturnas, apparently. But that's fine, it's fine. It looks cool.

I do have to say that I am always in awe whenever I draw Lucanus, since I wasn't the one who designed his outfit, so I always think I won't be able to pull it off. But I do, and it's amazing. I don't know why I love it, but I do. ;P

And Livianus over there...well, I think it's hilarious that he was supposed to be something of a villain himself - he buys Lane because of her hair and parades her around as his new pet up until he discovers her connection to his brother. I mean, I never intended him to be a straight ass, because it was mentioned in WfS that the twins view him as weak, but...yeah. But then I got to writing him, and fell in love with him, and now he's completely different. And I am completely in love with his design. It just suits him so well.

The second set of designs, well, is pretty much The Reason why I've been dragging my feet on a rewrite - the idea of doing the first book again where I don't get to write them is saddening. I love Alan and Jordan so much! Obviously, I wasn't going to doing a damn thing to their designs other than slight tweeks, and...yeah. Specter still looks absolutely awesome, but I do have to say that Alan looks freaking adorkable over there. Poor guy always gets overlooked.

About the only real change I made to the characters, in fact, was giving Alan a massive family - he's, like, the third youngest of nine, such that he is really overlooked because he isn't very needy. Oh, and obviously Alan is interning at Davenport now, and he's now an engineer himself. He has a job and Jordan doesn't thanks to his large family - Jordan's mom is able to help support him, whereas Alan's straight on his own. His plan is basically get in the good graces at Davenport so he can convince them to hire Jordan as well once they graduate, so they could continue to work together as a team, like they always do.

...Thinking about it, I really need to made Alan a girlfriend, since he's still overlooked all the time, lol.

In any case, all the designs are done, so...yeah, there's that. ^^;
