Pris redesign/my take on her design. My favorite redesign so far, I love how detailed it ended up as! I was first scared of doing the semitransparent parts but I love this piece! You you like it as well <3

So this was one of my favorites to make despite actually loving the og design and not having any problems with it.

I just loved trying out different dresses moving between more princess or more practical. I went all in on mermaid theming and given her more of ocean witch vibe. I was inspired by mermaid and princess dresses but took a huge inspiration (even though it didn't make it into the final design) from Empires season 1 Lizzie! I was actually watching Pris when she just used to make theory videos about empires and there she occasionally spoke about her oc's backstory and about her oc's race being closely connected to Esmp1 Lizzie, so because of that I tried out a lot of variations with clothes inspired by Lizzie's but found them not fitting Water witch Pris's vibe.

I went through a ton of dresses because other than "pretty maxi dress" I didn't really have a clear goal in mind, I known I wanted mermaidy feel to it and I was very set on the sleeves being very flowy.

I couldn't really decide on her shoes being heel or not, from one point heels look amazing and her og design had them but on the other hand girl you ain't going swimming in heels but on the other other hand you ain't swimming in a dress either so yeah, I still ended up on a flat design just for practicality.

I cycled trough a bit of different very similar hair styles before finding the perfect wavy to straight ratio and front, I also went through some different ways to incorporate the bows but ended up with just adding them on like on the og design.

You know what I found out when looking for reference pictures for this dress? That I really need the word to move on from these basic boring simplistic maxi dresses that are just straight up boring like live a little pls add at least a fun pattern or something I don't want to see the same dress copy pasted unless you use a different font at least! Like girl respect yourself '-'

When I think of mermaid I think of pearls so I might have went overboard with pearls oops well that's gonna be fun to draw over and over again! ••

One of my favorite details is the bag, I tried drawing it to look like a seashell and was very proud afterwards!

I wanted to give her an abundance of jewelry so she got a lot of necklaces and bracelets!

I also might have made her into a fish... Took me a bit deciding what type °°

I gave her a weil and a semitransparent layer of skirts what was one of my first time drawing something like this in color so hope you guys love it as much as I do! I feel like the weil just really adds to her design and the skirt is only so we could her shoes. I'm not making very throughout decisions okay? I will forget what shoe I picked otherwise anyway. Now that I think about, oh my I should have gave her fish nets, nahh how did I not think of that earlier??? Okay next time I draw her I'm going to draw her with fish nets! This is a promise I probably going to forget to keep but I still can't believe I never thought about this before...

I tried making the dress resemble still her og dress with the corset element but ended up drawing her in a very different dress. I was debating if it's okay to have her design so different but ultimately decided that, there's only like a total of 5 ppl maybe if we being generous who actually could possibly care about the post and from that maybe 2 know what Witchcraft smp even is and from that there's only possible like 1 who actually cares even a bit about accuracy so yeah I'm sticking to some dress that I like and the vibe fits the most!

Drawing this made me think about the fact that I might be covering up characters more than I should. I like modesty but I also a big fan of sl-tty fashion cause you know style is style and that's more than what the straights have. What I figured out is that because I also hyper aware of sexualization of characters I more often than not, I cover them up and make them more modest, realistically I know it's not a bad thing, but it made me think because the creator was okay with og design showing off chest area but I covered it up still, why? Am I uncomfortable by drawing cleveg? Idk? I don't draw my main oc's like that but that's because they're underage and just wouldn't make sense to do so but that doesn't apply to these characters that are of age, and besides, I do draw characters with more skin showing just not regularly. Maybe it's the association with the creators? Or maybe it's simply that I always cover up? I have sensory issues and constantly need something covering me (I have specifically problem with the sun touching my skin) so maybe that's why. But yet again I love fashion where that isn't the case I just can't wear that so why do I still cover characters up that are of age, already have an approved by creators design with exposed skin and overall don't even have a sexual design? Well anyway I was just wondering because I needed constantly keep in mind to let myself draw a exposed shoulder cause damn it it looks good why am I against fun TT. I also did cover up chest for both Pris and El from og card designs so yeah...

My Love Letter To The Community

The QSMP was everything, to me. It was such an amazing thing that not many people could even dream of, yet Quackity and his team had the vision, and not only that, but made it a reality. Thank you, Quackity. Thank you, Quackity Studios. Thank you, CC's. Thank you, Admins.

But most of all, thank you, QSMPblr.

You guys were by far the best part of this experience for me. Every event, every important moment, it was made better for me by the community. The fanart, the theories, the silly little liveblogs we all did for our favorite POV's. I laughed harder at some of your guy's stupid little chat messages or Tumblr posts then some of the actual in-stream moments.

I would not have fallen for the QSMP as hard as I did if it wasn't for the community. Before I joined Tumblr in September, it was just a little hobby I liked to check up on from time to time, but it was you, all of you, that helped me realize what a truly beautiful thing this was.

Yeah dude, look. Most of the fandom is big into spirk so like people enjoying that romance is par for the course! I got nothing against spirk, it's just a bit of a boring dynamic so I don't really spend time on it. Too healthy for my tastes. Spones is way more juicy, it's got the tension and the sort of different world views that you see in good omens, so it's fun!

To be clear tho, spirk is as canon as it's ever been. Strong subtext, but in the way that a homophobe could watch it and say well they're just good friends. Nothing has changed in that sense, it's just another bit of footage doing more of the same. It's less gay than a lot of the original series, but it's new and shiny so on a surface level i get the excitement

Shatner, who plays Kirk, has done this as a non canon short film. It's apparently considered as canon as the novels? Which is like, not much. Most people don't engage. I haven't really looked into that, im not gonna watch it cos it kind of pisses me off

The thing that really fucks my goat about it is that the guy who plays Spock died a while ago, and didn't get along with the guy who plays Kirk. But the guy who plays Kirk has funded and produced and managed this whole thing to be about his character and his importance, regardless of the wishes of the original Spock actor. Including literally doing someone up in prosthetics to look more like Nimoy. Not just Spock generally, but specifically Nimoy's Spock. Nimoy was involved in star trek films in his late life, and he didn't choose to do this when he was alive. Only after his death has Shatner forced this to happen

That's what's leaving a really bad taste in my mouth. And I feel like people are either not accepting Nimoy's death and are happy to see him puppeted by someone he disliked, which makes me pity them. I work in aged care so I know I'm more comfortable with death than the average, but like. This is a bit fucking dark, no? It's maudlin, let him rest in peace for fucks sake.

That, or they don't mind the manipulation of his image if it tickles their ship, which makes me dislike them. And I don't think I'll really get over that any time soon, it's so disrespectful. And those are both negative feelings, so I'm kind of generally not pleased about my dash rn

I'm trying to take an angle of being about McCoy cos he doesn't feature in the short and that feels wrong. Spock-centric stuff is feeling a little tainted right now, but I'm sure that'll pass. Fanart is different to this kind of image stealing, but it's still weird for me rn. And as much as I love Kirk, I can't remove him from Shatner and his megalomania right now. I hope that'll pass, but I don't think Shatner's gonna stop here so. Hm.

Besides I like McCoy and he's not complicated by all this so I'm just continuing to play in my little sandbox

It's a weird time for trekdom. There's a bit of a rift, and not down shipping lines. I'm seeing a lot of posts working through their complicated feeling around the disrespect inherent in stealing Nimoy's face for Shatner. And I'm seeing other people celebrate the disrespect cos their ship held hands and that makes it worth it.

I'm hoping people overwhelmingly calm down a bit in a week, get a bit embarassed about how pleased they were over something so gross, and it just sort of goes away. Then we can all go back to having a go at Shatner for his constant sexism and homophobia

COC 23: Goats @carryon-countdown

This is the first time I make fanart and this was inspired by my new interest EPIC: The Musical.

Simon and Baz have a kid, and they all dress up for a party!

Explanation of this idea below:

For those who don't know it/haven't heard of it, it's a musical made from the Odyssey. The creator, Jorge Rivera-Herrans, is a Puerto Rican man that wanted to do a musical Hamilton-esque, but he didn't have the resources, so he started publishing the songs by themselves, as concepts, involving his family and friends to voice the Greek gods or other characters. People loved the idea and started to create their own animatics, creating their own interpretations of the characters. Now, Jorge (or Jay) works with fans that help him officially make the animatics and on Dec 25th, the entire musical will be finished. We're waiting for him to have the opportunity to take him to the threaters.

I was staring at the cover of Wayward Son and thought to myself "Simon read the Odyssey, didn't he? Would he have liked the musical?", and then I thought he would have!

One of the most popular animatics have a distinct design for the god of Water, Poseidon, and every time I see him, I think of Baz. He looks so much like him. And I thought Simon would think so too, and he would love Poseidon because of that.

Then I thought, if EPIC was matched with Carry On, Simon would be undoubtedly Odysseus, and Baz would be Poseidon. How would that work given their enemies and hate each other so much. Exactly like that. My idea is that Baz-Poseidon killed all of Simon-Odysseus' troops to keep him to himself and not let him go back to Ithaca with someone else. Maybe Baz-Poseidon is condemned to watch the love of his life fall into someone else's arms.

Simon and Baz's kid here is from @martsonmars fanfic "The Tale of the Cursed Meal" @letraspal made fanart for. Leo. (It's not the same kid, I just borrowed his name). Leo's favorite plushie, a sheep, is the reason of this EPIC AU.

I thought Simon would be obsessed with the musical and when asked to dress up, he would want to be Odysseus. But they have a kid! So he thinks... Baz is as hot as Poseidon, and Leo's favorite toy is a sheep, which is Polyphemus (cyclops and son of Poseidon) favorite as well!

Simon tells Baz and even thought he's offended of being perceived as a villain (again), he doesn't mind when Simon shows him the design of Poseidon. Which is this:

I'm glad to announce I'm also thinking of making the rest of the gang as EPIC characters. We'll see...

this is just a stupid theory abt earth and luna (and theia)’s relation to each other, there’s three main gods in Hindu mythology- the creator, preserver, and destroyer

I think earth could be the creator (because obviously, he created life). And it makes sense for Luna to be earths counterpart, destroyer, but i feel like he fits the preserver more. Like, his whole ‘job’ is to balance earths axis and protect ( preserve) earths creations from asteroids Idk if Theia could be seen as the destroyer, but… she is associated with destruction?

After some video binging and Wikipedia reading, I'd like to add and make adjustments to your theory. Out of all the things I'd hope Solarballs wouldn't make reference to, it would be Hindu mythology. Due to my unfamiliarity with the whole thing and the complexity of Hindu cosmetology. I'm going to go on a little rant, I'm already trying to warp my head around the concept of Yin and Yang. Also, I'm trying to brush off my understanding of the Book of Genesis because of the reference to "two became one". But thankfully, most religions follow a similar concept of creation and the following destruction. If we want to parallel the Hindu Trinity to Solarballs we need to apply the proper roles that suit the characters best.

Let's start with the Sun as Brahma who represents the creation. Apparently, after Brahma created everything, his role was diminished because there was no need to continue creating after everything had been placed. It was expected that everything would find its place eventually. Just like how the Sun stays in the center of the solar system and the rest of the celestial bodies, after accumulating from the Sun's dust, had found a place within it.

This is when preservation comes in. Vishnu represents the concept of preservation and his job was to protect creation and create balance. This is why I believe Jupiter would fit that role best, as he is the protector of the Rockies and he helps balance the solar system. To be frank, I think he's mostly motivated because of the Earthlings.

Now, the last one is the destroyer, or Shiva, which I think Earth fits a little too well in comparison. The god's role was to destroy creation but paved way for new creation. The Earth is in a constant state of change and is currently going through a mass extinction. Moreover, the things he said in his therapy session were interesting. Along the lines of saying he's willing to start over if humanity doesn't get better but admitting he still has hope. To showcase that Earth represents the destroyer then look no further than his own creation and the constant looming presence of crisis he's always in.

To include Theia in the Trinity she might fit Shakti, the counterpart of Shiva. The personification of femininity and the energy of creation. I believe Shiva had split himself in two to mold the universe and needed to make a more feminine aspect of it. Later, after the goddess was done, she was reborn as a mortal to rebuild karma. She eventually found Shiva again, and they became one as husband and wife. Unfortunately, she died, and Shiva got really mad. Then he went on a rampage and cut off someone's head but replaced it with a goat's after cooling down. Shiva would then remain without his other half as he sat in spiritual solitude. Fortunately, Shakti was reincarnated as Parvati, Mother Goddess, Goddess of Power, Nourishment, Devotion, Motherhood, Fertility, and Harmony, according to the wiki. I believe Luna would fit that description because he's the Moon. The Moon has mainly been associated with women. Plus that whole planet Colliding and being created from the ashes like a phoenix makes it seem like Luna is the rebirth of Theia (or Proto).

Anyway, I kinda went a little overboard there. I think it's cool you drew this parallel, and I love to see how wild a theory can be. If you have your own elaboration please share. Also love your Vercury fanart.♥️

I've been feeling sooo good these past two weeks!! Idk if it's the return of warmer sunnier days, the fact that I've been seeing my friends a lot, my new meds, or a mix of all three... but I love it!

I made so much art! Mostly OCs, but also some fanart (mostly nsfw too). Also, I went to my city's queer library for the first time, it was suuuper cool! I bought a novel I've wanted since its realease in august. 🥳

Yesterday I went to a blind box figures trading event, I traded a Sonny Angel and bought a Smiski!

ED diary:

(Not) Eating: I'm slowly locking back in! I am skipping breakfast again, and trying to eat smaller servings for my meals! I'm having a hard time to stop snacking though. I'm trying to replace my sugary snacks with fruits in the meantime.

Moving: Finally got the game Fitness Boxing with Hatsune Miku (my friends got it for my for my bday but there were issues with the shipping), and I've been loving it! I played for 40min on day 1, 35min of day 2, didn't play on day 3, and 40min again today! I'm having a blast. ☺️ On top of that, I've been walking quite a lot! Next week I plan on starting daily crunches and squats again. 😌

Y'know I was gonna say this tomorrow for the one year anniversary but I think I'm gonna say it today.

The QSMP was the very first community I've actually been apart of. Even if it was small, it still meant a lot to me. To find different CC's I've never would've found. To finding a community/fandom that makes great fanart, headcannons, ideas, fanfics, and so much more. Y'all are talented and passionate as fuck, never forget that.

This is more a thank you to the community, the CC's, and the admins for making qsmp worth watching. I've been watching qsmp since the beginning (Philza Main here) and I haven't stopped since. And I don't want to stop but if I have to or if/when qsmp does end, I won't forget any of this.

Any lion behaviour to expect from him?

Once Nari starts getting comfy he will nuzzle the Lamb a lot more, both in greeting but also in an affectionate way. He also roars on occasion!! Mainly on missions or when the Lamb takes him on Crusades and they loose him lol. He’ll groom the Lamb as well, commenting about how dirty they get during crusades and that he could spend his time doing something more productive(The Lamb knows he’s just being difficult. Every time they return Naris waiting to clean them up before they show themselves fully to the cult)

The closest I can get to answering the first question is actually a goat! The way I draw my lamb is heavily inspired by the Dreamurr family(specifically Asriel) so really they’re more like a goat with fluffy hair lol. As for how I depict them, well I love me a good codependent relationship turned two assholes learning how to heal.

My lamb sees themselves as the faithful servant to TOWW at first so they don’t speak(unless it’s to Nojular to announce to the others or during sermons), keep their wool short, and focus only on crusades and keeping the cult stable. It’s once they defeat Kallamar that they start opening up. The crown speaking to them gave them a new boost of confidence(and a tad bit of inanity) so they began speaking more, directing the cult, and focusing on their relationship with their followers more then crusading. With the indoctrination of the cults brand new Therapist(No one asked Focalor to do it they just took up the job themselves), the Lamb was able to work through a lot of their issues.

Now with Nari in the cult, they’ve started their ascension into godhood. This takes a big toll on their mental state, causing more murder episodes and mood swings. Nari knows how bad the ascension process can fuck someone up so he’s helping where he can. The Lamb appreciates it a lot.

Will Narinder ever grow out his mane again?

Nari actually likes it short!! The Lamb asks him this same question all the time and Narinder always says he likes it short. Though he does grow out parts just so the Lamb can braid and decorate it.

How does the modern AU of them pan out? Does Narinder get released from his chains?

I have comics and things planned for the Modern AU so stay tuned for those!! I can say that Nari does get released from his chains by the Lamb on accident. Now he has to learn how to live among mortals and the Lamb is marching straight to their Professor to try and learn more about the formerly sealed god.

What are their favourite weapons and curses?

I generally don’t use curses actually!! I prefer things with high speed and high damage so my best answer is that I like Swords!(I despise guns and hammers they so slow for my lambs nimble ass)

Does Narinder have any side effect from being chained?

He has PTSD from the imprisoning battle and gets the phantom feeling of chains on his wrists from time to time. While he likes his alone time he’ll actually cling to the Lamb once he’s spent more time in the cult. He’s terrified of being alone even if he won’t admit it.

Oooold art post! Dragonage released a new gameplay trailer today and I am SO FUCKING EXCITED so I wanted to share some really old fanart I made maybe 8 years ago.

Most people know me for my mural-style, flat art style. Truth is, that style developed from the art direction of Dragonage Inquisition. That game deeply inspired me and was the catalyst I needed to start taking my artistic journey seriously. At the time, I made these two pieces in an attempt to replicate that art style. Now, it's just how I draw all the time.

The first image is of Solas. The anatomy isn't great, but I loved making it. The second is of my player character Borgle, a joke character who loves goats and fights by throwing bees at people almost exclusively.

Now that I've had a little bit of time to gather my thoughts and make a little peace with Chay, Lullah, and Richas leaving, I'm gonna admit I'm not too sure what the future holds and that kinda scares me a bit. Just know that whatever happens, I'll always love the qsmp and this project is and will always be one of my most favorite media of all time. Everything from watching the server to making connections with the people in this fandom is something I will always cherish. Qsmpblr yall are the goats. All the sad, happy, and goofy times were the best part of the last year and I will always be grateful. Even if I drift off to new media, and find new interests, you're gonna have to pry all my qsmp essays, fanart, and fanfiction out of my cold dead hands.
