And sometimes when Mickey is in a bad mood and everything seems to be falling apart, Ian is with him. He is always with him, trying to catch him and make him forget everything.

Sometimes they lie in front of the TV, Mickey on Ian's chest and his hand caresses calming circles on his back.

Sometimes Ian brings him a cold beer, helps him out of his heavy boots and cooks his favorite meal without a word, demanding no explanation because he knows Mickey doesn't want to talk about it.

Sometimes they sit together on the balcony and smoke a joint. Mickey's head in Ian's lap and he feeds him his favorite candy because he know Mickey has to think about something.

And sometimes when Mickey is in a really bad mood, Ian distracted him in other ways. When Mickey stood in their bedroom and Ian came in, he wordless removes his shirt and kissed his neck from behind. Leave lovemarks wherever his mouth brushes Mickey's skin. Whispered meaningful phrases in his ear like "You're so beautiful." Or "relax, my love."

And Mickey let's him. He let's him do this all because he knows Ian loves him and he admits to himself that he deserves this love. The love from his husband.
