hmmmm this is kinda hard. i think it’s all kinda blurred. he calls you by your first name, and never had a mother figure, so he prob finds comfort in a female figure. but also you are relatively young so it’s kinda hard to see you as a mother. plus he sees sukuna as his brother but also his guardian, so i think it’s like that more. sees you as one of his caretakers but not mother, sister + guardian i guess would he closest

If the flowery words weren't a dime a dozen a midst the small pile of opened letters, she might have grimaced at their attempt to charm her. None of them ever did. Plenty of creative attempts though, some direct quotes from poems and sonnets she'd already memorized; it was always a mixed bag whenever Amalthea received love letters.

She does however somehow manage to both roll her eyes and look a little embarrassed at Shanks' comment, reaching over to pluck the offending missive out of his hand. "About twenty this time," which sounds like a lot but it was actually less than last year around this time. The zoan's cheeks are flushed, "I'm really not," she insists, "too many people mistake kindness as flirtation, or it's my devil fruit power affecting people." Which was equal parts blessing and curse depending on the day.

An attempt to divert the topic away from herself follows, "What was the last letter you got? Some woman trying to wheedle you back to seeing her again, she really didnt spare any details about the things she wanted to do to you either." At least her letters werent nearly as dirty as his could be.
