It's bloody well your turn, 27! Top 10 hottest fictional women/people of all time?! 😁
Well well well... If it isn't the ask I was going to answer whether anyone asked me or not. 😂
Some would call me "over prepared", "unable to count" or just plain "thirsty"... and they would all be correct.
So let's do this...
1. Ava Silva - Warrior Nun
I tried to limit myself to one character per work of fiction and this was the hardest one to narrow down from simply ALL OF THEM. EVERY SINGLE WOMAN IN WARRIOR NUN IS AN ABSOLUTE SMOKE SHOW. This is helped, considerably by the fact that they all can, and would, snap my neck. Woof. But I made myself choose. So here we go. (SorryBeaSorryLillithSorryMummySupesSorrySexyDoctorJillianSorryTheAbsoluteDeityOfHotnessThatIsShotgunMary!!!)
Exhibit A
Exhibit B
2. Bette Porter - The L Word. She's a legend for a reason. If you're ever having a bad day just hit up YouTube and find a super cut of Bette Porter swearing. Never fails. 16 year old me would turn myself inside out for this woman. (37 year old me probably still would too, who am I kidding)
Exhibit A
3. Jane Rizzoli - Rizzoli and Isles. See the last 6 months of this blog for my complete derangement facilitated by doomsday luring me over here from Supercorp. Yes we know Angie Harmon is kind of evil, yes we do still very much want to get under it anyway. Black button up supremacy!
Exhibit A
4. Bo Dennis -Lost Girl. It's Anna Silk? Playing a pansexual succubus who needs to have lots of sex or she dies?? And did I mention it is Anna Silk?? Just an amazing sex-pollen crack fic come to actual life.
Exhibit A
5. Carson Shaw - A League of Their Own. Ok, I will admit to being severely under-medicated when this show came out. And that was probably a factor in me going absolutely BATSHIT FERAL for Abby Jacobson in this role. The dimples? The arms? The cheeky little smile and the innocent little face. Urrrggghh. I. Just. Want. To. Squish. Her.
Exhibit GAY:
6. Faith - BtVS. One of the first hotties to penetrate this prickly exterior. She's a smoke show. Everyone knows it, especially her. When she swaggers in to season 7 after busting out of jail to stop the apocalypse ? ((Chef's kiss))
We present to the bench m'lord
7. Stella Gibson - The Fall. Urghhhhhhhh. Look. It's Gillian Fucking Anderson playing the most sexually liberated, yet morally dubious character we've ever seen. She wears suits. She tells men to fuck off. She drinks wine like she's making slow love to it. SHE KISSES ARCHI PANJABI.
If it pleases the court
Exhibit B
8. Jane the Vicar - Collateral. Ok, this one is maybe out of left field but I needed Nicola Walker on my list and I narrowed it down to This Nicola Walker because a) canonically (heh) gay and b) vicar's outfit (ok sue me). She also maintains that pathetic wet cat of a woman vibe that she does so well while being slightly less depressing than in Scott and Bailey.
The prosecution rests
9. Debbie / Lou in Ocean's 8. Yes. I know I'm breaking my own rule. Shut up. It was going to just be Debbie but I was looking at the evidence and it really is the pair of them together where the magic happens. We've seen both these actors be depressingly unsexy in other things (sorry. *cough*Carol*cough*) but in this they Just Eye Fuck for 2 hours and it's AMAZING.
Exhibit A
10. Villanelle - Killing Eve. Show me one woman who does not want to be murdered intimately by Villanelle and I'll show you a fucking liar. I present her 2 best looks for the jury...
Exhibit 1 - the suit and tie and ring a ding ding situation...
Exhibit 2 - the cable knit that rewired my ovaries and made me genuinely want to have little murderous babies for her.
10a. Commander Lexa - The 100. Gone but never forgotten. Continuing a pattern of brunette, lethal and soft as a kitten's arsehole for one specific blonde woman.
Honourable mentions...
M'lady
Mare of Eastown!! Every time a male show runner tries to make a beautiful woman less beautiful by mucking her up a bit I howl at her for a decade.
Diana Leatherby in Tipping the Velvet. I read the book at the tender age of 16. When I say I will never see a wooden chair the same way I mean it. Anna Chancellor in the BBC adaptation is only maybe 70% the hottie my brain cooked up tho.
Root and Shaw in Person of Interest - lost out because I couldn't choose between them!
Alex Danvers in Supergirl. Chyler Leigh is hot as fuck in this role, especially with her shaved hair. But I haven't watched enough of the actual show to judge her personality. I get the impression she becomes a bit of a cunt....
Mickey Knight in the JM Redmann books. Excluded because no one will have heard of her but lives in my heart and sexy musing forever. 🔥😘

Promised End
“…All this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands. …David …took out a stone and slung it, and it struck the Philistine, sinking into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.” 1Samuel 17:47, 49AMPC
Goliath didn’t die when the stone hit him in the forehead. I always thought, the stone pierced through Goliath’s skull killing him— learned this from Sunday School. But it didn’t.
What’s the percentage chance of a running boy, flipping a slingshot stone through the air into the only place not covered by metal armor? Very slim to no chance, right? Perhaps, with a high powered rifle and scope in at a target practice, maybe. David spoke this into existence— “He will give you into our hands.” Faith speaks. David’s mega faith spoke.
The Lord beckoned me to a three day water fast. During the fast, He gave me a picture of a future event in life, plus— a prophecy from Isaiah 32. ‘Prepare to see His glory,’ He said. When I returned home after the fast, everything turned upside down. Doctor’s office called to say an abdominal C-SCAN had shown a tumor— lower lobe, left lung— cancer. Cancer report didn’t line up with what the Lord had shown me.
Whirlwinds of tests and appointments ensued. Repeatedly I told Lou what the Lord said— ‘Cancer wasn’t part of God’s future for me. Like King David with Goliath, I had an outcome I knew, which the Lord had promised me. Lou insisted I have the tumor removed from my lung.
In the story of David and Goliath, David had to take Goliath’s sword from its sheath, then kill the giant. Gory details. But had David not followed through, Goliath would’ve soon awakened, angry, with a bad headache. V51 “David …took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.” Instead the Israelites had victory.
My story of everything God did— I’ve written out in book form. Truly, I can tell you, I saw the glory of God repetitively over those next few months. Was the journey easy? Not at all. Painful? Absolutely. Throughout the entire time, I praised God for healing me, and sang a little commitment song He’d given to me. Bottom line— God left me with a cancerous-looking outside on a clean-looking inside tumor. Surgeon didn’t have any answers, his first time ever to witness such a tumor.
After the initial diagnosis, I declared the end from the beginning, (Isaiah 46:9), over and over for months. As I declared God’s promised end, I was unsheathing the sword and killing the cancer inside the tumor— my Goliath. In other words, I had an active part to play in partaking of my miracle.
Believers, we stop short of our miracles. We pray, build our faith, become anointed with oil, go see a faith healer, believe for but never see the total miracle. Why? Part of the answer may come initially— at least the prophecy of the answer. But the totally manifested miracle doesn’t happen immediately. (Usually the miracle is immediate for the unsaved.) Our down payment might disappear— because we didn’t ‘kill’ our Goliath with joyous expectation, praise and worship to God for the already answered prayer.
God did His part for David, just like He does for us. He’ll leave something for us to do, too, just like He did for David. Will we respond by giving up? Saying whenever He’s ready? Or taking our miracle now. It’s your choice. You choose.
LET’S PRAY: Sovereign God thank You for working so hard trying to get Your miracle to us. Help us Lord to see, hear, respond, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
by Debbie Veilleux Copyright 2023 You have my permission to reblog this devotional for others. Please keep my name with this devotional, as author. Thank you.

5. Not sure. Nick and the demolition boss’s daughter? Simone and Georgie? Brady branded as heartthrob?
6. Henrik had a wife. (Nothing with Joanna, Alejandro, or Taylor.)

17. I hope Henry dumped Summer. Dr. Buford alluded to a romantic past. (Nothing with Lamont or Renee.)

Not a total frickin’ idiot
For the request: R x Daphne Kluger. R being a part of the original Heist Crew and also being the one Daphne approaches. They’re super flirty w/ each other and everyone knows that they like each other except themselves.
Summary: You thought you had gone unnoticed at the Met, but Miss Kluger never forgets a face.
Characters: Daphne Kluger x fem!reader, the Ocean’s team
Word Count: 1,657
Warnings: swearing!? Do i still have to put a warning for that? idk
If you had learned anything about diva actress Daphne Kluger from Rose, it was that you don’t speak unless spoken to first.
And considering she didn’t talk to you at all during the heist, you were able to get around the entire night never uttering a single word to her, fulfilling your role on the team without any kind of hiccup.
So you were quite surprised when she had slid into your booth at your favourite coffee shop, giant sunglasses and a fashionable sunhat masking her face. You looked up from your phone and were about to comment about your booth being taken until you recognized her.
Your mouth hung open a little bit as she took off the hat and glasses. Her lips were painted a deep red and her outfit was impeccable, as always.
“Say..” she immediately said, pearly whites nearly blinding you as she smiled, “you were at the Met, weren't you?”
“I- I’m sorry?” you began. “I don’t know-”
“Oh my god! You totally were! You were wearing that adorable dress. Gosh, you looked so good.”
You were blushing hard, because in a matter of barely a minute, Daphne Kluger, gorgeous movie star, had called you adorable and good-looking all in the same sentence.
“I was there too- well, obviously you know that,” she chuckled, “and I was wearing that beautiful diamond necklace, don’t you remember? It was all over the news. Especially when I supposedly lost it.”
“O-oh? Right, y-yes I remember reading about it in the news..”
“And you know.. I couldn’t help but wonder how weird my designer was acting all night. And that lady in the black from the staff, who found my necklace? You’d almost think they were acting.”
You were almost as pale as a sheet at this point, gripping your cup in shaking fingers.
“And you know what’s funny? I saw you talking to both of them during the night. I mean, how couldn’t I notice? You looked so gorgeous, almost like you were asking me to see you.”
You gulped, “I do not know what you’re talking about, Miss Kluger-”
“Just call me Daphne,” she leaned forward, lips spread in a feline smile, elbows resting on the table and propping her head up on her hands.
“Y/N, right? I asked for your name from the guest list, I hope you don’t mind. They let me in on those sorts of things anyways.”
“That’s me,” you replied.
“Do you know Debbie Ocean? Of course you do, you two also seemed pretty close all night, hm? You’re lucky I was the only one who noticed.”
“What?”
“I’ve been approached by an investigator who seems really interested in her because the uh, necklace turned out to be a fake.”
You tried to pretend to be surprised at the news, but you couldn’t muster it, and Daphne looked at you knowingly.
“Luckily, I didn’t tell him any of your names, because I wasn’t sure if I was right. But you just confirmed all my suspicions anyways, so..”
“Are you threatening me?” you narrowed your eyes at her, and she gasped in mock offence.
“Of course not!” she leaned forward, giving you ample view of her cleavage, hand trailing over yours,
“I’m seducing you, Y/N.”
You didn’t know what to say as she looked at you with those deep, telling eyes. Her own eyes flickered appreciatively over your features, and you wondered if she was checking you out or if she was simply acting.
A small group of fans approached the table, chittering and blushing at the sight of Daphne Kluger in a meagre coffee shop such as this one. She smiled amicably, accepting their compliments and giving them autographs, before saying,
“You’re all so sweet, but do you think you’d be able to let my girlfriend and I have some privacy for the rest of our date? Thaanks,” she waved as the fans rushed off, gasping and gossiping amongst themselves at the prospect of the Daphne Kluger having a girlfriend.
“Girlfriend?” you asked once you found your voice again. She only grinned and winked at you.
“Oh, don’t be like that baby. Now, are you gonna tell me about the necklace, or what?” she sipped your drink and your mouth went dry.
-
“Chilly,” Daphne remarked at the glances given by the rest of the group, “what about, ‘Hi Daph, welcome to the team. Let’s not all high five at once.’”
You chewed your lip, bounced your leg, avoided her gaze altogether, and tried very hard not to look at how good she looked in her black dress. You were sitting across from the couch where she had plopped down, hunched in the metal framed chair.
“Why’d y’let her get to you, Y/N. I told you not to draw attention to yourself!” Rose said to you, after you and Debbie had explained how Daphne had found you, recognized you and called out the plan. You, being the newbie in the ways of criminality, could barely think of a cover up and ended up bringing her to Debbie with a spluttering confession.
“She didn’t,” Daphne’s eyes were locked on yours, “I just noticed her myself.”
You blushed a little and looked away. Debbie looked at you apologetically, knowing you felt put on the spot.
“Plus,” Daphne continued, “I am the one who is saving your asses from insurance fraud, okay?”
The team burst into shock, responses flying left and right.
“I-I was gonna get to that,” you said hastily, eyeing Debbie, who stepped in,
“It seems that they’ve assigned an insurance investigator-”
“Who’s about to look up your asses with a flashlight,” Daphne pointed out.
“Who?”
"Oh, this little Columbo dude, everything but the trench coat, totally on to you.”
“His name is John Frasier,” Debbie said.
"Wha- you know him?” Amita spluttered in disbelief.
“Yes, he busted my father twice, my brother once.”
“He’s family,” Lou added.
“Lest we forget, this entire enterprise was to keep me out of jail,” Rose interrupted, worry etched on her face.
“No one is going to jail,” Lou assured her.
“We expected this, we prepared for this,” said Debbie. Not many of the team seemed to believe her, with Nineball adding,
“Yup... that’s clear.”
“We will not be the prime suspect,” Debbie said sternly.
"Then who will be?”
“Well,” you added, “we’ve got the security guys, the busboys-”
“...The shady guy who put you away,” Tammy sighed, arching an eyebrow at Debbie, who could barely contain the smirk on her face. Daphne stared at her incredulously,
“..the boyfriend.”
"Mhm,” Debbie replied, “they were gonna be looking for somebody, just had to make sure it wasn’t one of us.”
Lou nodded in approval, adding a faint, “that’s nice.”
"Thanks.”
“Wow... that is amazing,” Daphne grinned, chewing her gum in delight, “the precision, right? It’s always the attention to detail and the little grace notes that really make something sing.”
A short silence followed. Glances were cast between the rest of you, wondering what on earth had gotten into Daphne’s head.
“...Why are you doing this?” Tammy asked, clearly dumbfounded by this multi-millionaire actress dropping into their party. Daphne stilled for a moment, her eyes flickering to you for a second before saying,
“I.. don’t have that many close female friendships. Plus bookclubs are the worst, so I just thought y’know... could be something fun to share?”
“You’re becoming a criminal because you’re lonely?”
“...Who isn’t sometimes, right?”
"Are you an only child?” you asked her. Her silence told you enough.
The team seemed to accept at that point that Daph was there to stay, so they went about their usual business.
“Beer?” Lou offered you, which you immediately said yes to, feeling a little woozy after that whole experience.
Tammy went to the kitchen and opened another pizza box, and you went to grab a slice for yourself before calculating your next move carefully, hoping your brain wouldn’t short circuit as you grabbed another slice and headed to where Daphne was sitting by herself.
You sat next to her, very very awkwardly, and offered her the paper plate.
“Aw, thanks,” she smiled, cheering up a little, “you know you don’t have to do that.”
“Do what?”
“Be nice to me because you feel bad for me. Look, I’m sorry I cornered you the other day. I didn’t mean to seem desperate or whatever.”
“You- you didn’t seem desperate,” you frowned, “and I don’t feel bad for you. Whatever gave you that idea?”
She looked at you with a mouthful of pizza, and made an exasperated gesture to your whole surroundings, indicating the events that had just occurred. She also didn’t want you to know how she had been dying for your attention the minute she had seen you at the Met.
“Oh, well, I mean, I think your reasoning was perfectly justified,” you cocked your head at her and smiled. Then you lifted your pizza and said,
“to crime!”
The rest of the group cheered and replied with the same phrase, lifting their beers or pizza with glee. Daphne blushed at the exclamation.
“Now you,” you said, nodding encouragingly.
“What?”
“Do it! If you’re gonna be a part of the Ocean’s team, you gotta get with the rituals.”
“Rituals?” Daphne scoffed. But then she saw your dopey smile and sparkling eyes, and her insides melted. She delicately lifted the pizza and said,
“to crime!”
You laughed and sipped your beer.
“Ten bucks says they’re dating by next week,” Nineball said in the kitchen, peering into the fridge.
“I say by the weekend,” Constance offered.
“Idiots,” Rose shook her head. “If tonight is gonna keep up like this, I say by the morning.”
They eyed you and Daphne chatting away on the couch, completely forgetting about everyone else.
“Not so lonely anymore I guess,” Tammy smiled.
“Told you, crime’s good for many things,” Debbie nudged her and smiled at Lou, who rolled her eyes playfully.

Hi there. This is gonna be a long one. Could you please write Lou Miller x reader and the reader is a little cold and quiet but the team understand and accept her maybe because of her past. One day the reader walks in Lous loft from a really bad day and Lou is just laying on the sofa until she picks up on the readers sadness so the reader just goes over to her and lies down in the couch with her head in Lous shoulder and Lou just envelopes her until she feels better and she gives her a little kiss. And the team just watch and think it’s really cute but also sad because they know the reader hides emotions. Thank you very much. I love your page, and I apologise if your requests are closed.
I Should’ve Stayed in Bed
Pairing: Lou Miller x Fem!Reader, Platonic! Debbie Ocean x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Shitty day, cliche trope, fluff at the end.
A/N: I hope you enjoy this @thelastavenger-3000! I’m sorry it took so long!
There was no way to explain how your day had been except for complete shit. You were heading to your classes when it had started storming, so by the time you arrived you were almost soaked to the bone. Thankfully the Resource center had spare clothes, baggy clothes, but clothes nonetheless.
Your classes went by quickly, the only class you hated was cancelled due to weather. You didn’t have your computer anyways so you wouldn’t have been able to do any work. The weather was clear, so you decided to walk home only to get soaked by a driver hitting a puddle next to the sidewalk. You couldn’t help but groan at the cliche that decided to Grace you with its presence. By the time you reached Lou’s loft, you’d had enough.
A groan escapes your throat as you open the large doors, they creak as they move. Your friends' eyes glance up at you, Lou’s eyes locking with yours as you enter. You set your bag down and move to go to your room, only for a pair of arms to wrap around your waist and pull you down on the couch. You struggle to escape, but manage to pull yourself out of Lou’s arms. “Lou I’m soaking wet, let me change first okay?” She nods and gently grabs your hand. She places a kiss on it and lets it go, “Go change and bring down the thick fluffy blanket.” You nod and run to your room. You remove your clothes quickly and take a small shower, warming your body up.
After changing you grab the fluffy grey blanket on your and Lou’s bed and run downstairs, the fabric covering trailing behind you. You start to walk past the couch until a pair of arms wrap around your waist and pull you down. A husky voice whispers in your ear, “What happened love?”
You grunt and snuggle into Lou’s neck, wrapping your arms around her waist. “Do you not want to talk about it?” You shake your head. “Do you want anything to eat? Drink?” You nod and look up. “Coffee.”
Lou chuckles and nods at Debbie, winking. “With a shot of tequila?”
“With a shot of tequila.”
A small laugh escapes Lou and she kisses the top of your head. Lou squeezes you gently and you let out a squeak. She smiles and kisses your head once more, moving her hand to take the coffee from Debbie as she approaches. Debbie pats your head gently and crouches to be in front of you. “Rough day honey?” You nod and squirm against Lou, nuzzling your head against Debbie’s hand. “Lou’s got your coffee, grab it when you’re ready.” With a whine you turn away from Debbie, snuggling your face into the warmth of Lou’s neck. Debbie chuckles and walks away, returning to her computer to focus on the next heist.
Lou sets your coffee down on the table and pats your thigh. You wrap your legs around her waist and she stands, placing her hand on your leg. She grabs your coffee and hands it to you, “Hold it in between us and be careful with it. I’m taking us upstairs.” You nod and gently grab the cup, one arm still wrapped around Lou’s neck.
Soon enough you’re in your room and Lou shuts the door, slowly moving to place you on the bed. “Let me change and I’ll cuddle you. We can watch a movie.” You perk up and set your coffee down on the bedside table. “Can we watch The Land Before Time?” Lou smiles at you and walks over, placing a kiss on your forehead. “We can watch whatever you want, alright? Even musicals.”
You beam up at her and gently push her away from you, “Hurry up!” She chuckles and turns away from you, opening and rummaging through her drawers. She pulls out a pair of boxers and a sports bra, quickly shedding her clothes and replacing them. Her pubic mound shows a bit from the top of her boxers. You smile and open your arms, ready to hold her.
“I thought I would be holding you?” You shake your head. Lou snorts and moves to crawl towards you, arms by your sides. Her lips come to yours and she smiles into the kiss, her legs settled between yours. She moves to trail kisses down your lips to your neck. Her hand lands gently on your hip and holds you in place, her blue eyes glance up into your [e/c] eyes and she smiles against your neck.
“I’m sorry your day was bad darling, I’ll do whatever I can to make it better.”
“Anything?” You ask, placing your hands on her cheeks.
“Anything.”
Let’s just say the movie and cuddles we’re forgotten.

New Girl On the Block (pt.1)
pairing: Lou Miller x nb!reader Literally just my love letter for the Ocean's 8 ladies, with a side of reader x Lou Miller.
Summary: The group is curious about Lou's relationship status. Note: Let me know what you guys think, any ideas where this will lead? MASTERLIST --------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a mid-autumn afternoon, and the group has just completed their latest mission - the stealing of Coca-Cola's latest recipe, and are driving down the motorway in their van, about to head home and recharge.
"Where do your husband and kids think you are" Anita, suddenly asked in Tammy’s direction, who was mindlessly playing with the rim of her beanie, "with you spending so much time...not at home?"
"at the...garden club?" Tammy said, with little conviction.
"they believe that you are off, what, clipping rosebuds and scuffling through the soil, at like 11pm on a Thursday night?" Debbie interjected, a poorly hidden amusement in her question.
Tammy rolled her eyes, not without a twitch on her lips that suggests a smile.
"I live with my grandma, who's half-deaf and blind," Constance said with a nonchalant attitude, “I just have to make sure I finish what she puts on the dinner table every day and she won’t ever realise that I was gone.”
The ladies laughed.
“That’s why I’m so glad that I have my own apartment.” Anita giggled.
The crew exchanged looks and hummed in agreement, bouncing along with the movement of the van.
“The single life truly is the greatest,” Daphne commented, as she laid down on a row of seats.
“Amen,” Rose exclaimed, having just woke up from a celebratory nap.
“Was it not you that threw up in the middle of a Trader Joe’s after your infamous, tabloid-explosive, break up with that trust fund millionaire, aspiring ‘dj’” Nine Ball asked, putting air quotes on the ‘dj’.
“I think we’ve all had our fair share of bad breakups.” Rose interrupted, saving some grace for poor Daphne, who was now blushing profusely.
“Mhmm...” “True, true.” “I can definitely attest to that.”
A silence falls over the group, all that could be heard was the rumbling of the van.
“Lou, you haven’t said anything at all.” Tammy suddenly said, turning towards Lou, who had been sitting in the front seat of the van, reading the coveted recipe for Coca-Cola.
“Got any bad breakup stories to share?” Anita queried, leaning forward with a mischievous glint in her eye.
“Or a secret beau that we don’t know about...?” Daphne pressed, giggling.
They ushered as they waited expectantly for an answer from the blonde.
Lou was not known for being an open book in the crew. They - even Debbie - knew very little about her life outside of conning and heists, and certainly not her dating history.
Turning around so she could get a better look at the crew, Lou said with an unreadable smile, "If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret now...would it?"
The ladies didn't know what to say.
"You can't argue with that..." "She'll tell us when the time is right..." "I wonder what kind of person Lou is into..."
As the group resumed their chatter, the van continued speeding down the road.
Oh if only they knew,
if only they knew.

Have I been good this year, Mrs. Claus?
Word Count: 1K
Pairing: Tammy Robinson (Oceans 8) x Reader

The lively suburban home basked in colourful lights as decorations hung from each corner of every room, the sound of Brenda Lee’s sweet voice echoed throughout the house spreading Christmas cheer. The big Christmas tree in the corner illuminated the main room as the sound of the toy train set erupted throughout the room as the children cheered watching the fake steam trail from the wooden toy as it circled the tree. You watched from the door with a drink in hand, dressed in your signature Christmas attire. You smile softly as you watch your step-children giggle with their friends as they watch the train gain speed. You’re interrupted by your thoughts as you watch your glass be topped up from the hand beside you.
“She sure knows how to throw a good party,” Lou comments, making sure there’s no waste from the bottle as she pours the remaining liquid from the bottle into your glass, filling it up to the rim. You scoff before taking a quick sip, knowing that your wife would kill you if you were to stain her new creamed coloured rug.
“My wife could make any party look good just by being there,” you respond, pride evident in your voice. Your eyes fill with glee as you watch Constance pull a dime from behind Lucy’s ear, who gasps at her magic tricks. Glancing over at Lou, you take in her attire.
“Nice tie. Did Debbie pick it out?” you tease, taking another sip of the strong liquor. Lou pats her tie down in defence as you eye the red and green polka dot pattern.
“I lost a bet,” she mumbles under her breath making you chuckle. The pair were known for their competitive streak, always placing bets on one another; it only heightens more during the holiday seasons especially when the other women are around to egg them on. You hum amused by her dejected expression but grunt a moment later when you feel small arms wrap around your legs, giggles filling your ears.
“Mama! What took you so long?!” Lucy exclaims, attempting to climb up your body like a jungle gym. Lou instinctively grabs your glass so you can take your daughter into your arms properly. Holding her close you place a kiss to her cheek.
“I’m sorry, honey but I had to pick Grandma up from the airport,” you explain, sharing an eye roll with Lou over the blonde’s hair. You truly loved your mother in law and she loved you just as much but her fixation on you and Tammy having more children makes you groan in displeasure every time the topic is brought up. You love the small family that you have gained, especially since the twins started calling you the ‘M’ word late last year. The idea of expanding when you’ve only just settled into your new motherly role seemed ridiculous and too soon but your mother in law was rather insistent. Lucy giggles, having heard the slight grumble in your voice.
“She asked Mommy if there were buns in the oven yet but I told her we don’t have buns on Christmas Eve Grandma!” She laughs, her innocence shining through her bright brown eyes that are so similar to her mothers. Lou snorts into her glass as she watches on, amusement evident in her crystal blue eyes. You glare at her as Lucy continues to giggle.
“Grandma being silly huh?!” you say, tickling her sides. She squirms in your arms and begs you to stop, which you comply almost instantly as you see her bright red cheeks.
“So, Grandma caught Mommy before I could get to her huh? Is she still in the kitchen?” you ask, eager to see your wife having already been cornered the moment you entered back through into your home apparently you being prompted was the big topic of conversation since everyone arrived which meant you still haven’t had a chance to see your wife.
Lucy nods, grinning from ear to ear as she cuddles deeper into your arms. Your heart bursts with love and pride as you bask in her affection, grateful for their love and acceptance into their lives. Lou grins softly at you both knowing how nervous you first were meeting the pair two years ago.
The sound of heels clicking their way across the hallway floor towards you makes you turn to identify the person who's creating the sound. Standing before you dressed in a reasonable short long-sleeved red dress with thin black tights, is Tammy. Adjusting the Santa hat on top of her long blonde locks as she licks at her red lips the shade of lipstick complimenting her skin beautifully, you stare mouth agape as you take in your wife, the sound of giggling close to your ear brings you back to the present as you see a light shade of pink scatter across your wife’s cheeks. Lucy takes hold of your chin and pushes it up actively closing your open mouth.
“Fuck.”
“Mama!”
“Y/N!”
The scolding words from your daughter and wife makes you cringe when you realise your slip up, but you can see the small glint of mischief in your wifes brown doe eyes. Lucy giggles hysterically as Lou laughs out loud, patting your shoulder sympathetically before moving to her partner who had followed Tammy out of the kitchen, her presence unknown to you as you zero in on your wife, an amused grin appears onto the brunette's face as she wraps an arm around Lou.
“That’s a dollar in the swear jaw,” Tammy scolds but you can hear the teasing undertone that goes unnoticed by your daughter. Lucy nods agreeing with her mother before placing her lips close to your ear and whispering loudly.
“Tell mommy she looks pretty, silly,” she instructs you, you can feel the ‘duh’ coming but it never does. You clear your dry throat and nod taking in the little girl's words.
“Right, yes. Mommy you look beautiful,” you say with all the strength you could muster, taking in her wonderful form. Tammy blushes under your heavy gaze and smiles brightly at you, Debbie and Lou snicker quietly behind the blonde before making their way into the living room to join the rest of the gang. Lucy scampers from your hold and races after her Aunts wanting to show them the new train set by the tree, leaving you alone in the hallway with your wife.
You fluster for a moment, watching as she saunters over reducing the gap between you both. She wraps her arms around your neck pulling you close, as if by instinct you snake your arms around her waist, feeling the fabric beneath your fingertips. Her lips hover over your own as she locks her gaze onto yours, so full of love and happiness you can’t help but become lost within her gaze enjoying a brief moment of peace with the woman you love.
“So, Mrs. Claus have I been a good girl this year?” you tease, eyeing her attire again appreciating how it compliments her form. She giggles, a glint of lust beneath her innocent gaze.
“Oh so very good. Perhaps later I can give you your presents?” she asks, continuing with your playful back and forth. You respond by taking her lips with your hungry ones, dipping her slightly.
You hear giggles close by as you both turn your heads simultaneously, watching as the twins laugh at your display of affection before pulling your wife back up and bending down slightly to pick up Harry who pulls away from you slightly as you attack him with kisses. His laughter filling your heart with glee.
Tammy takes a hold of Lucy’s hand and allows the young girl to guide her into the living to join the rest of the gang and other family members in some family games. Settling on the sofa with your wife pressed close to your side, your son sat comfortably on your lap as Lucy stands in front of you, trying to explain her film title using only her hands, you smile softly. Taking in your family and their joyous faces, you look at your precious wife next to you and kiss her lips softly, feeling her smile against your mouth.
“Merry Christmas Eve, my darling,” she whispers.
“Merry Christmas Eve, Mrs. Claus,” you reply, taking in the small bits of glitter that lays against her soft cheek from the arts and crafts done earlier in the day.
So maybe expanding the family wouldn’t be such a bad idea, after all.

Deceiving Love
This was a request idea send so all credits for the idea goes to @me-goro Thank you for the request and I promise I’ll try my best :)
Request: Enemy to Lovers where Lou meets y/n for the first time while Lou’s trying to be sneaky because she wants to get information o but Y/N is unknowingly in the way of her getting it.
This is probably not going to be that many chapters maybe a few chapters, more or less fast pace. I tried to get it in a one shot but it would’ve been too long.
I’m so sorry is so long I couldn’t find a stopping point and wanted to get as much info out there as well as introduction for the first chapter. I promise I’ll try not to make them too long in the future lol. I’m bad at finding good ending spots as well as writing characters hating on each other LOL. Fair warning I went for the crashing into each other cliché to create a bad start between them LOL
I haven’t edited it completely so there might be grammatic error and for that I apologize.
Also this is my first Ocean’s 8 Lou Miller story so I’m sorry if this turns out bad 😅
Warnings: None yet except Cursing here and there. bad first impressions if you count that (is that under angst????)
Chapter One
~Lou~
Lou parked in front of the warehouse they had rented out for the job. They made sure to rent it out under a false name to avoid backtracking in case somewhere where to go wrong. They all took a flight to France for a job Debbie insisted they should do. She claimed it a really good job and the pay was good. Personally Lou didn’t needed the extra cash and rejected the job a few times over the course of a week before finally caving in due to Debbie’s persistence. Despite her agreeing she wasn’t happy and had been slightly grouchy she wanted to focus on running her club, upgrading it here and there to make it better and maybe open another club so she was very busy.
If she did this job she had to put all the plans on hold for a while which she was upset about. She had to hire a temporary manager to run her club while she was gone, hell even Tammy tried to tell Debbie to leave Lou be but according to Debbie they’ll get caught if Lou wasn’t there. Lou had been in a bad mood that day and saying a few things that would have hurt Debbie’s feelings if Debbie had been within hearing range only Tammy heard her and the two had a lengthy conversation which made Lou wish she had a strong drink which wasn’t wise thankfully Tammy made her feel better already sensing Lou’s sudden stress. Safe to say after talking to Tammy she agreed on the job better her helping Debbie than having all seven of her friends get caught and arrested. Debbie was more than happy at Lou agreeing to do this job something Lou noticed and had to admit made her happy.
They all walked in the warehouse and looked around except for Lou who walked confidently to a chair and sat down her long legs spread out in front of her. She had already came here a week ago to get the place set up for the team she even set up a spot for nine balls with the equipment the woman needed for the heist so she didn’t needed to explore or look around. Debbie grinned at Lou proud that Lou had set the place up already Lou looked up from her phone giving Debbie a smug smirk before she finished texting her temporary club manager. She put her phone away and looked up knowing the team had gathered and Debbie took the floor.
“So, what are we stealing? You guys haven’t told us.” Amita wondered
Lou lounged back shrugging, “Don’t look at me not even I know.”
“Yo, are they diamonds?” Nine Balls wondered
“Woah, wait you haven’t told Lou?” Constance wondered shocked
“I didn’t wanted her to try and back out if I told her.” Debbie informed them earning a snort from the blonde in question who shoved a piece of gum in her mouth
“Oh now we really wanna know, spill girl what is it?” Nine stated closing the lid of her laptop
Smiling satisfied that she got everyone's attention she turned on the screen projector stating, “Hear me out first.”
The screened turned on and an drawing of three jewels popped up and beside it another image of two crowns popped up. Lou studied the items quickly wondering what was so special about them besides the lack of photograph.
The necklace collar is large and is made out of pure gold hallmarked with roses and harps made out of diamonds put to gatherer alternately. They where tied together with knots made out of pure gold and topaz diamonds. The roses where made out of diamonds and rubies. In the center of the collar was an imperial Jeweled Crown crest surmounting a harp of gold and diamonds. There was a small writing that says they're suppose to be two of them one had the imperial badge crown and the other did not other than that both necklace collars where the exact same.
The second jewel was a Grand Master diamond badge. The badge looked like it was similar to the one hanging off one of the necklaces. the badge is made out of silver containing trefoil in emerald on a ruby cross surrounded by sky blue enamel with rose diamonds writing. The crowned harp was made out of Diamonds and Brazilian stones.
The third Jewel was a simple large star made of gold diamonds and brilliants. it consisting of eight points with four lesser issuing Centre enclosing a cross of ruby and a trefoil of emeralds surrounding a sky blue enamel circle with writing in rose diamonds. The crowns was made out of pure gold, diamonds among with other jewels spread out creating a rather elegant and luxurious pattern.
Lou looked at them than at Debbie and sighed shaking her head looking incredulous. The jewels in the first image where known as the crowned jewels and the crowns where royal crowns from who knows how long ago both of which were stolen at different times ages ago. Lou was very confused as to what Debbie was planning unless Debbie decided to change her profession to treasure hunter.
“Debbie what are those jewels?” Tammy wondered confused
“Yo, what’s with the lack of photo are we downgrading or something?” Nine pointed out
“No we are not downgrading these-,” Debbie began before she was interrupted by Lou
“Those are the Crown jewels that went missing in 1906. The crowns on he right where missing in 1799 both where never seen again.” Lou explained
Debbie nodded slightly surprised Lou knows about them, “Yes, you know what they are?”
“Duh! So Indiana Jones how the fuck are we looking for said jewels are we pulling a Lara Croft or something.” Lou stated sarcastically
“If you would have let me finish Lou instead of interrupting I would have said that there was rumors that the said jewels are no longer missing they supposedly are here in this city in their most popular museum. Unfortunately we need information in order to get it that one one has but probably one person without said information there’s no way we can find them.” Debbie explained
Rose became confused and spoke up shyly, “What are they worth, don’t we usually start off by saying how much the seven of us earn?”
Debbie grinned mischievously and looked at the group proudly, “Today, four-hundred million dollars in today’s money minimum we might easily be able to up the prices due to the simple fact that the they where all stolen long ago and thought to no longer exist.”
“You’re not telling us something.” Lou pointed out casually
Debbie pressed the button on the remote and three pictures popped up, two of them where of two men one older than the other and the third of a woman Lou had to admit was the most beautiful woman she had ever laid eye’s on. She honestly could care less about the pictures of the men she was focused on the woman. Lou noticed you smiled proudly, you eyes shinning with happiness. You where wearing an outfit that was business casual, your hair styled to suit your professional style you where going for. Lou’s eyes flickered to Debbie to find her staring at her smirking smug and Lou cursed softly at being caught she knew that look anywhere. Debbie smug looked at the group and stated casually.
“These three are the ones in charge the younger man is the owner and director his name is Richard Davis, the older man’s name is Liam Moore he is the Curator, and the woman’s name is Y/F/N Y/LN she is the registrar. One or two of them have all the information we need and we need to get it out of them to find it. It’ll be too risky getting it out of Richard Davis and even Liam Moore. Our biggest chances is Y/F/N, she is in charge of what goes in and out of that place. Her job is to literally keep track of all the object, records, authenticity and borrowings so if these jewels are heading to their museum they’ll be passing through her and it'll be her job along with Liam to put them away either on display and hide them.” Debbie explained
“Don’t forget that if she has good relation with the director he’ll be giving her special tasks involving Jewels.” Tammy added earning a nod from Debbie
“So, how do we get this information out of her?” Amita wondered
Debbie grinned eying Lou again earning a sharp glare from Lou which in turn caused Debbie to laugh and look at the confused group who was looking back and forth between them wondering what they missed.
“Well Lou will be getting close to the woman and try to get information out of her she has Lou’s type written all over.” Debbie told them smug
“Like she’ll tell me the information. ‘Hey Miss. Y/L/N where the fuck are you keeping the jewels my team wants to steal them’.” Lou hissed her tone dripping sarcasm
“Please, we need the information.” Constance pleaded pouting Lou narrowed her eyes only causing Constance to pout further finally earning a sigh in defeat from Lou who all but caved she can’t resist Constance pout and she knows it she has a soft spot for the girl.
“Alright, I’ll do it. That was a cheap shot kid,” Lou pointed out getting up earning a beaming smile in return. “How hard can getting information out of her be aren’t people working in museum are boring or uptight as fuck.”
Lou without a word left the building deciding to pay the place a visit she kind of hoped one of the other’s would go in and do that after all Lou’s job was to gather anyone working for them, stealing the objects, making sure everything is going according to plan and have backup plans in case something goes wrong among other things bribing information out of someone wasn’t one of them. Granted a very attractive someone but she wasn’t going to admit that to anyone. Lou sighed realizing is been too long since she’s gotten anyone in her bed and it was starting to show. Lou climbed on a car and drove off following the GPS directions.
~You~
You rushed into the building of your workplace cursing at yourself for forgetting to set up the alarm. You moved to France from your home after finally landing a job that you actually loved for a change. You’ve always been a fan art and Historical artifacts so you began working at a big historical museum in Paris.
You walked into the building passed security and across the huge building waving hi to the security guard. You walked straight to your office that's located towards the back of the building. You barely made it in when your boss who’s also the director and owner of the museum jogged up to you looking like a kid in Christmas and you know something must have happened to get him this excited. The two of you had been friends since you started working there, you where originally the tour guide to the place before he promoted you to the official Registrar of the museum.
"Y/N right on time, we need to talk about something important that just happened." He told you barely able to contain his excitement. You honestly wonder how this man is an adult and owns this place. He is like a child sometimes.
You quirked an eyebrow at him confused, "Sure, what is it?"
He pointed to your office door, "let's go to your office to talk privately. I don't want anyone to overhear.”
Nodding more confused, you opened the door and walked in with him behind you. He closes and locks the door, tugging you into the room making you more confused if possible. The both of you sat across from each other, you barely had the chance to ask again why he was so excited when he handed you two folded piece of paper. Looking confused you opened the first one and stared at it to find an old drawing of a three jewels. You looked confused when you saw it since it looked like a drawing of the jewels rather than an actual photo.
You looked up at your boss after you studied the two pages and the descriptions of the jewels along with what was used to create them. You remember hearing about these things going missing during a conversation you had with your coworker who was a guide here in the museum. When discussing missing jewelry or historical artifacts he had mentioned several different ancient royal jewels that had gone missing and mentioned these but you weren’t sure what this had to do with anything.
“Richard, do I want to know why you’re showing me these? These aren’t even in our museum I would know is my job to memorize anything and anyone that goes in or out of this place.” You wondered confused
He grinned excitedly, “Yes, They went missing centuries ago and we recently found them again and just so happens that they are secretly on their way here we wont put them on display of course.”
Your eyes widen in shock, “Really? How the hell did you find them?"
He shrugged grinning, "I honestly don't have a clue how they where found the important thing is I got my hands on them before anyone else did. The jewels where stolen and sold in the 1900s someone must have found them recently the crowns where destroyed but turns out they where stolen and hidden. That's as far as I know."
You nodded processing the information for a moment, "okay that makes sense sort of but wouldn’t they be prone to thieves though?”
He chuckled, “Yes, which is why I have a plan which is foul proof. I did not wanted us to suffer the same fate as the Toussaint so I’m going to change a few things here and there around this place but more importantly only you and I will have all the information and location.”
You shook your head at that. Being the only one with specific information only added more stress on you especially if you’re going to be put in charge of it which you knew you where based on the look you where given.
“I’m listening. What’s this infamous information.” you told him slightly sarcastic earning a chuckle
He looked satisfied with your reply and sat back explaining the importance of having the word not get out that those jewels where discovered. He went into greater details on how they where going to get them in the museum, how they where going to be hidden, secured and how they where going to up the security and his crazy idea of adding a few decoys in other locations when you asked why the decoy he looked at you sheepish and said he took the idea from the Met when it was discovered Klugger was wearing a fake so he was borrowing the idea just in case. After he was done explaining which took up an hour or so you looked baffled.
“This better not backfire on us.” you sighed and got up getting ready for work to distract yourself leaving a smug owner in your office.
************
Most of the morning was uneventful and slightly dreadful. There was a tour by a Primary school which was stressful given how some of the kids wanted to run off on their own when their teacher and tour guide was not looking. At one point one of them almost knocked something over since they went past the security point forcing you to run and steady the item and pointing out to the teacher to keep a better eye on her students. You where of curse polite and respectful about it despite your patience being tested.
It wasn’t until the afternoon where everything started to go south. It was a lot busier an old lady freaked out believing that one of the old priceless painting was hers and tried to steal it not to mention she had a cane and smacked you with it a few times until she was escorted away from the area. You where pretty sure you where going to bruise a little. You could not help but wonder how does an old lady able to swing the cane that forcefully. So is safe to say you where in a really bad mood. You walked past the Egyptian wing and paused when you heard a childlike giggle. You walked over just in time to see yet another child trying to get past the safety line and getting inside the security glass. You ran over and stopped him before something tragic happened and fixed the glass. You couldn’t help but glare at the kid. The kid backed up but you grabbed his arm.
“Where are your parents?” You asked in a serious tone he didn’t say anything only pointed to the other side of the Egyptian wing. You walked him over to them to find them both on their phone you tapped their shoulder interrupting the careless parents.
“Yes?” the arrogant mother asked
“Is this your kid?” You asked trying to not sound rude and snap after earning a nod from both you spoke up before they can say anything, “Please keep your kid close to you I just found him nearly knocking over an artifact.”
The father took the kid and narrowed his eyes scolding his son for walking out of their side and misbehaving deciding to punish the kid by taking him home earning a temper tantrum.
“Bill don’t be harsh he didn’t mean it I’m sure we could have paid for the damages.” The mother scolded her husband
You rolled your eyes at that and said, “Yeah, ma’am keep him close and for the record neither of us can afford that thing. Instead of being on your phone how about showing your kid a good time if you payed attention to him he wont have any need to destroy the place. This is the third time I had to stop him.” you turned around and walked off not even bother with civility anymore.
You turned around and stormed off to keep an eye on the rest of the of the museum hoping nothing more will happen. You where in a bad mood and ready to go home. You walked around the corner only to collide with someone causing you to tumble back at that same moment you felt something cold splash all over you. Looking down you realized it was just water.
“Fuck. Watch where you’re walking.” the woman snapped
You glared up at her to find a pair of light blue eyes glaring right back you belonging to a tall platinum blonde woman. You looked down to find her shirt was also wet and she was holding a half empty cup.
“First of all watch where YOU’RE walking, second of all no cellphones and third off I wasn’t the one walking with a cup filled with what ever that was you’re not allowed to have liquids in this section only the lobby’s lounge area blonde.” You snapped right back
“What the fuck I was walking here you’re the one who crashed into me and be glad it was water and I’m allowed to take pictures what kind of fucking museum is this.” the woman snapped
You rolled your eyes, “That’s what bottles of water are for genius.”
That only pissed off the blonde even more, “First of all this use to be soda before I finished it and emptied my water in here second of all fuck you, you’re rude as fuck.”
Both of you glared daggers at each other clearly pissed off. Any other circumstance you would have admired how attractive and how her closed hugged her body just right but not right now. Right now you where actively glaring daggers' at her for being a rude bitch. Why the hell are the hot ones always rude and obnoxious. You wondered
You saw her unlocked phone and narrowed your eyes pointing to a sign, “You can’t take pictures in this section new rule only certain areas are allowed to have pictures taken put that phone away”
“What the fuck. First of all none of the other staffs have said shit the only uptight complaining is you second of all I only took some pictures.” The woman snapped
“I need to check your phone.” You told her. it wasn’t that you where out to get her but it was a rule and this particular area no one was allowed to take pictures ever since last year most museums and locations holding expensive items became more strict
“NO.” The woman all but growled
“I need to see it.” You said beginning to loose your patients you said hell with professionalism and snatched it looking through the pictures she took earning a protest trying to snatch it back and you stopped her with a sharp glare and grabbing her free hand. You found a few pictures of statues that are pretty heavy. You looked suspiciously at the glaring woman and handed her the phone back.
“We don’t allow phones anymore miss. Put that away.” you told her for the second time sharply
Lou glared at you not appreciating the bad treatment, “Why not the other museums allow it and I don’t appreciate having my phone snatched from me.”
“Not anymore. Blame the moron who decided team up with Klugger and steal that Toussaint necklace. Lucky them the insurance agent is dumb as fuck. No one allows phone anymore let along pictures being taken. Now either chug that drink or I’m snatching it with your phone and not returning them.” you warned and stormed off to try and clean up your top leaving a very pissed off blonde behind.
What the fuck is wrong with her? Fucking rude. You thought pissed off. You spoke sharply through your walky-talky’s earpiece to have someone clean up the spill and stormed off to your office deciding it was better do paperwork than to deal with guests.
~Lou~
It wasn’t until you stormed away when Lou realized you where the woman Debbie mentioned that had all the information and cursed at that.
Great, Getting information from someone like her will be nearly impossible. Lou thought glaring at the spot you where just in.
Lou stormed out of the building determined to get something out of you but knew it will be impossible since she knew you will probably keeping a close eye on her after that horrible interaction. Lou got even more angry when she remembered you boldly snatching her phone and probably erasing some of the pictures she had taken from the interesting objects there.
“Fucking rude uptight b.” Lou complained angrily while driving only to be interrupted by her phone. Lou drove towards the warehouse clearly pissed off evident in her feature, her posture was tense, her jawline clenched and she was gripping her steering wheel tightly. She chose to ignore the phone to annoyed to bother with answering.

The 7 Times Lou Miller almost kissed you + the one time you kissed her
Synopsis: There’s always been something between you and Lou.
Words: 2910
Warnings: none
**GIF not mine**
1.
You were sitting on the floor of the loft, a box of pizza open in front of you. The place was quiet, everyone out for the evening and you were getting ready to settle in for a nice evening alone full of bad movies and junk food. You were just lifting a large slice into your mouth when you heard footsteps.
“Oh, hi.”
You smiled up at Lou. She stood over you, one hand on her hip, a sceptical look on her face. You held up the slice of pizza.
“You want some?”
She lowered herself beside you, stretching her legs out in front of her. You pushed the box towards her, finally taking a bite of the cheesey goodness. She took a slice, considering you over the top of it.
“I thought you had to be at your club tonight,” you said, wiping some grease away from the corner of your mouth.
“Turns out things run smoother when I’m not there micro managing everyone,” she replied, “something about less pressure and stress on the employees making them perform better.”
“I can’t believe your one of those overbearing bosses,” you said, laughing, “I thought you were meant to be the cool one.”
“I am the cool one.”
You laughed, leaning towards her. You pressed your forehead against her shoulder, trying to stifle your giggling. You could practically feel her rolling her eyes.
“Okay, okay, no need to make such a big deal out of this,” she said.
She grabbed your chin, forcing you to look at her. Her eyes were sparkling despite the stern look on her face. You were still giggling, your tongue trapped between your teeth. Her eyes flickered down then back to yours. Your giggles stopped.
“I can think of a much more pleasurable way to spend the evening than being the overbearing boss at the club.”
You watched her draw steadily closer, heat rising in your cheeks. She was so close you could see every single eyelash, you could count the colours in her eyes, you could feel her breath ghosting over your lips. You might not have put it in to words before, but the yearning inside you was almost unbearable.
“Well that was a waste of time.”
You jerked away from Lou, your face feeling as hot as the sun. Daphne was striding past you, not even bothering to look at the two of you. You watched her go, shuffling away from Lou just a little. You picked up your slice of pizza again.
“There goes my quiet night,” you muttered.
“It was already gone, sweetheart.”
Lou got up, leaving you too.
2.
You sat on a bench in the park, people watching as you waited for the rest of the team to show up. A lake was in front of you, ducks quacking as they chased tourists for food.
A warm body bumped against yours as it sat down. You turned your head, recognising the blonde hair in your peripheral vision. An arm looped through yours, a body pressing close in the cold air. You shifted against it, drawing closer to share in the warmth.
“You’re here early,” Lou said.
“I thought I’d get some fresh air,” you replied.
“I’m glad to catch you alone.”
Something in your lower stomach tightened. You drew away from her, wanting to put some space between the two of you. If what you thought was coming, you did not want to be sharing the same breathing space as her.
“Oh?” You tried to sound light but weren’t sure you’d managed it.
“We were interrupted last time,” she said.
“By Daphne.”
“Yes.”
Her hand came up, cupping your cheek to turn your head towards her. You stilled, not sure what she was doing. This was hardly the let down you’d been expecting.
“I intend to fix that now, sweetheart,”
Her breath ghosted over your lips. Your eyes slipped closed, waiting, every atom in your body straining towards her. She paused.
“Or another time.”
You blinked your eyes open. Lou was staring at something over your shoulder. You turned, looking too. Debbie was sauntering up the path, her hands in the pocket of her coat. You sighed, drawing away from Lou.
“To be picked up another time,” she said.
“Sure.”
3.
The beat was thrumming through your body, your hips swaying in time. Alcohol had loosened you up, giving you the confidence you needed to join the dance floor. Your eyes were closed, feeling the music rather than watching the other dancers. You wanted to get lost in the moment forever. You were glad you’d accepted Lou’s invitation to visit her club, despite your initial anxiety. She hadn’t spoken of the almost kisses since that day in the park. You were hoping this was the olive branch to change that.
Warm hands settled on your hips. You jerked away, your eyes flying open. You turned your head, only to be met with blonde hair and the sting of vodka in your nose. You sighed, letting out a relieved chuckle.
You lent back against the strong body, following Lou as she picked up the rhythm you’d lost in your surprise. Her breath was ghosting over the skin of your neck. You shuddered, pressing against her more insistently.
One of her hands slipped around you, her fingers slipping under your shirt, brushing against the skin of your stomach. You groaned, turning your head to try and find her.
Blue eyes met yours, dark and all consuming. Your skin was hot, a coil within you tightening. Your eyes flickered down to her lips then back to her eyes. She tightened her hold on your hip.
Before ou could close the gap you felt someone grab your arm, pulling you out of Lou’s grasp. You turned, ready to shout at whoever it was. You met large dark eyes, Daphne grinning at you. Her eyes were a little glazed but other than that she looked as fresh as the start of the night.
“Come dance with me,” she shouted over the music.
You shot a glance at Lou over your shoulder but she’d already melted back into the crowd. You pushed the disappointment back down as you let Daphne lead you back into the dance.
4.
You were lying on your bed, legs stretched out in front of you as you lent against the pile of pillows against your headboard. You had a book open in your lap, your finger running along the rough edges of the paper. You weren’t taking in the words, your ears straining for noises from the rest of the loft.
You’d heard movement before, the door closing, voices coming and going. It had all fallen silent a few minutes ago but it was hard to tell if you were alone in the building. You turned your attention back to the book, assuming that if the person you hoped to see was still there then she would come see you. Your business was unfinished.
You turned the page in your book. Your door creaked as it opened. You dragged your eyes up, watching Lou slip in. She climbed onto the bed beside you, leaning back in your pillows. You closed the book, putting it on your bedside table.
“Don’t stop on my account,” she said, flashing you a smile.
“I have something more interesting now,” you replied.
“Must be quite captivating to keep you from an interesting book.”
“Oh, it is.”
She swung herself over, straddling your lap. Your hands settled on her hips as she wrapped her arms around your neck.
“Fourth time is the charm,” she murmured.
She lent down, drawing closer to you as you strained up towards her. Her nose brushed against yours, her lips close enough to feel as she spoke.
“I’ve been waiting a long time for this.”
You heard the door below open and close, loud as a gunshot in the silence. Lou stilled, a hair’s breadth from you. You dug your fingers into the flesh of her hips, trying to bring her attention back to you, but she was listening to whoever had returned.
“Hey guys, is anyone here?” The voice called up to you.
“Tammy,” you said at the same time as Lou.
Lou hauled herself off you, her hands slipping from you. You let out a frustrated groan.
“Can’t we ignore her?” you asked.
“She’ll be knocking on the door any.” A knock sounded on the door, “second.”
“Anyone in there?” Tammy called through the wood.
Lou gave you a pointed look. You threw your hands in the air in surrender and fell back amongst your pillows. Lou climbed off the bed and opened the door.
“Oh sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt,” Tammy said.
“You weren’t interrupting anything. We were discussing literature,” Lou replied, stepping out and closing the door.
You sighed, picking up your book again. It was the only company you’d have that night.
5.
You had your hands cupped around a warm mug of coffee, leaning backwards on the bench in the kitchen. You were watching Tammy cook with a glass of wine in her hand, stirring something in a large pot. Whatever it was, it was making your mouth water.
“I didn’t realise Lou had such an interest in literature,” Tammy said.
“What?” She gave you a penetrating look, “oh, right. Yeah. She has all kinds of interests.”
“Interests you share?” You ignored the amusement in her voice.
“Sometimes.”
“And should we be worried about those shared interests?” she asked.
“I shouldn’t think so.”
“I hope not.”
The door slammed open, Lou striding in, a look of determination on her face. You gave her a smile but she ignored it, jerking her head to the stairs you. You followed behind, ignoring the penetrating stare of Tammy as you left.
Lou held the door to her bedroom open, waiting for you to enter. You slipped inside, looking around the room. It was clean, almost meticulously so. A large bed, white and soft, stood in the middle of the room, just waiting for someone to fall into it. The light streamed in through a huge window, bathing everything in warmth.
“Can I help you with something?” you asked after Lou had closed the door.
She plucked the mug from your hands, wrinkling her nose when she saw how milky you’d made it. She put it down on a shelf as you watched, not sure what she was doing. She stalked towards you, a fierce glint in her eye. You backed away, uncertainty keeping you from her. Your back hit the far wall. You inhaled sharply.
“I think it’s time we finished that discussion from the other night,” she said.
One hand landed on the wall by your head. You looked up into her face, feeling your skin burn with the intensity of her gaze. Her other hand grasped your chin, tilting your face up to her. She shook her hair from her eyes as she traced your bottom lip with her thumb. Warmth pooled in your stomach.
“I can’t take it any longer,” she said.
“Then kiss me.”
A loud banging started up on the door. Lou ignored it, drawing closer to you. Your eyes fell closed, waiting, every atom of your body straining towards her. The banging didn’t stop. With a growl she tore herself away from you, ripping the door open.
“If you can bear to, Tammy has finished cooking and we’d quite like you both to join us.”
Debbie. You pushed yourself off the wall, ignoring the way your legs wobbled beneath you. You walked past Lou and Deb, trying to regain your composure. You didn’t need to endure any more teasing. From any of them.
6.
There was something to be said for the quiet of a library. All you could hear was the rustle of paper, the scratch of pens, the click of keyboards. You scratched the back of your neck as you looked over the old newspaper.
Debbie had sent you off to do some last minute research. She needed some leverage on someone, and given how the last job went, you were willing to trust her on this despite not knowing how it connected to the new job. There was nothing that had turned up yet, but Debbie had faith in you so you couldn’t let her down.
“Are you going to keep reading all night?”
You jumped, dropping the paper to the floor. You grumbled, stooping down to pick them up again. Lou chuckled, helping you collect the scattered papers. Her fingers brushed against yours as she passed them over.
“This is not proper library etiquette,” you said. She grinned at you.
“The library is closing soon,” she said, “c’mon, there’s a great Vietnamese place around the corner.”
“I’m not done yet.”
“Yes.” She put her hand over yours, “you are.”
You hadn’t realised how close she was to you. You turned your head, ready to tell her what she could do with her Vietnamese place, only to find your nose brushing against hers. You jerked back but one of her hands shot out, grasping the back of your neck.
Her eyes flicked down to your lips, your tongue darting out to wet them. You took a deep breath in, waiting, seeing the precipice before you. You were ready to jump.
“The library is closing for the night.”
You jumped. A woman was standing at the end of the stacks, looking at the two of you. You drew away from Lou, putting the papers down on the closest table. You walked past the librarian, assuming Lou would follow.
“So Vietnamese?” you asked over your shoulder to her.
“Vietnamese,” she agreed.
7.
You were growing restless, Lou had been gone for a few weeks, putting plans into motion for the job. You didn’t like to admit you missed her but the loft felt empty without her snarky comments. You were lounging on the sofa, your eyes closed, listening to Amita and Constance talking.
You’d declined Daphne’s invitation to go out with her, you had ignored Amita and Constance’s attempts to draw you into conversation, and you hadn’t bothered listening to Rose’s mumblings about fabrics. All you wanted to do was lie there and think about things.
It was no secret there was something going on between you and Lou. Tammy had picked up on it weeks ago, Debbie probably knew longer, and finally, finally, the others were cluing in. If only something had actually happened.
The number of near misses were leaving you breathless. You were anxious, your stomach a roiling mess every time you saw her. It was a very specific type of torture. It was driving you crazy.
“Well, we’re ready to go tomorrow.”
You sat up, Lou had managed to enter through the door without you hearing it, masked by the chatter of your teammates. You blinked at her. She looked windswept, disgruntled, but satisfied with whatever she’d been doing.
“Then tomorrow we move out,” Debbie said from the upper level.
“Move out where?” Amita asked.
“To the west coast. Nineball will get us the tickets for tomorrow.”
“For all of us?” you asked.
“You better pack a bag.”
She disappeared back into her room, presumably to go through her extensive closet and pack what she’d need. You got off the sofa, wandering over to Lou.
She grabbed your face, pulling you towards her. She gave you an intense look, pulling you closer to her. Finally, you’d feel her lips against yours. Her eyes shone.
“Hey, there’ll be plenty of time to do that when we’re done with this job,” Debbie called down to you, “get packing.”
You slipped away before the disappointment could overwhelm you.
+ 1.
The job was a success. Or so you’d been told. You’re part had gone flawlessly, exactly to plan, just as Debbie had described. You assumed it had gone well with everyone else. Constance seemed to think so when you’d passed her as you’d left the building.
You rushed back towards the loft, detouring by your place to get changed to give you a better chance of not being recognised on any security cameras. Just like Debbie had told you.
The loft was quiet when you got back. You were used to people making all kind of noise, not the quiet strains of music from the upper level. You wandered up, hoping it was more than a forgotten radio.
You pushed the door open, knowing what you were hoping to see. A tall frame was laying on the bed, arms behind her head, eyes closed as her foot bobbed in time with the music. You smiled, closing the door too quietly to be heard over the music.
Her eyes opened as you hauled yourself onto the bed, slinging one leg over her lap. Her hands grabbed your hips, ready to push you off. You smiled, leaning down.
“Eighth time lucky,” you said.
You pressed your lips to hers before she could say anything, before anyone could walk in, before anything could stop you. Her fingers tightened on your hips. She kissed you hard, intense, like a drowning woman looking for air. You couldn’t stop yourself moaning into her mouth.
You didn’t stop when you heard other people come in. You didn’t stop when there was a knock on the door. You didn’t stop when you heard an exasperated noise from the doorway.
Nothing was going to stop you this time.

I've seen that most of the stories on ao3 about them are mostly canon-compliant (and I don't have anything against that tbh) but I was wondering if you have any aus that you think could fit them or that you'd like to see?
omg i have SO MANY aus!! (it got Very Long so its under a cut)
- college au! danny gets kicked out (hes on full scholarship and does Thiefly Things to cover his expenses so hes not endangered just fairly fucked up abt it) (does it count as kicked out if u only live w ur dad three months a year) in freshman year, he befriends rusty (1 year below him) in sophomore year, debbie also befriends rusty (she and danny dont talk much but shes 2 yrs below him at the same college), and when reuben comes calling for a job he thinks debbie has a boyfriend (thanks to debbie telling her dad that she does) so she fake dates rusty. who ends up joining the job. and danny is Very Jealous
- snl ripoff au! danny and rusty are the weekend-update-adjacent anchors and they get gay. i Would have this take place in la (reuben is taking A Risk producing a late night sketch comedy show on the west coast but the 11/12/however fuckin many are fantastic cast members so even though they lose revenue from the other timezones not watching as much as they watch snl or whatever, they still make BANK... but danny and rusty getting gay throws the equilibrium out of whack) BUT la sucks DICK so its happening in new york. also this way u get Ocean Sibling Banter (debbie and lou are the anchors for The Actual Weekend Update and when debbie/lou get together and also when danny/rusty get together there are so many ‘just switch out the blondes/brunettes nobody will be able to tell and we won’t have hr down our necks’ jokes)
- au where the caldwells, abt to go deep undercover on a Huge Fucking Case, have to give up custody of 6 year old linus to tess and danny. the case stretches on for twelve years and linus grows up w tess and danny (who get divorced like right after they adopt him bc tess finds out abt dannys Thiefly Activities-- he confesses to her bc he doesnt rly want to predispose the kid to said thiefly activities) and also isabel (she and rusty break up like Right Before tess and dannys wedding and its very funny; she then goes on to marry tess) parenting him (rusty isnt as much in the picture bc he doesnt feel bad at all abt stealing and tess doesnt want linus to pick up that mentality also rusty Feels Things abt danny)! then when linus is like 18 or 19 danny disappears (tess and isabel think its Thiefly Activities again and arent concerned, just disappointed, but linus is very concerned for his dad-slash-stepdad-slash-sort-of-uncle) and he tracks down rusty so they can find danny. they roadtrip across america and eventually catch up to danny, who is helping the caldwells, and the five of them take down whatever gang the caldwells were chasing. linus now has 6 parents
- au based on this post where some archaeologist finds a bunch of dannys [french person voice] Love Lettairs 2 rusty and so obviously the logical course of action is to rob the museum (which happens to be the museum that tess is curating. funny how things work out) without telling his team What Theyre Stealing. they successfully pull off the heist but turns out the letters were not among the items they stole!! danny is getting desperate. as a last-ditch attempt he calls tess and asks her to let them rob the museum. shes like Why The Fuck Would I Do That. he explains and she begrudgingly agrees. danny and livingston go break into the museum Again but rusty tails them bc dannys been acting Weird and he finds out abt the letters bc livingston sweats more whenever he tells a lie. they live happily ever after (literally, theyre immortal) the end. also even though dannys a werewolf the 11 all call him the new jersey devil (its not his fault that legend came to be ok!! he was very drunk!!)
- childhood friends au!! danny and rusty were best buds as very young kids and then the oceans had to move. flash forward 2 present day where danny and debbie r robbing a museum (theyre building a flower shop over the vault and tunneling in, the dudes in brazil who came up w it are very very clever) and guess which two people are the assistant curators (is that even a title?). guess. ill tell u its tess and rusty! danny recognizes rusty, rusty ‘does not recognize’ danny (which is valid. look at photos of child george clooney and tell me you would recognize him). the 11 demand that they use this to their advantage and so danny and rusty Sort Of Date while the rest set up for the robbery, and danny feels really bad abt it so on the day of (after everyone has gotten away, ofc, he might be a lovesick bitch but hes not a snitch) he confesses and rustys like lmao i was onto u from the start. what kind of a name is [insert alias here] anyway. then they go live a life of crime and its great
- @sanduschism came up w a fantastic au where danny pickpockets rusty and feels bad so he sends the wallet back and they strike up a Correspondence
- HOSPITAL AU!!! danny and rusty r er techs while theyre doing med school and nobody knows how they juggle their shifts w school but also rusty can do a tracheotomy in like 5 seconds and danny can tell when a person needs an mri before they even list their symptoms so nobody questions it and nobody splits them up Ever. when they eventually become surgeons, danny does cardio and rusty does neuro, and whenever they have to work together not only do they never have to say what theyre doing, they don't even have What Do U Want To Cook For Dinner convos fully out loud. tess is head nurse... she makes so many excel spreadsheets... they are ALL color coded. isabel is head er doc and nobody dares to halfass things on her watch. reuben is head hospital admin, saul is chief surgeon, basher is head of the burn unit, the malloys r the HUNKIEST nurses in town, frank does plastic surgery/ent (every patient loves him bc he is just So Calm), livingston is The IT Guy, yen does like orthopedics or physical therapy, and linus is their fav resident who they all lovingly tease 24/7. the ocean sibs r both Cardio Gods and each dominate their respective coasts. debbie is an nyc doctor and if she sees a mass gen doctor its on SIGHT. the few surgeries that she and danny collab on go so fast that the med students in the gallery Cannot tell whats happening. lou is also a plastic surgeon and she and frank r best buds. linus requests time off like 6 months in advance Every Time and everyone hates it bc then They have to be on call but he doesnt realize his Extreme Overachieverness is causing so much strife. whenever tess and danny get in an argument she colorcodes his rounds spreadsheet to be the most neon shit youve ever seen. can you tell i never fully progressed past my greys anatomy phase this one is like 93489302 lines long
- superpower au where rusty has midas touch and danny has corrosive touch and when theyre too young to have control over their powers (abilities develop throughout adolescence and the user gains control at the end of adolescence) they accidentally brush hands and are terrified they just killed each other but turns out their powers like. cancel out. so until they reach like 21 or 22 and can touch things without fucking them UP they just. hold hands all the time. bc otherwise they have to wear gloves to prevent Accidents and both of them “hate gloves” (and also love holding hands. gayasses)
- uhhh hallmark au where danny is a crime fiction writer out on some beach north of ocean city nj and rusty is his fancy nyc editor. everyone else is a thief including debbie who is just Very weirded out that her brother, who robbed boston’s institute of contemporary art at age 22 and got away with it, has decided to spend the rest of his life churning out books. he is very critically acclaimed and about half of the 11 are buds with him and use his published books as heist inspo. the other ~half of the 11 are buds with rusty, and they tell him if danny’s heists are feasible or not (they always are. scarily so.) anyway rusty and isabel break up 12 days before xmas and danny and tess break up 8 days before hanukkah so dannys heading to debbie’s place in upstate new york to mope for the holidays when A BLIZZARD HITS and he gets stranded in midtown. and he and rusty are buds but like. Email Buds. they dont hang out irl and therefore they dont let their Totally Bud-Like Feelings mess up their professional relationship. but danny is stranded and its hanukkah and he ends up crashing at rustys place for the duration of the blizzard. and then rusty ends up coming to debbies place for the rest of the holidays. and then they kiss on new years eve and debbie kicks them out bc theyre being gross
- And More! thanks for the ask, anon! sorry it got so long lol i just have Many Thoughts

Proof Is In The Word
“The liberal person shall be enriched, and he who waters shall himself be watered.” Proverbs 11:25AMPC
In my lifetime, I have never seen so many needs, tragedies, losses, sicknesses, incurable diseases, unexpected deaths, hurricanes, and earthquakes. Hands are out in the semi-rich and poor quarters, everywhere. Needs are great. Needs are real.
The earthquake in Turkey and Syria brought tears to my eyes. Devastation of the hurricanes causes me to cry. Children caught in trafficking caused me to sob. Poverty overseas and children living on the streets, tears flow. People in our churches and families are losing their homes, can’t pay their payments; have lost their jobs. Needs are great. Huge.
Ministries we are involved with have needs to complete their callings. All preachers talk about planting seeds— money— in ‘good soil.’ Whose soil is good and whose soil is bad? This takes a lot of discernment.
We’re instructed by God to sow seeds. In Proverbs 11 we have a total of five verses: V17 “The merciful, kind, and generous man benefits himself [for his deeds return to bless him]…” V18 “The wicked man earns deceitful wages, but he who sows righteousness (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation) shall have a sure reward [permanent and satisfying].” V24 “There are those who [generously] scatter abroad, and yet increase more; there are those who withhold more than is fitting or what is justly due, but it results only in want.” V31 “Behold, the [uncompromisingly] righteous shall be recompensed on earth…”
Read Proverbs 3:9-10AMPC “Honor the Lord with your capital and sufficiency [from righteous labors] and with the firstfruits of all your income; So shall your storage places be filled with plenty, and your vats shall be overflowing with new wine.” Proverbs 19:17ESV “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed” Proverbs 22:9BSB “A generous man will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.” Proverbs 28:27ESV “Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse.”
The prophet said in Isaiah 58:10NLT “Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.”
Jesus discussed giving in Luke 6:38NKJV “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Proof is in the Word. God is generous, especially when we’re generous to others. I’ve been examining the Word of God thoroughly and found God doesn’t lift up or help stingy people.
There’s a preacher whom Lou and I like very well, he says— ‘Everything in your house is a seed. Don’t be afraid to plant any seed God prompts you to plant anywhere He tells you to plant it.’ Maybe someone needs towels— towels become seeds, plant those towels in that need. It’s not always money we need give. Jesus said in Matthew 25-35ESV “For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed Me,”
Needs are great in each Believer’s pocketbook. Can our deficits be because we are more concerned with our needs instead of the needs of others? God’s allowing many occasions for us to help others and get blessed by a generous God. Will we become the “liberal person” watering others that we ourselves will “be watered.” It’s your choice. You choose.
LET’S PRAY: LORD God I ask You open our understanding to Your way of finances. Change and deepen each of us in our lives of generosity, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Green With Envy. (Lou Miller x Fem!Reader)
Anonymous Asked: Lou from oceans 8 and sarcastic, funny girlfriend who's younger then her and part of the crew . Headcanon ?
Pairings: Lou Miller x Fem!Jealous!Reader
Word Count: 1.3k
Warnings: none I think?
A/N: okay, I really like this ask, also i have food poisoning!
The Louvre heist went unbelievably well.
Lou and Tammy returned to the warehouse with the U Haul of oil paintings, welcomed with a round of applause from the rest of the ladies. It was the middle of the night, and everyone had slowly returned to base, first Nine-ball, then Debbie, Rose, and Constance. You arrived, then third to last, Amita.
Everyone was in the process of stripping the warehouse clean of any evidence of the heist.
“Well done, fellas,” Debbie called, unpinning several map diagrams from the wall. “Take a break tonight; the money will be wired to each of our accounts by morning, and we’ll be out of Paris before then.”
Lou hopped down from driver’s seat, clearly pleased. You were shoving your laptop into your bag when an arm wrapped itself around your waist.
“Good work today, hon.” You could feel Lou’s smile on your neck. “You were spectacular.”
You grinned. “You weren’t so bad yourself, babe.”
her hand wound around you and took the bag from your hands. “Once this place is clean, how about we head out for a late dinner? Marseilles is still open... we can split a bottle of wine and celebrate.”
You turned around, nose to nose with Lou. Her eyes were dark-ringed from the late nights, hair tousled from the long drive. Despite the exhaustion, Lou was smiling down at you. You wound your arms around Lou’s neck.
“I can think of a few other ways to celebrate,” You hummed, pressing a gentle kiss to her lips. “I’ve still got my apartment until tomorrow afternoon. That’s plenty of time for us to-”
“Hey! Lou!” Constance shouted from the cat walk. “Debbie wants to talk to you! Get your ass up here now!”
You could feel her deflate in your arms. “Alright, I’ll be up in a bit.”
Sighing, Lou pulled away from you with an apologetic look on her face. “Give me like, two minutes, y/n. I’ll be back.”
“Well,” You turned back to your work bench, mouth in a thin line. “Don’t expect me to wait for you.”
“Hey, don’t play that it way, kiddo.”
“Oh, for god’s sake,” you rolled your eyes. “I’m not a kid, I’m 25.”
She smiled, all warm and coy, and you felt your heart melt a bit. “I know baby, you never fail to remind me.”
Lou turned on her heel and walked off to find Debbie while you packed away stray papers and notebooks.
“Hey,Y/N, why the long face?” Nine Ball rolled over in a wheelie chair. “I know this is your first major job, but you did a good job, don’t worry about anything.”
“I’m not worried,” you said, leaning against the bench. “I’m just.. thinking.”
“Ugh, thinking? at this hour?” Amita sidled up next to you. “We just finished thinking; let your brain rest.”
Nine Ball waved her off. “Thinking about what?”
“About Lou.”
Amita’s face changed. “Trouble in paradise?”
“No,” you responded. “Not really. It’s just that every time I think she and I are good, or that we’re getting to a good place; she puts the job, and Debbie before us. It’s getting exhausting. I just want to be with her, you know?”
Nine Ball nodded.
“Why don’t you say something?” Amita asked.
You shook your head. “I’m making a mountain out of a mole hill. Lou doesn’t think that anything is wrong, so why should I right?”
“Don’t be like that,” Nine Ball said firmly. “If you got a problem with your lady, you gotta work it out. There’s no point butting heads ‘til you fall apart. Especially if it’s about work.”
Amita pointed at her. “Solid advice.”
“I know, I know,” you sighed. “It’s not really about work, it’s more about...”
Amita and Nine Ball leaned forward.
“...our boss.”
Their eyes widened as they spoke in unison.
“Debbie?”
You waved your hands to silence them. “Shhh!”
Tammy looked over at the three of you. “Everything okay, ladies?”
“We’re fine!” you called, plastering on a huge grin. “Everything is great!”
“Y/N and Lou are in choppy waters,” Amita called out.
“We’re trying to help her.” Nine Ball chimed in.
Rose perked up from her desk. “Oh no, dear. What’s the matter?”
“I- nothing is the matter!”
Tammy raised a brow. “Doesn’t really seem like that, purely based on your reaction.”
Constance seated herself on your bench. “Anything we can help with?”
“Nope! Super okay without any help!”
“Y/N is jealous of Debbie, because Debbie spends more time with Lou, than Lou does with Y/N.” Amita supplied.
“That’s not true,” you groaned, hands over your face. “This isn’t really a group conversation.”
Constance laughed, hands on your shoulders. “Hey! we’re a team through thick and thin!”
“Are you going to talk to her?” Rose asked. “I think it’s best to bring it up with her.”
Nine Ball raised her hand. “I suggested that.”
“It’s a good idea,” Tammy agreed. “Any idea how you’re going to slide it into conversation?”
“Over dinner?”
“On the phone?”
“On the flight home?”
You held your hand up. “Okay! Enough! I will figure it out... alone.”
There were a couple of shoulder shrugs, but the group dispersed soon enough. Nine Ball grinned while Amita patted your arm.
“You good?”
“Yeah,” You sighed. “I’ll talk to her at dinner.”
***
You folded your napkin over your lap, taking in Paris’ night scene. You sat in front of Marseilles, at one of the porch tables. The waitress had placed a bottle of wine and basket of bread on the table while you draped your jacket on the back of your chair.
The streets weren’t as busy as you had anticipated, only a few couples and pedestrians strolled on the road.
Police cars with their wailing sirens raced by, in the direction of the Louvre. You calmly sipped your wine.
You were trying to organize your thoughts, when a hand rested on your arm.
It was Lou, standing above you with that little smirk that reached her eyes. “Hey darling, have you ordered yet?”
“No,” you hummed. “I was waiting to see if you were going to show up. I’m glad you did.”
“I’ll never let you down, babe,” she joked, seating herself across from you.
You poured Lou a glass of wine while she flipped through the menu.
“Hey, Lou,” you sat forward. “Can I talk to you about something?”
“Uh oh,” she whispered, still grinning. “Am I in trouble?”
“Not yet. I’ve been thinking about us and our relationship. I don’t know if it’s pressure from the job or maybe I’m over-thinking everything, but I feel like we’re changing.”
“Changing?” She swirled her wine glass. “In a bad way?”
You titled your head. “Maybe. You feel a lot more distant; more interest in jobs than us.”
Lou was quiet as you continued.
“I mean- every time we’re together, something pulls you away. Let it be a heist, or running some club, or something Debbie needs-”
“Debbie?”
“- It always feels like I’m always second place.”
Lou sat back, thinking to herself. You looked at your hands, playing with the napkin. God, this was strange.
“Honey,” Lou finally said. “If you were jealous, you could have just said so.”
Your head snapped up, eyebrows furrowed. “I am not jealous, Lou!”
“But you are,” she laughed. “That’s okay, you know.”
“No, it’s not okay,” you fumed. “I’m not the jealous type. Especially if the subject is you and Debbie.”
Lou leaned forward, taking one of your hands in her’s. “Honey, I’ll be the first one to say that we haven’t been spending a lot of time together in recent weeks. But after tomorrow, we’ll be in Buenos Aires, and we’ll spend all the time in the world together.”
You nodded. “I feel ridiculous.”
“Please don’t. You’re allowed to worry, love.”
You grinned, raising her hand to press a feather-light kiss to the knuckles. “Come on, let’s order.”
The police sirens faded away as you and Lou sipped wine and enjoyed the Parisian evening.

These aren’t necessarily my personal favourite songs, though some are. And many of my all-time favourite songs are not on this list simply because I cannot figure out how they’d fit into the show/storyline. Cause we know that song lyrics on this show have meaning for the characters. And lyrics are part of the storyline, not separate.
ET: But I really want them to use (in some way, in some form) something from ABBA, Leonard Cohen, Queen, Hall & Oates, OMD, some power-voice female singer(s)... to name a few things... even if I have no idea how they’d incorporate those artists/songs... Like I want Mo to sing something Jessie J for example.
Most of the songs are for Z/M and the “love triangle” because this is the one & only storyline we know for sure is happening, hence easy to name “fitting” songs. I find it harder to suggest other songs without knowing the stoylines. !

Ocean’s 8 fanfiction

And maybe tammy says something that’s losses the reader of more. Then the reader walking out. The next morning the reader is ignoring all the texts and calls from Tammy and the girls. Tammy going over to talk to her...
Summary: Tammy is planning something for you with the team, but can’t let you know about it.
Characters: Tammy x fem!reader, the Ocean’s girls, (divorced!Tammy)
Word Count: 2,550
Warnings: Angst angst angst angst angst angst!!!!!! Miscommunication!! Hurt & comfort! Eventual happy ending :)
You first started feeling uneasy when Tammy’s text responses went from excited paragraphs and emojis to one-word answers. It was such a simple thing, but you barely got to see her in person some weeks, and this was the only thing that kept you connected.
After an inevitable divorce, Tammy moved to the city to be closer with the entire group, sharing custody of her children every other week. It had been stressful, but you had been there for her every step of the way, and a fruitful, happy romance had blossomed.
But now, even after all those months, there was a sudden barrier you couldn’t seem to get through. Her phone calls were hasty, her texts short, and no one else in the group seemed concerned like you were. You got no updates on her kids, which usually she couldn’t stop taking about. Frankly, it felt like she had gotten tired of you.
So, you shut your phone off and went out for the rest of the day, window-shopping and wandering around the city to get your fuming mind off of things.
-
On the other side of the city, in Lou’s spacious loft, Tammy had gathered the other ladies, vigorously typing lists on her phone as she paced back and forth.
“Really, Tam, you’re overthinking this! Why do you feel the need to go through all this?” Lou sighed, swirling her glass of rye.
“Because it has to be just right,” Tammy snapped back.
Everyone knew how detail-oriented and perfectionist Tammy was. It was a life-saver for criminal activity and ensured safety for the gang to get through undetected. But sometimes, in ordinary life, it was a bit overkill.
“I really don’t think Y/N needs all this, babe,” Nineball added, lounging in a large, velvety bean bag and a joint between her lips. “Lou’s right, you’re overthinking it.”
“Listen, she’s my girlfriend, and this is my plan. Can you please just be a little bit supportive of this?” Tammy threw her hands up, exasperated.
“Her birthday isn’t for another month,” Debbie pointed out.
“Exactly, I’m already running behind!”
The remaining seven shared a few bemused glances before Daphne handed Tammy a glass of wine to calm down. Debbie sighed, pulled up a chair and reached for the snack bowl.
“Alright, what’s the plan, TamTam?”
-
You still had one of Lou’s door keys from the last heist, and figured it was the best time to return it. It was starting to get late, and it was a bit of a walk, but you didn’t mind. The fresh air did good for your nerves and bad mood.
You hadn’t seen Lou in ages either, so you figured a quick catch-up was needed too. Not even thinking, you used the key to let yourself in, washed over by warm light coming from inside, and-
Laughter? Music?
You froze. The first person you saw, of course, was Tammy. Your eyes were drawn to her in any room, always. She was laughing, nursing a drink in her hand, chatting with Lou and Debbie, who looked equally as pleased.
There was popcorn popping in the microwave, and the TV was showing a movie. Your heart sank little by little, as you realized that yes, they really had gotten tired of you. You didn’t register the pile of paper and notes on the coffee table, at all.
Lou saw you first, and went a little pale. She registered the keys in your hands were hers, and it clicked in her brain why you were there. She nudged Debbie, who immediately turned off the music, as if they’d been caught doing something illegal.
Then Tammy turned her head and saw you, her beautiful smile fading away instantly. Her mouth hung open a little, as if she didn’t know what to make of you standing there, in the flesh.
Suddenly your confusion melted into anger, and your heart broke little by little as they stood there, staring at you, not even bothering to say anything.
You tossed the keys to the floor, turned around, and slammed the front door shut.
-
No one was moving. Tammy’s brain was lagging, still trying to register why you looked so distraught, so betrayed. The rest of the group eyed her shyly. Constance had a mouth full of popcorn that she was afraid to chew down on because of how loud it would be in the silence.
“You fucking idiot,” Rose was the first to speak up- Tammy was shocked to hear her swear. “What’re you doing jus’ standing there? Get out and go after her!”
“Yeah,” Amita said, “she didn’t look too happy when seeing all of us.”
“Did you tell her where you would be today, Tam?” Debbie questioned her, looking her squarely in the eye. Tammy bit her lip, and shook her head. Cue a collective frustrated groan.
“Tammy, we love you, but you can be so stupid sometimes,” Lou said, grabbing her glass from her. “Go on!”
Tammy nearly stumbled over her heels as she hurried after you, fearing she wouldn’t be able to find you in the dark.
“Y/N?” she called out, frantically looking out as the door closed behind her. She spun around, looking left and right. “Y/N!”
“Stop yelling,” you snapped. She turned and saw you leaning against a streetlamp, face washed in eerie light.
“You’re still here,” she said, relieved.
“No, I’m just waiting for a cab,” you said, not meeting her gaze. “You should go back to your party.”
“Do you want to come inside?” she asked you, wringing her hands.
“No, thanks,” you said, shoving your hands deep in your pockets. “I wasn’t invited, so.”
“Oh, Y/N, I didn’t mean to-,”
“No, no, you clearly did,” you shook your head, interrupting her. “It’s fine, really. But next time you get sick of me, have the fucking courtesy to actually break up with me, please?”
“What are you talking about?”
“You’re barely answering any of my texts, and every time we talk you’re miles away. And now you’re throwing a party with the whole team, except for me. What gives?”
“It’s not what you think!”
“What the hell am I supposed to think, then? Do you even realize what the past few weeks have been like for me? Jesus, Tammy, I’ve been worried sick.”
Tammy didn’t know what to say. She didn’t want to lose you, she knew she couldn’t lose you, but to explain the plans and explain everything she’d prepared would ruin so, so much.
“Y/N, I love you with my entire heart. I can explain, I promise.”
“No, forget it,” a cab pulled up to the sidewalk and you yanked open the door. “Come back when you’ve made up your mind, I guess. Unless it’s something I don’t want to hear. Bye, Tammy.”
With that, the cab sped away, and you left a stunned Tammy standing on the sidewalk.
-
It was nearly two weeks later. You didn’t know how on earth you got this far without talking to Tammy at all, but you figured you made it clear where you stood. If she never talked to you again, you understood the message, and you were through.
A bit overdramatic, maybe, you wondered? If it was, you weren’t prepared to be the first one to cave. You wouldn’t go begging and crawling back to her. You were too stubborn and proud- even with the constant crying over the past few days.
You were sitting at a bar, drinking a sweet and fruity drink while watching some mindless sports game on the monitor when a familiar blonde slid into the seat next to you.
“Go away,” you said, not looking at Lou. She waved her hand, and the bartender set to work on a drink for her.
“Good evening to you too, sweetheart,” she said.
“What are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same thing. This is my bar after all,” she received her drink and took a big gulp, leaning forward on the bar and looking over at you.
“No it isn’t,” you frowned, trying to piece your memory together. “Your club is dozens of blocks from here.”
“Yeah, and then I bought almost every bar and club on this side of the city. You’re looking at one rich-ass owner, Y/N.” Lou grinned, but you couldn’t be bothered to return the smile.
“Well, congrats Lou. No need to rub it in. Some of us are meant to just be broke.”
“Since when did you become such a downer?”
“Uh, since my girlfriend decided her life was better off without me?” you scoffed.
“Is that really what she said to you?” Lou asked, blue eyes piercing. You shifted in your seat.
“Not exactly, but I know when people are tired of me,” you muttered. “Walking in on the whole team who went through hell together having a party without me kinda sends a clear message.”
Lou chewed her lip, and sighed. She pushed the empty glass away from her and took her time to unwrap a stick of gum.
It was quiet between the two of you as she got up and straightened her jacket, flicking her bleach blonde hair away from her eyes.
“It wasn’t a party, Y/N,” she said. “Talk to Tammy. She’s been absolute shit the past week.”
You bristled, not wanting to think about Tammy again. But Lou left you to it, paying for your drink, and headed out the door. You rubbed your face, tired, and lonely, and cursing yourself for letting it get this far.
Hesitantly, you took out your phone, reading the ‘six new voicemails’ notification, and lingering your finger over the green listening button. All from Tammy.
“Hey, Y/N. Giving me a taste of my own medicine, huh?” A weak laugh. “I’m sorry for not responding or talking more with you.. you have every right to be angry.”
You got up and headed home slowly, going through each voicemail carefully, listening at least twice.
“God I don’t even know where to start. It’s been so... empty without you. Please call me soon? There’s so much I want to tell you.”
Turning multiple corners, you put on your sunglasses, hoping it would hide the tears threatening to spill over.
“I feel terrible. And the girls are mad at me for letting you get away. Not-not like you ran away, but- but not fighting for you, you know? For such a stupid, stupid reason too. I, uh, hm... I miss you.”
I miss you. You stared at your front door, listening as the voicemail ended, frozen. You were mere steps from getting inside, but there was something in the way.
Tammy looked over her shoulder, standing on your doorstep, and you nearly burst into tears all over again. She was startled just like you were, surprised to see you there.
Your arm dropped limply to your side, voicemail forgotten, and you took a shaky breath,
“I miss you too.”
-
You sat across each other awkwardly. You offered her a cup of tea, she politely declined. Tammy was carrying a large tote bag with things inside, and you were intrigued, but didn’t make any effort to start the conversation. You would remain stoic, and not cave. No matter how beautiful she looked, how rosy her cheeks were, how done up her hair was. But there were giant bags under her eyes that you could not ignore, and something pulled at your heartstrings.
“You look well,” Tammy said, smiling weakly.
“No I don't,” you replied. Her face fell. “Neither do you.” Ouch.
“Crazy what only two weeks can do to a person, right?” she chuckled hoarsely.
She continued, “I realize that... that I didn’t handle things very well, with how it ended.. on the sidewalk that night.”
“Hmm.”
Her fingers were shaking, and your resolve nearly crumbled. She reached into the bag and grabbed a massive binder, nearly bursting with the amount of pages. Your name was written in thick letters on the front.
“This is why I wasn’t talking to you,” she muttered, bashfully. “And I realized that keeping this a secret from you isn’t worth the risk of losing you.. like, actually losing you and never getting to have you in my life again.”
Your mouth fell open as you turned to the first page. It was one of those massive wedding planner books that some young girls like to have when dreaming of their future wedding.
Only it was for your birthday. Lists and lists of your favourite music, your favourite foods, restaurants, colours and clothes. Plans for venues, DJs, special outings and reservations. Plans for each member of the team to take care of little things; drinks, dances, meals, performers...
“Oh my god,” you whispered.
“It was going to be your first birthday with the two of us really together. It was supposed to be a surprise... perfect and special. I guess I went a little over the top..” she rubbed her neck with her hand and blushed.
“Tammy... oh my god,” you kept saying, with every new page, and new intricate lists and ideas. “Oh my god.”
“This is incredible,” you breathed, tears falling freely now. “I’m so, so sorry.”
“No no, I should be the one apologizing,” Tammy replied firmly. “I should have told you.”
“But then it wouldn’t have been a surprise! Oh my god, I should have been more trusting in you,” you cried softly. “Tammy, oh, god. Tammy, I love you so much.”
Every detail was spot-on. She knew you inside and out, like no one else ever knew you. No one had ever cared so deeply for you, to think so deeply for you.
Now Tammy was crying too, and you were two blubbering messes, clasping hands across the table and spilling tears on the pages. Thankfully, they were laminated.
“I’ve scrapped it all,” Tammy confessed.
Your head snapped up, “What?”
“Well, when I say scrapped.. I rescheduled it for next year.. I didn’t think that you would want this anymore. Not after what I did.”
“Debbie thought it a good idea to just move it to next year, in case you still wanted it, and.. well, in case you and I are still...” she cleared her throat, face red, not wanting to finish her sentence for fear of jinxing it.
You pushed your chair back and walked over to her, cupping her face and kissing her sweetly. She melted in your touch.
“Of course I’ll still want it,” you said, brushing her mouth with your lips. “I want you.”
“So-, are- are we o-okay?” Tammy’s breath hitched with increasing sobs and you kissed her, again and again.
“Yes, yes, yes,” you laughed, kissing her tears away. “I don’t want anything except you.”
“Good,” Tammy giggled, “because I don’t think I had anymore energy to finish these plans.”
“When did you start making this?”
“Oh, Tammy, my God,” you threw your head back, understanding why she had gotten so distanced now. “You can’t possibly think all of that-” gesturing to the thick book, “would be possible to plan in just a few weeks right? Not with your perfectionist habits, at least.”
“Hey,” Tammy warned, but her eyes were twinkling.
“Plus, I love every single detail you put in there, I swear, but I don’t need anything except you and the people we love on my birthday. Seriously.”
“Good, because that’s exactly what Lou offered after she slapped some sense into me,” Tammy confessed. “A party at her loft or one of her clubs? And then.. cake?”
“Yes!” you clapped your hands. “Our friends, and cake.”
You slid forward to sit in Tammy’s lap and pressed your warm face in her neck, kissing her there and hugging her closely.
“That’s all I need,” you murmured. “That’s how it’s supposed to be.”
Tammy let out another sob, wrapping her arms around you tightly and kissing the side of your head, nuzzling your hair without abandon.
A/N: A bit longer than usual but I wanted to do the lovely request justice :D Miscommunication is such a bitch... especially when it doesn’t work out, but in this fiction land it does!! We love soft!Tammy~

Hey, so I have a question about Manhattan, I hope you don’t mind. I was wondering what would be Maria, Carol and Natasha’s reactions when they found out Lou “cheated” cuz I feel they would be ready to throw fists
Hey. Ok. So I didnt want to go into details of this because I already write so many words, and I think this bit will add another 3k words scene in one chapter. So, to answer your question, if I did write it, it would be like this.
***
"What do you mean you're leaving?" Maria shouted over the phone, immediately halting the little party they have at Tony's place. She extricated herself from Wanda's embrace so abruptly, the other one frown.
"I decided to take the job in London, Mar. Sorry. I have to go, they're calling for my flight. I love you."
The line cut and Maria stared at her phone confused. "She left for London," she whispered after catching Nat and Carol's eyes.
Before the two can question her further, Thor and Loki strode in with a deathly look on their face. Nat, Carol and Maria felt something bad must have happened. Nat gritted her teeth before slamming her glass down the table and walking towards the door.
"Nat, where are you going?" Carol asked.
"I'm going to get to the bottom of this. She's not just gonna leave just like that."
Tony sighed, apart from Maria, he knows you longest too and Nat's right, there's a trigger to your fight and flight reflex. "Okay but you have to calm down."
"Tell me to calm down again, Stark!" Nat yelled.
"We love her too, Nat but we love Lou too," Tony said calmly, even though he's itching to interrogate Lou as well. Nat visibly deflated at that because she knows Tony is right, Lou was their big sister too.
"Debbie said they're at Lou's place," Thor spoke.
***
"You what?"
Every Avenger in the room shouted in unison after Lou told her side of the story.
"I'm so sorry," Lou whispered with her head down.
Nat, Carol and Maria paced the floor. They're angry, oh they want to hold on to their anger longer but Lou looked devastated. Her hair was matted with sweat, her eyes red and puffy, her cheeks tear-stained.
"I didn't want to hurt her but I didn't want to hold her back either," Lou sobbed in her hand. "I'm so sorry."
Tony broke first. He sat on the edge of the center table, and made Lou look up at him. He smiled sadly, making Lou cry even more. She doesn't think she deserves compassion, especially from people who loved you longer.
"You don't owe us an apology. You could have gone about this better but it's done, Lou." Tony wiped the tears in her cheeks and kiss her forehead.
Lou looked up at Nat, Carol and Maria. They know Tony's right, there's no point being angry at Lou like how there's no point crying bc the deed has been done and you're gone. Carol closed her eyes to centre herself, Maria sighed heavily before sending their blonde sister a small smile. Nat on the other hand, frowned deeper and crossed her arms. Tony sighed, of course, Natasha's not going to be easier for everyone.
"Will you make it right one day?" Nat asked between gritted teeth.
"If she'll let me, I will. I promise."
That seemed to appease the redhead enough to undress her arms and sigh. Nat walked to the other side of the room to procure one of Lou's most expensive scotch. "Here, it won't heal you but it'll numb the pain."
