It’s about how Lora/Yori is always the guide, always knows just where to go and what to do and how Alan/Tron happily go along with it. They trust she knows best (they’re also a total sap about her)

It’s the “if I’m not holding your hand right now I’ll explode”. They’re so touchy and my heart can’t take it? Lora/Yori has a tendency to cling to his arm, press herself into his shoulder and it’s absolutely everything.

Also no one talks about how funny the arcade scene is, Lora is just giggling and dragging him along as Alan is going through increasing stages of ‘oh my god what have I got myself into- what is this guy’ — this arcade serves all ages and demographics and somehow he still sticks out! In this case it’s a reverse where Lora is the one to ‘protect’ him and I’m going to loose it.

I wanted to briefly ramble about the zine below so there's that :')

Reading the Always zine felt like the best part of funerals in my opinion- the wake. People sharing their love for the person who passed. Stories being shared. It's beautiful. I managed to not cry while reading it but it was close.

not everyone may have known Cindy Morgan personally, but it's clear to me she was a genuinely wonderful individual, and the lives she touched are will bring their joy to other people's lives as well.

Angstpril Day Fifteen: Lost In My Mind

“Alan?” Roy pops his head into the next cubicle over. “Have you seen—Alan? Hey!”

Alan startles when Roy raps on his desk. His face turns red when he finally looks up.

“Sorry,” he says.

Roy snorts. He starts to ask what had him so distracted in the first place, but then he hears it—Lora and Flynn laughing together from somewhere down the hall. 

He bites back a frown.

Roy knows that Alan likes Lora. He’d planned on asking her out before Flynn beat him to it. ENCOM’s latest happy couple has been together for months now—and Alan is miserable.

“You’ve gotta stop torturing yourself,” Roy says.

“Yeah.” Alan looks at the screen instead of him. “I’m pathetic.”

“You’re not pathetic. You’re human, like the rest of us.”

As if that’s supposed to make him feel better.

“Did you need something?” Alan asks, eager to change the subject. 

“Uh, it can wait,” Roy says, looking at something to his left. Then, before Alan can respond, he escapes back to his own cube. 

Moments later, another face appears in the doorway.

“Good morning, Alan,” Lora greets. She leans against the partition, all casual grace, her hands cradling a coffee mug. 

She does this sometimes—stops by for just a moment before heading back downstairs. Alan smiles. It’s far too easy to smile at her.

“Good morning, Dr. Baines.” 

Her own smile warms as she watches him over the rim of her drink. 

“You can call me Lora, Alan.” 

“Good morning, Lora,” he says softly. She grins again, and then she’s gone. 

Alan waits until he hears her retreating footsteps to thunk his head against the desk. 

He’s in so much trouble.

WHAT I PRESUME THIS IS: The orange tree being the first sign of the Grid bleeding out into the real world, an AI tree just existing on its own in the arctic with no rhyme or reason--When the orange was the first successful breach of organic matter into a digital space via laser by Lora in 1982. It's almost biblical in its ominous approach and I am in love.

First Meetings, or: A Universe in Grains of Sand on AO3!!!

At long last, I have finished the "TRON fic: a sort-of sequel AU thing" from a year and a half ago!!! This is that fic!! It's finished now!!!!! Please read it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thinking about how you can see Flynn’s windbreaker, and how no one cares about this but me.

I don’t know I like the little details of set design like this and how all the spaces feel lived in and you get so much about the character. You can tell Flynn probably went “how cold is it?” And nabbed the jacket off the hook when they left.

You can see the kind of person Alan is with his cubical- he’s got a radio, he’s got Polaroids and posters, plants and a movie quote while simultaneously being organized with his actual work material. He’s a bit of a messy-organized type. There’s a method to the mess,

You can see Lora keeps herself out of her work with how neat her station is, how the second she takes off the hard hat the hard and serious Dr.Baines melts into Lora etc

One of my stupid Tron headCanons is Alan Carys fruit snacks everywhere....

Alan has always been one to always to have snacks around when he's working. He was known as they guy you go to when you want better snacks that weren't in the break room before Flynn took over Encom. He started buying more fruits snacks when he noticed that Sam would gravitate tores them when he would watch Sam when Flynn was in a meeting to boring for a kid during there annual bring your kids to work day or when Sam visits Encom in general. The fruit snacks would then find themselves out side of Encom, when he and Lora would babysit Sam. Which quickly earns Alan first spot as Sams favorite uncle which he happy bragged in Roy's face.

Then when Flynn disappeared in 1989 Alan started to carry fruit snacks with him. Even time when Sam was upset, got trouble, or if he ran away from home ( over all not having a good time) the fruit snacks would the one few things that would calmed him down.

This habit carried over to when Sam got older and it kinda became an inside joke. So when the annual prank on Encom Alan would go up to Sam pull a bag of fruit snacks and say " a fruit snack for you troubles ?" Even though Sam won't say it to Alan's face he appreciate the gesture.

This mostly came out of my fruit snacks addiction. but here are photos I bady Photoshop with out Photoshop of Alan holding fruit snacks.

You know that post about the guy who was playing DnD, and his wife of several years who he has a kid with was in the party, and he got super shy and embarrassed when asking if their two pretend characters could hold hands in the game?

I imagine Alan would have a similar reaction to finding out Tron and Yori are also married, and even more when seeing them get affectionate
