Popped in at Foyles and was greeted by this massive banner. Everyone seems to be reading Intermezzo by Sally Rooney. I wonder if I should pick it up? I remember liking(-ish) Normal People. For coffee, I tried a blend at a cafe I haven't tried before. I tend not to like blends as I prefer the simple complexity of single origin. But hey, I was already trying a new cafe, I might as well go all the way (ooohhh look at me with the rhymes! lol) Now, was it worth it? It was fine. Deducting some points because the coffee bags they were selling weren't as recently roasted as I would like, but it was a pleasant time. Plus, I sat next to a wiener doggo so that was an instant day maker.
