Day One: May 3, 2021 | Back to Seaview Dive Resort, Moalboal
What we did before here.
We went back to the resort to take a shower and prepare for dinner. We were greeted with this view and it looks oh so pretty. After, we just ate our dinner at the resort.
As the sun has set, I wanted to chill out before going to sleep. I took this photo by the pool since there was a high table and chair overlooking the sea. Listening to the waves crashing is very therapeutic.
And as all of you may now, in my older posts, is that I love to stargaze especially when I am out of the city. You can turn on your brightness to see the twinkling stars in the photo above. I played my playlist stillness while stargazing until I started to feel sleepy and hit the bed.
For tomorrow's plans, you may check it out here.

Day One: May 3, 2021 | Basdaku Beach, Moalboal
What we did before over here.
We arrived at the White Beach Resort around quarter to 4pm. When we got there, we swam for awhile along with Cobe. I don't have a photo but I took a video which you can see in my vlog here. We snorkeled for awhile and realized that you couldn't see anything since it was La Nina season and this part of Cebu was known to be wavy. As for the other side, the water would've been calm. We didn't stay long since we weren't really enjoying the ocean. I suggested this place because the last time I was here, the sea was really clear and you can see turtles from a close distance since it was already a cantile (or also known as continental slope).
Here is what we did after.

Day Four: April 20, 2019 | Salagdoong Beach, Siquijor
Good morning! We ate our breakfast at the resort and drove off to Salagdoong Beach. This place is famous for cliff jumping and is one of the famous spots here in Siquijor besides the falls.
When we arrived at the place, it was packed. There were lots of people by the beach and the cliff jumping area. My family wasn’t enjoying, but my mom decided to have our lunch here so she ordered food to eat.
While mom was ordering, me and my dad decided to look around if there were corals and fishes.
We swam for thirty minutes only to find out there weren’t much corals but there were small fishes. So we went back to shore and mom said that if we ordered food here, the serving time would take about an hour since the place was packed.
We couldn’t wait long so we decided to eat our lunch at a small restaurant that was by the street we passed by on the way to Salagdoong Beach. The name of the restaurant was Chef Joe and look at the food! Grilled pork belly, my favorite.
After eating, it was time to head out to the next stop.

Day Three: April 19, 2019 | Dinner at Dagsa, Siquijor
We drove to Dagsa Restobar since this is where we will be having our dinner. Now this is all thanks to my friend who recommended me this place and other good restaurants in Siquijor.
I searched it in Google and they had a good review. Actually, this is one of the famous restaurants in Siquijor. When we arrived, the place was packed.
We waited to be seated because everyone was already hungry and didn’t want to go to find another restaurant. So while waiting, my mom ordered food ahead.
And look what I found. If you know why Siquijor is famous because the place is full of witches. They make love potions and all others to sell to customers and mostly foreigners. They even sell voodoo dolls which is cool and creepy in the same way.
We finally got a table! The reason why the placed was packed because there was a food show going on and the one hosting it was Robi Domingo. I wasn’t able to take a picture of him because it would be rude to a papparazi all of sudden but his table was just behind us. I actually had eye contact with Robi for a few seconds while waiting for our food. Lol
our food has arrived and the cuisine is Filipino food. They had this boodle style of the way to eat and the food was just so good.
I mean we were all hungry so it was even more delicious. We all ate to our tummy’s satisfaction and had little chit chats. Dad decided to order beer, me, my brother, and my sister drank with him to let the sleepiness kick in. It was time to go home and rest for tomorrow is another adventure.
Check out here what we’re going to do tomorrow!

Day Three: April 19, 2019 | Tubod Beach, Siquijor
Good morning Siquijor! For the places we’ll be going today, the first stop is Tubod Beach. I planned this whole trip on places to go and I hope we can do everything I’ve listed for today.
Tubod Beach consists of a marine sanctuary. When we arrived, there was an entrance fee of 20 pesos (if I remember correctly). This fee was used to preserve and maintain the marine sanctuary.
It was time to swim! Me, my dad and the rest of the siblings explored the sanctuary to look around for fishes or creatures that we couldn’t see back home. As usual, my mom didn’t swim but decided to relax to a nearby resort.
We swam for an hour or so until it was lunch time. Some of the photos above and below were taken by my younger brother. He was so fond of the Go Pro for I don’t know what reason.
Talking about the Go Pro, I bought a new one to replace the one that got broken in Coron (if you want to know how it got broken, you can check it out here). I bought the Go Pro Hero 7 Black right before the long weekend and now I’m extra careful with this one. Even though it is water proof, I now use a casing every time I swim with it whether it’d be the pool or the sea so that no water can get in and damage the camera.
The huts you see is where the resort is and where mom is chilling. After eating our lunch, we had an hour to spare for snorkeling again and it was time to head out to the next destination.
Check here were we went to next.

Day Two: April 18, 2019 | Touchdown Siquijor!
We have arrived at Larena, Siquijor which is where the port is and it is 2 pm now. We haven’t had our lunch yet so we ate our late lunch at Portside Cafe just a few minutes away from the port.
After eating, we went looking for the nearest Mhuiller since one of our employees needed money for emergency. It took awhile since it’s the Holy Week today and most of the stores were closed but eventually, we found one.
Now, it is time to go to our resort. We arrive at the resort around 4 pm. The name of the resort that we booked is Blue Wave Inn Resort and once we were able to check in, we settled down. The room that me and my sister got had a pretty view with the infinity pool and the beach.
It was time to roam around the resort and check out what it has in store for us, the guests. I like that they had this small huts were you can chill and sun bathe during the day.
As me my sister and dad were just sitting down by the beach, it was time for the sun to set. Thanks to this long shoreline, the view of the sunset became even more beautiful.
If you really know me through my older posts, you can say I am sucker for sun set and I will never get over each sunset I encounter.
Just as the sun set, the shore decided to rise since high tide is at night time. It was time to go back but I wanted to do an activity, so I swam in the pool around 6:30 pm. I took a quick shower after, just before we had our dinner which is just at the resort.
After eating dinner, me, my sister and brother had our stargazing session. If you zoom in the picture above, you can see the stars. As you also know me, going to the beach, I would always bring my mat with me to stargaze and ever since my mom gave me the mat, I’d only used it for that purpose. Half an hour later, everyone got tired so it was time to sleep.
Check out here what we’ll be doing tomorrow.

Day Five: April 21, 2019 | Last day in Siquijor
Good morning! Today is our last day here in Siquijor since the long weekend is about to end so my family decided to stay at the resort until check out.
As I was chilling by the balcony, I saw my parents swimming. I was shocked because it was rare of mom to swim and of all the bodies of water, she swam at the sea, which is even more rare. I told my siblings and we all joined in.
We just enjoyed our time in the sea and decided to hit it to the pool. All of us were at the pool and we even did swimming contest with the men of the family. It was a great day to end to the our stay at Siquijor with family bonding. It was time to take a shower, eat our lunch at the resort, pack up all our things and say goodbye to the beautiful Siquijor. I hope we can come back soon and go back to the places that we weren’t able to go.
Check here what we did after.

Day One: June 1, 2018 | Coron, Palawan
It doesn’t end from the trip down south with the cousins. It wasn’t only touring around Cebu but around the Philippines as well. I remember I had summer classes on this day and I had an exam on my last class. I was given a minimum time to leave for class earlier and head straight to the airport. It was so clutch.
If you want to see more posts with the Canadian cousins, check it out here.
Fast forward to 1 in the afternoon, we have arrived at Coron!!! This is my second time in Coron and it’s so good to be back. I’ve been wanting to come back here since the last trip was actually faded because I don’t remember so much of the trip.
We checked in at Seadive Resort around 5 in the afternoon and look at this view from their restaurant. It’s so relaxing. We settled down to our respective rooms to leave all the luggage.
We still had all the time before it gets dark so we decided to book ahead for our island tour tomorrow since we arrived late for today. My brother talked to all the boating services finding the cheapest one since some were quite pricey.
So while waiting for my brother since he took awhile to talk around, I took random pictures of the place. The photo above is the resort we’re staying in. It’s just a walking distance to the pier which is a really good thing!
Their famous signage of Coron. You can actually go up there through 500 steps or more. The first time I came here 8 years ago, I remember climbing up all the stairs with my family to get to the top just in time for the sunset. It was such a magnificent view of the island, one I can’t forget.
Back to where we were, after talking with all the boatmen, it was time to eat our dinner. We ate at their food court or karenderias lined up and while eating, this little fella appeared. Such a cutie, and if you didn’t know, I love dogs and look at his eyes!!
After eating dinner and stepping out, the sun began to set and ho behold their sunset. I believe for every place you go, there will never be the same sunset you will see and for that, I will always be in awe.
It was an early dinner we had because we still had things to do but before leaving, we had to go back to the resort and prepare our stuff.
And tada, we are now in Maquinit Hot Spring! One of their attractions if you aren’t going to go to their island tours.
There were lots of people even in the night time but, oh boy, I don’t like hot springs. In fact, hot stuff to be general, If I take a shower, it would always be cold and that goes with my coffee as well. We didn’t stay long because they would close at 8pm. So after taking a dip, we left the place.
Before going back to the resort, we had to stop by to buy essentials for tomorrow’s trip such as water or drinks. Of course, I bough this to keep me relaxed since we’re on a vacation. This ends for day 1, it’s time to hit the sacks since tomorrow will be a long and exciting day.
What we did on the next day, here.

Day Two: June 2, 2018 | First Day of Island Hopping Tour
Today is going to be a long day! We woke up at 5:50 am to get ready for our first day of the island hopping tour.
We went to the pier to unload our things and after my brother bought mostly seafood and pork from the “palengke” which means wet market for our lunch later since the tour package has lunch with it.
It’s now time to go for the island hopping tour! It took us 2 hours to get here since this island was quite far. We passed the open sea to get here.
The name of this island is Black Island. It’s pretty huge since my younger brother was trying to take a drone shot but even though it was a hundred miles away, the whole island still could’t fit.
It was a raining getting here but now it finally stopped.
The thing about this island is that it has a cave. And of course, we went to check it out. Really sad moment because this was the place where my Go Pro got water in it when I dropped it accidentally giving it to our tour guide to take a group photo. I was so sad because we just started the island hopping tour and now this happened.
We ate lunch here since we took awhile at this island. Oh look at that, it was so delicious and Pinoy dining. There’s nothing that can go wrong with having a picnic by the beach shore!
We went to Pass Island but I wasn’t able to take a picture because I was sad about my Go Pro. I couldn't bring my camera with me as well because it was so hot. We arrived around 1 in the afternoon and the sun decided to show up. So all we did Me was legit swam around the island and saw a box jellyfish in real life. Pretty cool and terrifying.
The last stop for today is the Coral Garden. There were baby jellyfishes that you can see on the surface. We asked the boatmen if they bite or sting and they said no. So, we swam to check the coral garden. It was pretty, but again, no picture because of my Go Pro which is making me more sad. Ughh. But anyways, after swimming for around 5 minutes, we felt the some stinging from the jellyfish and it was time to stop.
We didn’t stay long here because all boars were to be back before 5. The time is currently 4 pm and the way back takes around 30 minutes or more. When we arrived at our hotel, it was so timing because it started to rain really hard. I drank hot coffee while waiting for my siblings to finish taking a shower. This ends for day two.
Check here, what we’re doing tomorrow!

Day Four: April 20, 2019 | Dinner at Baha Bar, Siquijor
For tonight’s dinner, I have picked Baha Bar. It’s one of the famous restaurants here in Siquijor along with Dagsa Bar from yesterday’s dinner.
The moon shone so bright tonight. Through the days staying here, the moon shone the brightest tonight. It’s so lovely.
The thing about Siqiujor since it is a small town, there is no traffic and less cars. It took a few minutes to get here though driving at night was quite difficult because there were no streetlights at all but they had really good roads to begin with.
We got inside and saw that there was a live band. I’m assuming that they’re the owners of the place since Dagsa was also owned by a foreigner.
For tonight’s dinner, it is buffet style. The food is Filipino cuisine and there was lechon! And of course, I mostly ate only lechon. Lol. After eating, we listened to the live band and enjoyed our time.
We didn’t stay long since everyone was starting to get tired. When we arrived at the resort, we went directly to our respective rooms and I just noticed this now that there was a boat hanging on the ceiling where we’d eat our breakfast and dinner at the resort. The same gang from last night from stargazing are doing it again now. It’s just that it took us only thirty minutes to stargaze and decided to call it a night.
See here what we’ll be doing tomorrow.

Day Three: April 19, 2019 | Back at the resort
After leaving Tubod Beach (you can check it here), we went to Cambugay Falls and only to find out there were lots of people. We almost forgot that it was Holy Week and people were out in vacation and that one of the famous spots in Siquijor was the falls. From the parking area, you had to go down to a hundred steps before reaching the falls and the line to go down was so long. The stairs was small that if two people would walk past each other, it would be tight to pass through. My family decided to check the place out before deciding to stay.
So, we went down the stairs and just halfway, my mom gave up. She didn’t like that it was crowded and she couldn’t take going down a hundred steps since she gets short of breathe easily. We went back up to the parking to go to a different place.
The next stop we went to was the Paliton Beach. When we arrived, the timing sucked because it was already low tide and so we couldn’t enjoy the beach and decided to go back to the resort instead.
When we arrived at the resort, we felt unsatisfied that we weren’t able to go the places we were supposed to go (mostly me, tbh). So, we all swam in the pool and enjoyed the day we went through.
Everyone swam except for mom (as always), she just watched us swim by the pool with her iPad as her entertainment.
It feels good to get some warmth on the skin, I can finally get dark again. I love that the resort had this infinity pool fronting the beach. As you can see, it is low tide and more people or walking by the shoreline exploring what to see.
As the sun set, it was time to leave the pool and take a shower. The first one to take the shower was my sister, so while waiting for her, I was chilling by the balcony and recognized the huge moon when it wasn’t night time yet.
And oh of course, the gorgeous sunset that always my heart. Watching sun set puts me to peace while hearing some Hawaiian music. After showering, it was
time to head out to eat our dinner.
