I’m rewatching spy x family with my sister, and we’re at the part where loid is reading about how to be a good parent. and I’m reading the manga, I’ve heard all about his backstory and it’s just absolutely heartbreaking to think that everything he read aloud about how to parent is everything his parents didn’t do. they didn’t let him think for himself, they didn’t see things from his perspective, and they didn’t care how their actions affected their relationship with him. It got to the point where he couldn’t even remember his name. but now he has Anya to correct all the things his parents didn’t do, and isn’t that what parenting is about?? anywayssss signing off ✌️
