You guys don't understand how much I love Annie Cartwright. Yes, samgene is everything, but her relationship with Sam is just so sweetly done.

She's a BA in psychology, she's a policewoman in the freaking 70s UK and hands down the most competent person in greater Manchester region, she's smart, she's kind, she makes as much agency for herself as she can while being aware of structural problems of her time, and when she meets a bisexual man who claims he's from the future and in a coma she goes "how can I not fuck that". Icon.

guys i am so excited

this is one of my favourite shows of all time; i haven’t been able to watch it for years (yay america!) but now i’ve finally got my hands on a box set and i can rewatch!

while being multinational is wonderful, it is an unpleasant shock when regional things suddenly disappear. these are used so i’m kinda concerned about scratches but i’m currently on the first episode and it seems fine so far, and i didn’t see anything when visually inspecting the discs, so fingers crossed! i’ve forgotten a lot of little details so i might liveblog as i watch and am reminded lol
