Every day I’m reminded Captain Jean-Luc Picard has a lionfish named Livingston in his Ready Room and every day I get more confused on tbe logistics.

Why is he there? Who approved this? Do all Captains get a complimentary fish? Does he come with the ship or did Picard ask for it? I have so many questions and not enough time.

I’m putting together a playlist of albums that get my brain thinking about my characters and creating new scenes and subplots using the lyrics (i’m not internally creative so i have to outsource that shit)

so far I have:

I thought about adding Lungs - FATM and Atlas: Space - SAL, but I’m bad at understanding metaphors so they just weren’t working for me
