Modern Rdr2 hcs:
-Abigail dresses like it's the 2000s (I'm talking miniskirts, low rise jeans, heeled flip flops w the fucking sparkles). She will never change too.
-Charles and Arthur go on dates to those adoption events to pet all the dogs and cats
-the whole gang frequently gathers for family bbqs. Every time someone ends up getting punched, passing out, or storming off
-Abigail puts Jack on one of those backpack leashes for kids (John too if we're being honest)
-Tilly, Karen, and Marybeth do full goodwill, garage sale, and vintage market days. They do not mess around either
-the only thing hosea knows how to do on his phone is play chess
-Sean still can't read in modern time
-john plays guitar and writes really horrible love songs for Abigail
-Javier and john r for sure in a band together, they're pretty good when they sing the songs Javier wrote
-Lenny and Sean co-parent an extremely neglected widgetable
-Arthur listens to facebook reels on full volume in public w no shame. Isaac is mortified every time
-john has various tattoos, half of them are god awful. He definitely got Abigail's name or initials tattooed somewhere and she was livid
-Karen gives herself piercings with a really shitty piercing gun
-arthur and John work together in construction, an auto shop, or in the equestrian field.
-Dutch has a very rigid and lengthy skincare routine
-john uses 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner, but he says it's 3 in 1 bc it also counts as bodywash
-Tilly is the only one of her family to graduate college (Arthur dropped out of hs when Eliza got pregnant and john never went)
-Hosea is one of those old people you just see walking around the neighborhood at like 8am
-john and Arthur don't wear sunscreen or put on lotion. Abigail sometimes manages to force some sunscreen on John's face before he goes to work tho
-bill refuses to go to gay bars but uses Grindr
-Abigail cuts John and Jack's hair bc she refuses to pay for something she thinks she can do herself (she cannot do it herself)
-Kieran is a hair braiding god. I'm talking French braids, fish tails, you name it.
-john owns a really shitty pick up truck. Jack was either conceived or birthed in the backseat of it (maybe both)
-Sean falls for those free iPhone scams every time
-the only videogame charles plays is stardew valley. He thought it would be relaxing, it wasn't.
-Tilly and Mary Beth are in a book club together
-Abigail is the type of parent to not let her kid play w nerf guns or watch pg13 movies (John is the exact opposite)
-Sadie spends her weekends at rage rooms
-everyone's fridges are covered in drawings Jack made for them
-John, Javier, and Sean game together. Violence always ensues
-dutch does not tip waiters
-john tried to play catch w Jack once and ended up getting hit in the groin by a baseball. He didn't know 4 yr olds could throw that hard
-Abigail and Karen (& sometimes Charles) drink cheap wine together every Sunday and discuss the dumb things their boyfriends did that week
-Lenny and Hosea do the wordle everyday
-Jack is in little league soccer. John sits back drinking a beer as Abigail shouts at the referee
-Abigail got a tramp stamp of a little bow when she was 17 (she regrets it)
-Hosea exclusively sends emails
-Abigail hides John's weed socks bc she doesn't want Jack to see and "fall into a life of drugs" when he's older
-Arthur is a hiking dad through and through. While John is a sit on the couch drinking a beer w his kid in his lap kinda dad
-uncle is the old drunk that lived in the same trailer park as Abigail and John did when Jack was a baby. He kinda just stuck around after
-Miss Molly O'Shea would be a makeup god and u cannot convince me otherwise
I might do a pt 2 late in the future!

do you have any HCs about how Arthur reacted to John being distant to Abigail when Jack was born? /how Arthur reacted when John showed up after a year
Oh definitely, my HC is similar to Roger Clark (the actor for Arthur). I think Arthur resented John for being distant and leaving her and his baby for a year. I imagine a couple years before Jack was born that's when he lost Isaac and that tragedy never left him and deeply effected him. He hated John for running away and taking things for granted from the very thing Arthur always sought and wanted. So when John returns, Arthur is just livid and their relationship is broken.
Arthur seemed like a character who wanted to be loved and belong in a family. He tried that with Mary, but I felt like Mary toyed with his feelings in the most wishy washy way (I get it. Like what future would you have with an outlaw). Obviously Eliza was a rebound from him breaking up with Mary. And that one night stand led to the conception of Isaac. He still chose to stay with Dutch's gang cause that was his family and he wasn't gonna stay with a girl he barely knew and didn't love. He probably tried to bring her along but she most likely didn't want to. I have this headcanon that their relationship was getting better and had potential to work. Arthur would have wanted to stay with them more often as his son got older with each visit. I would say maybe his son was like 4-5 years old the last time he saw him (since it's hinted in the game he taught a little boy fishing during the Jack fishing mission). However, this is when Dutch would manipulate Arthur severely.
He likely pressured Arthur to choose his loyalty to him and the gang over Arthur's son and Eliza. Think about it. When Hosea left to make a life with Bessie, Dutch got really messed up about it. Which explains his disgruntlement with John's loyalty and Abigail. For a bit he lost his family unit and control. He wasn't going to lose Arthur through the same thing. So he starts tightening that leash around Arthur through his low self-esteem and self-worth. He didn't want to lose his best dog. Definitely a red flag, that a lot of the gang members felt obligated that they owed Dutch just because he saved their asses (weird savior complex going on there 😬🙄).
As for why, he didn't seem all that bothered that John left. Maybe he kind of learned from his mistake with Arthur. Under his manipulation, Arthur completely broke when Isaac died (I feel like Arthur never fully recovered from that and Dutch noticed that he wasn't the "same" anymore). So not wanting to break his 2nd Golden Boy he loosened the leash. I'm pretty sure Dutch cared deeply about Arthur and John, and he isn't this evil selfish guy the way I'm describing him. That would be later in RDR1 😆, Dutch is complete bonkers in 1911. He is just incredibly flawed and super weird and a messed up way of showing he cares in 1899 prior.
Anyways I want to draw a storyline focused on the year John left and returned in the Golden Hour. Since the Golden Hour comics are basically about the close bond and eventual collapse of the gang. It would be fun to explore that part of the era of the gang. But once my wrist stops hurting and I have more time. All I can do is talk about it instead of drawing it.

Ghost bride besties
What if Instead of Sebek getting slapped, he and Eliza(the ghost bride) hit it off and start just full on GOSSIPING with eachother and acting like bestfriends and everyone is just left standing there wondering how tf they managed to hit it off and also are like “HELLO??? WE’RE STILL HERE FROZEN???”
Thenn it starts getting later and later so now everyone is getting increasingly tired so they’re all just glaring at Eliza and Sebek and trying to get Sebek to HURRY TF UP and this is when the first years start to get a bit miffed like “hELLo Sebek is OUR friend???” And Lilia and silver aren’t having it much either so everyone is just having a bad day while Eliza and Sebek continue having their talk :3
Eventually Malleus is wondering where the others are because they should’ve been done by now and then he goes to check and everyone is telling him to convince Sebek to put the ring on her so they can all unfreeze and go back to the dorms. Malleus tries to convince Sebek but is absolutely shocked and everyone is also shocked when Sebek refuses and continues talking to Eliza. AND ELIZA IS SO SMUG ABOUT IT TOO she’s giggling and smirking their way and the first years and Dia 3 are absolutely livid that their friend/brother figure is getting stolen away!!!

trafalgar law x original female character eliza x law, absolute filthy, possessive!law, kid being a dick (as usual) me walking in like an absolute gremlin carrying smut. yes yes come see, my fellow ellaw appreciators, i bring the gift of the nasty. @kikouku @sunfloworcs @eelnoise @shiningqueen @crimson-hybrid pss pss pss
MINORS, BE GONE. 🔫
He was furious, positively livid about this current situation. Law didn't often think of himself as a man to easily fall prey to pesky feelings such as jealousy, he trusted and had enough confidence in his partner to not be bothered by mindless emotions. But one summer day was enough to throw his mind into a loop.
As if this alliance wasn't bothersome enough, apparently Kid had somehow picked up on his relationship - perhaps noticing how he tended to follow her with his gaze whenever she was around such strange territory, like an instinct of protectiveness over a loved one. Most of the Straw Hats seemed to have picked up on it too, as their knowing smiles told him everything, but even then, it changed nothing on the behavior of the Kid Pirate’s Captain and the damn Cook - as Zoro-ya would say. If anything, it only made them more annoying (Eustass) and competitive (Blackleg) for her attention.
The last straw to this ongoing problem came in the form of a very warm day, the ocean breeze doing nothing to help the pirates from feeling the heat wave, forcing those who couldn’t as easily go for a swim to change into something more comfortable - and minimal.
Eliza wasn’t one for revealing attires, but the weather forced her in favoring a black tank top and shorts, a wet hand towel fixed in her shoulder to help cope with the temperature and clean the constant sweat rolling down her face.
The last thing she wished was to leave the infirmary of the Polar Tang, probably the only place refrigerated in the whole submarine - as many medicaments stored should’ve been kept in regulated temperature, to not be altered in any way. A fact that she and Bepo used to their advantage, spending most the day cooped inside that room, always suffering by the time they had to leave for their respective rooms or to go on an errand for their captain.
And it was one of those insufferable moments that had her leaving the ship in search of her partner and crew’s leader. She needed his approval for a new research, and he just had to be outside in a meeting with his new ‘friends’, forcing her to walk through scalding sun to reach the Thousands Sunny (what a fitting name too).
By the time she reached him, she was a deep shade of red, sweating from every pore and positively livid. She didn’t even bother to greet anyone in her path, just moving towards her captain's side and poking him with the clipboard to catch his attention.
But what truly had caught the attention of not only him, but most men sitting around, was how pretty she looked with her chest heaving, face and neck flushed, sweat dripping through her protuberant cleavage in that (now wet) tank top, and oh, how that shorts hugged her thighs and ‘assets’. He could feel himself growing hot under the collar, immediately sensing how many pairs of gazes were doing the exact same, pissing him off to no end. “What?” Law glared at his second doctor on board (and lover), not only bothered by the interruption, but by the situation at hand.
Not surprised with how she didn’t mind the bite on his speech, already used to his temperament as she was. She just rolled her eyes in disapproval, not really in the mood to deal with whatever was going through his mind at the moment; he just needed to sign the damn paper and she’d be gone, won’t be a bother anymore. “Just take a look and sign it if it’s to your agreement, captain.” She could hear the snickers from the other pirates, but chose to ignore, just as much used to the typical childish behavior of the group.
In truth, the doctor hadn’t paid attention about the tension going on around the meeting, imagining it was already at hand when she walked in, but she did noticed, at the moment she was going to hand the pen and clipping board to her captain and boyfriend, how the pen was magnetically pulled away from her hand, causing a frustrated groan to escape her lips. Both Heart Pirates glared at Kid, already knowing it was his doing - as he didn’t even bother to hide it, fingers still in the air and shit-eat grin consuming his semblance from his little prank.
Any other time, she’d have given him a piece of her mind - perhaps even called him a manchild clown, as she usually liked to refer to him. But with the sun burning her skin and no patience to stay even another second with those rowdy creatures, she chose instead to click her tongue at his childish antics and move to grab the pen from the floor. And that was exactly what the ginger man expected of her.
From somewhere near the kitchen, a loud moan like whimper erupted from the Straw Hat’s chef form, nose bleeding in a fountain of crimson red fluid. Eustass Kid with all the audacity contained in one chaotic man, had pulled his chair enough to thoroughly run his gaze at the heart pirate girl’s chubby thighs and cheeks peeking through her shorts, a knowing smirk directed at her lover (like a menace that he was). “Well, ain’t that a nice view.” Even Killer was heard clearing his throat from behind his mask, not able to hide how his neck flushed in different shades of red. From the people attending the meeting, only Zoro and Luffy seemed displeased and confused (respectively) about what was happening.
And if Law was clearly infuriated before, there was no doubt about it now. Eliza didn’t really had the time to chastise the other captain for the nonsense, before her partner was up from his chair, pushing it back with such force that everyone around the area of the reunion had stopped to stare at the situation in a diversity of expressions - confused, amused, surprised.
But there was no time to question his actions, before she was dragged away from the Straw Hat’s ship, absolutely bewildered by his actions. Even from afar, they could still hear how Kid hollered in laughter, absolutely victorious in being a little shit
Papers and meeting forgotten, he pulled her back to their own ship, barely contained rage clear in the set of his shoulders, in the tension around his clenched jaw and how firm he held her wrist. How he wished in that moment that he wasn’t in an alliance with those men, how good would it feel to take their eyes out of their sockets and pop it out in the sea, never again would they bother to desire something that wasn’t theirs.
He ignored the confused glances from their crewmates, not stopping his furious pace till they reached his office, letting go of her then to close the door behind. Both of his hands coming up to bang against it in a release of pent up anger energy, slow inhale and exhale leaving his body as he still had his back turned to his partner, frustration clear in his posture.
And she could only stare, utterly stupefied. She couldn’t remember a situation where he acted so impulsively before, couldn’t understand how a simple prank from Eustass could’ve infuriated her partner so much, as she had no idea of the ginger man’s true intention in using her shapely forms to pick a fight with her boyfriend for the sake of it. And how close he was to actually give in to the temptation of mayhem Eustass Kid and fuck up his entire plans with their alliance in a moment of fury and possessiveness.
Before she could even ask why he acted in such a way, he was moving again. Both hands grabbing her face, intense look on his semblance, forcing her to look back at his blazing amber iris. “Do you not understand how fucking provoking you are right now?” To her confused look, he continued. “Those fu-” A furious exhale. “They were all fucking you with their eyes!”
She waited for him to finish exploding before rolling her eyes affectionately. For such a smart man, he was so very easy to aggravate “They are bloody morons, Law. They are toying with you, don’t let them.” Hands coming up to grab at his slender ones, she took her time kissing each of his palms, caressing his knuckles between her fingers in a soothing manner, before speaking again. “And you know you are the only one that can have me, anyway. I’m Yours.”
Clicking his tongue in false mockery, he allowed her to soothe him. Entire body relaxing under her ministrations, gaze softening at her mellow eyes. He knew she was right, but it didn’t help the sense of indignation to consume his brain - it had only calmed his heart enough to push those thoughts bothering him to the back of his mind, and focus on what was important; remind himself that yes, she was only his.
They could only wish to graze their lips along her jaw and neck like he currently was, leaving goosebumps in its wake. They could only imagine how it would be to taste the saltiness of her skin, to nip and suck at it, marking the column of her neck, eliciting such a delectable gasp from her mouth. How good it felt to run his tongue along her pulse, feel her heart beating so fast and rhythmically under it, having her so obedient and docile, whimpering quietly in pleasure as she allowed his possessive acts to continue. Mine. All mine.
He took his time in marking her, kissing his way back to her face only when he was satisfied with his work. A soft whisper of his name was her answer, as he thumbed her lower lip and deciding it should be mark it as his just the same, nipping and tonguing it, before giving in to the feeling of molding their lips together, sparks of pleasure running through their body from the simple act. Addicted to her taste.
She melted in his arms as he explored her beyond the barriers of her clothing, tattooed hands grabbing at her soft hips and sides, reaching up her spine till he could feel the hooks from her bra, expert fingers unhooking it to free her heavy breasts of their confines, making the shy woman pull back and look at him in a inquisitive manner. “La- Ah, Law. It’s too early, people will hear us.”
He only smirked down at her, reaching for his own shirt and pulling it over his head in a little show of sexy appeal - flushing her skin further, before giving her an answer. “Don’t worry, they won’t hear us. The office is sound proof, why do you think I brought you here?” ‘Oh’ is all she could answer, before he stalked after her with a predatory glimmer in his golden eyes. He had already planned his actions from the moment he got up from his chair in fury, and he would see his plans executed by possessing and marking her - making sure no one forgets who she belonged to.
And she didn’t seem to mind, licking her lips in nervousness but anticipation. No matter how many years they spent together, she never got used to how handsome her boyfriend was, all lean and ripped muscles, tattoos and tanned skin shining with sweat, enough to make one want to lick it clean for him. She could already feel heat pooling between her legs, mind fogging with need - and he had barely touched her beyond blemishing her neck and shoulders, just now reaching to finish taking her upper garments from her body, observing all skin being slowly bared to him like a starved man uncovering his favorite meal, grinning wildly at her shy reactions.
In her daze, she didn't realize they were moving, till the moment her legs hit the back of his office desk. Neither she had the time to react to it, as the moment her shirt came off, he had both his hands squeezing her voluptuous chest together, thumbs rolling her sensitive nipples, sending bolts of pleasure through her body direct into her core, making the woman clutch into the desk for support, eyes closing to focus on the sensation.
A shocked cry as she felt the wet muscle of his tongue circling one nipple, followed by the suction of his lips around it, humming around it before he gave the same treatment to the other, nipping the nub and biting the meat of her breast, just enough to have her jump in surprise and bring her attention back to him, eyes half lidded and pupil blown wide.
God, she was gorgeous, he mused. It was no surprise that others would pay attention to her curves, but never would any of them have the view of her all flushed and excited like this.
Taking the last offending piece of clothing from her body, he appreciated how damp she felt as he fingered over her undergarments. “So fucking wet… All for me, hm?” Her whimpers didn’t stop his teasing, only grazing his fingers over the thin material of her panties, making her bite back a moan and close her eyes in bashfulness, all contradictory to her actions of thrusting towards his fingers for a real friction. “Tsk. If you want it, you have to ask, ‘Liz.” Holding her ample hip with his free hand, he stopped her movements. It seemed he had decided to be a bastard about this, and she could feel the smirk on his lips as he came closer to speak by her ear. “Be a good girl and say it.”
She could only bite her lips in answer, face flushed from lust and embarrassment. And she knew he was absolutely getting off on it, eyes taking in from the way her legs closed together in sudden modesty to her bright eyes glistened with absolute need, fighting a battle against her own shy nature. But it was the way his index and middle finger slipped inside her panties and teased her inner lips that had her moaning an answer. “Mhm. I- Please. Please, Law.”
“Please what?” What an infuriating man!
“Please. Please, touch m- Ah!” He didn’t waited for her to finish before easily sliding his fingers inside her folds, taking advantage of how wet she was and chuckling at her surprised gasp. He could tease all he wanted, but he was just as much aroused by her actions. Intensely staring at the way her body curved to accommodate more of the length of his tattooed fingers, by the way her full breast bounced as her hips rolled against his large hand, dripping all over it. How pretty she was, letting go of her reservations to moan so unabashedly as his thumb joined the friction, rubbing expertly against her clit as his finger curled and thrusted inside. It was truly a spectacle for his eyes only.
Joining the stimuli, his free hand grazed her perky nipples once again, pinching and pulling. He could feel how close she was to climax - velvety walls spasming and contracting around his curled fingers, mouth hanging open with pleasure. And to push her further into sweet release, another finger joined - E, A and T pushing deep inside her core, ripping a half scream half moan from his lover as she rode his palm. It didn’t last much longer after that, rapid movements and diversity of stimulation leading the woman to a powerful orgasm, holding tight at the desk behind her for support as her toes curled under her, legs shaking as she screamed his name over and over again..
He let her breathe for a moment after that, stepping back to appreciate the wreckage he caused. Absolutely proud of how she looked, a deep flush from her cheeks down to her heaving chest, sweat and arousement dripping down her body - pooling down her legs. Her semblance of thorough contentment as she stared back. Gorgeous. Divine. All his.
A moment was all he allowed her, before stalking back towards his ‘prey’. He wasn’t nearly done with her, consumed by lust and sheer possessiveness, he needed to leave this office without a doubt of who she belonged to, mind filled with nothing but him and the pleasure he provided. “Look at the mess you made…” Smug grin filled the pirate’s semblance as he approached her lips with his juice’s coated hand; a display of erotic glistening tattoos. “Why don’t you lick it clean, hm?”
Already too far into it to feel timid, and perhaps a tad defiant of his domineering act, she gazed back into his amber eyes before grabbing his wrist with assertiveness. “Fine.” And he had only a second to inquisitively arch one eyebrow, before she did just as the tattoo on his fingers were telling her: e-a-t.
Looking right back at him, as she licked her way from the soft pad of his palm to his middle finger, humming as he pushed all three slender fingers inside her mouth, licking each individually as it was the most delicious meal, mix of her own juices and drool running down her lips and sliding down her plump chest.
“Fuck.” If he was turned on before, now he could swear to be losing his damn mind. Not bothering to completely take his bottom garment completely out if body, just using a free hand to unzip and pop his jeans open, shoving it down enough to reveal his lengthy cock, up for attention and already glistening with so much pre-cum. Neither had him the mind to worry about protection, as he knew today would be a day to fill his girl to the brim, primal need to mark her insides as much as he did with her body.
Anticipating his line of action, she could already feel herself opening her legs to accommodate his figure, biting her lips and whining shamefully as he took his fingers from her mouth to clean the desk behind her. He would be busy cleaning later, but he had half the mind to care as he shoved away everything he had around his desk, making room to lay her body for him, grabbing her hips and maneuvering her into pressing her chest against the wood surface, tantalizing ass up in the air for him.
He had no mercy for its paleness, as his hand firmly spanked each of her cheeks till it became feverish red, soothing it with both hands, running his length against its folds and watching with satisfaction as his lover moaned and whimpered for him. “Shhh… Need to mark it well, ‘Liz. So no shithead can think they can have it.”
Making sure to take a firm hold of both chubby cheeks - enough to leave a handprint, he easily slipped his shaft inside her soaked cunt, smirking at the satisfied moan leaving his girl’s mouth as he filled her. “Yeah…? Wanted this cock that bad? It’s yours, baby. Take it.”
From being close or from feeling aggressively excited, Law didn’t bother easing his way into intercourse, immediately setting a brutal pace that filled the room with the sounds of skin meeting skin, the gushing wetness of his length bullying it’s way inside her dripping pussy and the heavy office table scratching against the floor with his vicious thrusts. Her moans and pleas surfaced around it, mind fogged with so much lust as he continually plunged his long shaft against her sweet spot.
Harsh rhythm of his hips and her screams taking over, till he could feel the hot need for release on his lower stomach. He stopped then, earning a frustrated and questioning glare from his partner. But it didn’t last long, as she felt herself being manhandled into turning around to face him - marveling with how gorgeous he looked, sweat dripping along defined muscles, an intense expression with blown wide pupils. He looked as much wrecked as she felt. He pushed her back towards the table, grabbing both her legs against his chest, ankles locked around his shoulder as he slipped himself back inside her lower lips.
It was so much better this way, all his length now pushed inside, balls deep inside her pussy, and knowing she could watch who fucked her into oblivion. He resumed his hammering pace, grinning watching as she rolled her eyes back into her head, mind completely gone into pleasure and overstimulation. Knowing he was the one to do this, the only one. She could already feel herself closer to orgasm yet again, his name falling from her lips between incoherent pleas and moans. “Law, LaaAA- F-Fuck. Ple- Law, please please please-.”
“That’s fucking right. Say my name, baby. My girl, my pussy, fucking mine.” He growled as he didn’t stop his fast pace even after her orgasm crashed into her, a loud moan of his name and walls clenching around his cock, entire body shaking and grabbing for any part of him she could find. If only, his hands held more firmly against her thighs to keep her in place before he could feel himself reaching his own climax - incoherent string of ‘take it’ with one final and long thrust inside her folds before he made sure to fill it to the brim with his cum, fucking it back inside a few times to make sure not a single drop escaped.
Eliza was sure to be seeing stars, as he finally released her legs - crashing limp against the desk. Breathe coming in long drawls, as she tried to come back from such a high. Who could have thought that Kid’s stupid prank would cause such a strong chain of reactions? Not that she was complaining, arms already open as she realized her boyfriend was reaching to hug her body against his. She nuzzled his sideburns as he kissed her shoulders, quiet affection after such a rough session of love making.
Both breathed together for a moment, relaxing into each other's embrace, before she felt herself being carried into his arms for a few feet so they could both crash and cuddle in his soft office’s sofa, a common spot for moments like this. It was quiet for a moment, only heartbeats and breathing sounds between soft caresses and lazy kisses. Law was the first one to break silence, after a while. “I hope I didn’t hurt you.”
“No, don’t worry,” Kissing his scruffy chin in reassurance, she continued with a smirk, “My bum might be burning a bit, but it was very worth it.”
Snorting a laugh, he reached both hands to caress her ample backside, in a false soothing move - as he immediately squeezed both cheeks in his hands. “It’s your fault for being so appetizing.” He smirked back, playfully biting onto her neck, earning a squeal from his lover and smack on his arm.
It was clear that there’s one thing no one but him could ever have, besides her body; the absolute love and adoration shared between them. Life partners bundled together without knowing where one starts and the other finishes, playfully bantering and kissing till fatigue was able to take over their minds, to a land of dreams where they would be meeting once again.

Hear me out.
Lachlan and Eliza are first generation immigrants from
Scotland
They would have most likely spoken Scottish gaelic.
Lionel would have grown up learning it and…
HAS A SCOTTISH ACCENT!
But he hates his parents so much, he hated his childhood so much that he forces himself to adopt a Kansas accent or as close to one as possible. Probably even took speech lessons to dull it as much as possible.
But!
When he’s really fucking pissed. I mean really fucking pissed he wants to murder you himself because you were so fucking stupid pissed.
HIS SCOTTISH BROGUE COMES OUT FULL STOP!
Imagine Martha witnessing his temper against some idiot and she does not recognize his voice at all or understand the curses in gaelic he’s throwing because he’s so livid.
Lex tells her he’s only seen that happen once in his life,—and thankfully he was not on the receiving end of it—and tells her it had completely taken him by surprise too.

My Masterlist
Previous Part | Series Masterlist | Next Part
Georgia Marie Seresin, known to her friends and most of her family as Georgie, has always counted herself as one of the luckiest women in the world. She’s never once regretted the path her life has taken. Not once, not ever. After all, what was there to regret when you’re married to a man you’ve loved for most of your life and have five gorgeous children? Sure they’ve all chosen to do different things and maybe veer from the path their parents took, but that’s normal right? After all, Georgie herself is a Navy-man-turned-pastor’s daughter, but she’s decidedly not a pastor’s wife. So it had never even occurred to her to wonder why Henry was so controlling over their children's choices. It was easy to excuse his bad behavior as disguised concern, concern he couldn't or wouldn't show otherwise.
But thirty-seven years of marriage later, and she’s finally starting to question a little bit about the man she’s hitched her wagon to. The first straw was when Jake joined the Navy instead of going to law school like Henry had always planned. That cold anger? It’s something Georgie’s never felt from her warm, usually jovial husband. Henry had cut Jake down like he wasn’t worth his love or affection. The place Henry had relegated Jake to? That’s where he'd stayed ever since he went to the Naval Academy, a tall, gangly boy, barely eighteen. Georgie has never understood why Henry hated Jake so much for going after his dreams.
The second straw? That had been when Eliza came home from New York over Easter her final year of college and introduced the family to Bethie. Not as her friend or roommate, but as her fiancée and the love of her life. Georgie can still remember the joy she’d felt in seeing her baby girl that happy. As a mother, it was one of the best moments of her life. But Henry, he’d shut down. He spent the entire week ignoring Eliza and Bethie. But it hadn’t been for long.
Over Easter dinner, Henry had said things that Georgie could never condone, about the child she bore under her own heart and raised with more love than she knew was possible to come from her heart. Georgie can count the number of times she’s been livid with Henry on one hand. This time, her anger comes out in a knock-down-drag-out. It’s a fight of the kind she’s never had with her husband. After that, she and Henry come to the uneasy truce that he can ignore Eliza and Bethie if he so chooses, but he can never say words like the ones he believes ever again. Not if he wants to keep up the appearances that he has a happy married life any longer.
That shaky miserable truce holds for several long years. Then Georgie gets a call from an unknown San Diego number. It's a female voice, shaky and quiet. She introduces herself, explains that Jake calls her Gorgeous Girl, and that she wished it were under better circumstances that she was calling.
"Mrs. Seresin, it's Jake." She'd sobbed, sounding so young and distraught on the phone. "He's in the hospital. He's hurt really badly, a-and, I'm his emergency contact, but it didn’t feel right keeping that he was injured from you."
The pain in this young girl's voice reminds Georgie of how she'd feared that something bad would happen to Henry when she'd first fallen in love. The difference is in how Jake's girl had experienced the pain and the fear. This unknown girl’s concern for her son had been enough to set Georgie into motion.
"Henry, something terrible has happened." Her husband had barely raised his head from the papers arrayed on the desk in front of him. "It's Jake. He's injured, quite badly, and in the hospital. I'm flying out as soon as I can."
"That's fine. Take one of the boys with you. Not Henry, I need him for some meetings on the ranch. Take Will, instead." He hadn't asked, even once how Jake was, if he'd be okay. In truth, Georgie had taken his tacit permission at face value and called Will and Henry. Her sons’ concern was enough to hold her together until she could get to her Jake.
As it turns out, Georgie was right to worry. Both Jake’s Sweetheart, and Jake himself look worse for the wear when she marches into the hospital room they’ve put her baby boy in. At first sight, Georgie’s heart goes out to Jake’s girlfriend. The poor girl looks exhausted. She’s swaying on her feet, her lips bitten and chapped, and her eyes red-rimmed as she clutches to Jake’s limp hand like he’s her lifeline. And Jake. Her Jake. He’s silent and still, his face pale and chest moving only due to the ventilator he’s strapped to. Her hurricane boy, born in the middle of an unseasonably early storm, has never been so still.
Jake’s girl is far too easy for Georgie to adopt. She’s so completely concerned about Jake that it’s barely any time at all before Georgie’s herding her home and making sure she’s sleeping and eating. Georgie and Will end up staying in her beautiful home and honestly Georgie’s not sure how this sweet little thing has kept it together so well. Her strength shines with every word, even if Georgie can faintly hear crying from behind closed doors every night.
When Jake wakes up, Georgie finally sees how happy her son is. Just the sight of his girl walking through the door has the biggest grin curling on his face. Jake’s still pale and wan, but looking at how he is with his girl, and you’d never know how badly Jake had been hurt. Georgie decides then and there that this girl is good for her son. Jake’s always run far away from any of the stability that Georgie has always wanted for him. Until he mentioned his Gorgeous Girl. By the time Georgie heads home, she’s so ecstatic about Jake’s fortunes in love that she’s content to ignore everything her husband has to say about Jake.
Then Jake brings her home for Christmas. It’s good to finally have all the kids under one roof, much like all of the Christmases the Seresin’s have shared since Henry Jr was born. Henry’s cold from the moment he sees Jake standing in the kitchen. Even seeing his son happy isn’t enough. They make it through Christmas Eve before everything seems to get indescribably tense.
The kids are giggling and laughing as they open presents before bed on Christmas Eve. Jake’s smiling with Jordan on his lap while his girl’s cuddling James. She’s even won over the pickiest Seresin kids in the house. Then Jake drops to his knee in front of her.
“J-Jay? What are you doing?” Jake’s sweetheart’s voice is tremulous, like she can’t believe what she’s seeing.
“I know we usually open a gift on Christmas Eve, but what I’m asking you might just be the best gift I’ve ever received in my life. My gorgeous girl, you’ve stuck with me through thick and thin. Since the day we met, you’ve had me wrapped around your fingers. I love you so much. Would you do me the honor of making me the happiest man in the world and marry me?”
Hearing the love in Jake’s voice has Georgie misting up a little too. Jake’s sweetheart is crying, tears dripping steadily down her cheeks as she nods and kisses Jake like he’s the most important thing in her life. Georgie’s startled out of her joy when Henry rises from the loveseat where he’s sitting next to her and marches angrily to his study. Jake and his fiancée don’t seem to mind. When the kids all head up to bed, Georgie goes in search of her husband.
“Henry?” Her voice is soft as she shoulder’s open the heavy door, a couple of mugs of spiked hot chocolate in her hands.
“I brought some hot chocolate, just how you like it.” Henry just glowers down at the papers he’s rifling through.
“How can you be happy about this, Georgia?” He sounds bemused.
“How can you be anything less than happy right now, Henry? Our son’s getting married to a girl who loves him just as much as he loves her!” Georgie perches on the arm of the big desk chair, handing her husband a mug while enjoying the warmth of his arm curling around her waist.
“He doesn’t realize how wrong she is for him, Georgie. Our son. We raised him with lofty goals in mind. Where did we go wrong?” Georgie cards her hands through the salt-and-pepper dotting the love of her life’s hair.
“What makes you think we went wrong, Henry? Our sons and daughters are happy and healthy. They’re well-educated, successful, and they’re finding love with the people they love and who love them.”
The grumbling growl that pours out of her husband’s mouth takes Georgie by surprise. “Henry and Will are the only ones of our kids who’ve made good matches. We can get on a stage with Henry and Melissa and Will and Hannah. This girl Jake’s brought home? She’d just embarrass us wherever she went. Can’t you see how Jake is with her? She’s making him do things like he never would have before. Playing around in the hay behind the barn like a pair of kids?”
“They’re so young, Henry.” Georgie’s voice is gentle. “They’re allowed to have some fun. Hell, Will, Henry and their wives were playing in the hay too.”
But Georgie doesn’t get an answer from her husband. Or at least, not one she particularly likes. Christmas Day dawns cold and clear but filled with laughter.
Henry’s persistent in his avoidance of Jake, Eliza and their fiancées. Will, Henry Jr, Melissa and Hannah do their best to make up for it, and well, James, Jordan and baby Sarah are all over Jake’s sweetheart like she’s already family. When the family reconvenes for Christmas Dinner, it’s a blessing to see the long table groaning with delicious food and surrounded by smiling faces. Everybody’s in their festive best, and Georgie can’t keep her eyes from Jake and his sweetheart. Her son is different with this girl, softer, gentler, kinder, and sweeter. There’s a new strength in his eyes, something gentle with a core of steel. Of course, that’s when the third straw makes its appearance.
“Jacob.” Georgie’s bracing for a fight the minute Henry opens his mouth and turns suddenly cold, flinty green eyes on his youngest son.
“Yes, sir?” Jake keeps his eyes on his plate, but Georgie doesn’t miss how her son clutches to his fiancé’s hand like she’s his lifeline.
“Look at me when I’m speaking to you, boy.” Jake’s eyes are burning as he looks up to his father and not for the first time, Georgie wishes she were telepathic, if only so she could tell her husband to shut up.
“Are you thinking this through? I’m sure she’s nice enough, but what makes you think she’s appropriate for a man in your social standing?” Georgie’s eyes snap to her husband for the first time since he opened his mouth. The sweet girl Jake brought home, Jake himself, neither of them deserve what Henry is saying. Not at all.
“Appropriate for a man of my social standing?” Georgie knows exactly what that particular tone means. The last time she heard it was before Jake left them for six long years. “I wasn’t aware I had a social standing, Pops.”
Jake's sitting stiff-backed in his overstuffed dining chair, and while Georgie knows exactly how Jake is going to act and react and respond here, she has no idea how Jake's sweetheart will. A part of Georgie hopes she'll cry, because at least then Jake's attention will be on her. But Georgie also knows Jake's sweetheart well enough to know there isn't a chance of that happening.
Her eyes go hurt and sad for the shortest time before she wraps an arm around Jake's and settles in for the storm that's brewing. Georgie catches Hannah's eye and motions for her to take the kids to the sitting room clear on the other side of the house. Nobody notices Hannah ushering the little ones away.
“Ridiculous. I thought the Navy was supposed to teach discipline, not show my son how to whore around." Jake's sweetheart's face falls the moment she hears Henry say the word 'whore'. She looks incredibly small and distraught, more so than when Jake was hurt. Jake wraps an arm around her before facing his father again. "Is she knocked up? Is that why you brought that cheap little slut into my house and introduced her to your brothers and sisters? To your niece and nephews?”
Georgie wishes more than ever that she had stood up to Henry before this. That she had when Henry first started to beat Jake down for following his dreams. Because she knows the difference in Jake. Could Henry have seen the difference if he'd come to San Diego when Jake was in the hospital? A part of Georgie's just not sure. But the one thing she does know is that the kids don't need to hear this, not at Christmas. It's a good thing that Hannah has whisked them away.
“What did you say about her?” This house and dining table have both seen their fair share of Seresin fights. Between the kids, between Henry and Jake and between Henry and his eldest son as well. But all of a sudden, Georgie realizes that this table - this house - has probably never seen a fight like this one. Jake, her emotional, sweet, youngest son looks cold and detached.
“You heard me, son.” Henry, on the other hand, looks excited in a sick sort of way.
“I did hear you, Dad.” Jake looks all of a sudden like a man Georgie's never seen before. Certainly not a man she's ever raised.
“I wanted to make sure that I heard the right thing. Let’s get one thing clear. I found the love of my life in San Diego. She’s not a whore, she’s not knocked up, though that’ll happen as soon as she lets me put a baby in her. She’s not cheap. My gorgeous girl is the most amazing woman I’ve ever met."
This level of love, of devotion from Jake has Georgie tearing up. Her youngest son has definitely grown up. All of a sudden she realizes why her dad was so keen on Jake going into the Navy. If he'd stayed in Texas, he would've lost his spark, his strength. He would've become a shell of himself rather than the man facing down his father for the woman he loves who is sitting at the dining table.
"You’re not in the Navy so you have no idea what it does to a relationship to be apart from someone for months, maybe years at a time, when you love them. It takes a special person to withstand the deployments, the stress, the injuries, all of it. I found that person and I asked her to marry me. I brought her home because I wanted her to have a support net, people she could rely on when I’m deployed so she’s not alone in a house like a mausoleum all by herself.”
“I’m in my right mind, old man. I know exactly what I’m doing. I’ve been thinking about marrying her since the night I met her. There isn’t another woman in the world for me.” When Jake kisses the ring on his fiancee's finger, Georgie has to pat away tears.
But obviously Henry isn't done yet.
“Georgia.” She's more than a little shocked, hearing the vitriol in her husband's voice, and if she looks like a deer in headlights, she's sure her children will forgive her.
“Where did we go wrong? These two,” He's growling, pointing at Jake and Eliza in turn. “Why do they always have to be such fucking embarrassments? You let Jake spend too much time with your dad so the little idiot joined the Navy and brought back a woman who probably couldn’t sit through a fancy dinner without embarrassing the family. And then there’s Eliza.”
Georgie's left shell shocked as her husband spits out words that she'd told him she never wanted to hear again. Or else.
“Our daughter couldn’t even turn out right, huh? If I had my way she would’ve been married to the youngest Johnson boy. He’s perfectly respectable. But no. We let her go to college in New York and she came back with a girlfriend. Disgraces, both of them.”
Eliza and Beth are struck just as dumb as Georgie is, and as her mind races, she numbly catalogs the tears swimming in both of the girls' eyes. Just as she and Jake both open their mouths, a chair gets pushed back from the table, the squeal startling her from her stupor. It's Henry Jr, and he's glaring at his father like he never has before
“Jake, Will, Eliza, Maggie, Mel. We’re leaving. Now.” His voice booms in the chilly silence permeating the room, even as his siblings jump to attention.
“Where do you think you’re going?” Henry’s always taken more after his father and less after her, but in this moment Georgie sees herself in her eldest son.
“I’m going to celebrate Christmas with my siblings. My siblings who I love because of who they are, not the political power they’ll bring me.”
Henry's face looks sad and older than its years when he turns to Georgie next. “I’m sorry, Mama. I can’t sit here and hear my siblings and their fiancée’s get insulted like this, not anymore. It’s something I should’ve done months ago, when Eliza first brought Bethie home.”
Georgie's heart breaks at those words. Damn Henry. Damn him to hell and back. He might have just lost their children and grandchildren - for him and her. It's no wonder that a tear spills down her cheek as Georgie musters her voice enough to ask, “Will you at least take some of the food with you?"
“Yeah, Mama. Eliza, can you help Mama pack up enough food for all of us?” Georgie’s not sure what else she’s supposed to do other than nod silently in agreement.
“Jake and Beth. Can you grab your bags? The four of you will stay with Will and Hannah or Mel and I. We can figure out who’s staying where in a bit.” The kids erupt in a flurry of activity, Eliza rushing into the kitchen to grab tupperware to pack some food up almost immediately after Henry places his ultimatum at his father’s feet.
With the colossal table empty between Henry and her, Georgie can’t help the rage clouding her thoughts. The fool is just sipping on his whiskey and eating his food like it’s another perfectly normal day. But it’s not. He just imploded their entire family with a few words and it’s obvious that as much as her children love her, that they’ll pick each other over their parents. Georgie’s not sure how she does it, staring silently at the face of the man who she once knew better than she knew herself even as her stomach rebels at the thought of another morsel of food passing her lips. It feels like she’s sharing a table, a home, and a life with a stranger.
Georgie pushes away from the table, ignoring the incredulous look on Henry’s face at the unsightly squeal that rips through the dining room and the jangle of silverware and cut crystal glasses. To his credit, he doesn’t even try to get up as she walks to the foot of the stairs. All of her children are in the foyer, Melissa, Hannah and the twins holding the bags of gifts while Beth and Eliza have their bags in their hands. Henry’s got Sarah in his arms and one of Eliza’s bags in his hand. The only two missing are Jake and his Sweetheart. They walk down the stairs soon after. Jake perfunctorily kisses her cheek, but she manages to manhandle her son into a hug. His stiff muscles finally give in, and Georgie leaves it be after a few minutes.
It leaves her to look at Jake’s Sweetheart, and the poor thing is biting her lip and wringing her hands together. It looks like she’s trying to think of something to say, but instead Georgie takes both of her hands in her own.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart. No matter what my husband says, you’re family to me. I can’t wait to see you marry my son. You make him so happy. That’s all I’ve ever wanted - my children happy.” Georgie doesn’t let the shock on her sweet soon-to-be daughter-in-law’s face faze her though. She squeezes the poor girl tight, ignoring how her eyes are misty when she pulls away.
“That’s why I gave Jake the ring my father, his Grandpa Jacob, gave my mother. I hope I’ll see you soon?”
It doesn’t surprise Georgie at all to see how Jake smiles, just once in her direction and nods. But as soon as the front door closes, she unleashes the rage she’s been holding at bay for the better part of her life.
“HENRY DAVID SERESIN!” The volume and pitch of her voice startles her a little as she stalks back into the formal dining room. She’d worry about the dogs, but honestly, the two of them are probably out in the backyard anyway.
“What the hell was that?!” Her voice is a dangerously smooth purr as she fixes her eyes on her husband’s face.
“That, Georgia, was my disapproval for our ridiculous twins. I’ll never understand how I let you coddle them so much.”
“Shut up, Henry.”
“What? What did you just say to me?”
“I said … Shut Up!” There’s no respect in her voice, not anymore.
“I’ve spent more than half my life with you. And I loved you, with all my heart. But you’re not the man I fell in love with.”
Henry looks a little shell shocked and to be honest, Georgie’s not sure where this came from, but boy does it feel good.
“I trusted you. Every decision that you made for our children? I had faith that you had their best interests in mind. And then you single handedly chased our son away. And then you irreparably hurt our daughter because she fell in love. And just when I had all of my children under our roof again, you chased them all away again.”
Georgie’s breathing raggedly as she stares into her husband’s dead eyed gaze.
“Well I’ve had enough of this, Henry.”
Henry can’t even pretend to look worried or confused. Is this what a man who loves his wife acts like when she’s angry with him?
“What are you going to do, Georgia? Everything you have, you have because I gave to you.” There’s a cruel tint to Henry’s voice as he stands up and grasps her face.
“No, Henry. Everything you have, you have because I gave it to you." She wrestles her way out of his firm grasp. "The political power, the success, the successful cattle farming business? It all came out of the money my daddy gave me when I married a farmhand’s son with lofty aspirations but not a penny to his name. And you know what? I’d give anything to have that man back instead of the monster he became.”
Georgie’s words seem to ring in the empty house as she marches up to the bedroom and packs a few bags. It’s not until much later, when she’s driving to her sister’s house that she realizes that Henry never came after her. It hurts, the thought that nearly forty years of love didn’t even merit a try at reconciliation. But for her sons and daughters, she’d do anything, even rip her heart into two.

Hey lentils. I mean bean.
Modern au with magic. Also it's horror.
Starts with Z'aanta out hunting the redeye and he gets turned to stone. Hägen is killed too and yadda yadda, Hägen thinks he's Z'aanta.
The redeye had been wandering around a part of a city for a while but finally made a nest in the hospital, so the hospital is blocked off while the knights ardante try to figure out a solution. Between Z'aanta getting turned to stone and the hospital getting blocked off, it's like a week so Hägen has really had some time to stew in his thoughts n theories.
Also the redeye drags all its victims to its nest so Z'aanta is in the hospital too. There's one particular room where it keeps all its little guys.
Anyway, after a while, the knights ardante conclude that the only way to kill the redeye is to demolish and explode the hospital ontop of it. They can't get the stone people out cause whenever they try, each rescue team just gets turned to stone too.
So they announce that they're demolishing the hospital and giving up on saving the stoned people. Obviously, H'aanit is livid. The night before they start the demolition, she sneaks in with Linde.
The knights ardante figure out that someone snuck in so they send Eliza to get H'aanit tf out. Also, I'll find any excuse to have more characters in fics so Ophilia is there too. Initially, she does not enter the hospital but she goes in on a whim because Eliza found evidence of second person sneaking in around the same time as H'aanit.
So! H'aanit is in the hospital looking for the nest while Eliza is following her and elsewhere, Ophilia is tracking down this mysterious second intruder, all while everyone keeps dying either because of the redeye, the other monsters that have started appearing or because of a... third thing.
As the night goes on and Hägen tries to "save himself" from being completely destroyed, he's also somewhat curious about this second party.
In one room, he finds the horrible mutilated corpse of a young man. Hägen saves him and finds out this man is called Kit! When asked why he's in the hospital at all, Kit says he's looking for something. Whatever. Hägen doesn't really care, he just wants to save his body so he leaves.
I'm not entirely sure how it'd get to this, but near the end, H'aanit, Eliza, Ophilia and Kit have been turned to stone and Hägen realizes he isn't Z'aanta. Linde is dead and they talk and he remembers he's just a doggy.
While they're talking and trying to figure out a solution, the redeye looks directly at them. It screams and asks why it can't turn them into stone.
Ok so they can't 4 minutes before death stone people cause they're not *really* dead. BUT. Graham is like. ough. horrid. And Hägen realizes Graham has a core and 4 minutes before deaths him.
This 4 minutes before death is Lyblac trying to turn Graham into a Galdera vessel so Hägen and Linde have to disrupt and mess up the ritual as much as possible. Lyblac can vaguely sense them so they've gotta do it without her noticing :3
The Yomiel stuff is kinda split between Lyblac and Redeye.
Anyway!! They do. New future has Z'aanta and Graham laughing over beers. H'aanit, Eliza, Kit and Ophilia are playing board games while Hägen and Linde are curled up on the floor fast asleep. Lyblac is rotting in prison as she deserves <3
BWAGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! REALLY COOL!!!!!!!
redeye collecting people statues like little figurines is extremely funny to me. his touys.
AND!!!!!! 4 MINUTES BEFORE GRAHAM’S DEATH!!!!!!!!!!! THATS SUCH A GOOD FUCKING CONCEPT GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Hamilton AU
Alastor x OC
Angelica...Alexander... Congratulations; You've invented a new kind of stupid A damage you can never undo Kind of stupid An open all the cages in the zoo Kind of stupid Clearly, you didn't think this through, Kind of stupid
Angel and Mallory walked through the hallway of the tower.
Angel was livid.
Vox had broadcasted the entirety of Alastor's affair to all of hell.
Kind of a way to tell his friend about the betrayal, and a way to defeat alastor himself.
Aponi was deavestated.
And Angel and Mallory would not let that stand.
The two opened the door to Alastor's studio.
"Angel, Mallory. What do I owe the pleasure?" Alastor asked as he turned off his microphone.
"Congratulations," Angel stated.
Alastor's eyebrow raised.
He had already been yelled at by Aponi in which they broke up. What more could happen now?
"You've invented a new kind of stupid-" Mallory began.
"A damage impossible ta undo kinda stupid-" Angel stated.
"An open all the cages in the zoo Kind of stupid-" mallory cut in.
"Didja even think this through? Really fuckin stupid!" Angel shouted.
Let's review, You took a rumor a few Maybe two people knew And refuted it by sharing an affair Of which no one had accused you I begged you to take a break You refused to
"I haven't the slightest what you're talking about," Alastor stated, playing dumb.
"Oh you don't? Fine. Let's review. You cheated on Aponi and then manipulated her trying to turn it into her fault.. and then Vox broadcasted proof of it. And then you fuckin admitted it and told the entirety of hell that you will never be truly in love," Angel explained.
"She begged you to take a break and you refused to!" Mallory finished.
So scared of what your enemies will do to you But you're the only enemy you ever seem to lose to! You know, Jefferson can do what he wants He doesn't dignify schoolyard taunts with a response! So yeah, congratulations! Angelica...
"You dont understand-"
"So scared of what ya enemies will do to ya! But ya the only enemy ya ever seem ta loose ta!" Angel interrupted.
"Do you know why Vox can do what he wants? He doesn't dignify schoolyard taunts with a response!" Mallory shouted.
"So yeah. Congratu- fuckin- lations," Angel stated.
"Angel..." Alastor muttered.
You've redefined your legacy, congratulations!
It was an act of political sacrifice!
"You've redefined your legacy. Congratulations," Mallory stated before ghe two began to make above to leave.
"It was an act of political sacrifice!" Alastor shouted.
...Sacrifice?
I languished in a loveless marriage in London I lived only to read your letters I look at us and think, "God, what have we done with our lives, And what did it get us?"
"Sacrifice?" Angel asked. "She languished in a loveless relationship in life, and died because of her own doin. And I look around and think 'what have we done with our lives and what did it get us?'" Angel stated.
Alastor looked down, his wide smile fading a bit.
That doesn't wipe the tears or the years away But I'm back in the city And I'm here to stay
You know what I'm here to do?
Angelica...
I'm not here for you...
"Look it doesn't wipe her tears or the years away," Mallory stated.
"But we're still in the city and we're here to stay. And ya know what I'm here ta do?" Angel asked.
"Angel-"
"We ain't here for you,"
I know my sister like I know my own mind You will never find anyone as trusting or as kind And a million years ago She said, "This one's mine," So I, Stood by...
Do you know why?!
"I know Aponi like I know my own mind, you will never find anyone as trusting or as kind! And a million years ago she looked at you and said 'this ones mine'" Angel yelled.
"I didn't warn her of you. Do you know why?" Mallory asked.
I love my sister more than anything in this life! I would choose her happiness over mine Every time Eliza! Is the best thing in our lives And never lose sight of the fact That you have been blessed with the best wife!
"I love Aponi more than anything in this death! And I'll choose her happiness older everytime!" Angel shouted.
"Aponi is the best thing in this city, so never lose fact that you have been blessed with the best girl!" Mallory scolded.
Congratulations For the rest of your life! Every sacrifice is for my sister Give her the best life!
Congratulations.
"Congratulations," Angel stated. "For the rest of your time down here every sacrifice you make is for my best friend, give her the best death," Angel stated before he and Mallory walked out of the room, slamming the door.
Alastor sat there.
Usually he would never take that shit from other demons....
But right now, he was so sad about the breakup with aponi, he just took it. He knew he deserved it.

The following log is evidence of crimes committed by David Alicant (deceased). Text transcribed from audio.
Warnings for murder and discussion of child death.
TAPE 4- Found taped to the minute hand of Big Ben. Two bodies posthumously identified as Eliza and Thomas Weatherby were found on the scene.
[TRANSCRIPT START]
DAVID: This was where it ended. You said something peculiar to me, while we were making our way up this tower. "Fiona saved me." I passed it off as meaningless babble. But I was wrong. It turns out... the procedure was a failure.
[David pauses]
DAVID: You were dying, both of you. You don't remember, but you and Fiona were good friends. She was a bit older than you at the time. Apparently, she... decided... rather than to save her own life, to save yours. Magic is a powerful thing. She was quite skilled. I'm not sure if she knew what I planned to do and reacted accordingly. But she had placed a spell on the both of you. A sacrificial spell. And that spell took effect when you were dying. Hence... why one of you survived the operation.
[Another pause]
DAVID: I couldn't understand, at first. I was livid. As I stared over the city, I considered throwing you over the edge to your fate. After all I had done... Fiona... she had chosen death. To save you.
[Footsteps are audible]
DAVID: Your parents came, of course. Demanded I turn myself in. Laughable. I killed them here, my dear. I painted the floor with their blood and split their skulls and once I realized what I had done, what state my life was now in, you were already gone.
[Heavy breathing is audible]
DAVID: I don't know how you survived. The fight was a brutal one. As skilled as your parents were- dark magic has its own set of rules. They fought well. As I watched them bleed out, I felt... satisfied. I had taken everything from them, as they had from me. But you... staring at me... those eyes, they haunted me. You were the last link I had to my past, and I just couldn't have that. The story is almost over, my darling. One last time. Where it all started...

At the caraibbean vacation Eliza took with her two best friends, Amber and Karen, things aren't going so well. It all started with the new pictures Nancy Landgraab posted on Social Bunny: an elegant renovated kitchen, probably worth thousands of Simoleons. Karen and Eliza are livid with jealousy. "Maybe Karen, being single, could still win the heart of some billionaire..." says Amber "But Eliza, you clearly aimed too low with Bob..." Eliza is taken aback from Amber's words. She knew her friends didn't like Bob, but he worked so hard and they managed to buy a beautiful house in Willow Creek. Which is still very far from anything Nancy has or ever had, Eliza is painfully aware of that. "Well, it's not like I can divorce Bob just to go look for a richer man!" yells Eliza to her friends. "Who says you can't??" asks Karen. She has always been the hardest with her words, Eliza knows what's coming. "Are you stuck to Bob Pancakes? Are you now the loving Msr Pancakes, ready to cook and clean the house for him? Are not your own person?" "But of course I am..." says Eliza, meekly. "Well then, you know what to do if you want to change your situation. Or at least, that's what I'll do if I were you, Eliza! You better start to raise your standards!" Always the voice of truth, speaking for everyone and always in the right, Karen retires in their shared BnB. If only one of the three of them ad married better, they could have afforded a fancy hotel. Really Eliza, you used to have higher standards...

Back to the Brokes
so nice to see them again
Flo welcomed me back to her household by having a fear being brought up again, but thankfully it was easily solvable: she wanted to meet someone new, then discuss her fears. In this case, a child of Eliza and Bob Pancakes showed up, and she was able to dispel Flo's fears.
I'm really glad that was out of the way right off the bat.
To go back to what I usually do with Sims, I'm having Flo, Flat, and Ruby meet Sims within their job/school, and Ruby ended up meeting Luna Villareal. She has absolutely no interest in joining any clubs, especially not something named "Paragons". What a bunch of jerks.
Luna, however, is not a jerk, and Ruby is young.
I'm not actually sure if this will go anyway, but don't worry, she's not going to romance every Sim that she befriends. Probably.
After meeting up with Luna at the ruins, she was swept away to the Humor and Hijinks, where I had to look up if teens can have emotional deaths because she became hysterical a few times.
She got to watch some fireworks, while hoping that no one could smell her.
The next day and a thorough shower later, Buck came over for a visit, and Ruby was able to have a really nice chat with her uncle.
For some reason though, within the time that Ruby left to start a school project, and Flat coming home from work, Buck became livid, and started hurling insults at Flat.
Speaking of work, Flat and Flo changed careers that suit them better. They both have been coming home very stressed, which might mean there's a vacation in their future, but for now they are working part time jobs.
With this new time on her hands, Flo is able to focus more on herself and her interests.
Ruby managed to meet up with Luna at a café, but she never ended up getting a coffee. The one barista that was there was definitely overworked, and Ruby caught Luna nabbing at least one person's order.
Regardless, they were able to have a nice chat before Flo popped up out of nowhere and suggested (i.e. told) Ruby to do her homework.
I'm actually kinda surprised that Ruby finished her homework, because she was getting to be pretty hungry.
#just getting back into the swing of the brokes#i've tried having flo look for roommates but so far nothing's happened#they have a substantial amount of money for now#but given that they both are now doing part time jobs where they work for maybe 3 days a week#that's going to change fast#ruby might end up getting a job at some point who knows#the sims 4#ts4#simblr#the sims 4 gameplay#the sims 4 screenshots#the sims 4 legacy#sims 4#ts4 gameplay#the brokes#images have alt text

Character Coffees
Another author friend of mine said for character building she always figures out everyone's go-to coffee drinks/morning beverages. So I thought I'd give it a try! I am doing their regular orders from The Java Tavern, though... just for extra fun. :)
I have the characters listed in order from Main Character all the way down to antagonists that make more than one appearance. No spoilers given away for storyline because these are strictly in reference to their characters!
Eliza Woods- Drip coffee. Sometimes she adds a little sugar and creamer depending on the time of day. Her first cup of the day is always black, though.
Bartholomew “Barry” Digby – A strong black tea with two lumps of sugar. If he was still alive, that is. Scones or biscuits.
Khai Enache – Double shot Americano, two pumps Hazelnut, one pump Amaretto, and creamer. With cookies. Any kind of cookies that don’t have dried fruit in them. Khai hates dried fruit in pastries.
Chad Miller – Caramel Latte, typically iced. Rarely hot. And 2, or maybe 3 of whatever pastries look the most appetizing that day.
Phoebe Kirkpatrick – Iced Chai Latte. No matter the weather or time of year. She always tries the new pastry of the day, especially if it’s a new creation that her BFF, Eliza, created. If she’s on the run she’ll pop in for a Baby Muffin and her ice latte.
Charles “Charlie” Hardy – Black drip coffee because it’s free when he’s in uniform, and he’s always in uniform. Sometimes he’ll order half a dozen chocolate chip cookies (to go) with his free coffee. If he’s drinking his coffee in house he’ll grab a piece of pie.
Lexi – Two shots of espresso straight up or she’ll pour them over steamed oat milk with two pumps of caramel, two pumps pumpkin syrups. Seasonally, of course. Lexi likes to follow the flavor trends of the year. Pumpkin, Irish cream, peppermint mocha, you name it. She’ll add those syrups accordingly.
Gregor – Iced drip coffee with creamer and whatever fun concoction of syrups he decides for the day. Gregor likes to mix it up and experiment with his basic drip coffee over ice. Consistent but unexpected, just like Gregor himself. He also prefers any flavor pies to anything else Eliza makes just out of personal preference. Secretly, he thinks the baby muffins are disgusting.
Carly – Cappuccino. Carly is more likely to order a hot tea but some mornings she needs a little coffee in her sugary milk to get her going and that’s perfectly fine. Carly adores the mini cheesecake pies, plain, no toppings.
Nellie – Hot drip coffee with two shots of hazelnut syrup and honey. No cream. Nellie loves the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and coffee crumble muffins.
Myles – Earl Grey tea with two shots of lavender syrup, on ice or hot depending on the weather. Scones or toasted English muffin with butter. Apple fritters if they’re fresh.
Tara – Caramel Macchiato, extra cream, extra foam. A baby muffin or another savory pastry. Taco pastries are her favorites so she always goes to The Java Tavern on Tuesdays or has Lexi grab her one before they sell out.
Tiffani “Tiff” Harris – Hot chocolate. Tiff doesn’t need coffee. She’s fueled by hate and chaos. Also, she doesn’t eat carbs. How boring.
Talbot Chandler – Double shot of espresso with steamed milk instead of water, two pumps of amaretto and a packet of sugar. Not too hot, will ask for ice cubes to go in his coffee if it is too hot to consume immediately. Talbot always orders a chocolate crescent to go with his very particular coffee order and is livid if there aren’t any available.
Well, there you have it. Everyone's Java Tavern order. That was kind of fun! I really needed think about some of them. A few of the characters have already established their regular beverages in the books, others I had to create from scratch!

eliza: ............... [She looked livid. And her hands were sparking with flames a bit. She would try to calm herself down] it's fine..........you know what........this is fine! [She said, her eye twitching a bit]
[Liv would be mad to, not looking at her. It's not like she would do it on purpose. That's just......they way she was. Admittedly she did need to work on it more. But she could care less right now]
[Eliza had ran away because Liv made some anti-mutnat people mad, and they started to chase the both of them. Resulting in them both being separated and getting lost]
Eliza: damn, just my luck- ACK!
[She trips over something, falling on her face]
-they hopped down from where they were perched and landed near them-
-chirp- “spiderling ok?”

all i want out of my Unsatisfied AU is for Samuel to put up with Alexander and be relatively polite (if quite a bit sarcastic/dismissive) until one day he’s just like “oh my god will you shut the fuck up” and Alexander is so taken aback that he can’t even respond
#unsatisfied au#dsklfldfkldjhfkdlhjflhkj it won't even be an argument. alexander just makes some subtle sling-off and sam SNAPS#actually there is one scene planned where alexander is just straight up arguing at samuel and he's livid#and after sam just looks at him and is like 'sorry i wasn't listening' and then just walks away#honestly samuel john and peggy are the only people with actual common sense. eliza also has common sense until she gets around alexander.#alexander is Jealously Central only when he thinks someone's 'stealing someone away' from him#versus sam who literally doesn't give a shit#fkdhfkflfjfhjdfklhjdkafs the only time i allow jealousy in my fics are when ppl aren't together
