hehehe hiiii this is my list of lyric changes in live performances of michael (all gathered from concert recordings on youtube), there are almost definitely even more changes that i havent seen yet but these are the ones ive found from my phase of watching over 30 live performances of michael on youtube
lines like ‘im sexy’ replaced with ‘you’re sexy’ , other ‘i’ statements replaced with ‘you’ sometimes
‘sticky hips’ part of chorus skipped over sometimes idk why tbh
‘it’s close now’ sometimes replaced with ‘you’re close now’
at pinkpop performance ‘it’s close now’ was replaced with ‘so pink now’ .
typically in the second ‘so come and dance with me’ section, the last ‘so come and dance with me’ is replaced with ‘so come all over me’ . sometimes this does not happen, and sometimes it also happens in the first ‘so come and dance with me’ section. less common tho
in their first US show performance of micheal, the final ‘so come and dance with me’s of each section are replaced with ‘so break a [unintelligible] with me’. might say hall or wall?
sometimes says ‘micheal you’re dancing, you’re a beautiful dance-whore’ instead of ‘micheal you’re dancing like a beautiful dance-whore’
music for life 2017 performance of micheal he says “this is what i am, your favourite man” instead of “i am a man” in the bit right before the main chorus bit (he said “i am a man” earlier however). TRNSMT festival 2018 he says your favourite man also, says it first time and fhen second time says “spectacular man” im thinking these lyric changes are common in the more recent performances of it?
earliest recorded performance of it it is quite literally not possible to tell if there are any lyric changes however it’s possible the come and dance with me change was included
2022 just like heaven fest performance he says either “this is what i am / yes, such a fine man” or “this is what i am / you’re such a fine man” in the first chorus. in the second chorus he sings “this is what i am / i’m an ice cream man”
rock n heim 2013 says ‘because’ in beginning of main chorus (‘because you’re all that i see [etc.]’)
spancirfest 2023 he says “this is what i am / banana (?) toast man”. seems to be part of a general trend in more recent performances where he says a food instead of just ‘a man’.
2010 mexico performance he sings “stubble on my sticky hips”, possibly deliberate, possibly just a mispeak. may happen in other performances too?
2018 kyiv performance sings ‘flamboyant man’. also sings “you’re all i need” first verse instead of “you’re all i see”
according to alex’s twitter, he makes up new lyrics each performance.
YOU'RE A SAINT FOR THIS AND ALEX KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING
we've been blessed by this list thank you
i'm going to check later what he did at paradiso amsterdam live cause i have it on cd but i remember that there were some changes
so come all over me change is my favourite thing ever fr😭😭😭

Living Prism
Living Prism, Hebdomad Press, 2013
Living Prism is a modern-day game of supernatural conspiracies. You'll find a lot that's familiar here - a hidden society and low-end supernatural power in the depths of a city's underbelly - so I'm going to focus on what makes it different.
The name of the game refers to your character's ability to split themselves into multiple "facets", presumably because "rays" sounded a little weird. (I, personally, can split myself into Ray Stantz and Ray Terrill, so that's pretty awesome.) Each facet has only a fraction of your abilities and being, which doesn't sound great until you find out that you get to define which specific fractions. You can make a facet that holds your tangibility for you, letting you pass through solid matter. You can create a facet that doesn't have your sense of pain so that it can fight for you. Really, they're all you, so you're the one fighting for you, but you generally just play a gestalt self rather than individual facets. Re-merging your facets requires physical contact.
Living Prism is a Fate derivative, which I think is a great choice of system. It uses Aspects to handle the many different ways you might assemble a facet. The game encourages you to be creative but stick to low-level powers. Tucking all of your weight into a facet will not give you the ability to fly, but you might float on the wind. However, giving away the fact that you reflect light in order to become jet-black and hide in the shadows is perfectly ok. It's very much driven by GM-party consensus. Skills include Exploration, Investigation, Subterfuge, and Athletics.
Your society revolves around a strange pool of light found deep within the hidden subway tunnels of Amsterdam. The first Living Prisms were unhoused people and urban explorers some forty years ago who found the pool and were changed by it. Since then, they've worked their way into all kinds of strange situations, discovering ghosts, angels, demons, mole-men, dimensional shifters, and my personal favorite, naturally-evolved AI-like organisms that live in communications networks.
There are several factions to belong to, each with a strong central thesis that guides their actions. One of the weaknesses of the setting is that there's no good reason for these factions to work together unless it's a "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" kind of way.
Living Prism went through several incarnations before becoming what it is now. It started as WoD netbook "Digger: the Invisible", shifted drastically into modern-day Battlelords-inspired "Matrix Runner" (well before the Maze Runner books), settled back toward urban fantasy as the homebrewed "Urban Light", and finally became the Fate adaptation it is now. It's a wild journey. If you have copies of any of the earlier versions, send them my way - I'd love to review Matrix Runner, but all I have right now is memories of a long-gone tattered copy that somehow found its way into the public library.
#review#rpg#ttrpg#imaginary#indie ttrpg#thankfully you're not a triangular piece of glass#that would be a really different game#probably not a very good one

any fic recs where harry falls first??? thanks :p
Sure! Sometimes it’s hard to identify whoever’s falling first because of different POVs, but you might enjoy these:
Play Dates by bixgirl1 (2017, E, 8k)
Harry never thought seeing Malfoy as a dad would affect him this way.
Blind Date by josephine_wenteworth (2016, T, 8.6k)
Draco’s been working with Harry for years when another one of his relationships goes stale. He has to be married within a year, and though the WizNet has burned him in the past, Draco finds a new possibility in man as desperate to marry as he is.
Solve Us Like a Mystery by tryslora (2013, T, 12k)
When Harry stops in at the bookstore where Draco works, they find a surprising shared interest in mysteries.
In Which Harry is Magnetic North and Draco Is An Idiot by bryoneybrynn (2014, T, 13k)
For as long as he can remember, Draco’s been bringing fake dates to his family’s annual Yuletide celebration in order to evade his mother’s matchmaking.
Voices From The Fog by noeon (2010, E, 13k)
After years of running away, Harry crosses paths with an all-too familiar face and follows him to Amsterdam.
Take the Moon by @tackytigerfic (2022, M, 15k)
Harry Potter has always wanted a family of his own, and when a deadly blood curse forces him into a marriage bond with his best friend Draco Malfoy, it looks like he might just have found one.
Magical Menagerie by DorthyAnn (2017, T, 16k)
Convinced by Hermione to get a new pet, Harry goes to Magical Menagerie and finds it's now owned by Draco Malfoy who has changed since the war... in a good way, a really good way.
Take These Lies by @pennygalleon (2021, E, 20k)
There’s a portrait of his godfather in Draco Malfoy’s potions shop and Harry needs to know why. But that’s not why he keeps coming back.
With Great Yawns and Stretchings by sugar_screw (2016, T, 22k)
The coffee is very good. Really. And the cats are so cute. That's why Harry goes so often.
I Bet That You Look Good on the Dancefloor by birdsofshore (2015, E, 28k)
Harry felt lit up from inside as soon as he entered the bar. There were blokes dancing together, their bodies close to one another, not keeping a wary distance as Harry was always careful to do when he was near another man.
The Gentlewizard Club by Sophie_French (2014, E, 28k)
Draco wants what Draco wants. And if he has to snuggle up to Harry to get it, well, surely, Draco can handle that. Problem is, not sure Harry can.
Potential Gravity by zeitgeistic (2014, E, 32k)
Draco is not good at Cards Against Humanity, but Harry’s not good at being human, so it all works out. Except for the explosions. And Harry’s inability to live when Draco’s not around.
The Moon Looks Lovely Tonight by Omi_Ohmy (2014, M, 35k)
When Harry moves into the damp and empty Black house, it doesn’t quite feel like home. And then the first owl moves in. After that, it’s a steep slope leading to bed-sharing, more owls, assorted housemates, strange potions experiments, and terrible cooking. And a bit of waltzing, too.
The Vanishing Department by dictacontrion (2014, E, 47k)
The things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, even if that involves a lot more form-filling, bickering, covert glancing, miscommunication, and flying furniture than we might expect.
Here's The Pencil, Make It Work by ignatiustrout (2013, M, 50k)
Harry thinks "Why is Malfoy working in a coffee shop in muggle London?" is a much simpler question than, "Are you going to accept that auror offer and, if you don't, what will you do?"
Take the Air by dysonrules (2018, M, 51k)
Someone or something is attacking Muggles and leaving them for dead. Auror Harry Potter is assigned to the case, but with his usual partner unavailable, he is stuck with the most annoying Auror ever to walk the halls of the Ministry.
The Trouble with Wanting by waldorph (2021, E, 60k)
Draco Malfoy is cleared of all charges; this is what happens next.
Tea and No Sympathy by who_la_hoop (2014, E, 70k)
It's been nearly a year since the unpleasant business at Hogwarts, and Draco's getting on with his life quite nicely, thank you, until Harry sodding Potter steps in and ruins it all, just like always.
Kept in Cages by sweet_s0rr0w (2022, E, 76k)
Deep in the heart of the Ministry lies the Beast Division: a hidden room where ancient beasts roam, and winged creatures soar, and grumpy giant ferrets eat all your biscuits unless you keep them well hidden. Draco Malfoy would know – he’s been working there for five years now, after all.
Azoth by zeitgeistic (2013, E, 88k)
Now that Harry is back at Hogwarts with Hermione for eighth year, he realises that something’s missing from his life, and it either has to do with Ron, his boggart, Snape, or Malfoy.
Little Deaths and How to Avoid Them (or Draco Malfoy's Guide to Stop Dying and Start Living Instead) by nerakrose (2018, T, 96k)
Malfoy is way too interested in coroner reports for somebody who's definitely not looking for ways to die, Harry wants to be friends with him, and Ginny wants to break up with Harry.
Can't Sit Still by wilteddaisy (2018, E, 193k)
Five years after the war, Harry finds himself drawn to Draco Malfoy by memories that aren't his own.
A Secondary Education by Thunderbird587 (2018, E, 234k)
Fleeing the aftermath of his recent divorce, Draco Malfoy takes up a post as the new Potions Master at Hogwarts. At first he believes his hopes for a fresh start are dashed when he sees that a certain boyhood rival is on staff there as well. But Harry Potter is being weirdly nice to him, leaving Draco no choice but to play along.

my dear minnie! for the am ask game, i’d love to know your answers for 2 (specifically one of your favourite memories cause I know you’ve seen the lads quite a few times), 15 & 20 ✨
helloooooo loveliest lauren!! thanks so much for sending me these! 🥰💖
2. have you been to a live show? if so, feel free to share a photo/something particular that struck you about your experience!
i haaaave and i know i’ve already talked about it often enough to be annoying probably, but i’m just going to do it one more time… i’ve seen am live 9 times now (plus tlsp once) and it still feels like it was not nearly enough. these were my shows:
ferrara, italy 2013 (pics below)
düsseldorf, germany 2013
pinkpop, the netherlands 2014
pistoia, italy 2014
tlsp in amsterdam 2016
best kept secret, the netherlands 2018
sheffield, uk 2018 (and the tbhc art exhibition)
london, uk 2023
2x dublin, ireland 2023 (and some 505)
i’ve already shared some pics and videos from some of the shows i’ve been to before, which i’ve linked in list! i think the most memorable shows were my very first one, (obviously tlsp), the one in sheffield and the dublin ones, tbh. but as for my favourite memories... i have so very many, but i particularly still vividly remember my first show in italy (i was studying in venice at the time) bc it was an ✨experience✨
we waited for close to 10 hours in like 34 degree weather, miles was the support act and absolutely killed it, and i got to see them play 505 together for the first time 🥺 i also lost a shoe because it was that crazy, and i accidentally had lunch at the same restaurant as jamie and his family the day after. some pics below to illustrate
(just as a disclaimer: having lunch at the same restaurant as jamie was a total coincidence and i didn't even notice until my friend pointed it out lol. we didn't go up to him or anything, but i had to sneak a quick pic or my brother would have never believed me, and it's been sitting in a locked fb folder for the past 10 years 😅)
15. favourite arctic monkeys b-side?
first track that came to mind was catapult, so i’m going with that one! i truly love it an insane amount. but i’m also a huge fan of electricity, don't forget whose legs you're on, the blond-o-sonic shimmer trap and the afternoon's hat
20. favourite record ender track?
it’s reeeaallllyyyyyy hard to choose between a certain romance and 505, but if we’re talking purely which track feels like the best record ender (not which is my fave out of the two) then i’m going to go with a certain romance. completely perfect, epic, spectacular, melancholic, incredible. that song, man <3
thanks so much again for these questions, and i hope you have the most amazing day xxxx 🌷

Ooh could you name five movies and or tv shows that you want people to see that include disabled characters, preferably played by disabled actors. Pleaseeee i need more inspiration for resource making.
Because I mentioned disabled shows by disabled people:
Ryan O'Connell (1986) - he has cerebral palsy and is gay, adapted his memoir into a series called Special (2019-2020) according to IMDb he's in 16 episodes.
Josh Thomas (1987) - is Autistic, has ADHD, and is gay, is in Everything's Gonna Be Okay (2020-2021) which he's also an executive producer on, and according to IMDb he's in 20 episodes and also Please Like Me (2013-2016) 23 episodes!
Tim Renkow (1989) Mexican Jewish, he co-wrote Jerk (2019-2021) and according to IMDb he's in 8 episodes.

Lauren “Lolo” Spencer (?) African-American - has ALS, is in The Sex Lives of College Girls (2020-2021) and according to IMDb she's in 13 episodes.
Ben Mehl (?) - is blind, is in You (2021) and according to IMDb he's in 9 episodes.
Danielle Perez (?) Afro-Dominican, is a double lower leg amputee and is queer, is in a bunch of short things somebody could make a mini pack of!
Gloria May Eshkibok (?) Mohawk, Ottawa, Irish, French - is Two-Spirit (she/her) and has one eye - is in OChiSkwaCho (2018).
Matthew Jeffers (?) - has dwarfism, is in New Amsterdam (2018-2023) and according to IMDb he's in 32 episodes.
and then more suggestions from the amazing @olivaraofrph: Everything's Gonna Be Okay - has Kayla Cromer (an Autistic actress) and Not Dead Yet - has Rick Glassman (an Autistic actor) playing an Autistic character.
Not for faceclaim recommendations but I highly recommend everybody watches Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution too! As always, I cannot limit myself to five!
Let me know if you'd like more specific suggestions!
And I have a masterlist of disabled faceclaims here too!

Watch: NIGHTWISH's FLOOR JANSEN Performs In Amsterdam As Support Act For METALLICA
NIGHTWISH singer Floor Jansen performed earlier today (Saturday, April 29) at the Johan Cruijf Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands as the support act for METALLICA. She was the last-minute replacement for FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, which canceled its appearance because the band's singer Ivan Moody is recovering from a recent surgery to correct an acute hernia injury.
Fan-filmed video of Floor's performance can be seen below.
Jansen's debut solo album, "Paragon", arrived on March 24. The LP showcases the Dutch-born singer's impressive vocal range and powerful voice on a diverse collection of pop-infused tracks and emotional ballads influenced by the sounds of her career.
With its mix of influences and powerful vocal performances, "Paragon" is an album that will appeal to fans of pop music and metal alike.
As part of NIGHTWISH, Jansen has landed two number one albums in Finland, and Top Five albums in Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.
Born in the Netherlands, Jansen joined her first band, one of the world's first symphonic metal bands, AFTER FOREVER, when she was only 16 years old. The group went on to release five albums from 2000 to 2007, before they broke up in 2009.
Jansen's next band, REVAMP, released two albums in 2010 and 2013, before she joined NIGHTWISH as a full-time member. NIGHTWISH's first album with Jansen as the lead singer was 2015's "Endless Forms Most Beautiful", which landed in Top 10s around the world. This was followed by 2020's "Human. :II: Nature." , which was also an international success.
Jansen has toured extensively with the band and appeared on three of NIGHTWISH's live albums "Showtime, Storytime", "Vehicle Of Spirit" and "Decades: Live In Buenos Aires".
In 2019, Jansen participated in the popular Dutch TV show "Beste Zangers" where she scored a big hit with "Phantom Of The Opera" together with Henk Poort. She was recognized with a Dutch Popprijs award — a prestigious accolade for artists that has made important contributions to Dutch music. In the same year, her first solo tour sold out in less than 24 hours.
Jansen performed live with NIGHTWISH for the first time on October 1, 2012 at Showbox Sodo in Seattle, Washington following the abrupt departure of the band's lead singer of five years, Anette Olzon. Jansen officially joined NIGHTWISH in 2013.

Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands
Princess Catharina-Amalia (born 7 December 2003) is the heir to the Dutch throne and is the eldest of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima’s three daughters.
Unusually, the monarchy in The Netherlands has been predominantly female-led, with three Queens reigning in succession from 1890-2013, when Catharina-Amalia’s father became King, so she’s in good company historically.
Unlike her parents who have committed a handful of regrettable gaffes (including going on holiday to Greece during a Covid-19 lockdown), Catharina-Amalia seems to have her finger on the pulse of the nation.
Case in point:
She rejected her rights to a yearly royal allowance when she turned 18, ostensibly because as a student (she’s studying politics, psychology, law, and economics at the University of Amsterdam), she’s not a “working” royal but also because it felt wrong during a cost of living crisis.
Much like Prince William here, the Princess is keen to have a normal university experience and lived in shared housing with other students until she was threatened with kidnap by a criminal gang.
She also attended a public primary school and even worked in a beach bar in The Hague during her summer break.
Like many Gen Z-ers, she has spoken candidly about mental health, revealing she sometimes sees a therapist, and while making no direct comments about it, she was the focus of new legislation that means LGBTQIA+ royals would be able to marry anyone they chose without forfeiting their right to the throne.
The House of Orange is in need of good PR, as its popularity rankings have dropped in recent years, with Catharina-Amalia hopefully just the fresh face it needs.
Princess Elisabeth of Belgium
Princess Elisabeth (born 25 October 2001) will make history when she ascends to the throne as the country’s first Queen Regnant.
A decade before her birth, the primogeniture was altered to allow for female succession, and she will be the first monarch to benefit.
Had it not been changed, her younger brother, Prince Gabriel, would have been the next King.
The 22-year-old is the eldest daughter of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde. She has a second younger brother, Prince Emmanuel.
She spent her formative years in Brussels, before attending “Hippie Hogwarts,” UWC Atlantic College in Wales.
After completing her education, she undertook a year of military training at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels, following in the footsteps of other heirs to the throne.
She’s now studying at Lincoln’s College at Oxford University, where she has competed in the rowing team.
She’s a confident public speaker, having had lots of practice: her first speech was at the age of nine when she opened a children’s hospital named in her honour.
She’s also becoming increasingly recognised for her fashion choices, with reports of the “Elisabeth” effect in Belgium, where her fans rush out to buy what she’s wearing, drawing comparisons to our very own Princess of Wales.
In recent years, Belgium, like many other Western nations, has had to confront its colonial past.
How the Princess decides to acknowledge and apologise for Belgium’s part remains to be seen, but will be vital for how she’s viewed both at home and on the world stage.
Princess Leonor of Spain
The world has been gripped by so-called “Leonormania” in recent weeks, after the heir to the Spanish throne turned 18.
The eldest of King Felipe and Queen Letizia’s two daughters, Princess Leonor (born 31 October 2005) is fast-becoming a national obsession, with her every fashion choice (and potential boyfriend) documented and dissected.
Her rising public profile is in contrast to her closely guarded childhood, during which she made very few public appearances.
After attending primary school in Barcelona, she moved to Wales to complete her education at UWC Atlantic (the same school as Princess Elisabeth of Belgium), where she graduated earlier this year.
She is now enrolled in a military academy undergoing officer training, which will last for three years.
Ahead of her 18th birthday, she presented her inaugural Princess of Asturias Awards, managing to appear decidedly unstarstuck when meeting Hollywood icon Meryl Streep and Japanese author Haruki Murakami.
Much like her father, Leonor will be keen to distance herself from the fiscal scandals of her grandfather, the ex-King Juan Carlos, which also implicated her aunt and uncle, and have played out telenovela-style in Spain over the last decade.
She will do well instead to emulate her mother and grandmother, the beloved Queen Sofia, whose chic style she has already clearly inherited.
In terms of politics, one issue she may have to face head on is the rise of Catalan separatism – an issue that her father made a rare public statement against in 2020 – and which he has been widely criticised on.
Princess Victoria of Sweden (and Princess Estelle)
The 46-year-old Princess Victoria (born 14 July 1977) is another European royal who has benefitted from the modernisation of primogeniture.
In fact, she was second-in-line to the Swedish throne at birth and leapfrogged over her younger brother, Prince Carl Philip, upon the change in the constitution.
It caused something of a controversy at the time, as her father, King Carl XVI Gustaf, objected to the change – not because he didn’t want women to succeed but because of his sympathy towards his son, who was suddenly stripped of his Crown Prince status.
In Sweden, the monarch has even less of a role in public life than in the UK, and as such, King Carl XVI Gustaf has largely kept out of the spotlight.
However, similar to other royals of her generation, Victoria has been more candid about her personal life. She was open about her struggles with anorexia in the 1990s.
Speaking about her experience in 2002, she said:
“I, Victoria, didn’t exist. It felt like everything in my life and around me was controlled by others. The one thing I could control was the food I put in me.”
She leapt to the defence of her now-husband, personal trainer Daniel Westering, when the couple’s early relationship came under close scrutiny.
Princess Victoria’s 11-year-old daughter, Princess Estelle (born 23 February 2012), is next in line to the throne after her mother.
She has similarly benefitted from the change in the law, as she has a younger brother, Prince Oscar.
Commentary in the Swedish press questioned the appropriateness of their match, something which Victoria spoke out against.

2023 Movie Journey: Masterlist
if you’ve known me for any time at all, you should know by now that i will not watch very many movies this year. i’ll aspire to, i’ll think it’s a good idea, but it’s just not that likely to happen. however, that shouldn’t stop me from the fun of trying!
my goal was to average one movie a week so by year’s end i’d have seen more than 50. that didn’t come close to happening, but i’ll keep reviewing them here and check them off my watchlist as i go. (this list just keeps getting longer but i enjoyed updating it for 2023.)

The Promised Land
I've done my best to live the right way I get up every morning and go to work each day But your eyes go blind and your blood runs cold Sometimes I feel so weak I just want to explode
Terwijl Bruce zingt 'If I could take one moment into my hands, Mister I ain't a boy, no I'm a man, And I believe in a promised land', gaat er een combinatie door mijn lichaam van emotie, kippenvel en opluchting dat ik er toch nog steeds ben. 'It ain't no sin to be glad you're alive' zoals Bruce later op de avond nog zou zingen in 'Badlands'. Dank, Boss!
