Long talk/Ideas under the cut, warning for slight body horror and dark fae topics. (Note: I may add stuff over time, but nothing will be deleted from the list)

Twilight. Wind. Legend. Hyrule. Four. Sky. War. Wild.

Time (Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask). Other nicknames: Mask, Sprite, Old man, Pops.

Titles: Hero of Time, Hero of the Kokiri, Hero of Mask, Hero of Termina, The Hero’s Shade. The Changed Kokiri

God who has claim over his soul: Kishin (Fierce Deity)

Note: Also appears in Hyrule Warriors. Is responsive for the first timeline break:

Fallen timeline - never grows when picking up the master sword and ends up dead because the energy of the fight was too much on his body.

Child timeline - Where he went through Oot and was sent back. So, to everyone he just got the gems and as a kid with visions warn of the outcome. (twilight princess)

Adult timeline - this was the timeline where he defeated Ganon as an adult, it was abandoned after (Wind Waker).

History:

Time is not human at all, though he looks like it. He is a Kokiri, a child of the fae and once leaving the forest, he’s considered a changeling. His mother is Navi, though she wasn’t by his side for most of his ‘childhood’ as she was sent on mission by the great deku tree.

Being sent on his adventure after the great Deku tree’s death, he and Navi leave the forest (much to Navi and the other kokiris horror). And start the journey from Oot, the only difference is Time has a full-on panic when he wakes up as an adult, because he knows physically, he’s a kokiri. Even after the events of Oot, he is never fully the same, this isn’t helped when Navi leaves his side for a moment, and he can’t find her. As he goes to find her, he ends up in Termina and ends up in a hellish time loop. Time is unsure how long he was in this loop, so his age mentally is completely unknown. Eventually he succeeds, however he doesn’t get time to rest as he is immediately sent to the Era of War (Hyrule Warriors), with skull kid and others. He ends up growing close to the Link from that era and he learns a lot about him before he is sent back. He never goes back to the Kokiri forest, for fear he wasn’t Kokiri anymore and the lost woods would transform him.

After being sent back to his time, he ends up living at Lon Lon Ranch, going on small adventures before marrying Malon.

His death: Time is sent somewhere for a war and ends up wounded in the lost woods. He’s injured with a metal mix that is poisonous to kokiri . Knowing what awaits him, he decides to leave a ghost or imprint of his soul to help his children/descendants which he had.

Interest stuff/Head canons:

Kokiri's are children of Fae who have yet to decide what they want to be, they are adaptable to everything, hence why they mainly take on human children or little tree children.

The sharp teeth, claws and inhuman eyes are typically just a defense to keep humans away, the biggest difference being their blood and tears proving they are not human.

Time’s teeth and nails are still sharp, he just actively keep them trimmed or filed down so others won’t freak out

Typically, the guardian fairies are the ones to protect the kokiris however they can use their teeth and claws if needed.

Although It’s discouraged for any Kokiri to experience or cause harm from the old saying ‘not to spill blood in the forest, as the tree will remember and crave it’, and blood and flesh will have to become a part of diet to grow up healthy (so Time eats a lot more meat then most).

Time was very much afraid of dying from leaving the forest, he was reassured that having the gem and his mother would keep him alive and healthy. It’s why he hunts for Navi so much after Oot, and later so heavily used to Fierce deity mask in HW. He now knows he doesn’t need it (the mark FD gave him is enough), but he still wears the gem as comfort.

He still hopes to see Navi one day, maybe just for comfort.

Because of his Kokiri/Fae nature and his ability to adapt, he took on aspects from each of the transformation masks, most are hidden from sight.

The Deku scrub has left Time’s insides to be a network of roots and vines rather than veins, this does allow him to heal faster. The Goron has transformed his bones to rock, as well as the heat not affecting him, he could stick his hand in lava if the vines didn’t scream in pain. Zora already improved his musical ability (fae song) but also has added scales and the ability to breathe underwater. The FD has added his height, the marking that married his face and eye as well as his unnerving and unreadable magic signature.

However Time does his best to hide his inhuman features, it’s why he doesn’t take off his bottom layer of clothes. Only the FD mark can be seen.

Time's blind eye acts like the lens of truth times 100, however he keeps it close because of the information overload.

Time loves Malon, and always dreams of having a family with her, but he always fears what his inhuman genes might do to the kid. Twilight, who shares so many traits with him and Malon, eases these worries.

He is very experienced and physically is the oldest.

However, he does just enough odd stuff that the closer you look at him and his behavior, the more you're on edge.

He can speak Hylian, Zora, Goron and Deku really well, but all sound very stiff and formal. Fae is the only one he speaks naturally though it's been getting rusty as he mostly speaks Hylian.

He still has a lot of childlike mischief still left, so he not above pulling pranks, but mainly harmless ones considering he’s the voice of reason.

Time's favorite food are sweet treats. He has stolen many cookies.

He still has all his masks, and while he does show them to the group. The transformation mask never leaves his bag. Despite the FD mask being the only one with a soul left, it feels off to let anyone mess with the Goron, Deku or Zora.

Time’s eye glows in darkness.

He gave himself the scar over his eye.

He has a tattoo on his shoulder from the Goron’s back home. It’s just never seen sense he doesn’t take off his shirt.

Because of Termina, Time can keep time down to the second, day and night.

This probably won't happen, BUT I think this would be hilarious grouping for the next update.:

Time and Sky. Number one Hater of the master sword vs. Number One supporter. Both are adults, so they should be able to function (this is a lie). Ten minutes in and Dink runs away because he got tired of hearing them passive-agressively arguing.

Wild and Twilight. Wild seems to be pretty protective of Twilight rn, since Twi got injured. The roles have been reversed! It's Wild's turn to Not-Be-So-Wild, and Twilight is about to rip his hair out from how Motherly™ Wild is acting.

("Do you need anything? Are you feeling okay still? That chuchu hit your arm, do you need a potion?" "WILD, PLEASE----")

Legend and Warriors. Mr. Dungeon-less vs. Mr. Dungeon Master (read: prankster). Legend is about to have a BLAST teasing Warriors. Warriors is going to be grinding his teeth and praying to Hylia bc this is the third time he's tripped on his scarf and wants to cry. Bonus points of this dungeon includes floor tiles, wall masters, or those stupid freakin' orb/crystal things (ALBW/ALTTP dungeons). Legend hasn't laughed this hard in YEARS.

Hyrule, Four, and Wind. Woah, wait, is Hyrule the one trying to stay on track? Trying to NOT get lost? that's because Wind is SPEEDRUNNING this dungeon. Wind and Legend made a bet that Legend would finish first, and Wind obviously way better at this stuff! Wind does not want to lose!

Within the group, Four is the one actually fighting any monsters and gathering important items. He somehow manages to beat both Wind and Legend in their race. He's chilling too. And if anyone saw a few versions of Four with different colored tunic on, well...no you didn't lol ;)

Time: [pulling a trash bag from his adventure pouch] Where is it?

Wild: [muttering] Oh but not all of it I'm sure I could find uses for at least a few of the body parts...

Wind: [thumb up] Yeah of course! We'll just toss it into the ocean.

Sky: Ok but what if the Hyrule was landlocked...?

Wind: What if what? I'm a pirate.

Sky: Is that really how it works?!

Warriors: [polishing his sword] Huh? Dispose of a body? I can do that.

Sky: You...can?

Warriors: [glancing at his reflection] Eliminating traitors is a bit sporadic with its state funding so, I've had to get my hands dirty.

Sky: ...oh buddy.

Legend: Whose body is it? Under what circumstance? Who did the killing?

Legend: Sorry, I need to know if I should do it with enthusiasm or not.

Sky: [voice crack] Ledge...

Legend: Well I'm sorry, you keep telling me to find joys in life. I am trying!

Twilight: A-A body?! W-Why would you want me to...?!

Twilight: Wait, this one of Wild's pranks? Is he in that bush with his Sheikah Slate?

Four: [deadpan] Here's a list of ten efficient ways to dispose of a body.

Four: [very deadpan] It was my best self study project when I was a kid.

Four: [we all know this is Vio talking] The example body wasn't human, but that can't be too different.

Sky: [disturbed] ...No you can have it back. That question was just...

Warriors: [dutiful in improving his craft] Great can I have it?

Sky: Ok this is the last hypothetical! Between Wind's magic box thought experiment, Four's out of context question and this?! We're clearly really bad at these.

Twilight: Not sure what kind of responses you were expecting with that one to be honest.

Sky: ...You're right this one's on me.

Wild coughed in that first one because with the restoration of his Hyrule ground in Hyrule field is being built on and, well, they are unearthing a lot of 100 year old skeletons. Not exactly hiding bodies, but...

Id say either Wild or Wars!

Both have very busy lives, one is a high ranking soldier who is likely the right hand man to the queen and the other is helping rebuild a destroyed kingdom with the princess, and arent likely to have the time or knowledge on how to raise a baby!

I will say, I think wars is the more 'i dont have a lover yet!' part, as his time would be more of where you see people pushing for that norm (Ie, no single parents aka single parents cant raise well adjusted kids).

But Wild, he lives in a time where its likely that kids dont always have both parents! And while he is an insecure fella, i doubt he'll worry about the partner part!

Wild has cooking note's and eating habits about the Link's.

In his sheikah slate is a hole cooking book that Purah made for him. He has a page for each of the Link's. What their favorite dish is, dishes he learned from their time, dislikes, allergic's, diets, etc.

-Twilight

Needs at least a meat dish two times a week. Make him some tried meat for on the go. His meat can stay a bit bloody. (has probably something to do with him being a wolf.)

-Legend

Vegetarian diet. No meat. No sweet stuff? Fruit cake is okay. Fruit salat is also okay. Likes rise, make rise dishes for him.

-Sky

He eats birds. Guess it makes sense when that is the only meat you have available. Also loves pumpkins. Try to only give him light dishes.

-Wind

Loves the bread I make. Loves pig meat. Watch out when making biscuits, his hands are quick and his mouth even quicker. Can't handle fruits well...Most vegetables are fine. He can handle milk. update: will also try to steal fruit or food from others.

-Time

Loves fruit and vegetables but will eat meat. Loves milk....is lactose intolerant. Why are you like this old man? update: keep the milk away from the old man at all costs.

-Warriors

Heavy eater. can't stand the sight of pudding anymore. Fish pie is alright. LOVES fruit cake. Note: don't let the captain know when I make cakes or meat dishes. Update: keep him way from the fruits. especially the beeri-

-Hyrule

HE NEEDS TO EAT MORE! update: he needs to learn to eat more...slow start, not to much at the start. Likes Beeries and sweet stuff. Also not to much. Note: always show him what for ingredients are used.

-Four

Loves sweets update: doesn't love sweets... Update: doesn't like spicy update: likes spicy.. Update: light food update: heavy food update: I'll just ask him what he wants. Loves sweets. Same rules as for Wind. Also loves spicy and strong cooks food.Not a picky eater.

Not a picky eater. Update: doesn't like sweet things. doesn't like spicy. Light food. doesn't eat a lot. Update: make sure that someone is sitting on his book so he can eat. UPDATE: NO SITTING ON HIS BOOK! JUST GIVE IT TO BLUE OR GREEN! update:...give the book to Red. No problem with him having it. Why Red, he doesn't seem that scary? Update: Red is scary. Loves apples.

Likes vegetables. likes balanced dishes. Neat freak, always give him utensils. doesn't like cool food. Likes to eat something after sparing. Loves carrots. Update: when he is stressed give him warm milk with honey to relax.

A new headcannon for Legend:

His tunic is too big for him.

If you take a look at this artwork by Jojo, that much is obvious. The skirt is wide, long, baggy, and just doesn't fit his figure the way Twilights or Sky's does.

And it's not just about style (like Wars or Winds) it's because he was, and still is, just too small. All the tunics he would find were too big, meant for "hero sized" people, not a little boy who was thrown into this life so unexpectedly. He tailored his tunic to fit properly around his waist and shortened the sleeves (along with whatever else he had to do to keep it from falling off or getting in the way) but it's still clear just how small he is

Legend (A link to the past, Link’s awakening, oracle ages & seasons, A link between worlds). Other nicknames: The veteran, grumpy pants, Mr. Hero, Hylia’s bastard, Zelda’s Twin.

Hero’s title: Hero of the past, Hero of Koholint, Hero of the Oracles, Hero of Holodrum, Hero of Labrynna, Hero of Lorule.

God that has claim over his soul: Hylia

History:

The first adventure was a Link to the past, after defeating Ganon it was revealed to Link that he was not only Zelda’s twin but the biological child of Hylia, the golden goddess. Link didn’t want to believe it so he hopped on a ship and left, leading him to koholint. The wind fish picked Legend for his divine blood to help wake him.

Both saving the orcales came from Link not wanting to be home, however after the second one he was convinced bad stuff would happen where he went so he opted to go home and retire.

Later, hyrule was attacked leaving Link alone to rescue it. He also meets a mysterious merchant called Ravio who basically becomes his roommate. It’s revealed Ravio and his sister, Hilda are Link and Zelda counterparts with their mother being a goddess, the Lorule version of Hylia. The humans of that world wanted to get rid of their triforce, basically destroying and corrupting the gods that once protected them.

Link uses the triforce and wishes for their triforce back, saving Lorule. Originally they destroyed their ability to travel between worlds. However, both Link and Ravio wishing for the other plus their demigod blood allows Ravio to travel back to Hyrule. Link tried to avoid doing another big adventure after that, just helping people like you should before he ripped away to LU. 

Death: Unknown….

Interest stuff/Headcanons:

Being a demigod is stained on Legend’s body, mostly by his hair which will flow like water when magic is used or high emotions, or faint tattoos that cover his face and body.

All gods have those tattoos when posing as humans, hence why their children have them. However, most are so faint, only about a shade lighter than their skin tone that they are unnoticeable unless in the right light. But they glow when their natural magic is used.

Because of this, Legend refuses to use any of his natural magic, often relying on magical items and jewelry, playing himself off as a lucky adventurer.

He loves jewelry also because of how shiny it is.

The mermaid tail he can get was because of his mother, as one of her domains is water.

Because of the Mermaid tail thing, he can’t really wear pants sense there's a risk of them being destroyed if he hits water.

Legend despises being Hylia’s son and technically a prince, especially since most see male children of the royal family as a curse waiting to happen.

Legend really loved Koholint, he wasn’t a demigod, he didn’t have any weird powers or random quest. It was so bad that if it wasn’t for his mother’s blessing he likely would have drowned.

The only reason Legend woke the Windfish and broke the pocket realm that he came to love was because of Marin.

Koholint was a pocket realm, populated by people that was close enough to the Windfish resting place. Legend doesn’t know this and spent his next couple of adventures looking for Marin, as he physically had some items given to him by her.

Because of Marin he actually uses what little magic leaks out around him and grows the flowers she kept in her hair, always keeping one on him. 

You can follow Legend’s path with ease as the flowers mark where he has rested.

He can play any instrument you hand him.

Legend form in dark areas, a pink rabbit, because rabbits are one his mother animals. He despises this of course.

Legend normally is very untrusting after his first two adventures, however something about Ravio made the hero trust him.

Ravio looks exactly like him, same weird faint markings, same face, same body. It’s just the colors that are wrong.

Legend keeps everything from his adventures with the mentality of ‘I rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.’

Because of his mother, Legend picks up on languages and puzzles very easily. It only takes him about a week in a new area before he can speak and read it.

Despite having the Triforce of Courage, Legend’s counterpart Ravio, actually has the Lorule Triforce of Wisdom.

All his adventures have him plagued by nightmares; Legend has to use a bit of magic to get a restful sleep.  

He’s good at finding maps and keys, as well as places to eat.

While it’s really hard to poison him, he can still taste the food. So could he eat rotten food, yes, will he? no.

Legend has joint pain, mainly from refusing to use his magic to heal wounds and waiting until he had potion or fairies, the time left its mark.

He has a soft spot for rabbits and seagulls. 

Legend is the one who gave Hyrule his first sword. After his death is spirit remained trying to save Hyrule, and ending up looking after the hero as a merchant.

I love how you have Warriors, an incredibly intelligent strategist and well respected captain in the army, Twilight, who is incredibly fierce, strong and loyal and an absolute force to be reckoned with, and Sky, the man who killed the demon king with his bare fucking hands at seventeen years old, who’s arguably the best swordsman in the entire chain and most likely the father of the royal bloodline, and you have these three incredibly powerful heroes who you’d THINK together would be some kind of powerhouse who could take down anything they put their minds to, but the reality is when you stick em in a room together they become the gods’s biggest morons and can’t accomplish shit
