i've been reading up on the Linden mews for a while now, through all the ups and downs... and downs... and even further downs with this poor, emotionally tormented family-- especially Randy. he's just such a human character, the way he aches and expresses, you just feel for him, like a real person and not just a fictional character. i want to see him overcome his anguish in every possible way, coming to terms with himself and who he is. that's what birthed this piece here! so cathartic to see him 'reborn' after all the trauma, finally feel really and truly like himself. new design is gorgeous, of course! but i personally can't wait to see all that his new self brings < 3

Finally, it can be said. Monique and Midas Linden have arrived.

A lot of you all caught the "little oneS" a couple comics ago. The Lindens were all too close to sleep to notice--Even Akoya didn't remember that she said it.

Momo isn't a surprise for reasons, but Midas is something that might need an explanation.

His design was very generously gifted to me from @mewtales at Christmas time (I gave it a few tweaks, which Moddy found acceptable). The colors on him made me think "He'd be a perfect child to Randy and Akoya!" Back then, Akoya wasn't ready to have any kids yet, so I also thought of bringing him in earlier as an outside Mew, but I ended up sitting on it so long, now he's their son. :)

When I accidentally created Momo, I started drawing them together, and the sibling energy was so strong, which soon turned into twin energy, and I HAD to do it!

The reason I chose today for them to be born is because I got my cat Luna on February 29th, 2020, so this time of year is special to me. Unfortunately they couldn't be born the same day exactly, but I thought since things lined up, I'd get as close as I could. (It's probably better to have your birthday on a day that exists every year, anyway.)

Ngl, with how will 'Two and Lav's pallets work together, I kina ship em now. They just fit so well. Plus they look about the same age and the idea of, what appears to be, a really reserved 'Two being initially 'friendship adopted' by Lav just works. I doubt ya'll would do anything like that but I'll dream

It is a pretty cute idea! They are very sweet together and the colours are 11/10 side by side X3! The most I could see is them as friends and getting up to all sorts of shenanigans though!! I’ve never seen the Mewtwo in general having a mate, on a personal level, as he seemed to have other priorities to a very young me ;3! But if I had to give him a partner, I’d go with a similar, but altered dynamic as I like two level headed mewtwos butting heads more, with the one being outgoing and the other being more reserved!

TW Death and Mentions of Death

SPOILERS FOR NEWEST LINDENS STORY PART

I saw the latest part with Randy’s death and doodled some stuff of it while in class (except them all as mews/mewtwos cause I suck at drawing humans) :3
