Mr Barleycorn’s ears and nose stood upright with affront. “You ask me to do what?” “It’ll only be for a few hours,” the Captain said. “We need some alone time, and there’s no one else aboard the train equipped to look after curator pups. Trust me. We asked the Devil once, and it was almost a Tragedy. Not for the pups, mind you, for the Devil.”
The Chiropterous Hoarder and the Captain need a pupsitter, and they have a certain someone in mind. Plenty of baby bat shenanigans ensue.
