Hanukkah Day 8: Caroling

Offhand I mentioned something to Raz about how we're an interfaith household now that Ered moved in, and things have been a little weird around the holiday season. The little guy gathered up his friends to surprise us with some caroling! It was a sweet gesture. Anything that makes my daughter feel comfortable and at home is a huge win for me!

It was a little awkward how every time they sang "Christmas" they had to force in "and Hanukkah" but it's still a wonderful gesture.

Series Summary: After Tyler’s last ride, he’s been lying around the house. His parents decide he needs a summer job. Lucky for him the owner of the town rodeo needs a new farm hand. But just when he thought it couldn’t no hotter the farmer’s daughter comes home from Aggie Land. Will they have a sweet summer lovin’ or will the break up in a small town

A/N: So this is a short one, cause I felt the way it ended was just too good to try and keep it going. Also can I just point out that the collages and faceclaims post I made got more likes than the prologue (Which I will link). And I am planning on making a master list, but I don’t feel like trying to do that on my iPad. I am working on Chapter 2, but school just started so let’s see how long it takes me to get this shit done.

Heath and Lily noticed their son's attitude to work had changed. He seemed happy to go to work, even wearing slightly nicer clothes. Lily knew why almost immediately what was going on, a mom thing. Heath, typical man, paid no attention to the subtle changes in his son’s behavior.

Shania saw the way her daughter would “subtly” look out the window. Whenever she was helping her ma in the kitchen, Grace’s eyes would wander outside. And just like Lily she knew what was going on with her eldest child.

Tyler started to show up to work earlier and take whatever work that forced him to stay later. All in hopes to see her. Her playing with her adorable dog outside. Her watering her Ma’s garden. Her sitting on the porch curled up in the hammock, reading. Sweet Grace.

Grace started to spend more time outside, both for the sunshine and for him. To see him. Working on one of the tractors with her dad. Sitting on the bed of his truck, eating his lunch. Carrying hay from the barn to the ranger.

She has asked Maverick who he was, playing it off as someone she has never seen around the farm. Maverick told Grace about the best bull rider in the county, who got in an accident at the peak of his career. And that was all she knew about him. But she wanted to know more. For some reason she felt pulled towards him. Tyler the bull rider.
