Aggressively Arospec Week 2024, Day 1: Lilith

Starting off the week with a canonically aromantic character!

I actually started to headcanon her as aroace before she was canonically confirmed to be, so when it was confirmed, I got to feel the double joy of 1) there being a canonically aroace character in my current favorite show and 2) my headcanon being confirmed canon.

The only issue I have is that I wish it was confirmed in the actual show itself, at least in a brief comment, like her saying she doesn't get romance/it's not her thing, or an aroace flag somewhere on her or her belongings.

Hey has anyone ask how Lily and Lilith get along?

Mostly because of the similar names (also I guess Lily does like Eda)

I don’t remember if someone has.

Considering Lily writes about her adventures in Amphibia and wants to know everything about where she’s been, I could see her and Lilith having an okay relationship. Similar to Dr Jan, Lily would be interested in whatever a museum curator has to say (within reason. She’s not about to listen to a lecture about Deadwardian balestors)

As for Eda, she’d enjoy the more adventurous of the Clawthorne sisters. Eda has a lot of stories (some not being age appropriate and so saves those for later) that Lily would hang on Eda’s every word. Most if not all of said stories, Azura have already heard dozens of times and rolls her eyes at Lily’s face as she listens on completely enraptured in the tale of the infamous Owl Lady.

You know, of all the characters I assumed would be on Orchard’s shit list, I REALLY hedged my bet on it being Lilith. Her redemption is admittedly pretty flimsy, and given how Orchard criticizes any character less than perfect it surprises me that Hunter of all characters is considered Orchard’s most hated.

Lilith isn't an angsty white boy, that's why.
