Okay so I did end up getting some spoilers for the next two episodes but it’s fine, at least there are only a few episodes out. What I’m really interested in seeing is how Sol is going to get to use her “limitation” in her favor. Because come on! That’s basically a superpower. I predict she’ll have to use it in a tense moment and have to yell things about the future in order to buy herself time to save Sun Jae (or even herself!). For a little extra angst, maybe she’ll start running out of things to say and accidentally say something that’s already happened, restarting the clock.

IM SCREAMING RIGHT NOW

OKAY- so im watching pd ( i just finished the last episode of season one i know im a little behind lol) and i was reading comments and i saw someone say (of course i cant find it now) that they liked that over time the logo at the start got progressively more cracked as the boys went through harder stuff. first of all I AM SO MAD I DIDNT COMPREHEND THIS AT FIRST like yeah i noticed it got more cracked but it didn’t even register that it was on purpose😭😭 but this is SO COOL OH MY GOD- i have screenshots of some of the episodes so yall can see what i mean . im going to put what episode there from under them.. my mind is blown and yall need to see this

2024 TF Reverse Mini Bang Memories Part 1

With the @tf-bigbang discord server closing today, I thought I'd share just a few of my favorite memories during my first community fandom event :)

Not to be dramatic, but this event changed the trajectory of my part in the transformers community for the better. It felt like I was at a 4 month long summer camp! I had so much fun talking to everyone and making so many precious, precious friends that I truly hope to stay in touch with.

So buckle in and grab some boba or your preferred drink of choice, because this is going to be long and sentimental.

A Welcoming Start

I joined at the beginning of April, due to someone reposting the Big Bang's twitter post about how writers were still welcome to join. I thought, "Only 5k word requirement over the course of a few months? Yeah sure. I can do that." Little did I know I'd actually committed to writing a fic almost 5 times that length

The vibes in the discord server started out with a bang (heh). Everyone was immediately kind and welcoming to one another. It was an immediate safe space to be excited, let loose and show our freak XD I loved how ferally affectionate we were with bringing new friends into the fold.

The Support and Love Shared

The sheer amount of love, comradery, and support shared with one another was astounding. Almost 200 writers and artists shared tips and tricks and offered advice and encouragement to each other! It was unreal and I learned so much. It truly encouraged me to improve in my craft and even inspired me to want to learn how to draw again!

Oh, and the RECS everyone shared!!! Everyone shared so many fics and art pieces that I am now obsessed with! I have been blessed with a LOT of quality, amazing content that I never would have seen otherwise! My tbr list grew from large to neverending haha <3

Teasing the Artists Before Match Ups

I'm ngl, I had WAY too much fun once the sketches were released to the writers and the secret-authors-corner channel was made. We all OBSESSED over all of the art and fangirled over each one! But we also talked, and talked, and talked. And dropping out of context messages into the public channels for the artists to see was too much fun!

Talking Transformers

IT WAS THE BEST THING EVEERRRRRR!!!!! WOWOWOWOWOW! I loved raving about characters and lore, both canon and fanon! Even when I wasn't a part of the conversation, just lurking and reading what people talked about whether it was AUs, comics, shows, character breakdowns, brainstorming ideas...it was all so cool and so fun. Everyone is so creative and thinking about the sheer amount of fun we all had makes me tear up.

Like, SO MANY plot bunnies were made with everyone! Myself included! Sometimes people would just say a random ass thing and then five others would hop on, riffing against each other and developing that little idea into something concrete and so so JUICY.

Two out of many MANY conversations that I personally loved were the video games x transformers ideas and talking tentacles and transformers in the nsfw channel XD

Writers Panicking, As We Do

It was all in fun, but it was very entertaining and validating to be in a space where we can all stress about our writing, our fics, and approaching deadlines.

The mods clearly enjoyed adding endless fuel to the fire and (lovingly) watched us all scream and run around in a fiery chaotic panic over every little thing.

Streaming

I didn't get to join many, but it was always so cool watching artists draw! I also had a lot of fun streaming Hades 2 with a few friends with it was first released :)

The sad end to the story is...the Team 0's fic wasn't completed within the time requirements to be posted with the rest of the Mini Bang's fics :( Do we still plan on continuing and finishing it? HELL YEAH WE ARE!

Watched episode 375 of shippuden. I am losing my MIND!!!!!!!!

The kakashi vs obito fight was so fucking good. SO fucking good. So beautifully animated, wonderful fight choreography (I've been fed up with the endless OP ninja magic battles, so some good old taijutsu was SO good), AND interspersed with clips of them sparring as kids just to really drive home how sad this all is. SO cool, bur SO sad. I watched the scene like 3 times in full and kept rewatching key bits of fight choreo (my favorite is when the kunai is knocked into the air, then kakashi flips to kick it with his heel into another attack. SO!!!!! fucking COOL!!!!!!) I probably will end up rewatching it even more later too bc wow. Wowowowowow I'm losing my MIND it's so good

AND!!!! BACK TO THE BIG BATTLE!!!!! Minato teleporting in bc he had Obito marked from all the way back when Naruto was born!!! Minato attacking him, dealing (what should've been) a killing blow. But as he does it, he realizes this is *Obito*, which Holy Shit. Madara is unfairly attractive in a lot of this hfkshfks his faces during all this were. Well. He is an Uchiha. 😂

Then Plot Twist, obito is becoming the ten tails jinchuuriki (which is a little weird. I figured the process would require a lot more Uhhh fine tuned sealing and such, but nope he's just doing it. Okay) lots going on, also Where's Kakashi?!?!? In the alternate dimension still I guess but also COME ON OUT KAKASHI!!! YOURE MISSING A LOT!!!!! I want Minato to see Kakashi too before he has to go back into the ether 🥺 pspspsp come on out kakashi you've got a stab wound anyways. Why don't you let sakura look at that.

Anyways yet again, just one episode but it was a fucking BIG ONE. And then the next episode preview being for a filler episode hfkshfmsjx I'll probably still watch it tho bc it looks funny. Might as well check it out!!!!

TBHK Favorite Character Tier List

hello i did a TBHK favorite character tier list and I will explain the stuff i feel like explaining / might be interesting or relevant to know

oh and each section is, left to right, the characters i like most to least, but these change and shift with pretty much every chapter we see them in so ashdasndn

tsuchigomori is my favorite character and i like him more than hanako and nene, but i like hanako and nene more than i like the other characters in the S tier which is why the formatting is u know

"s but" is basically i think the characters are s tier / i enjoy them enough for them to be s tier but they've done things that bother me and i feel a bit morally weird not acknowledging that when i say that i like them (in virtually any context) -- ig it's kinda funny to say this while tsukasa is fully in S tier and not "s but" but we dont need to acknowledge that

(i am opposed to a lot of what tsukasa has done but i kinda forgor about that so u can pretend he's in s but if u want)

i think most of the reason i like lemon is related to my fren really liking lemon bc i think otherwise id just be like thats a guy but aesthetically he's cool and stuff i hope he's not the secret biggest evil villain of the manga/show or smthn ashdsnadn

i hated teru passionately for most of the manga and its only in the last like maybe 15-20? chapters we've had that i've started to like him more and think he was silly. i wish that he would not hate supernaturals so much but he kinda grew up being forced to and stuff. i am sure with enough time he will learn that supernaturals can be nice... they wouldn't have him be so silly if he wasn't supposed to learn stuff right????

tsukasa is silly and the lore stuff is pretty cool, i think it is neat that he is a villain that u r kinda supposed to sorta? ? be sympathetic towards but also is very obviously not doing great things. tbh i think that's most characters in the whole manga and some of them are treated way less like villains so i dont think tsukasa is that morally bad by comparison adhasndsad

kou is kou he's based and stuff and he seems to respect ppls boundaries and things , but we've been seeing more of his flaws lately which is interesting and cool, uhhh yeah i dont have much to say about him tbh

black canyon is cute. sue me

i also hated natsuhiko for like most of the series but i've started to like him recently because he's silly and even tho he's a bit weird about sakura sometimes he actually like. respects her boundaries as far as i can tell. very different to akane who is just weird

mitsuba is good, i do kinda want to know more about his intentions/the extent of bad he could potentially do, but for now i think A is an ok spot for him

i think the tier list maker thought that the baby twin was tsukasa but it is actually amane so this ranking is amane. amane babby is in a tier, uhhh he seemed pretty based and cool, it is sad that he dieded

i am scared that sakura is like very very evil so i dont rlly want to put her higher than an A but vibe wise she's pretty cool . it's weird that she seems to have set a lot of this in motion.

the mokke are prooooooooooooobably overrated i think they are cute but i dont super super duper love them or anything

i like yokoo a bit more than satou but they are both cool together, i think i would like them both less when they are separated from one another because i think most of what i like is their dynamic

the guy obsessed with civets is funny

tiara is funny and i like her and want to see more about her but we havent seen enough of her for me to be like WOWOWOWOWOW u know???

the entire arc with shijima and the fake world and stuff was crazy and i think i have trauma from that so maybe if we see substantially more of shijima i'll be able to stop associating her with that thing i super hate but as a character she doesnt seem horrible or anything

i used to like aoi a lot more but im getting the feeling she's super evil and alt-universe aoi hitting teru and belittling him was crazy i cant look at her the same after that i think

skipping ahead to yako uhhhh her design and vibed r cool i guess but the teacher thing is rlllllllllllllly weird. its cool that she seems to be kinda friends with tsuchigomori tho but she better not start bein super weird to him or smthn (especially cause he's a teacher.) i think i would die

skipping to ewww i hate them section; this is in order of most hated to least hated. hakubo. i hate him and THE SCENE was gross. actually pretty much all scenes with him and sumire are gross if not all

if nothing regarding aoi existed as part of akane's character he would probably be B or even A tier but he's so weird about aoi and it makes me very uncomfortable. also the thing where he was weird to nene. the only thing that salvages him at all is his dynamic with teru which is why i support shipping them. i originally started shipping them bc teru and akane were my most hated / "these are the most gross/evil" characters and i was making silly jokes about them getting together so that aoi and all the supernaturals would be left alone ashsandsdna but then i actually started bein like hey wait a minute anyway, in any context other than terukane, i am a severe akane hater

the other ones i dont rlly care enough to like explain my thoughts on them ashdsandndsa they are not passionate emotions, at least compared to hakubo and akane

Lance:

WOWOWOWOWOW so many emotions happening right now. After I read that chapter I was so giddy and then also horny?!! WHEW dude you blew my mind with this chapter. Jongho is usually a top bias for me in ATEEZ and there is not enough appreciation for this man and his handsomeness and hotness. I love love LOVE how much love MC was giving him and reassuring him too! God and the biting and sharing blood YEEEESSSSS PLEASE. SIGN. ME. UP.

and the chapter you just posted SO MANY FEELS. MC is really coming into her own by being able to handle high stress situations and keeping her cool for the most part. When it comes to the baby it’s gonna be difficult for her to think rationally.

I just know poor Jongho was too out of it to realize what he was saying/ how it sounded ESPECIALLY when he was literally reaching for her!!! Unless that was all part of the plan with the spell that was casted 👀…. and all the boys trying so desperately to reassure MC :(

If you were in Stranger Things, what would your style be, how did you get involved in The Upside Down, and what's your weapon of choice?

Oh god, okay if I was in Stranger things my style would probably be something super feminine I think. I’d want to be one of those cool girlies who dressed like robin but would never have the balls to do it so it would probably look something like this. 

I’m a slut for a good stripe, and I also love rainbows so I’d probably be one of those super colorful artsy looking bitches with a thousand clips in her hair and something sparkly dangling from my backpack for sure.

How I got involved.

I think it would be purely by accident. I would have ended up being friends with Robin somehow, maybe sharing a class with her, something mandatory so it wasn’t a higher level class (cause ya girl is smart but not THAT smart)

(OR I’d be friends with Eddie somehow, because my ass was friends/friendly with everyone when I was in high school so we’d have exchanged a few words, and I feel like I’d be fascinated with the hellfire club but too shy to join, or ask about it)

I’d miss the bus one day and Robin would offer to get Steve to drive me home, and while on route someone from somewhere would crackle across the walkie talkie Steve keeps in his car and they’d have to drag me along with them because there wouldn’t be enough time to drop me off at home and get to where they needed to be without risking someone’s life.

Weapon of choice.

I’d love to say something cool, like Steve’s baseball bat, but it would probably be like a small knife of some sort. Something easy for me to carry and keep hidden if I needed to, I’m quite small, and short so I feel like I’d be sneaking around a lot because ya girl has no arm strength so a tiny little stab stab is where its at. Although I probably would accidentally hurt myself somehow, because I’m clumsy as hell. I’d be that bitch to step on one of vecnas vine things in the upside down and give away our location.

saturday - sunday

wowowowowow!!!!!

i love guitar wolf and i also love life!!!!!!!!

today was really good, the bands that opened for guitar wolf were all basically good, one had songs that would go on too long, one was like, they do not work recorded but the guitarist/singer is so insane live (schizo-phonics) that they're incredible to me.

i'll talk about that now i guess, he was just like, thrashing so violently, doing the splits, staggering around the stage, hitting his guitar and playing with one hand while singing, jumping onto the barricade, sliding all over, falling, screaming, and the music was like, really basic garage rock blues scale stuff which honestly added to the general insanity of it, there was one song that was pretty good but i have no idea what it'd be called. just an insane thing to see, the guy was so destructive to his own body, and his own body was like, or is like, this basal thing he is so reminiscent of bataille's essay about the big toe, the places where the body admits its fall, against the upright-ness that develops, as we become as trees or heavenly. the point of non-transcendence, the pin in the side that makes it impossible. this is a liberating thing, though, to acknowledge that, run with it. very very incredible ways to move your body, to me. and the way he played guitar really was violent to the thing, just like, punching it, tapping on the strings with one hand, violent windmilling of it, the acrobatics were psychotic and it looked like he wasn't even playing the guitar but i know he was. he looks like this guy i know who runs a bookstore in downtown, like, very similar, which is super funny.

but anyways, before getting to guitar wolf (is there even much to say? they were loud and incredible, one of the best concert experiences i've ever had, like melt banana and machine girl in ways, and in ways different (i like that they antagonized the venue with their encore antics)). the rest of the day was crazy!!!!!!!! for some reason a bunch of people in downtown were getting married today, so many gowns out and about and stuff. like wow, how weird.

but also like, while walking around downtown, we saw guitar wolf!!

we got to take pics with them (which i am sure i look terrible in...) and that'll appear on their instagram at some point i suppose. but that's so crazy. they're so nice, all of them. the bassist, gotz, especially, we saw him after the show and he was very kind, we got one of the setlists and he signed it, he took pics with my gf, he shook my hand, he liked that she spoke japanese to him. he was so genuine, taking pictures with everyone, talking to them, just really sincere. seiji was backstage, but he was also lovely to everyone, and meeting him in front of the mantis was nice. he was so cool, all the feedbacking, the final encore bit was he went out alone and did a solo song, just so much fucked up playing, singing about love. and it really almost made me cry, it felt like real love, not just like, because it was messy, but its volume, inconstant in form and meter but this does not mean it is not there, only constantly ambling, it is a limping song, but powerful, so odd and sweet he is.

but that's really not all!!!

we also got to hang out with friends before the show, they didn't go to the show with us but they were hanging out. we got lunch with them and hung out for a while after, just killing time, and there's this new thing in downtown also they're doing, nic pizzolatto, the guy who did most of true detective re:writing and some directing, is doing a movie, and apparently it's got vince vaughn and al pacino in it, and we saw them working on that, not the actors but we saw like, the director seat, we got kicked out of a bar because of the filming. so funny and stupid... they also stuck up new signs out in parts of downtown, fake bs for the movie. with all the weddings and the supposed presence of vince vaughn, i kept making elaborate wedding crashers jokes. like he's going to begin crashing the weddings by killing everyone, things like that.

we also got to see our other friend who works at that bookstore i mentioned farther up, my gf thought maybe she was mad at her (semi long story about a birthday dinner thing she tried to do for my gf going poorly recently) but really they both were anxious on behalf of the other more than anything to do with actual resentments. and i love seeing her so i am glad i will continue to do so.

when our friend had to leave a few hours before doors opened to the venue, we kind of had to kill time, so we just sat outside for a while, loitered in a little zone where there were people taking photos after getting married, a party for people who got married, and then like, closed businesses (for the day not shuttered), and then we walked to the mantis again, saw a bunch of tourists staring which is always funny, and then went over to the venue.

the crowd was a lot of older people, which is fun(ny), they were all super respectful and kind, which is also nice. just a good environment, everyone was receptive to everything it felt like.

a very nice night. one thing that sucks, i broke the door handle off the fridge. this place is really ... sucky. in lots of ways. i hate a lot of the appliances and things. but you know. at least i have this stuff at all i suppose...................................................................

i also just worked on one song, more than i thought i would, so very happy with that. i also worked out today, but i expected not to. i'm still on my 6-5 days a week working out and then 1-2 days of break. this week i am gonna do 2 days of break, sunday i'll be off of working out. very happy with the effects of working out, hoping they get more pronounced as welll..............................!
