#Leo teleported them both through an open portal

I like to think that Leo one day decides to really play around with his portaling and teleportation abilities and see the full extent of them.
Like - continuously throwing one sword and teleporting to it while throwing the next one immediately and repeating this as long as he can to see how far he can keep it up without stopping.
Making little portals in the air that lead right up against the ground so he could potentially just stand on the portal in the middle of the sky.
Ultimate storage system - anything anywhere at any time is available if he knows where to get it (personally my headcanon for why he goes from two satchels to one in the movie.)
Phasing to avoid attacks - like, he could lightly toss a sword a single centimeter and teleport to it, and in that short amount of time he can completely avoid hits.
If they ever do go to space and end up on different planets, with enough training he can just…go there, whenever. Not only would this be great for being well traveled and having more places to go in general, but this also opens up more room for connections and allies that could assist them the next time they need help against a grand foe.
Leo can easily remove injured team members from a fight and get them help without having to account for transportation times.
On that note - Leo’s teleportation in particular acts on a particle level. It’s quite literally breaking him down into particles and remaking him every time he uses it. Both for him and for anyone he uses it on. Who’s to say it can’t be used for healing? At least for basic wounds.
None of this even touches upon the offensive potential of both portals and teleportation. Leo’s abilities flourish more as a support main, but that doesn’t mean those abilities can’t easily be used as weapons - and I don’t think I need to get into how exactly they can be. Portal chopping alone can take on a very different meaning…
Furthermore, I gotta wonder if he’ll always need the swords for this, or if he could one day be able to achieve the same results without them.
My point being - teleportation and portals are super OP. Even with the abilities Leo has in present they are so unbelievably adaptable and so fun to think about in terms of basic mechanics.
#rottmnt#rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles#rottmnt leo#rottmnt headcanons#rise leo#I LOVE teleportation and portals and it’s one of the things that instantly latched me onto Leo#man I didn’t even touch upon how cool the potential for combining the bros abilities would be#that would be another post entirely#but yeah portals and teleportation#ESPECIALLY teleportation are so crazily adaptive and can be used for an insane amount of things if applied correctly#all the boys’ abilities laugh in the face of physics and reality#now I’m wondering if teleporting with someone else and THEN going through a portal WHILE TELEPORTING would mess with both of them#like…the Krang right?#Leo teleported them both through an open portal#wonder how that could mess with them on a particle level hmmmm especially considering the place the Prison Dimension is HMMMM#EDIT: YEAH SOMEONE ELSE MENTIONED IT#but yeah them being hesitant to rely too much on these abilities in battle after the Krang makes sense#BUT#out of battle…now we’re talking#ngl out of battle mystics can be even more fun because they’re just pushing themselves and not being life and death about it#okay I’m gonna go further but consider the potential for transporting massive objects like VEHICLES too#like he could teleport the whole turtle tank or more in that case#and just think of the potential for space travel that could have#okay I’m stopping now#ACTUALLY NO IM NOT#consider Leo being able to stay in the in between of a portal#making it a little space he can access and stay in if he needs a moment alone#the dangers that could amount from it too tho like#godddd the possibilities#I don’t have enough tags to ramble as much as I want to :(

Aqua Marine - Part 1
The Foot Clan completed the Dark Armor and released The Shredder, now the Mad Dogs were looking for a way to stop him. Splinter and Leo went to Big Mama's hotel to try and get an artifact to help seal The Shredder.
Leo had a plan. An amazing plan, it had no way to fail, he'd get the collar and show his brothers his plans worked if they give him the time!
That's the thing.
Leo always came up with brilliant plans, sure, they sounded… Doubtful at first, but if Donnie thought 2 steps ahead, Leo thought 3! The problem was, they never let his plans come to an end, they thought they were dumb and doomed to fail.
—"No Leo, we can't rent a Toucan for your plan."
—"No Leo, we won't dance the Macarena for your plan."
—"Stop goofing around!"
—"You never take this seriously."
Leo was done with that. He'd show them!
.
.
.
—"What have you done, Blue?!"— Splinter yelled to his son.
—"This is my plan, trust me."— Leo said with his usual charm.
—"No. This isn't a plan, this is just a bunch of little problems made into one big problem and it's because of you!"— His father was angry, but not normal angry, angry angry.
—"Dad. You need to trust my plan, or it won't work."— Leo tried to convince him with a more serious tone.
—"It won't work anyways! You made me fight against 6 buff guys with pointy helmets and a giant Kraken AT THE SAME TIME. Did I mention without weapons?! What were you thinking?!"
—"Dad. I-"
—"No. I've had enough of you, I knew I should've brought Purple, he would’ve taken this seriously."
Leo opened his eyes wide, hurting.
And before he could realize, Splinter had already taken his sword and teleported away, probably after Donnie. That wasn’t good, he needed Donnie to stay with Raph and Mikey, he needed him to keep tracking down the Shredder! Ugh, why couldn't his father trust his plan?!
But he had no time to keep beating himself up, when his father and his brother appeared through one of his characteristic blue portals.
—“Salutations Nardo, seems like you could use some of *my* intelligence for your plan? He asked completely *not* surprised about it.”— He checked some stuff on his wrist pad.
Leo made fun of him by repeating what he said in a dumb voice. —“He asked completely not surprised about it- Shut up Donnie. I need you to trust my plan since dad doesn’t.”
Donnie raised an eyebrow. —“Ok, what’s your plan then?”
Leo smiled a bit, finally! He could explain his plan. —“Ok so, I made dad fight against these 6 guys *purposefully* with pointy helmets while at the same time he has to deal with the giant Kraken which is the current Battle Nexus champion!”
—“...”
—“Did I mention without weapons?”
—“...”
—“Ok, the plan begins when I-”
—“No.”
—“No? What do you mean?”— Leo chuckled nervously.
—“You lost me at the 6 guys plus a Kraken. Leo, do you- Ugh-” He grabbed his forehead. —“Do you realize why we never listen to your plans now?”
Leo’s heart sank. He didn’t want to break, not now, he had to keep trying to use his plan! Y-Yeah… —“But, you haven’t even let me explain, that’s just the introduction.”
—“And the introduction sucks! Now if you excuse me, we have to put *my* new plan into motion.”
Splinter put his hand over Leo's shoulder. —"I'm sorry my son, I know you want to help us, but this is serious, and Purple is trying to fix this whole situation."
Leo grabbed his father's hand and pulled it away without making eye contact. —"Yeah, sure."
The slider felt like crying out of sadness and screaming out of frustration. Maybe both! But apparently he had no other option but to sit down and look at how Donnie's plan developed.
—“Nardo, I need your portals over here for the plan.”— But Leo honestly didn’t wanted to help. He let out a big sigh and got up from his seat to help.
Donnie’s plan consisted on sending his tech down the arena with Leo’s portals to defeat the Evil Six, and then he’d use his drill to defeat the giant Kraken, easy peasy.
Leo was in a bad mood, doing the bare minimum to help Donnie, which pissed him off a bit, starting a classic ‘Disaster Twins’ little fight.
But they had to get serious when Splinter was tired and injured, and he still hadn’t beat up the Kraken yet.
Donnie hesitated to push his wrist device to call the drill, it was in beta, it wasn’t 100% certain that it’d work, but he had to try.
He pushed the device and the drill came out of the ground.
It wasn’t enough power, the Kraken destroyed it easily and Leo panicked.
—”Donnie, please trust me, I *have* to get down there.” —The slider exclaimed with worry taking over his voice.
—”No! You put us into this situation in the first place and now I have to clean up your mess! Like I always do.” —He mumbled the last part, but it was enough for Leo to listen.
That was it, he was going down.
But he was immobilized into the wall with web goo.
—”No, no, no turtlie-boo!” —The spider yokai showed herself from the shadows. —”Did you forget I was here? No one ignores Big Mama~”
But thanks to Leo getting captured, Donnie got time to go down and give the Kraken a big hit with his Tech-Bo turned into a giant hammer, resulting in being the new Battle Nexus’ champion.
—”What?! Two of you?! —Big Mama exclaimed. But it soon didn’t matter; the crowd was wild, yelling and cheering the new Battle Nexus champion and the fierce fight. —”Well. A deal’s a deal, you can have my wizzybang.” —She said, giving Leo the collar and going away.
Leo was quick to get free and go down to check on Splinter.
—”Dad! Dad, are you ok?!” —He asked and got a small thumbs up from his father. Leo sighed in relief and opened a portal to go back to deal with the Shredder only to find Mikey, Raph and April going insane trying to locate Shredder’s new location.
—”You’re back!” —Raph said relieved. —”What took you so long?”
Leo was about to talk, when he was interrupted by the soft shell. —”Well, Leo’s plan wasn’t exactly good, so I had to go fix it and in short, I’m the new Battle Nexus’ champion and I got the collar to seal the Shredder.”
—”GO DONNIE! GO DONNIE!” —They yelled in unison.
Ugh, Leo couldn’t believe this. Their family didn’t trust him at all, he couldn’t use his plans because they were always looked down and he didn’t even have the chance to explain himself! He was so pissed, it was impossible that they preferred Raph’s ‘no plan’ plan after his *brilliant and well thought* plans! It made no sense in his head!
Donnie’s plans were good, yeah, but he lacked the manipulation and face-man abilities to pull off something better. He only thought about statistics and logic, but people are more than that and no one understood how Leo saw that when no one else did.
—”All good Leo?” —Mikey slowly approached. He could see something was wrong.
—”Yeah fucking great.” —He took Splinter with him and walked back home.
Mikey just stood there. They’d have a Dr. Feelings family session after this.
.
.
.
After an hour, the fam was back in the lair and Leo just finished treating Splinter’s injuries in the med bay. When he got back to the living room, Raph was waiting for him with his arms crossed. Uh oh.
—”Leo. Why did you mess up the mission again?” —He questioned.
—”I didn’t!” —He got defensive immediately. —”I had a plan but mr. ‘I do everything perfectly’ ruined it!”
Raph was surprised. —”That wasn’t what Donnie told me. He told me you put pops in an impossible situation and he had to go there and help him.”
—”It was part of my plan! Why won’t you trust me? *Why do you never give me the chance?!*”—He was on the verge of tears.
Raph sighed. —”I want to. But it’s hard when your plans involve things so dumb and weird. They sound like you're trying to pull up a prank on us instead of helping us.”
Donnie, who was silently spectating the conversation alongside Raph said with a soft voice. —”We just want you to take it seriously. This wasn’t a game, papá could’ve gotten even more hurt than he did.”
The slider had the tears just there, in the corner of his eye, but he wouldn’t show that weakness to his older brothers. So he just sucked it up and walked away to his room.
—”Leo. I’m not done.” —Raph used his ‘big brother’ tone.
But he just kept walking.
—”I’m still talking to you! Leo! Come back here! UGH-!” —He hit the table close to him, startling Donnie.
.
.
.
Leo locked his room and threw himself to his bed, let out a big sigh and, after a few seconds of silence, screamed into his pillow. It was so frustrating. He had to bear this every time he had a plan. It’s always “Leo this”, “Leo that” and never “ok Leo, let’s try it.”
If they only gave him the chance. He could show them how easily he can outsmart anyone! All he asked was for a chance, and it was always taken away before it even started.
He was so done.
.
.
.
The next day arrived and Raph and Donnie were feeling pretty guilty about last night’s discussion with Leo. They were too harsh and Leo was right, they never actually gave him a chance to try one of his plans. They regretted that it had to come to this for them to realize, but they were ready to give Leo a chance.
—”Uh, Leo? Can we talk?” —Raph said knocking on the door.
—”We’re very very sorry Nardo! Two very’s!” —Donnie yelled through the door.
But no answer.
—”Leo?” —Raph softly pushed the door.
But Leo wasn’t there.

Summary of what happened today - The Timer
To start off the day, the egg quests were all in binary code, and the icons next to them were all black blocks. The code translated to "Your time is almost up".
Before the timer hit 0, it started raining and the weather became foggy and really dark.
The timer ran out and the Federation told everyone to go back to the dungeon Jaiden was sent to. Leo said that she doesn't want to go because something bad will happen so she and the other eggs were sent to the hotel. As the first people arrived to the opening of the dungeon this clip was played:
The dungeon was reset and was much harder. Many people died but no presidental lives were lost, and at the end they managed to beat it.
The buttons from the timer room were removed so they couldn't go in, but they saw that the Code Entity was in the room. After a bit, the Code dropped a book in the room and the members were let in as well. In the book the Code wrote - team 1: (2711, 2519), team 2: (3240, 2421).
The members made two teams, one of the teams were Cellbit, Roier, Max, Pac, Mike, Bad, the other team was Foolish, Jaiden, Fit, Antoine, Etoiles, Pierre.
Both teams went to their coords, where they found a black trapdoor on the ground, which was made from the same material as the train doors, and after a really long ladder ride, they found a room with a create machine and redstone. They had to connect the redstone to the machine which made train tracks. While they were doing the tasks, a train could be heard and the Federation said "The train is leaving"
Everyone tried to climb up and go to the train station, but the train left just before they got there. They chased after it and went to the very end of the tracks until they found the portals. Some people were able to go through (including Bad, Foolish, Fit and some others), and they were in the nether, but it was a closed up station, and the two trains were there. The admins tpd everyone out in front of the portal and broke it before everyone could go through.
After that, QSMP global tweeted the following picture and everyone went to spawn to talk about what happened, and it also started raining again. The event ended here and everyone went on their seperate ways.
Roier then went into the Spawn tp room to join the others at Lucky Ducks, and a black sign can be seen in front of the common warp teleport which had ":)" on it. Same thing happened to Antoine but neither of them noticed it. The sign was broken by Roier when he went back to the room again.
(A bit of a correction, the sign was already there before they event went to the dungeon but nobody seemed to notice)
Cellbit did this at the end of his stream, which was interesting. We also didn't find out why Foolish's gun was taken, but it's fine. Our boy has some tricks up his sleeve. But at the end, no eggs died, and no one lost a life.

A turtle called sensei(Rottmnt au)
Chapter 1
___________________________________________
"The world needs Master Leonardo. And all we got is this guy..."
Leo remembers these words vividly. While they weren't last Casey had spoke to him, they where most important. A much needed wake up call before the hell he would have to face.
Leo remembers the image vividly. There strongest attack, the sum of all his brothers mystic power being flicked away by krang prime. However he doesn't remember much of the fall.
All he remembered was waking up on the ground, holding Casey's mask with his brothers no where in sight. Watching the technodrome completely pass through the portal.
Leo could hardly think. He definitely had a concussion and the thought that everyone he cared about could very well be dead wasn't helping.
He may have stood there for the rest of his life had Casey's mask not began to play that grim warning.
"Sensei... The plan failed... Your brothers were-" The audio briefly cut out, leaving him unaware of his family's fate. "I've been spotted. It doesn't look like we can stop the invasion after all. But as you told us, there is still hope."
Leo could almost laugh.
"How" he thought.
He couldn't comprehend how there could still be hope after he had doomed the earth in his ignorance.
"Master Leonardo mentioned to me once a place called the hidden city. He said that if his team had gotten their in time they may have been able to close the connection to new York and evacuate civilians there. He said it could've given us a advantage against krang."
Casey had stopped talking. His breathing be came frantic and Leo though he heard the sound of running footsteps.
"Listen. If you can, find Draxum, April, and splinter. And go to the hidden city. It may be our last hope..."
Casey's message ended there. No screaming, no crying, no panic. Just a desperate attempt at saving his sensei.
Looking back on it. Leo sometimes wonders if this gave Casey a form of peace. A feeling that at least he could save his sensei the second time around.
Leo's body practically acted on auto pilot after that. He quickly found his swords as portaled over to April and splinter. He didn't listen to there frantic questions about if he was alright and where his brothers where.
He opened a Portal to the hidden city and shoved them through.
He then portaled to the school where Draxum worked. There Draxum had been gathering survivors. There was were around 300 people. Men, women, children, and teens. People who may have lost their families.
Kinda like Leo did himself.
Leo quicky shut that thought down. There was no time to think about his mistake. He quickly opened another Portal to the hidden city and yelled at everyone to go inside.
The people were already freaked out and a giant sentient turtle definitely was not helping.
However Draxum was able to convince most people to go in willingly. The rest Leo practically forced into the portal. Before stepping in himself.
Now that everyone was in the hidden city, it was time for the second part of the plan.
He practically screamed at Draxum.
"WHO RUNS THE HIDDEN CITY AND WHERE ARE THEY!?
Draxum with both confusions and terror in his voice and expression responded.
"The council... The mystic counsel runs the hidden city. The should be in the massive structure to the east."
Leo wasted no time, portalling there instantly and barging in.
"SHUT DOWN THE CONNECTION To NEW YORK!" Leo screamed at the council.
The three members of the council were inraged, demanding who he was and why he thought he could order them around.
All Leo did was show them footage from Casey's mask of the apocalypse happening above ground. The counsel was horrified but still reluctant to listen to him.
Leo however, held up his sword's and opened a Portal. And threatened to lead krang here if they didn't
The council quickly complied and shut down the connection to new York. Leo than teleported to his remaining family. But before they could say anything, Leo's injury's and fatigue caught up with him, and he passed out.
As he felt himself falling unconscious. Leo could only pray this whole thing was a horrible nightmare.
But little did he know, this was just the beginning...

The Teenage Mutant Phantom of the Opera Chapter 9, final chapter!
@daboyau
“Leo! Stop!” Usagi shouts.
The crowd watches them all in confusion, not knowing yet if this is just some weird twist to the opera.
Other actors on the stage know it’s not in the slightest.
“He kissed you! On stage!” Leo shouts back, gripping Donnie’s collar tightly.
“It was a fake stage kiss to get you down here!” Usagi insists.
Leo looks over at him with betrayal all over his face.
“You……helped him trick me? You wanted me to do this!?”
“It was the only way! I can’t just let you keep being the phantom!”
Leo’s face drops completely and he turns back towards Donnie.
“You turned him against me!”
Donnie smirks up at him.
“He knows you’re living here and about the wall! Nobody will let you stay here anymore. You’re coming home with me.”
Leo punches him, making everyone watching have collective noises of shock.
“Wherever you live is ruined by your mere presence! You destroyed everything I’ve worked towards! I hate you!”
Donnie recovers from the punch fairly easily.
“I’ve heard and gotten worse! I wasn’t asking either!” He suddenly plants his feet firmly on the ground and lifts lower half up.
Leo gets shoved forward which allows Donnie to slip out from under him.
Leo stands up and grits his teeth.
“I don’t care what you do, this ends now!”
The actors make their way off stage in a panic which clues the audience in on the fact that none of this is supposed to be happening.
All of them begin running as well.
Donnie takes out his tech bō that was folded up in his costume pocket.
“This is ending now. You’re not spending a second more away from our family.”
Usgai moves between them.
“Both of you! There’s no reason to fight! Leo, staying here alone isn’t healthy for you. You’re not well. You need to talk to more people than just me, and you need someone to take care of you! The life you’re living isn’t really living.”
Leo can’t help but be angry.
“How am I supposed to want to go with him or trust you after what you’ve done!?”
“Well, all you have to do is- THROW!” Donnie launches his tech bō at Leo.
Leo dodges at the last moment. The tech bō flies into a metallic box that starts shooting out sparks.
The sparks begin setting the wooden stage ablaze.
“Donnie, get the fire extinguisher!” Usagi warns.
Donnie rushes to grab one while Leo feels himself fill with fear. His entire body starts shaking uncontrollably.
The fire spreads way too quickly for the fire extinguisher to stop it.
They all suddenly find themselves becoming surrounded pretty fast.
Donnie panics as he looks around, abandoning the now empty fire extinguisher.
“We have to get out!”
“We don’t have a gap in the fire to get out with!” Usagi says with fear.
Leo takes a shaky breath at hearing how scared he is and tears open a portal beneath them.
The three fall through and land with a thud on the catwalk.
The fire hasn’t reached up there yet but the heat and smoke have already made its way.
Leo is on his hands and knees, unable to keep himself up anymore from sheer terror.
While his brain doesn’t hold any perceivable memories of the fire that deformed him, his body clearly does.
Donnie and Usagi cough as their lungs burn.
“Leo, you have to teleport us out of the theatre!” Donnie shouts.
“You…..you did this to me….you’ve taken everything from me….why should I even want to leave here!?” Leo tears up.
“Because your life won’t end if you leave! It’ll just be different! Probably even better! If we don’t get out, it definitely ends here!” Usagi pleads.
“How will it get better!? Nobody is going to want me! Not his family, and not you! Not after what I’ve done! I loved you and now it’s all ruined!” Leo tears up even more.
Usagi is stunned into silence.
The pictures were an indication of obsession, but he didn’t know it was love.
“Leo! It doesn’t matter! Dad, Raph, Mikey, none of them care how many people you killed!” Donnie insists.
Usagi snaps out of it.
“Wha-the phantom never killed anyone!”
“Seriously? Well, that further proves my point anyways! Yuichi isn’t going anywhere and neither am I! I did all this just to bring you back with me! You are not going to be alone! In fact, Mikey not even let you go to the bathroom alone and it might get awkward!”
Leo starts gripping his mask, wrestling with what to do.
An ember falls at his hand, making it jolt and nudging the mask off his face.
He’s too late in grabbing it.
The starry mask falls off and is consumed by the flames.
He grips his bare face instead, looking back at Usagi and Donnie.
Donnie has moved closer, trying to shield both Leo and Usagi.
Everyone’s coughing gets worse as the smoke billows around them.
Leo shuts his eyes tight and creates another portal under them all.
They wind up outside on the ground, a safe distance away from the theatre.
The three of them are wheezing from the smoke still in their lungs.
Leo’s eyes start closing.
The last thing he sees is Donnie reaching towards him as black spots take over his vision.
When he wakes up again, bright lights blind him.
He squints and attempts to lift his hand to shield his eyes but feels that something is holding it down.
Once he glances down he sees the rat there. He’s asleep on and holding his hand.
Leo desperately wants to move his hand away, but he quickly remembers that his home is gone and his secret is out.
He and his family are the only people he has since Usagi probably will never want to see him again. There’s no way Donnie was right.
Tears start dripping down his face. His body shakes slightly.
Splinter starts to stir and he blinks away sleep before his eyes widen as he sees Leo awake.
Leo moves his legs a bit, insecure knowing his mask is gone and his burn is fully on display.
Splinter’s eyes fill with tears.
His mouth opens and closes.
He’s trying to figure out what to say.
Leo waits, not wanting to be the one to speak.
Splinter finally does.
“I dreamt about what you would look like if I hadn’t failed, sometimes.”
Failed?
“I dream of you a lot. I thought about you every day. I….I wondered what you would have liked. How your personality would be. I never forgot the way….you smiled at me, reached for me. I was supposed to protect you. I know I didn’t. I will never, ever forgive myself for it. You hate me and I don’t blame you. You deserve so much more than me but I want to at least give you something. I swear on my life that I will keep you safe this time. I will make sure you have a place you can be comfortable in, and you’re always going to have someone to rely on. You don’t have to love me, or even like me, but I need you to let me take care of you.” Splinter continues, very close to just absolutely sobbing.
Leo’s starting to get blinded by tears.
There’s so many things he wants to say, to ask.
Somehow, even with all the options, he can’t figure out which one.
The harsher options are dying on his tongue when he can see that Splinter meant every word he said.
“Did you always want me?” Leo finally asks.
Splinter holds both hands over Leo’s and squeezes.
“From the moment I held you.”
Leo pulls his hand away.
Splinter’s hands stay in the air where he held it. He purses his lips as he tries to contain his heartbreak.
Leo slowly sits up and pulls him into a tight hug.
Splinter can no longer prevent his crying and sobs into Leo’s shoulder.
Leo allows tears to pour down his face.
He’s so warm, and his fur is soft, smooth.
“Y-You’re not going to change your mind? You promise?”
Splinter pulls alway to put his hands on his face.
“There’s nothing you can ever do to make me change my mind.” His thumb rubs the burn on Leo’s face.
“Even…..even with this?” Leo asks quietly,
“You’re perfect, Leo.”
Leo takes a shaky breath.
He’s perfect?
He’s perfect.
“Thank you.”
A loud and long gasp catches their attention.
Mikey is standing there, jaw dropped as he holds a bunch of vending machine snacks in his arms.
“You’re hugging without me!? No fair!”
Splinter let’s go of Leo, knowing what’s about to happen.
Leo doesn’t.
Mikey dumps the snacks onto a table and leaps into Leo’s arms.
He holds him out of reflex and is reminded of how he clung to him when they first met.
“Are….all of your sons like this?” Leo asks as Mikey starts nuzzling his cheek.
This doesn’t make his skin crawl like last time.
“Clingy? Yes. Desperate for more family? Also yes.” Splinter answers.
“This is so great! I was worried you wouldn’t come live with us after last time! You can taste my cooking and look at my art and we can watch cooking shows together and have sleepovers!” Mikey’s eyes sparkle.
“Uh….sure.” Leo says sort of awkwardly.
Mikey squeals happily and keeps holding onto him like he’s a favorite toy.
He doesn’t exactly hate the feeling.
“Donnie! Get back to bed! You need to rest still!” A voice shouts from behind the curtain.
Leo recognizes it as Raph despite only hearing his voice once.
The curtain is thrown open by Donnie who’s in a hospital gown.
His eyes scan the room from Splinter, then Mikey, then finally on Leo. A proud smirk spreads across his face.
“I knew you woke up!”
Raph looks over at Leo as well. Their eyes meet only for Leo to look away uncomfortably.
Even though Splinter said they were all enthusiastic, the last time he saw Raph he was far more cautious than both Donnie and Mikey.
Mikey sees this interaction and a playful look spreads across his face before he let’s go of Leo and hops onto the floor.
“Raph! Leo is freezing, and he told me he hasn’t eaten in days!”
Leo looks at him quizzically.
“I never said-“
Raph charges forward, grabbing the snacks from the table in one hand and an extra blanket from the cabinet.
He wraps Leo up snuggly in the blanket while also putting an arm around his shoulders.
His plastron is against Leo’s arm as he opens up a snack and places it near Leo’s mouth.
“Come on, no little brother of mine is starvin on my watch.”
Leo takes a bite of the candy in front of him as he sees he has no choice.
Raph has an incredibly comfortable arm that he leans his head against as he keeps getting fed.
Donnie crosses his arms and smiles smugly.
“You never stood a chance against being in this family.”
Leo swallows the last bite of the snack.
“Where’s….Yuichi?”
“His smoke inhalation wasn’t as bad as ours so he was able to go home. I suppose not even mutation can trump our turtle DNA’s pension for upper respiratory issues.” Donnie explains.
Leo frowns, pressing his face more against Raph’s arm.
“He’s not coming back. Not to see me.”
Donnie’s smile turns into a smirk.
“My dear brother, it’s visiting hours.”
Leo’s eyes light up.
“Is he…?”
“He texted me a few minutes ago that he was on his way here. He’s coming to see you too.”
Leo smiles.
Splinter takes Raoh and Mikey with him to give them some privacy when Usagi shows up.
“Hey, Leo. How are you feeling?”
“I’m okay. I guess I’ll be going home with Donnie after this. I….I’m sorry. I put you through a lot.” Leo looks down.
Usagi wrings his hands together.
“You did things that weren’t right. You also helped me when no one else would. This has been….a lot….and I’m going to need some time to figure it all out.”
“I….understand….”
“But….when I do, I’d like us to start over. As friends. Will that be okay with you?” Usagi asks nervously.
Leo slowly nods.
“I know I can’t expect you to return my feelings after what I did. I don’t deserve another chance, but thank you for giving me one. I hope you and Donnie will be happy together.”
Usagi and Donnie blush deeply.
Donnie makes a cut it out gesture just in time for Usagi to catch it.
“Y-You like me!?”
“Leo! He didn’t know!”
“Whoops….”
Usagi covers his face with his ears in embarrassment.
“I can’t believe I’m this oblivious! I was just really happy to have two friends!”
“And….now that you know….?” Donnie questions.
Usagi moves one ear out of the way.
“It wouldn’t be fair to you or Leo for me to give an answer right now. I think we all need time.”
Donnie sighs in relief.
“It has been somewhat exhausting experience. Don’t worry about my feelings. I want to focus on helping Leo as well.”
Usagi smiles softly at them both.
“Then I’ll let you get to it. I’ll message Donnie when I’m ready. See you later.” He leaves the room.
Leo looks at Donnie.
“Congratulations, I guess you won.”
Donnie walks over and bumps his arm against Leo’s.
“I say we both did.”

Hehehe, 🤭 watch me ruin the movie. Anyways 👀uhh, Choi and Leo swap places ig.
"Shisho! I'm here, and I have eyes on the key!" Casey shouted, running towards the aforementioned key.
"Just tell me when your home free, and I'll pull the plug!" He huffed out, continuing to sprint as fast as he could.
Choi stared at their communicator, they could hear the clunky foot steps of the Krang. It was a thing they would never forget. They had a million thoughts in their head, but managed to settle on one.
"CJ, I need to get the Krang into the portal. You need to yank that key when I do" They uttered, gripping onto Leo's katana.
"W-what!? Shisho no!" Casey shouted, in shock of the order.
The sound of April's bat hitting the concrete could barely be heard through the communicator.
"CJ, can you think of anything we can do? No. This is the only way, the Krang won't have a reason to stay on the other side unless theres someone else there" Choi yelled.
"There has to be another way!" Casey seemed distraught, losing Choi once again. Failing to save everyone.
"There isn't another way" Choi shivered at the thought of what this would all lead to. But they shoved that thought into the back of their head, they have to save their family.
"Choi! You can't leave us!" Leo shouted into Raph's communicator before he had the chance to say anything. Tears were already pouring down Leo's face, he was desperate to keep his partner safe.
"Heh.. hypocrite much? You're the one always sacrificing. Thought you may have been the one doing it" Choi tried lightening this grim situation, obviously it didn't work though.
A giant slam could be heard as the Krang approached. It chuckled, giving a disgustingly smug look to Choi.
"Out matched and alone, yet you persist. For what reason do you? Honor? Redemption? Sacrifice even?" The Krang hissed.
"All, meaningless. Just like this planet and everything on it" The Krang grinned, awaiting Choi's response.
"Let's see" Choi huffed
Choi gripped onto Leo's katana, the blue of them shifting to a soft teal. They stared at the Krang, prepared to settle this fight. Whether they won or lost, they would make sure the world lived.
Choi launched themselves toward the Krang, the Krang doing the same. Choi hasn't used Leo's katana much before, but hopefully they wouldn't fail.
The Krang attempted to attack Choi, but they slide under the Krang. Summoning a portal, and going through it. The Krang turned to see where they went, only for Choi to open a portal behind it. They threw a katana at the Krang, but it flew by. Not even close to hitting the Krang.
The Krang grapped Choi out of the air, and threw them down into the technodrome. The Krang slammed it's foot onto Choi's chest, grinding it into them.
Choi shouted in pain, but was determined to not give up. They saw the communicator light up, and managed to pull their arm up to listen.
"Choi, please I can't lose you again!" Casey screamed, though listening to Choi as they comforted him.
"Hey. CJ, I bet- no, I know future me would be proud of you. Because, I'm proud of you." Choi felt tears welling up in their eyes, but didn't let them fall.
The Krang shoved Choi into the technodrome even more.
"Weak words, weak actions! I have forever known, what you disgusting creatures have failed to." The Krang roared.
"STRENGTH ALWAYS PREVAILS"
Choi stabbed the Krang with the katana they had left, and smiled.
"Y'know, you may have thought that. But I think what you fail to understand is that not every miss is a mistake" Choi seemed filled with new found determination to protect their loved ones.
Leo's katana glowed, and so did the stripes on Choi's arms and tail. Choi teleported both them and the Krang to the prison dimension. The Krang was surprised, but stood it's ground. It snatched Leo's katana from Choi, and seemed even more angered then before.
"No, enough of your little tricks" The krang slapped Choi, before tossing the katana away.
The Krang grabbed Choi by the neck, Choi tried ripping it off to no avail. The communicator turned on and they quickly gave an order.
"CJ, close the damn portal, now!"
"WHAT!?" The Krang hissed, looking at the portal back to Earth.
Casey grabbed the key, a flood of emotions overwhelming him. He had finally realised everything that happened. He tried to pull it, but something stopped him. He couldn't do it, he couldn't lose them again.
The Krang tried to get back to Earth, but Choi held it back.
"What!? No! Let go of me!" The Krang pounded Choi into it's armor, Choi could feel blood leaking out. But at this point it didn't matter.
"CJ! CLOSE IT!" Choi yelled.
That was what it took to make Casey pull the key. The key was finally out of the grasp of Krang, which caused the portal to tighten around the technodrome. The portal continued tightening around the technodrome until it shattered, causing an explosion.
While the explosion was colorful, the events that happened were not. Leo stared at the explosion in shock, completely still. Mikey covered his mouth, trying to hold back his tears.
Casey quickly ran away before everything collapsed, using his grappling hook to do so. He held a tight hold on the key.
Choi finally released their grasp on the Krang, and grinned.
"As Leo would say, you've been portal chopped" Choi let themselves float away. There was no point in trying to stay in any place in particular. Nobody would come to find them.
The Krang was slammed by a piece of the technodrome, causing it to drift away aswell. Choi bounced off of the floating piece of the technodrome, whincing at each impact. They eventually slammed into a wall, and let their body go limp.
The Krang landed a bit ahead of Choi, staring at where the portal used to be. It turned to Choi though, filled with a burning rage.
"You," The Krang growled, walking towards Choi's limp body.
"You've ruined EVERYTHING" The Krang's hands curled up into fists as it continued to approach.
"And now.." The Krang laughed, giving a grin. "My wrath will be for only you to suffer through" The Krang punched Choi multiple times, Choi remained limp though.
They whined at the punches, but it didn't matter now. The goal was complete, so there was nothing to worry about anymore.
"You think you've won, you wretched little PEST" The Krang hissed, giving a final slam onto Choi.
That caused the debris to snap, both the Krang and Choi landing on a lower part of the debris. Choi held on tightly to the picture of their loved ones, the ones that they sacrificed their life for. They grinned at the picture.
If these were the people that caused them to sacrifice themself, then they lived a pretty good life. Tears ran down their face, and their life seemed to replay. Every moment seemed to have complete clarity now.
"WIPE THAT GRIN OFF OF YOUR FACE" The Krang shouted, slamming a fist into Choi so hard the whole part of debris exploded into pieces.
Choi flew farther into the prison dimension, the smoke following them fizzling out. They looked at the photo, crying even more. Choi kept it close to their chest, the only thing left they have to remember their family.
Casey walked in the crumbled and ruined leftovers of The Krang's invasion, spotting one of Leo's katana. It still had the soft teal hue to it.
Casey ran over to it, picking it up as gently as possible. The teal hue shifted back to it's normal blue color. Casey cried, raising the katana close to him.
April and Splinter held onto eachother, and April looked back at the disgusting Krang. It chuckled, knowing that even if they lost, the other side lost something aswell.
The four brothers seemed completely distraught. Mikey and Leo were staring at the explosion in the sky. Raph was on his knees crying, and Donnie seemed completely out of it. Choi had became a part of the family, and now they were ripped away.
The tears finally escaped, Donnie touched his face. Looking at the tears, he barely cried. This feeling was unlike any other. He had lost a close friend, a family member.
Mikey seemed different though, he seemed to still have hope. He lifted his hands, groaning as he tried to open a portal. This time it had to work, right? Tears fell onto the concrete, as he continued to struggle.
"Mikey, it's over" Raph said, with any hope he had gone.
"Choi has helped us through so much, we should try to help them aswell!" Mikey shouted in a strained voice.
Sparks flew as Mikey was finally able to make a portal. The light seemed to chip away at his arms. The portal opened, and he was going to keep it open.
"M-Mikey! Don't stop whatever the hell you're doing" Leo yelled, as he and the other two ran up to watch their younger brother.
Mikey whined in pain, as the portal continued to chip away from him. His brothers were there to help though, and they grapped onto him. Making sure nobody would be gone or left behind.
"We're here Mikey" Raph said.
"Together" Donnie followed up with.
The portal was still not opened, so the three others gave a bit of their own mystic abilities to aid. Their eyes glowed a bright orange, and the portal could finally open.
Choi saw the light, and drifted towards it. Reaching out, and seeing the turtles on the other side. They grinned, their family came to find them.
"Thanks for keeping me waiting" Choi mustered out.
Raoh activated his ninpo, and used it to grab onto Choi's arm. He pulled them towards the portal, using all of his strength.
The Krang came up from behind though, ready to either drag Choi down with it, or make it through the portal aswell.
"Choi! Watch out!" Leo screamed, scared that they were so close, and it would all just not be close enough.
Donnie summoned his own ninpo though, using his tech bo as the base for his drill. He launched it towards The Krang, and it drilled into The Krang's face. Giving just enough time for Raph to pull Choi through the portal.
Before The Krang could force itself into the portal, Mikey grinned. Winking, and closing the portal right infront of The Krang's face. Leaving it in the prison dimension forever.
The Krang let out a roar, but nobody was there to hear. It was completely alone now, unable to harm anybody.
Mikey ran over to the seemingly passed out Choi. All four brothers staring at them.
"Choi?" Leo asked, placing a hand on their chest.
"H-hey.." Choi whispered, before looking around.
"Pfft, ew! Leo, we're in Staten Island!?" Choi grinned, looking at Leo with a shimmer not there before.
"Oh come here!" Leo cried, all four brothers giving a group hug to Choi.
JESUS CHRIST THIS IS LONG. and fun fact, all of this is written by me! Nope, not a single word is copy and pasted from the movie script. I watched all of this scene and paused it over and over to write all of this. Please for the love of god vote for Choi, and I'll actually rewrite all of rottmnt[including the movie] where Choi comes in. Also, so sorry for any typos.
@tmnt-oc-comp
They probably hate me so much for @ them so much. Sorry! :[ I just need a lot of propaganda to get Choi to reach 15%

Part 2! Nicknames/designs for both sets of turtles and Casey Junior
Future Leonardo: Goes by Lyon. 6’3”. He/Him, Blue/Blues. Lost right arm from Kraang infection. (Prime grabbed blue when they were fighting and broke skin.) Has burn scars on topside of his body from the laser that killed him. Initially irritated by his past self, but admires him for his achievement (Doing what Lyon couldn’t). Red markings have grown to be double crescents, yellow markings form bands all the way around his arms and legs, mystic markings have extended across his shell and limbs. (Ninpo was fully restored after blue was brought back to life) Blues ninpo power is teleporting and creating portals that other people or things can go through.
Future Donatello: Goes by Othello. 5’7”. They/Them, It/Its, Nu/Null, Voi/Void, several other sets. Has a lower body temperature than average from freezing to death, compensates with a heated battle shell and heating pads. A bit awkward around their younger self, tries their best to have a healthy relationship as one of the few older people in Donnie’s life. Splotch markings have grown on their shell and torso, mystic markings have grown across their limbs and up their neck. Its ninpo power is creating projections of technology or weapons that can either be used or taken apart to make blueprints for building permanent versions of them.
Future Michelangelo: Goes by Angel. 5’5”. He/Him, She/Her, They/Them, Xe/Xem, Any other Neos. Has lightning scars across their arms and plastron from opening the portal, along with heavy nerve damage in their hands and arms. Content around her younger self, though not as physically affectionate. Yellow markings have extended through both sides of her shell, mystic markings have grown to cover her shoulders and knees. Xer ninpo power is making things weightless and creating chains of energy to throw them. He also has the ability to create portals through time and across dimensions, though it has adverse effects on his physical body and should not be used frequently.
Future Raphael: Goes by Ellis/Ellie. 7’6”. He/Him, She/Her, Name-Only. Has burn scars across his chest and arms from the explosion, along with slight nerve damage in his hands. A bit awkward as well around Raph’s younger self but is very physically and verbally affectionate. Natural and mystic markings are more prominent around her spikes. His ninpo power is creating a large projection of himself around his body like a mech suit, but he can also create multiple normal-sized clone projections.
Casey Junior: Goes by CJ. 5’2”. He/Him, Hon/Honey, Sweet/Sweets. Has top surgery scars (courtesy of Leo of course). Thinks of his sensei’s younger selves as brothers, and always wanted a big family, so he’s happy with the situation. Hons mystic markings aren’t visible unless hon is actively using hons ninpo, but when they do appear they’re concentrated around hons neck and hands. Hons ninpo power is creating illusions of figures or places to mess with the target’s perception.
Present Leonardo: Goes by Leo. 5’5”. He/Him, They/Them. Lost his right arm while being rescued from the Prison Dimension. (Prime grabbed his arm and dug in its claws so hard it wasn’t viable to save it.) Shell is heavily cracked, needed to drill into the pieces and string wire between the screws to hold it together. His ninpo is still intact, but with one arm he’s had to adapt to a single katana for using it. Was initially anxious around his future self but has since become more comfortable and trusts blue. His markings are unchanged from the movie design and powers are the same as future self.
Present Donatello: Goes by Donnie. 5’2”. They/Them, [redacted]/[redacted], Vi/Vio, Fuck/Fucks, It/Its. Has lightning scars up right arm from helping Mikey open the portal. Extensive damage to shell, very delicate stitches. Is banned from wearing battle shell until shell is completely healed over. Sensory issues have heightened to the point of unprompted touch sending them spiraling. Prefers tight but breathable clothing to muffle accidental touch and prevent dragging of fabric. Interested about their future self, is comfortable enough around null to make turtle noises (Honor previously reserved for siblings.) Their natural markings have recently started coming in and mystic markings are unchanged from movie design, same powers as future self.
Present Michelangelo: Goes by Mikey. 4’7”. Any Pronouns. Has lightning scars up both arms from opening the portal, along with nerve damage and tremors in hands. Comfortable around his future self, spends a lot of time with them. Has difficulty holding art supplies or cooking utensils because of damaged nerves, but still enjoys the activities and gets others to help her. Aers natural and mystic markings are the same as movie design, same powers as future self.
Present Raphael: Goes by Raph. 6’0”. He/Him, She/Her, Name-Only, Rogue/Rogues. Has lightning scars up left arm from helping Mikey open the portal. Her right eye is extremely damaged and partially blind from Kraang infection, right arm has nerve damage as well. She has a broken carapace and scar on her left shoulder from protecting Leo. Nervous around his future self at first, warmed up to Ellie quickly and frequently spends time with Ellie because Ellie is one of the very few people that can actually pick him up. Natural markings haven’t come in yet, mystic markings concentrated on Raph’s shell. Same powers as future self.
these designs r so fucking sick i need 2 eat all of them oh my god

It had all gone so wrong.
They'd converged on the portal, taking the Foot Clan soldiers by surprise and swiftly dispatching a few. Everything had gone according to plan. They'd all started feeding their respective magic back into the portal in a way that Donnie knew their mana reserves were going to scream at them for later--and wow, who knew, apparently this Casey kid had both some innate magical ability and also wasn't half-bad at taking care of himself in a combat scenario--and Donnie himself had been using his shadows to keep the soldiers at bay, and then--
Then the Krang had popped through anyway, and Donnie had finally been able to see what Theatre and the others were so worried about. Because, oh, apparently the fuckers could nullify magic, which apparently no one had felt like fucking telling him about--
And they were insanely fast for something that size, and strong--
And Dad was hurt--
Fuck this. Fuck all of this. He was making transport circles, and he was getting all of them OUT of there, and then they were going to regroup and come up with a new strategy to take these things out. And that was assuming that these mutated wads of bubblegum weren't capable of using some form of tracking spell--
Okay, okay. Raph and Dad were out safely, as was Mikey and April and future boy. Now he just had to---
....where the hell had Leo disappeared off to.
"Leo? Leo, you idiot, where--" And then his blood ran cold.
Leo was going for the stupid key that had opened the portal in the first place, and his teleportation spell wasn't working as fast as it should have, and one of the Krang was coming right towards him with a tentacle shaped like a spike--
And the whole world slowed down, narrowing to a sickening pinpoint, because his stupid twin was in danger, his stupid twin was about to die and he was just standing there and oh god oh god he wasn't going to be able to get there fast enough--
"LEO! MOVE--"
And he had no idea how he moved so quickly, it was like he was far from Leo one moment and in front of him the next, shoving him away because it had to be him, it had to be him and not his twin, not his better half--
And then there was an overwhelming feeling of SHARP SHARP SHARP BAD BAD BAD PAIN PAIN PAIN NO NO NO through his shoulder--
Oh, hey, look at that. He'd been impaled. There was blood dripping down from his shoulder. Well, at least it hadn't been any of his internal organs that got--oh god fuck it hurt so much, and Leo was staring at him in horror, and his voice was so so small--
"....donnie?"
Right. Reassure Leo, even though all the wind had been knocked out of him, even though--
Fuck. He was being dragged backwards. Oh, fuck, that hurt. Donnie had to grit his teeth against the pained scream that wanted to escape his mouth, trying his best to jerk against the pull as he cast the spell circle--
"G-get out of here, Leo. Go."
"....don, wait, no. Wait, Don---DON---"
The spell circle winked out of existence, cutting off Leo's strangled scream, and Donnie heaved a silent sigh of relief. His twin was safe. His family was safe. Maybe this had all been worth it. Maybe he'd be okay in turn--
And then the force yanked him backwards again, and this time he wasn't able to stop the pained scream that escaped his mouth as he was hoisted into the darkness.
....and then there was nothing. Just faded spell circles, and a sickeningly fresh pool of blood upon the ground.

You heard your boyfriend scream in pain as they dropped their weapon. This villain was different from the others, it was more powerful. It thought differently than the others.
Running to his side, you checked over his wounds. They were bad and you could see how it hurt them. You knew the others couldn't make it in time even if you both ran.
So you did the only thing, you knew you could do.
Fight.

💙 Leo
It was going to be a simple mission, stop whoever kept stealing the condiments. You had no reason why Leo had to make such a fuss over condiments being taken away.
But thinking about it now, no ketchup on fries would've been a nightmare to humans. You only imagined everybody having wars over the very condiments. It would start an anarchy in New York! Especially with the cheap hot dogs on the street.
Leo argued that it would be easier if he went on this, solo... well with you. "C'mon guys! It's just a ketchup thief. It can't be so bad, right babe?"
You nodded your head, there was no way something this silly could be dangerous, right?
Raph crossed his arms, feeling his overprotective brother instincts almost act. Mikey smiled to you both, "I believe in Y/N! C'mon Raphh!" He sighed to Mikey's encouragement, he knew that Donnie would say a comment of "Yeah, yeah. Leo's probably right."
"Fine! But don't go too far in the city. We won't be able to reach you in time if something bad were to happen." His shoulders relaxed, having confidence that Leo can handle it all by himself.
"Yeahhh, Let's do this Y/N!" Wrapping his hand around your waist, he opens a portal. Waving to his brothers. "I'll see you when I complete this on my own! Buh - Bye~"
This would be an easy mission, right?
- - - - - - - - - -
SLAM!
He rolled to the floor, in pain. Running towards him, you fell to your knees. "Leo! A- are you okay?! Open your eyes!" You held his hand tightly. Hoping to feel his warmth, he opened his eyes. You sighed with relief. He coughed out some blood, glancing to the enemy searching for you both. "That.. really hurt- what even is this thing?" You looked with him. trying to analyze what the creature was. "It looks like a scorpion... You were thrown really badly."
He smirked, attempting to move his arms. His smirk wiped off his face immediately unable to feel his bones. "Y- Y/N, you need to run. Get the others, I'll be right behind you." You shook your head immediately, "I can't leave you. The others won't make it in time!" He sighed, scared for his own life and yours.
When you both went through the portal, You and Leo teleported right in front of the scorpion in the act. Resulting in the battle immediately starting. It was a terrible idea of Leo even bringing you, but he wanted to show off his ninja skills.
Typical Leo, seeking out your approval and praise...
He had no clue that the first thing it'd do was throw it towards the wall, hard.
"There's no other choice Y/N..." He frowned looking away. You thought for a moment, before your own mental you gave you an idea. "There's one..."
He raised a brow, watching you pick up his two blades. He had a look of confusion, before he realized. "Y/N! Do not tell me you're going to try and attempt to fight that thing!" He couldn't lose you, he just couldn't. "I'm not attempting Leo! I am going to fight it. Be right back." Before he could say anything else he watched as you ran towards the enemy. Your hair blowing in the wind. You had no fear. He feared for the worst, suddenly watching you swing the blade in front of yourself, jumping through the portal.
Then suddenly appearing out of another one, slashing the beast. How did you even know how to use his weapon? Were you watching him each time you came along on a mission? He didn't know how to take in this information, until he watched the villain suddenly fall over. Making it unable to fight you and your boyfriend. You panted, exhausted of what you just did. Turning your head; you ran back to your boyfriend dropping his blades next to him. "Okay- we can call Donnie now for help. Let me get my pho-" He interrupted your rambling, "How did you do all that, doll?" You blinked, confused. "Do.. what?"
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - 💐
He chuckled to your obliviousness. "How did you use my weapon like that? That was totally badass!" You began to blush to the compliment, "Really? You're hurt and you're calling me a badass?" He nodded with his cheeky smile.
Rolling your eyes, you dialed Donnie's number.
❤️ Raph
"The.. CD Bandit? What on earth is that?" Donnie chuckled looking at the topic on his phone. "It's on the news D! And they've taken ALL of my favorite bands' music albums!" Leo lifted his head from his comic book. "What's so important about that band?" You gasped dramatically.
"What's so important about that band?" You chuckled, your fist turning into a ball.
"What's so important about that band? Raph could see you getting upset over the whole situation. "That band is literally GOD themselves!! They're my idols! They're EVERYTHIN-"
You felt your head being pat by the bigger turtle. "Don't worry Y/N! I'll stop that bandit for you." Your frown turned to a giant smile, a smile that Raph is so, so in love with. "Really?! Oooo!!" You hugged your taller boyfriend as he blushed. His brothers gave "ooo's" and goofy stares. "Thank you, Thank you!!"
So, off you both went to face this bandit. And to bring cheer and joy to all the stans in New York...
Raph would know how much you loved that band, since he was your boyfriend. You wouldn't stop ranting about it around him!
"Y- you're welcome sweetheart, now let's get going. We wouldn't want your bands' songs to be taken of, again." You nodded your head getting on top of his shoulders, blinded from your obsession with a band. That Raph said he, himself would stop this bandit.
- - - - - - - - - -
And here you were, on the ground with a cut on your leg. With your boyfriend being stuck to the wall with a half-cut metal CD pinning him to the wall. His Twin sais' on the floor, you quickly got up to look at him. "Raph are you stuck?! I can try to-"
"Y/N, I'm stuck. I can't reach my weapons and-" His legs were suddenly pinned to the wall with half-cut CDs as well. You were scared that his head and legs would be cut off if he tried resisting. "D- don't move. Let me think of a plan!" He stared at you confused, "What do you mean, PLAN? The plan is to use the panic button!!"
What happened before, was that while you both were running on the roofs of New York, Raph was caught off-guard by a giant CD almost slicing your head off your body. Traumatic as that was, Raph got distracted and fell off the roof. Quickly transforming into his bigger size, catching you in his hands. He let you down on your feet before more CDs were thrown towards him.
They were just thrown too quickly for him to catch all at once. Resulting to the situation at hand...
Back to the present, you held his weapons in your own hands. They were so big in comparison. "Y/N- Now is not the time to joke around. Press the call button on my wrist!" You shook your head with a mischievous smirk. This CD bandit pissed you off the moment the news spoke about it. "You.. do NOT get to take all of those CDs and then break them, to ONLY attack my boyfriend!" You screamed in anger, running towards the bandit. He was going to call your name to get back, before he saw your arm size get bigger with the red mystic energy in his weapon.
"No sweetheart, just.. amazed. Had no clue you could use my weapon like that!" His toothy smile bringing butterflies to your stomach. "Well, watching a good older brother. I guessed I learned a thing..." You glanced over to the crime scene. "Or two."
This may be a stretch, but you punched the shit out of that thing. Forcing it to confess to the police. Now exhausted, you finally pulled the CDs off your boyfriend. When he was free, he immediately hugged you.
"R- raph? What's wrong? Are you hurt?" You felt his arm around your body.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - 💐
🧡 Mikey
Your scream could be heard through the whole lair. Your boyfriend sprinting to your side immediately. "Y/N! What's wrong?! Is there a bad guy? WHERE!!" He was about to take out his kusari-fundo until he saw Leo with you. Both of you sobbing to the tablet.
"Mikey.. they they..." Leo sniffles, hugging himself. "They...? What? What did they do? Who even is they??" You cried, "THEY DESTROYED THE THRIFT STORE!!"
Mikey blinked, staring at you. "I- what?" He placed away his weapon to stare at you at Leo even more. You.. were crying because of a thrift store being destroyed? Until he thought a bit more. That thrift store was you and Leo's favorite store. That's where you bought his matching sweater with you. He gasped, finally understanding the importance of this crime.
He instantly hugged you, "Y/N! This is a job for Doctor Delicate Touch. Nobody destroys a thrift store on my watch!" Your eyes sparkled with determination to Mikey's statement. "Yeah! Nobody should have to suffer their favorite Thrift Store from being destroyed..."
You couldn't help. but imagine the families who aren't able to afford most things. Watch as stores which allowed them to buy products near their price range are destroyed. It broke your heart.
Leo nodded, "Yeah! Nobody should so... I'll be waiting here until you both fix the situation" You raised your brow towards Leo. "Weren't you just crying with me?? I thought you'd be more concerned on this with me!" He shrugged, "Yeah. I'll be concerned, but! I'm letting Mikey do a solo mission.. just don't tell Raph."
Mikey's eyes lit up hearing the news. "Leo!! This is why I love you my man!"
- - - - - - - - - -
Why didn't Leo tell Raph he was going on a solo mission? He was on the ground unable to move due to hanging racks clicking him to the ground. "Urghh! Y/N! Get help!" He knew this solo mission wasn't going to end well, and you were the only one with him. He couldn't risk you getting hurt, yet he was so scared of getting hurt himself.
"Mikey- I can get you out of these.. hangers?- Ugh! Just work with me here." You could hear the monster of clothes roar towards your direction. "RUNNN!"
Before this whole problem existed, you and Mikey simply chose to go into a thrift store, hoping that if it were the next target location of destruction. You both could then quickly destroy the creature. Forcing it out of its ways to the authorities!
However you both underestimated the strength of this enemy. It took you both by surprise. Using that to its advantage, separating the both of you. What makes things even worse was that everything was dark. Mikey couldn't see his surroundings, so he didn't know where to aim. Resulting in him losing his weapon while getting stuck.
You tried pulling the restraints off of him, but there was no sign of it working. Panicking, you didn't want to leave your boyfriend, bestfriend behind. Until you saw in the corner of your eye... his kusari-fundo. "Wait right here!"
You ran towards the battle field with Mikey panicking, "Y/N WHAT ARE YOU DOING- COME BACK!!" You smirked watching Mikeys' jaw drop. "Saving your life!" You grabbed hold of his weapon and began to easily use it. As if it were your destiny to wield it...
When you finished beating the enemy's bum; Mikey was freed. You immediately gave back his weapon and apologized for using it.
"What? Y/N, no! You were amazing! You may know even more than me!" He high-fived you as you both walked back to the lair.

💜 Donnie
It was a lazy sunday, and you just barged into your boyfriend's room. "D! D!- there's this new online hacker dude on the internet!" You waved your phone around, as his metal arm grabbed it. Inspecting the phone, a smirk appears on his face. "The.. Hacker, okay babe. I don't know what jokes you're making up this time... but this is totally, 100% clickbait." You gasped, "It is not!" You pouted, crossing your arms. Looking away from your boyfriend's sweet face.
He chuckled, placing away his engineering instrument. To focus his attention onto you. "Well? How did this "Hacker" become oh, so popular?" You sighed as you felt his hand with yours. "Well... News said it hacked that game you played? Purple Ga-"
"I'm sorry, did you say Purple Game? As in the game, I am always Number One in?" Before you could respond, Donnie was all geared up with his battle shell and his one and only, bō staff. (Tech.) "Onward Y/N! We mustn't let this foul troublemaker ruin any more games!"
You smiled, running with him to go stop this thief. You thought it was going to be your typical "skinny" and "needs to touch grass" sort of guy or gal. But no... you were very wrong.
- - - - - - - - - -
"D-donnie! Stop!" You were panting, holding onto the bloody scratch on your stomach. He groaned in pain, blocking off the bold and strong attacks. "What is it Y/N?! I don't think there's anytime for tal-" You quickly threw a rock at one blast. "Your battle shell- it's not on you!" His eyes widened as he looked to his back. Seeing his sensitive shell exposed.
Before the fight even happened, Donnie used his geolocation algorithm to find the location of the "Hacker." Surprised to find out it was in the Hidden City. You both ventured off into the unknown streets, until finding a black and green hue of light. Without knowing it, you and Donnie fell into its trap. In its game, Donnie used his staff to protect you.
He saw this as a video game, that he could be wreckless. Maybe he was distracted by Purple Game itself to realize his physical body could be affected. He didn't notice that his Battle Shell was broken off of him by a blast.
Distracted by the fact his battle shell was broken off, he was blasted with a laser. Knocking him back, he hissed in pain as his shell scratched the hard cold holographic code floor. He tried thinking of a way to get you out of here. He could hack into the mainframe of the game? No- What could he even-
He was about to tell you to run, before watching you run at the game boss with his staff. "Let's see how you work this thing- WOAH-!!" You pressed a button and one side had a rocket booster. Making up a quick plan; you began bonking the game boss multiple times. Defeating it, the both of you being released from the game safe-and-sound.
He smiled like an idiot to your kiss, before realizing what you said. "Hey!- Rude!"
While you were relieved that you both were safe, Donnie was.. very much confused. He stared at you for a good while, before you broke the silence. "What's wrong Donnie? We can grab your battle shell at ba-" You were quickly interrupted. "How did you learn to use my tech?" You blinked, smiling to yourself. Placing a hand on your hip, you flipped your hair with confidence. "I watched ya tinker with it multiple times! Of course I'd learn a thing or two." His expression still the same, you began to worry if he was mad you touched his tech, his precious works of art.
However his face showed a smile, looking into your eyes. "Well, you learned damn good. I'm a good teacher! I should rant about my tech more around you!" You not wanting a whole hour that could be used to cuddle with him, just for him to rant, kissed his cheek. "For how much I love you babe, please don't do that..."

Bay/rise 40!! @brightlotusmoon @errorfreak88 @digitl-art-monstr @yarchurr @sententiously-sarcastic @dakotafinely @sprinklestheditty
Content warning!! Body mutilation, details of gore, violence, and death!
“No…”
Raphael’s donation leaked out into the ceremonial paint, and what was once white was quick to turn a crimson red to match the sacred spill. Shredder’s eyes lit up white. Cassandra dropped Splinter in her shock and backed up to Draxum’s side, and Draxum’s eyes were just as wide as his companions. He hadn’t counted on ninja nimpo being part of the equation.
As the paint beneath Leonardo’s feet turned red, he looked down and stepped away l to avoid the touch as if it were toxic. He backed up as far as he could go until his carapace was pressed against the wall of vines. No— no no no no no no—it wasn’t meant to be Raphael; it was meant to be him! Meant to be his blood staining the ceremony, his blood feeding the Shredder, this wasn’t his plan—
Shredder dropped Donnie, and the first the stunned box turtle did was scramble over to his unconscious father and press two fingers to the rat's throat. His pulse was still strong. His leg was bent at an awkward angle, but if what Donnie thought was happening was in fact happening, then that was the least of their worries. Shredder was completely enraptured by Raphael like a switch had just been flicked, striding forward while a deep chuffle escaped his throat.
He sat before Raphael. The snapper stared up at the Shredder, frozen to the spot by more than just fear. Every vein in his body was ignited in a fiery red that devoured the length of his being. He felt tears running down his cheeks, but everyone except him could see that the tears weren’t tears at all. It was blood. Blood coming from his eyes and his nose and his ears and running down his body, leaving burn marks wherever it touched.
Leonardo scrambled to grab his father, not daring to get anywhere near his brother. Yoshi clung to his son tightly, his eyes wide in horror as he watched his eldest bleed from every part of his body.
“Red… Raphael!” He tried to go to his son, but Leonardo held him tight and turned at such an angle to block out both of their views so they didn't have to watch.
Shredder’s chest opened up. From within the emptiness of his being fell out a cloud of dust, bones long since burnt up now finally released from the seal that held them for so long. Wires not unlike the ones that held Krang in his body suit slivered out of Shredder, like snakes as they strangled Raphael’s body and bore him to the air as if he were weightless. Raphael couldn’t scream, even as the wires tore through the underside of his jaw and wired it shut. More agony came as the sparking tendrils wove their way into his muscles, weaving around tendons and flesh to control Raphael like a puppet. Every twitch came worse than an eternity in hellfire and if he could have moved on his own, he wasn’t sure he’d want to.
The alien wires pulled the mutant toward the chest, trying to force him inside but he was too big. The wires didn't let him go, however. They pulled him as far in as they could get him, ripping his thick skin and tearing muscles. Then the blade-like rib cage started to close, digging into the bone of Raphael’s plastron and pressing into his chest until the blades could shatter the shell and dig through the pectoral muscle to further control him. The rest of the metal ribs latched on all along his sides, digging into the bridge and plastron like they were soft as clay.
Raphael’s head was forced up, the kuro kabuto that worked as The Shredder’s head opening up to allow the mutant's head into place before snapping down onto him and crushing him like the strangle of a python.
“Shadow Fiend!” Krang cheered, grinning widely as he motioned for Shredder. The great titan of a monster turned around to face him. “Oh, you’re beautiful! I command you to kill those ra—“
Before Krang could finish his words, Shredder’s hand shot forward and grabbed Krang, the abnormally long claws a perfect fit around the utrom. He yanked Krang from his body suit with a disgusting squelch and tossed the helpless alien to the ground, looming over him with a storm brewing in his now blue eyes.
“I listen to no one.” His foot hovered above Krang for a terrifying moment before slamming down. “I…” Krang’s body splattered. There was no blood as one might expect, but instead a steady stream of purple slime spilling out of the destroyed creature. “Am…” His hands clutched at the collar around his neck. “FREE!”
With a single tug, the collar was fractured in two pieces, and Shredder pinned them to the floor. Like some savage beast, he started to tear into the collar that had controlled him for so long until it was nothing but shredded scraps.
“RAPH!” Leonardo finally cried out, and Shredder's eyes snapped to him. Neither of them moved.
“You... '' Shredder's eyes flashed with the cold memory of his time in New York. The pain of his body as it moved of its own will, teleporting him everywhere with no true focus. Fighting, because that was all he was made to do. Fighting for himself until that brat of a mutant in the blue mask forced that collar upon him and took away his will. Forcing him to be commanded by creatures far below him in every way. “I’ll kill you next!”
Shredder lunged. He was yanked back hard by his ankles as vines held him in place; vines imbued by Baron Draxum’s magic.
“RUN!”
That was all it took. Leonardo carrying Yoshi and Donnie carrying Splinter, they ran through the walls as the vines split and made way for them to pass.
“Master?” Cassandra asked, her eyes wide as she looked to Draxum.
Shredder had already broken free of the vines with a single slash and turned his attention to the yokai and human that dared challenge him.
“Cassandra, we have to go now!”
Draxum didn't give her a choice. He grabbed her hand and forced her to follow after him. After a few seconds of confused resistance, she started to run alongside him as his equal.
“RUN!” Donnie ordered to his brothers as he ran past.
Leo went to question Donnie for only a second before he saw Shredder, and then immediately took off after his brothers. Donatello and Michelangelo, however, were far more reluctant to follow after theirs.
“Leo, where’s Raph?” Donatello asked.
“Please…” Leonardo stopped for just a moment, crying heavily as his voice quivered worse than Donatello had ever heard it before, “Please just run…”
Leonardo clutched Splinter even tighter as he ran again, and this time his brothers didn't dare to question before running after him. Draxum was faster, and he hoisted Michelangelo onto his shoulder, easily supporting the young teen’s weight and carrying him faster than Michelangelo could carry himself.
“Get to the rift!” Draxum reached a claw forward, his vines following his command and spiraling to form a large gateway rift. He dropped Cassandra and shoved her forward, the kunoichi speeding ahead with an agility matched by Leonardo.
The first into the rift was Yoshi, because Leonardo had tossed the rat in against his will. Then Cassandra passed through, and Leonardo looked back just in time to see Michelangelo being tossed at him. He caught his brother, and then called to Donatello.
“HURRY!”
Donatello was the third through the rift, and then Michelangelo was there forth. Shredder bounded effortlessly over the still running bay brothers and slashed the rift in two, the portal within it blipping out of reality.
“GET BACK!” Draxum’s vines grabbed Leonardo just before the Shredder-Raph could bring its claws down on top of him. Draxum pulled Leonardo to his side and at the same instant continued to run in the opposite direction.
He let go of Leonardo and the slider quickly pulled ahead with a powerful swing of his odachi that sliced an awkward cut in reality. Leonardo fell promptly through it, but Draxum stopped to look back.
One of Shredder’s claws came so dangerously close to striking Donnie, but a swipe from Leo’s katana from behind was enough to distract him enough to rear up as high as he could stand and watch the turtles scramble beneath him. He stood and jumped in place, slamming his full weight down hard in a shockwave that knocked them all off their feet. And then he laughed.
“Turtle!” Draxum yelled, “Give me the rat!”
Donnie looked at Draxum, and then back to the laughing monster. When he was told they’d be fighting Shredder, he had been expecting something a little closer to his own Shredder in size and skill. Not this monster of a creature easily standing a hundred feet and hitting like a freight train! He gave his unconscious father one last kiss on the head before tossing him at Draxum.
Draxum caught the rat as carefully as he could, bringing Splinter to his chest and risking one last glance at the turtles and their adversary. He couldn’t risk staying any longer. Through the rift he went with the rat in his arms.
“CLOSE THE RIFT NOW!” He ordered to Leonaredo.
“Wait— but the others—“
“NOW!”
The rift closed and sealed the separation.

It Started with the Milk: Chapter 6 - Respit
Note: Guess who finally figured out how Tumblr's "Read under the cut" system works!!!
When the woman brought the bell-bird in, April knew it was time to go, screw the rain. April scrolled down to the band’s store on ITunes, finally conceding and purchasing DIGG’s most recent album. She plugged in her earbuds and let the rapid beat of drums replace the screeching call of whatever was happening in the vet clinic as she opened her umbrella and walked out. Without a carrier, April had to carry Mayhem out of the clinic in her arms, not that either of them were complaining. She walked a few paces until she was on the outside of the clinics gate, just on the outskirts of the street.
Looking back, April noted that this place didn’t look anything like a human veterinarian clinic, it was comparable to a theme park. What April had gotten from the pamphlet was that “Squaker’s Creature Clinic” was a 6 acre property that provided care for any exotic creature (everything was exotic down here, April had a hard time telling the difference between pet and owner.) Sunita had been able to get her Dad, Exploding Frankie, to drop April off in front of the clinic a few minutes before the appointment, but April had had no idea what she was getting into. It was easy enough to find a seat, but while she was waiting in the clinic, the clerk had mistaken April for Mayhem’s pet, and had spent the first 10 minutes making baby noises at her. The doctor had made the same mistake, but they were eventually able to get down to business and take care of the appointment.
She tried getting into the beat of the music, closing her eyes for a moment as she tried to ignore the cold that was crawling up her ankle. She started pacing to try and get the blood flowing. When she felt the warm brush of Mayhem’s tongue against her face she reopened her eyes to see his worried expression. “I know buddy, i’m cold too.” She heard a gargling screech come from inside the clinic and cringed, “better out here than in there though, huh?”
April and Mayhem both sighed in tandem. Mayhem curled back up in her arm, breathing gently as he settled in for warmth. “Leo, where are you…” she muttered under her breath. At the thought of Leo she was reminded of Donnie, and with that she felt her blood pressure rise.
‘Why didn’t he come, he’s never not come.’ The fact that he hasn’t messaged her since last week was one thing, ignoring her six calls was another, and leaving her waiting for an hour was the tipping point. She tried to “zen out” to DIGG, but she kept thinking.
“Why would he ignore me?!” She looked to Mayhem who was startled by her abrupt start of conversation, “Sure, I kept calling him today before and after your appointment, but that was because we had made plans about this like five days ago…” She should have gotten Mayhem to the clinic sooner but there was such a long wait time. She held Mayhem a little tighter, “I haven’t done anything… right?” when he shook his head ‘no’, April continued: “Yeah! Donnie would have told me if something was up, it’s not like he’s one to mince words.” She scoffed at that and groaned, the cold was crawling back up her legs again. She picked up the pace, bouncing a little with the steps. She landed in a puddle large enough to soak into her socks and she made a noise of disgust.
When April turned a blur of blue rammed into her, knocking the umbrella out of her hand as the form tightly enclosed her. She wanted to shout, but her call was cut off by the guttural sob that bled into her shoulder.
“Leo?” He responded by fixing his grasp to hold onto her tighter. Mayhem chittered in complaint as he was squished between their two bodies, teleporting to the ground behind April to escape Leo’s hold. April wrapped her arms around Leo, feeling him shiver uncontrollably at her touch. “Leo what’s wrong?”
When he didn’t respond April pulled him away from her by his shoulders. She kept him close but now she could see a redness under his eyes. A purple mark was swelling on his left cheek and there was redness forming on his throat. He looked away from her before rubbing his face with both hands. April saw the charred cloth of his sleeve and gasped, “Leo, what-”
He spoke in a low tone of voice that April was not familiar with, it was shaky and it fought back a choke as he uttered, “can I please hang out at your place for a bit?” he removed his hands from his face and looked pleadingly, “please.”
She wanted to ask, now and here, but he didn’t look up for it. He was soaked from head to toe and even at their close proximity April could see that his legs were shaking.
She hugged him again, putting on a strained smile as she tried to stay calm. “Yeah, Leo… Of course.”
He broke the hug first and stepped away, rubbing at his eyes before pulling out his Odachi. He stood stationary as he tried to concentrate, taking a deep breath and stabilizing before swinging his sword to form an electric blue portal. Wow. First try. April picked up Mayhem and her umbrella, closing it as she walked up to Leo.
“It’s going to be okay, Leo,” She felt the cold rain speckle her hair and her cheeks, slowly soaking into her jacket as she put a hand on his arm. “You’re okay.”
April’s apartment was (thankfully) empty. Her parents were out and she knew that they wouldn’t be back until late evening, so her and Leo could hang out at least until then.
“How do you feel about a pizza,” April pushed Leo towards the couch as she pulled out her phone, “because I am famished.” She watched as he flopped down onto the sofa, he rubbed his eyes with a stiff sigh. She typed in the familiar number and paced into the kitchen to open the fridge. The number only rang twice before being answered with a familiar voice.
“Run of the Mill, this is Hueso speaking.”
“Hi,” she pushed over the carton of milk to get to the soda’s and juice. “Do you guys deliver?”
“Yes we do, what would you like.”
“Can you do a half cheese, half creepy-special, I got a friend who really likes that kind of stuff.” April squirmed at the thought of the creepy special, it was all of the boys favorite though.
“Brown, blue, or black?”
“Uhhh~” April drew out the sound in confusion, “you mean like… olives?”
“No.”
A chill shot up her spine but she choked it down, “... A- a mix, then?”
“Of course, would you like to add on an order of Garlic knots with that order?”
That sounded more up her human-palette-alley. “You know what, sure.” “Muy bien, what is your address?”
She relayed her address information and her card number from memory and was given an approximate time of 30 minutes for delivery. With the pizza on the way she shouted from the kitchen, “Leo! What do you want to drink!”
“I’m not thirsty.” This was worse than she thought. She sighed and pushed a hand through her hair, 30 minutes until pizza, what was she going to do for 30 minutes? April usually did this for Donnie (and the occasional Mikey), but the procedure always went like this: A Jupiter Jim movie, weighted blanket, pizza, soda, and then she would ask if Donnie (or Mikey) would want to talk about it. Donnie opening up about something was a good 75%-25%, Mikey was 100% going to talk about it before she even started the movie. Leo though, April had never seen him this upset before.
She walked into her bedroom and grabbed a thick blanket off of the foot of her bed, pulling it off messily before making her way back to the living room.
Leo snapped out of a distant stare when April sat next to him on the couch.
She spoke softly as to not startle him any further. “You wanna get out of that soaked jacket?”
He looked down, as if noticing his wet demeanor for the first time. “Oh, uh…” he put on a grin, “what, don’t like the way I sparkle?”
She rolled her eyes, “C’mon, Leo,” if he was cracking jokes maybe he was feeling better, “you’re turning my sofa a whole different shade of brown.”
She watched him chuckle as he began to peel the hoodie off of his but he stopped with a jerk. He was frozen as a darkness passed through his eyes.
She reached a hand out to gently rest on his shoulder, “Leo?”
He snapped, “I need to use your bathroom.” He jumped up from the sofa and stumbled through the hallways before April heard the bathroom door shut with a click.
She had the notion to follow him, but took his place on the couch instead. April looked to Mayhem who likewise looked at her with confusion. She threw the blanket on the chairs arm before getting up again, going to the cabinet below the TV as she started flipping through her collection of old dvds and (ugh) vcr’s. She heard her phone buzz and pulled it from her pocket, a text notification buzzed with Donnie’s name on the screen. She huffed and threw her phone behind her onto the couch. “You ghost me, I ghost you,” she muttered under her breath as she kept flipping through the video’s. Mayhem came up next to her and looked into the drawer.
April heard her phone vibrate again, “I’m trying to pick a movie to watch with Leo,” She pulled out two, “do you think he would like ‘Jitsu for Justice,’, or… ‘Punch Chowder, Directors cut’?” She looked to Mayhem who squinted at the weathered disks before pointing to ‘Jitsu for Justice’. “Yeah, you’re right,” April tossed Punch Chowder back into the drawer, “only criminals like ‘Punch Chowder’.”
She heard her phone vibrate a few more times but ignored it again with a huff. Mayhem teleported onto the sofa where he flipped over the phone to look at the screen, it vibrated again and again and he cringed. April turned on the television and powered up the vcr player, should she let the previews play now or wait until Leo came back into the room. Nah, only Splinter likes the previews. She loaded up the timely tape and let it start playing. Her phone started buzzing again and she groaned in annoyance. April went back to the sofa to snatch up her cell, “ugh, what?”
She opened her messages and was sent the first unchecked message. They kept coming in as she began to read:

Are you mad
April, Something’s up with Leo
Can you call me, Leo’s not picking up his phone
April was pulled out of the trance when she heard the clatter of falling objects and a frantic curse coming from the bathroom.
The excuse to drop her phone back onto the couch was welcome. She moved out of the living room to the start of the hallway. “Leo?” Silence.
She could hear the sink running as she walked further. “Leo,” she tapped on the bathroom door, “are you okay?”
“I-” A shaky breath bled through the thin wood. There was a pause laced with shaky breaths that April could hear despite the flowing sink. “No.”
Her heart sunk and she gripped the door handle, “can I come in?”
When he didn’t answer, a wave of dread washed over her. Should she go in now? Would breaking into the bathroom startle him? Would it make whatever was happening worse? Was he doing something bad?
“Yeah.”
April didn’t hesitate.
Leo stood over the vanity with his arm under the running faucet. She gasped when she saw the pale blistering skin under all the white bubbles. April nearly tripped as her foot kicked a bottle of some beauty product across the bathroom floor, sending it flying into the side of the tub. The cabinet under the sink had been opened and emptied, piles of bottles and scrubs organized frantically in search for something. She barely noticed his hoodie and sword, discarded into a messy pile in the bath. She covered her mouth with one hand while the other went to gently touch the top of his arm. He turned his head away from the sink with a forced smile, “I can’t find your med kit.”
She ran to her room where she slid a small green backpack out from the underside of her bed, a piece of worn and slightly peeling piece of scotch tape with a red sharpied cross adorning its front (she’s known the boys long enough to have one of these). She returned to the bathroom and turned the sink off. She gripped Leonardo firmly as she forced him onto the toilet, she took her place sitting on the side of the tub as she practically ripped open the bag.
“Leo, what did you do?” The burn was on the side of his forearm, starting an inch below the wrist and stretching all the way to his elbow. The skin was a dull and ashy green, distant from his healthy neon shade and covered in small, broken blisters. She reached for the towel hanging on the wall and dabbed at the skin gently to dry the sink water, Leo noticeably flinched at the contact but said nothing. She dived into her bag, retrieving a gauze, a roll of bandages and a burn spray that she sat next to her on the tub ledge. “Leo, what did you do?!” she repeated again. She applied the spray first, an antibiotic burn spray laced with lidocaine, spraying libberaly before applying the gauze loosely to the face of the burn.
“I- I don’t know.”
“What do you mean, you don’t know?!” her sudden shout made him flinch, “this is a second degree burn and you don’t know?!.” She started to loosely apply the bandage, too tight and it would cause more harm than good. Mayhem appeared in the bathroom on top of the sink, curiously looking down on the wound as April applied her first aid. She heard Leo suck a breath in and looked away from his arm to see him holding his face in his hand.
“I don’t know what he- what to-” Leo rubbed his hand down his face, a few tears falling down his cheeks as he spoke, “I don’t know what to do.” He choked and hiccuped with every word. Mayhem trilled quietly with concern, leaning closer to Leo as he watched the two of them interact.
“Leo...” April switched from restraining his hand to holding it, softening her tone as she looked him in the eyes. “Leo, take a deep breath. Can you breathe with me?” He nodded.
“In-” She inhaled deeply through her nose and he copied her, “out.” She exhaled through her mouth, and although his breathing was ragged he replicated the motion. April repeated this with him until his breathing was calmer. She finished wrapping his arm and hugged him, holding him tightly in the dim lighted bathroom.
“I’m sorry,” Leo hesitated, sniffling quietly into her shoulder as he considered what to apologize for, “about the mess, about you being left there in the rain, about Donnie not...”
April took a deep breath, “it’s okay, Leo.” She sat on the lip of the bathtub and swept him over with her eyes, “is there any other injury I should know about?”
He did a little shimmy on the toilet seat, “not that I can feel,” he said blankly. “I didn’t…” Leo looked at his bandaged arm, turning it over slightly before feeling the bandages with his other hand, “I didn’t even feel this, the burn.”
April tilted her head in concern and placed her hands awkwardly in her lap, she didn’t know where else to put them right now. “Were you in shock?” With how upset he looked in front of the vet, it wasn’t unlikely, but the boys usually nursed their own injuries together. April could feel her heart rate pick up as her mind started thinking the worst “Leo… Where are your brothers?”
He straightened and shook his head, “no… No, April they’re fine, this was…” he pulled his arm up to rub at the back of his neck, his hands ghosting over the formed bruise on his throat before moving away again, “Dad, Raph and Mikey are fine, they weren’t even there when it...” Leo paused and his eyes focussed on something distant.
“What about Donnie?” Leo shifted uncomfortably. April took his face in her hands, forcing Leo to make eye contact with her, “Leo, what. About. Donnie.”
“I think he’s… okay?”
“What?” Mayhem hopped onto the back of Leo’s shell, rubbing against his head as Mayhem took a closer look at Leo’s arm, going over the medical work with narrowed eyes. “What is that supposed to mean!”
Leonardo leaned back out of her hands. “April, I don’t even know how to explain it, he-” Leo groaned in frustration and grabbed Mayhem quickly to place him back on the floor, “It. It wasn’t even... It wasn’t even Donnie.”
April felt a wave of confusion roll over her. She balked, “what are you talking about?”
Leo laughed pitifully as he brought his hand up to his face, “ah-ha-ha~” he sputtered out, “I don’t even know where to start…” He rubbed over his eyes and leaned back in defeat on the tank of the toilet. He sighed deeply before quietly saying, almost to himself, “I think I'm going crazy, April.”
April said nothing, examining Leo as he laid back in defeat, not looking at her, not looking at anything really. She finally noticed the dark bags under his slightly bloodshot eyes, he looked utterly exhausted and she wasn’t sure what to do. Keep pushing for an answer? No. No not yet. She sighed and looked away towards Mayhem, who was circling the bathroom floor. Mayhem was still disgruntled from being placed on the floor but walked up to Leo’s leg, sniffing at his ankles and narrowing his eyes.
In the uncomfortable silence April could finally hear the TV going, the previews were coming close to an end. “Leo, do you want to go sit in the living room?” He looked uncertain at the question, looking over April as they both hesitated. She turned to a softer tone. “Go get comfortable on the couch, I’ll clean up here and I’ll be with you in a second.” He opened his mouth to say something but closed it again. “Okay?”
After another moment, Leo simply nodded and stood. Mayhem staggered back from the sudden movement and stumbled backwards as Leo moved out of the bathroom, Mayhem quickly followed, close behind his heels.
April breathed out with a sigh of relief, loosely running her hand through her hair as she leaned over her knees. What was going on? She took a deep breath in and tossed the burn spray back into the bag, zipping it up quickly and placing it on top of the toilet. April took to the floor as she began to place the miscellaneous beauty products back into the bottom of the sink. While looking for her medical kit, Leo had tried to place the cabinets contents in neat rows on the floor and counter, but somewhere along the way something must have fallen, causing a domino collapse and causing the noise that brought April to the door.She finished placing everything back into the cabinet and closed the door quietly before standing and approaching the bathtub.
Leo’s hoodie was soaked in her hands, would he even still want it with the massive burn on the sleeve? She considered hanging it on the curtains tension-rod to dry but reconsidered. Wouldn’t want to forget it's there and have her mom find it and asked questions. April reopened the med bag and stuffed it in there, she’d hang it up to dry later and ask if Leo would still want it. She bent down and clasped his sword, freezing as she got a closer look at the blade. Along the sharp edge was a thin stretch of red. His sword had blood. Was that normal? It was a sword so blood shouldn’t be unbelievable, but it was blood. Leo had never really cut people before though so what blood- whose blood was this? He was burnt, not cut. It wasn’t his, but it was blood so who…
April’s head ran around in circles. It was blood. On Leo’s sword. April turned the bath’s faucet on and quickly ran over the edge with a hanging washcloth, quickly removing the red and going it over a few more times for good measure. She took the hanging towel and dried it before setting the Odachi on top of the towel rack. Why did she do that? Should she have asked first? Asked what, if he wanted to keep it on it? If he wanted to keep blood on his sword?! April groaned and rubbed her hands over her face. They felt cold from the bathwater, it felt nice against her flushed cheeks.
April inhaled deeply and held it, holding her breath and counting to thirty before releasing it in a long, deep sigh.
“Okay.” She repeated the breath again as she held her hands together in front of her lips, holding for thirty before releasing another long, deep sigh. “Alright, April. You are going to go in there, and you are going to be there for your friend.” She paused and picked up the med bag, starting her trek back to her room where she returned her bag to the bottom of her bed, “he’ll tell you when he’s ready, it’s okay, he’s okay…” She felt calmer from talking to herself, she didn’t do it often, but it helped, and she could feel it helping her now as her nerves subsided, “it’s all going to be okay.”
-
April called from the kitchen, “water or soda?”
He wasn’t thirsty earlier, but he could feel the stripping dryness in his throat now. “Just water, please.” Leo could hear the refrigerator open and close with a clap.
Mayhem returned to Leo’s lap the moment he sat down, curling back into a ball and purring softly as Leo stroked his fur. For the first time in days Leo felt relief wash over him, and he gave a heavy yawn.
Leo snapped his mouth closed, he didn’t want to sleep just yet. April walked into the room carrying a bottle of water and a can of soda. Once she handed the water to Leo she plopped down onto the opposite side of the couch and cracked the can open.
Why did he say all that in the bathroom? Leo was filled with embarrassment and fear, did April think he was crazy now?
Might as well make small talk. “Why did Mayhem need to go to the vet?”
April swallowed the soda with a sigh, “poor little guy wasn’t eating, turns out he had some yucky stuff in his guts and now he’s gotta go on a “delicate tummy” diet and take some pills.”
“Yucky stuff as in…”
April took a sip, pushing out an audible sigh afterwards. “Some intestinal parasite, I think?”
Leo cringed. “Ugh,” it just had to be that. Leo brushed off the chill and sipped at his water, “how was the vet?”
“Oh don’t even get me started,” April sat her can on the coffee table with a hard tap. “I couldn’t get Mayhem to a vet up here for obvious reasons, so I call Sunita about it and she recommended this vet clinic,” her phone vibrates but she ignores it as she starts her tangent, “so I get there and it looks like a prison, I get Mayhem inside and the receptionist doesn’t take me seriously until I show her the appointment on my phone. I end up waiting an hour longer than I need to before the doctor finally sees me and Mayhem bites him!”
“He bit someone?” Leo carefully moves his hand off of Mayhem’s back, eyeing the comfortable yokai cat-dog who grumbles at the loss of the touch. “I thought he reserved that kind of stuff for Raph.” Leo chuckles dryly.
April gives a ‘Ha’, but continues “I know right! Anyway, after he pins Mayhem down with some ‘magic hands,’” April makes jazzy hands at those words, “he prods and pokes mayhem for like twenty minutes before putting like three shots in his tummy.” She leans over and picks Mayhem off of Leo’s lap to set him down on her own, gently petting his head until he was comfortable again. “Mayhem throws up like two times his body weight all over the doc’s shoes and that’s when the guy finally tells me that Mayhem was sick with some weird stuff before shoving me out the door with a bill.” April huff’s. In hearing April retell his traumatizing tale, Mayhem stands gruffly and hops back off of her lap onto the floor to start licking his fur.
Leo watched Mayhem tentatively and shifted his legs to be a bit farther away from the weird dog. “Sounds… awful.” Mayhem noticed Leo’s movement and started sniffing again, getting closer to his ankles as he inspected.
“Yeah, now he’s gotta take pills for like a whole month to make sure it all gets out of his system, apparently it’s some super persistent variety.” April sighed and leaned back. “For a doctor, he didn’t talk much and I barely understood anything he was saying when he did.” She moved her eyes to the screen of the T.V.. ‘Jitsu for Justice’ was starting now, the opening shot starting with Lou Jitsu (like most of his movies.) “But… I’m glad that it's over. This little guy was acting all kinds of weird, he’s acting way more like himself now.” She sighed.
‘Wish I could feel the same way,’ Leo thought. Leo tried doing the same, staring at the screen as he tried to zone out. He was suddenly aware of the blanket next to him as he pulled it off the arm and wrapped himself in it. A wave of heat shot through his arm up to his shoulder, making him wince just as he settled in for comfort. He ignored it and tried to focus on the screen... The fight with It… A visual of himself on the ground, with Donnie’s body hovering over him settled in his brain like a transparent filter. The rocketsetting on Donnie’s tech bo after he pushed the button. When the purple flames started and he felt the heat on his arm. Leo closed his eyes and took a deep breath. That must have been it. When the rocket setting started and he was so panicked that he hadn’t registered the pain.
Leo suddenly felt queasy as the burn on his arm visualized in his head. He leaned back until his shell was flush with the sofa, keeping his eyes shut as he took a deep breath. Painful heat went up his arm again. The hand on his neck. The choke hold he was forced into. Calling Raph. Being dragged away by the throat…. Donnie’s hand. His eyes snapped open, but not before the visceral picture of his twins gaping palm flashed through his mind. Oh no oh no nono. It was so deep and there was white. It was bone. Leo lurched forward into his hand. He cut someone. Hurt someone. Donnie. He sucked in a harsh breath. ‘It wasn’t Donnie. It’s not Donnie,’ the small voice - maybe it was Leo’s conscience, which, funny enough, took the form of Raph - tried to reason. Oh but it was a body. Maybe not Donnie’s but maybe it was Donnie’s and he just hurt him.
“Leo?” He heard April but he didn’t want to respond. He felt like he couldn’t respond without breaking down. He now realized that he still had the water bottle in his hands. Not wanting to crush it with his vice grip, he set it onto the coffee table between them, staring at the water as it quaked.
He exhaled shakily as he tried to get a grip on himself. ‘Don’t do this, not here,’ he tried repeating the words in his head. What if it was Donnie. What if it wasn’t? If it was? Then his brother is being puppet controlled by a worm the size of a python from the inside out. If it wasn’t, then Donatello might be dead already and there was nothing he could do about it.
“Leo.” A hand on his shoulder snapped him out of it. Her voice was so soft it was almost a whisper. “Do you want to talk about it?”
He opened his mouth and then closed it again as the words caught in his throat. He tried again, only a gargle coming out the second time before he snapped it shut again. April moved to hold his hand, patiently looking him in the eyes as she listened. He blinked the tremor out of his vision as he focused on her. “It started two days ago,” Leo started, “I didn’t think much of it… but then it started getting worse.”
She squeezed his hand when he hesitated and he swallowed. Closing his eyes as everything revisualized at once. He had already started, ‘keep it as “on-track” as you can, man’ the voice in his head - which he now knew was mind Raph - chastised gently.
“It’s Donnie.” He felt a sting in his throat again but he swallowed it down, “or maybe it was Donnie at some point... but isn’t any more. But I don’t want to think that because that would mean that…” that he’s dead. “I-” that Donnie’s dead. That he’s dead and something did it, and they didn’t stop it, that he didn’t stop it and Donatello, his twin, his brother their brother was dead. Leonardo tilted his head back as he fought tears. “I just knew that something was wrong, nothing was wrong, but…” He should have said something to Raphael, maybe he would have believed him more than Mikey did and none of this would have escalated like it had, but then again, “he wasn’t even acting weird!” April shifted back uncomfortably at the sudden outburst. “And the stupid milk!”
“Slow down Leo,” April kept her hand on his, squeezing it comfortably as she brought her other hand up defensively. “Can you start from the beginning?” She watched as Mayhem jumped onto the sofa and curled up in his lap. Leo looked down in surprise but hummed softly as he started to pet his fur.
He thought he was starting from the beginning. He breathed in and out, picking a better place in the story to start with. “It didn’t start getting odd until breakfast, the other day, when I asked him about why he was putting milk in his coffee, not a big deal.” April nodded, “But then he got uncomfortable with my questioning, so I tried leaving it alone. Then it got weirder… like,” Leonardo looked to April as he hesitated, she was paying attention to him as he spoke, taking in everything as he said it as she tried to understand, “he started trying to spend more time with me. He intentionally lost a game to me, which he would never do, and he didn’t care when Mikey broke the turtle tank!” Leo’s voice had risen again.
“Whoa whoa whoa, wait.” April briefly interrupted with a shocked tone. “Mikey broke the tank?”
“Well, no… just the soft-serve machine.” Leo trailed off, “but he wasn’t even annoyed!"
Mayhem rolled over on Leo’s lap but seemed to be bothered again, hopping up on all fours to jump off the couch.
April hummed, “he didn’t say anything?”
“Nothing! And I-” Leo stumbled over his words, “and I know that that’s so small! It’s like I said, nothing was bad, nothing was wrong. Just… off, and there was no reason for me to be suspicious, no real reason for me to be paranoid. And then, right after you called…” he forced himself to stop when he heard the quiver in his voice.
“It’s okay, Leo,” She took his hand again, rubbing her thumb over the back of his hand as she held it tightly. She gave a small, understanding smile. “It’s okay. Take your time.”
“There’s something inside of him.” Leo’s voice broke. “It crawled back inside of him and it’s not him, I think it’s his body but it’s not him who’s moving and talking,” Leo brought his hands up as he accentuated his words, breaking contact with April’s hand as he continued. “I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that there’s some monster impersonating him, or that nobody knows, or that I have no idea how long he- It has been like that.” Mayhem sniffed at Leo’s ankles again, squinting before poking at Leo’s shin guards (ankle warmers? socks?)
“What do you mean?” April felt unease at what Leo was insinuating, a similar feeling to when she had read those texts.
“It was like… a snake, or a worm, it was black and it came out of his mouth before Donnie- It attacked me.” He has it in his head that it’s not Donnie, but his mouth can't get it right. “It’s like...”
April hesitantly finished for him. “Like… like a parasite?”
Mayhem screeched.
Both Leo and April jumped at the sudden noise and Mayhem ripped off Leo’s shin guard with his (surprisingly strong) tiny hands. Leo jumped back farther into the couch with a yelp at the motion as April tried to grab the little yokai.
“Mayhem, stop!” She tried grabbing him but he dodged April’s hands as he jumped onto the coffee table between them, shaking Leo’s shin guard roughly.
Something struck the table, sticking stationary to the hard surface with a tap. Mayhem threw the guard over his shoulder - which flew over April’s head - and inspected the small item. He squinted his eyes as he took it between his tiny fingers and sniffed it once before growling. With a huff, mayhem showed it to them both, holding the small bead in the air for Leo and April to see. Mayhem held a black bead the size of a pinky nail between his tiny claws, it shined dully in the light of the T.V. Leo flinched in recognition. It was one of the beads that Donnie had pulled from behind his shell.
“Uh, Mayhem?” April asked, “what’s up buddy?”
Mayhem reached it towards her and April took it between her fingers, tapping it between her finger pads. “It’s… kinda sticky?” She offered the observation as she handed the bead to Leo, who did the same. Mayhem rolled his eyes as he watched her pass it off to him. It was sticky. As Leo rolled it between his fingers he could feel it’s pull on his skin, it was also kinda squishy under the pressure.
Mayhem pulled Leo’s water bottle over to the center of the table and quickly unscrewed the lid. He hopped onto Leo’s lap, snatching the bead from his fingers before turning back to the table. Popping the bead in quickly, he recapped the bottle before shaking the container vigorously with both hands. Both Leo and April watched silently (although definitely confused) as Mayhem performed the task with shut eyes. After what felt like minutes, Mayhem set the bottle back down with an tired sigh, keeping his tiny hand on the lid to hold it down. The bead was now three times its size.
April looked towards Leo. He was transfixed, his lips pressed tightly together as he stared with wide eyes. He gasped. April snapped her head back towards the coffee table. The bead squirmed and twitched before cracking open. A black, rounded point shot out from the crack, extending and expanding as it breached what they now knew as an egg. The thin tubular worm escaped its egg as it circled its environment, slowly expanding.
“What the-” April gasped. Leo was silent as he watched, unconsciously gripping the arms of the chair until the fabric squeaked. Horrified, they both watched over a span of minutes as the creature grew longer and thicker, soaking up the water until it filled the space of the entire bottle. Even when there was no space to grow, they could still see it slithering around and into itself, turning the water into a murky black.
Mayhem broke the silence with a chirp. Looking expectantly at them both.
“Mayhem, i’m going to assume that you…” April tried her best to avoid looking at the bottle, trying instead to focus on her pet/friend to fight the nausea. “Know what that is?”
Mayhem nodded.
“That’s…” April and Mayhem both looked towards Leo, who forced his words out with bated breath, “that’s the thing.”
Mayhem pushed the bottle to the side, getting back up onto all fours as he looked towards Leo pitifully. April jumped as the bottle shook on it’s own, she felt her skin crawl and shifted in her seat. Looking towards Leo she could see what only could be described as despair and disgust.
“That’s what’s in Donnie.”
The doorbell rang.

The mystic power is from the bois not the weapons
Good evening y’all I’m putting together a bunch of random observations/evedence/my own ideas for this theory. I don’t have the energy to put in screenshots but if someone else would wanna rb w/ them I would love you forever
Ok so I’m trying to make a comprehensive list let’s start with the basics
Bois were meant to be weapons
Every other mutant has mystic powers
Raph usually his powers w/o his weapon in “late fee”
Raph also punches through a steel cage and seems to create an explosion. We know his strength has limits, so his tf is he able to do that w/o magic?
Leo is shown to move incredibly fast, significantly faster than others and visibly shocking others (see fight w/ him and splinter in the battle nexus) almost like he’s able to teleport
The magic responds to their emotions. (Portals not appearing bc Leo isn’t confident, raph unlocking a new power when his brother is in danger) that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s them, but it makes more sense for it to be them than the weapons. The magic in the weapons have no reason to attune to their emotions, i feel like it would be more likely to attune to their skill or movements or smthn
A big one no one has pointed out- in mystic mayhem draxum is surprised by Mikey’s use of magic. Plus he doesn’t look like he knew what Leo’s was gonna do. Why would he be suprised that his magical weapons are magic?? Unless they’re not
I’m guessing that the weapons are made to channel magic. Draxum is suprised bc he didn’t know the boys had magic to channel
Plus, uhhh why were there 4 weapons color codded to them specifically? Draxum thought they were dead and didn’t know about splinter’s color coding thing.
This is mostly speculation (and a bitttt of a reach) , but like what if they were made to channel magic, and when the boys walked in their magic like,,,, locked onto the weapons closest to their old ones and “claimed” them so to speak. So that’s why they were glowing each boy’s color. (And ok yeah they are also physically colored but shhhhh let me dream maybe they were made of like. Magic metal that turned the same color as their auras or smthn)
Ppl say that the fact that splinter can use Leo’s sword means that the power comes from the sword. But if Leo uses it a lot couldn’t it make sense that the power like,,,,, came from him but was left on the sword in a way? Like if some magic was left on it, in theory someone else could use it
Ok that’s also maybe a reach lol. Alternatively:
We only see splinter use the sword. He was mutated in the same experiment and has the same dna as the boys. Maybe we were all wrong about it being a mutant thing, and it’s actually a Hamato clan thing??
Bc like. We know there’s magic in the family (the scrolls). And it’s not like we saw April using the sword, or hell even one of the other boys! We have no clue if they can use eachother’s weapons. It’s been mentioned but never tried
Maybe splinter had magic all along, and when they were mutated it was passed to the boys? It’s possible he has like,,,, ig all 3/(maybe 4) powers, but it’s also possible that general magic runs in the fam and he had the same powers as Leo
Like. There’s a lot about splints we don’t know. And when he picked up the sword he opened a portal completely accurately, within inches of a teapot on a counter, using a completely different technique from Leo. Wouldn’t it make sense if he had practice??? Cus Leo can’t even be accurate to the right fucking country
Anyway. Yeah. Think about that.
I’m too tired to think of a segue. So.
If the powers belong to the boys ig would make sense that Donnie has a power. Probably a more idle/ non directly combative one (like warren’s regen and sunita’s squishy ness)
I propose spacial manipulation or time manipulation as like. Possibilities. Even if that stays purely fannon lol it explains how he fits so much in his bo + gets so much insane shit done so fast
Or it could be smthn related to the crystal. Bc his ability to read magic signatures doesn’t come up that much but I hope it does more. Also if reading magic signatures was a him thing it would make sense bc he was gonna make goggles for everyone else but never did
On a related note- Donnie having an idle sort of magic makes a lot of sense bc as the show goes on the bois are shown to be unlocking more powers, even if it’s shown more through the animation than the text.
Raph starts w/ just super powered punches, then is later able to make full body giant projections of himself, + almost like extra or prosthetic body parts??? (When he tickles shredder) + his powers sometimes seem to have an explosive/ electrical side effect (first time using them, silver fish in late fee, I’m pretty sure they’re are some others) which may be just artistic liberties but who knows??
Leo suddenly has a huge speed boost when he’s getting good w/ his powers. Sure, speed doesn’t = portals/ teleportation exactly but if he were say like,,,, teleporting a few times super short distances while running it would look like he was just running super fast. Also he has the ability to edit portals now??? (Shifts it during battle nexus fight) + the ability to have multiple open at a time when he could barely do 1 at first
(I’m very proud)
Also Mikey!! He’s shown to have both the fire and physics manipulation w/ his weapon from like day 1 (getting dragged around draxum’s lab, stopping the tank in mutant menace, throwing a fucking cargo ship) but his ability to just. Flip off the laws of physics grows exponentially
So if Donnie got some new powers it would still be balanced lol
Also I wouldn’t be suprised if the boys continue to find new ways to use their powers!! Both by just figuring out new shit they can do like raph w/ the projections, and by using their powers in creative ways like Leo and the helmets during the battle nexus fight
Also also, Mikey seems to have both a elemental and physical power, maybe the others do too?? Cus raph has his electricity details and shit Idk. This is like 97% me hoping and 3% evedence 😂
Ok so sorry this is a total mess. Like I said it’s part real evedence part my own bs ideas and theories,,,,

Omg can I get smth about being stuck in a locker with bird boy because the door are actually stuck? OwO thanks!
AAAHAHAHAHA poor Eli-
Word Count: 816
Pronouns: They/Them
Y/N = Your name
The hunter was bound to find (Y/N) soon. While they did manage to escape through the portal and knew Leo wasn’t right behind them, it was only a matter of time until he was able to walk over to where the portal brought (Y/N) to due to the completed ciphers making it difficult for him to teleport anywhere near the area.
Quick thinking led them to run away from where they ended up, taking in account of where Leo last was. It didn’t take long, however, for their heart rate to accelerate and soon feel the looming dread that was detention assisting Hell Ember in taking down the survivor. With no where else to run… eyes fell upon a locker. While it was a tough gamble, it was still worth a shot.
The door creaked open and soon (Y/N) hopped in and shut the door. Despite their attempts to make it as silent as possible, fear of being caught caused them to slam the door a bit too hard. Cursing under their breath, eyes went to go look out the window before (Y/N) backed up into something…
..soft?
“(Y/N)...” That deep voice sounded surprised… and rather confused. Turning around, (Y/N) could just barely make out the blue robes and unmistakable blindfold with the strange white marking upon it.
It was Eli Clark, the Seer.
“M-my bad…” (Y/N) apologized. They were about to explain themselves, but when the red light of death known as the fear radius came into view, a gloved hand shot forward and covered their lips while another held (Y/N) close. After a few seconds, the arm keeping (Y/N) close to Eli was moved to cover the Seer’s own breathing in an attempt to successfully hide from the hunter.
It felt like ages until Leo finally stepped back, going off to find where the others were before they could escape possibly. With a quick movement, he placed a puppet down and gave it life to move around, patrolling the area for his prey that seemed to have escaped. After that was done, he vanished off in the black and red light of teleport.
Once the puppet and hunter were out of sight, Eli retrieved his hands with a sigh. “...Thank goodness… (Y/N), are you alright?”
“Yeah. What about you? What are you doing in here?” They already knew Eli’s reason for being in the locker was the same as their own- hiding from a detention-fired up Hell Ember from stealing victory right under their noses.
Sure enough, that was his response,. According to Eli, he had Brooke go block a hit for someone before the Seer went into the locker. “Hasn’t came back since. I ought to get out so she can find me.”
“That and so we can escape… again, I’m really sorry.”
Eli gave a slight smile as he shifted around (Y/N) to get close to the doors. It was a semi-cramped space… almost like a closet, but taller. “Don’t fret. No harm done.” His hands go to push it open but…
Nothing.
“...That’s odd.” Eli tilted his head and pushed again, harder this time. After some brute force didn’t work, he had to lean up against the back of the locker to catch his breath. “Why isn’t it…”
“Let me try.” (Y/N) spoke and was up next. They moved around and began to push on the door, but no dice. “Is it really-”
“Stuck? You did slam it shut rather hard…” Eli gave a nervous look at (Y/N) before looking back through the door’s holes. “...What if we tried together?”
“Alright…”
With that, the two shuffled until they stood side by side, backs against the wall. On the count of three, they both charged at the doors with all their might. It did budge, but not enough that the two fell out flat onto their chests.
The Seer gritted his teeth, holding his one shoulder in pain. “That’s going to leave a mark…”
“What are we going to do?” (Y/N) questioned. Their own arm began to ache due to the extreme amount of force put into trying to open the locker. “Leo just teleported away and god knows where Fiona and Mike are.”
There was some silence before Eli sighed, leaning against the locker’s side. “...Hate to say it, but we’ll have to wait for the crows’ call to lead Leo over here… he should be able to pry it open.”
“Harsh, but…” (Y/N) took the other side of the locker, trying to make sure Eli had his space. “...Not sure what else to do.” Upon saying that, a gentle hand patted (Y/N) upon their head.
“Don’t fret. These lockers are rather old and hardly ever get used… try to be a bit more gentle with closing them, alright?”
“Will do, Owl Boy.”
“...Owl boy?”

Roman!!! Darling!! Can you tell us about Thomas? Any legends about him, perhaps? ♥️
(Yall, this one is so long. HUGE lore under the cut)
~~~
Roman: “Any legends about Thomas??” Are you joking? Do you really not know?! He’s only got the coolest Rulership origin story known to mankind! Intrigue, adventure, romance, betrayal, all the works~!
(Roman laughs and sweeps his cape up with a flourish, sitting down on a nearby bench with one leg crossed over the other, like a teenager about to spill gossip.)
Roman: You might want to sit down, dear listeners, because this is a tale for the ages~! I will tell it how it was told to me; starting with our antagonist: The dastardly Lord Donovan Sanders…
Roman: You see, Thomas wasn’t always heir to the throne, or even in line! His family was influential, and he was always trained to be a lord of the realm and member of the council, but he had no relation to the royal family. His Uncle Donovan was a member of the council, but he wasn’t happy with that; He wanted to be King. Not just King, he wanted to be a dictator!
Roman: He wasted no effort in courting the current heir, Princess Malinda. He convinced her that he loved her, and she loved him in return, but it was clear to anyone who knew him that he was playing it up for her. Thomas noticed this, and he already knew his Uncle to be cruel and greedy, but he knew he would never have the chance to warn Malinda, or even speak with her alone.
Roman: When the Princess and Lord Donovan got engaged, it only got worse. He played the same ‘innocent’ bit in front of his betrothed, but behind closed doors, there was something off… He was neglecting his duty as protector of the peace, and people had started to go missing in town. The palace guard were corrupt and mean, and Thomas knew nothing good was going to come from his Uncle’s rule if this was allowed to continue.
Roman: So, with the help of his exceptionally stealthy best friend Joan, Thomas snuck into his Uncle’s office! They rifled through his letters and papers, and uncovered an evil plot to take over the country and sacrifice the residents to an entity known as The Shaman, in exchange for otherworldly magical powers and an iron-fisted rule over the coast.
Roman: The letters were written cryptically and none of them were signed, but Thomas and Joan knew what they were looking at was his Uncle’s doing, and it all lined up too perfectly with the sudden disappearances of his outspoken political opponents and activists… The problem was, they couldn’t use anything they’d found as proof. And, who should show up and discover them in their snooping but a member of the royal guard?
Roman: They fought their way free with the help of a town arcane scholar, Talyn, and ran away into the night! After a message to Thomas’s parents warning them to move away for the time being and remain safe, they were off to find this Shaman and put an end to Donovan’s plans before they could begin!
Roman: They faced various trials and tribulations on their way around the country and through various planes, gathering new allies everywhere they went: An Elven barbarian by the name of Quill, a cleric of Sune named Adri – She’s a heartwarder now, I know her! She’s lovely~ Anyway, back to the story –the fledgling Goliath knight Leo, the performative bard Terrence, the monk Dominic, the druidess Dhalia, and the fencing squire Camden!
Roman: As their journeys continued, each of his new companions came to swear oaths of fealty to Thomas, recognizing him as their King instead of Donovan, before anyone even knew Thomas would be a king someday – this was the strength in their belief in him! At the same time, Joan and Talyn fell deeply and passionately in love~ Every story needs a romantic subplot, and let me tell you, those two are absolutely adorable!
Roman: The ten of them worked together, facing hordes of beastly monsters, underhanded traps, and trained assassins – but slaying only who they could not first convince; You see, Thomas is a pacifist, and turned to violence only as a last resort! If he had his way, he would simply convince the Shaman that what they were doing was wrong, and needed to end. This would never be possible, but such is our sweet Thomas~
Roman: Eventually, they reached the belly of the beast. The Shaman – a giant, sharp-clawed serpentine beast with a human’s torso, serpent’s tail and head, and five dragon’s heads sprouting alongside it – stood in a bloodbath of what had to be hundreds of missing citizens and his own cultists, having sacrificed all of them to open the portal!
Roman: Before it could be opened fully, however, our team of heroes attacked! As the others fought him off to keep his several heads busy, Druidess Dhalia used her magic to send Thomas into the beast’s head, to confront him alone in a mind palace of sorts. Thomas desperately tried to reason with him, but the Shaman was murderous, remorseless, and completely and utterly insane. And, the longer Thomas spent sharing in the space of his mind, the more it ruined Thomas’s own sanity! After all, the creature was still trying to channel that portal, and thus his mind was open to the Far Realm.
Roman: But, this effort was not wasted – while inside his brain, Thomas learned that this being had effectively turned itself immortal. He could not be killed, but he could be contained, and sealed away for eternity! Thomas released his hold on the creature’s mind, and while the fighters destroyed the body, Thomas and the other spellcasters focused on creating a Horcrux to contain his soul – a crystal of sorts, that could never be broken by mortal hands, and would be hidden in the royal vault and never see the light of day again.
Roman: Unfortunately, mad as he was, the Shaman caught on to their plan. As the last of the beast’s strength left him, the Shaman tried to cast a spell to flee. Both his spells and Thomas’s were completed at the same time.
Roman: The Shaman, his dastardly Far Realm magics, and the contaminated energy of the portal he was attempting to create were trapped in the crystal, never to be seen again; Meanwhile, Thomas and company were teleported to the place where the Shaman was trying to go – right outside a Dark Elf Kingdom.
Roman: Immediately, they were surrounded by the guards, and a Priestess was summoned to deal with them. Thomas had enough energy left for one big spell – a Teleportation spell of his own – but there was a catch: It could only take nine people.
Roman: In a heroic display of self-sacrifice, Thomas warped all of his injured companions back to his home on the surface, and faced the priestess alone. She was furious to learn that Thomas had slain the Shaman, who she regarded as her own flesh and blood, and even more furious to learn that he was the nephew of Donovan – That’s right, folks! All three of them were in on this together!
Roman: For some reason, due to his relation to Donovan, the Priestess was unable to harm Thomas. She jailed him while she sent correspondence to her only surviving partner in crime, giving Thomas time to formulate an escape! Of course, he defaulted to his signature move; befriending the people around him~ He made allies of a few fellow prisoners, and they organized a massive breakout, where Thomas was able to flee the prison.
Roman: As he snuck alone, abandoned by the other prisoners, through the streets of the kingdom, he heard that the Priestess was furious – after all, she had just gotten his Uncle’s explicit encouragement to slay him. He heard next that she had ordered her fiercest dog after him; her most heartless, lethal man-hunter. He was called Anxiety, supposedly for the lingering dread the mere mention of his name caused in potential victims, and his sudden and ruthless attacks!
Roman: Thomas would have just teleported himself to safety, but something had happened to his magic after the thing with the Shaman, and he couldn’t get a single spell to work after that night. To this day, he still can’t cast unless he’s on his medicine.
Roman: Thomas made it to the surrounding woodlands before he was caught by the hitman, but it’s a wonder he made it that long: Thomas had been suffering from splitting headaches ever since he had tied his mind to the Shaman’s, the whispers louder than he had ever experienced in his life, and no way to quiet them. He hardly got sleep, and his own anxiety was not helped by the hundreds of daily warnings that his Hunter was getting closer and closer every second.
Roman: So, of course, he was caught. He closed his eyes against the sting of the voices in his head, and when he opened his eyes, there was a young Drow with an arrow trained on Thomas’s heart. Thomas flew into a panic attack, and who knows how long the assassin sat there, just… Watching.
Roman: Then – and every time Thomas gets to this part he looks just as surprised as he did the day it happens, you should see his little face! – the soldier put away his weapon, sat in front of Thomas, and helped him breathe.
Roman: When Thomas asked why the soldier helped him, he wouldn’t answer – just told Thomas to go get some rest, and be ready to leave in the morning.
Roman: Suffice to say, Thomas was terrified. But, he was in to state to fight the soldier, and did as he was told. The next day, when the soldier started leading Thomas onward, Thomas knew that the soldier wasn’t taking him back to the kingdom to be slaughtered. For whatever reason, he was going to help Thomas escape.
Roman: They traveled together for the next few months, and though the soldier still terrified Thomas, he slowly grew fond of him, and got him to open up. He explained, after no short amount of coaxing, that he hated his Priestesses, and wasn’t going to kill Thomas just because he was demanded to. When he had found Thomas, he was ‘just a scared, crying child, who didn’t even have a single weapon on him.’ Thomas was grateful for the compassion, though he couldn’t help but point out that the soldier seemed to be just as young as Thomas, by his race’s standards. Thankfully, that made the soldier laugh, not kill Thomas for the audacity (which only occurred to Thomas as a possibility after he said it out loud)
Roman: The soldier and Thomas grew very close. He would carry Thomas when the whispers made it too hard to move, fight off anything that threatened him, and lull him to sleep when he was too scared to get rest – Usually, here, Thomas will start complaining about how the soldier himself refused to sleep, it is very cute, if a bit hypocritical of him~
Roman: But, of course, this couldn’t last. When they finally reached a tunnel entrance back to the prime material plane, the soldier insisted they split ways, and Thomas go find his friends topside. Thomas tried to convince his new fire-forged friend to accompany him, but the soldier was still having trouble abandoning the only life he’d ever known, and besides, he had never seen the surface before. Thomas had just convinced the soldier to come with him when they were attacked by dark elf assassins, ones that had been sent after Thomas when Anxiety had taken too long to return. The soldier pushed Thomas towards the tunnel and yelled for him to run, promising he would be right behind him. Thomas knew he was lying, but he was too scared to argue. As the soldier stood his ground and guarded the entrance, Thomas fled. Thomas never heard from him again…
Roman: Thomas was found by some friendly locals outside the cave he crawled out of, and they recognized the crest on his pin, and took him to his parents. When he was reunited with his family and friends, he was informed of what had happened when he was gone:
Roman: His Uncle had tried to murder now-Queen Malinda the night of their wedding, but her and her sisters – including Lady Valerie, my relative, and new friend of Thomas and the crew – had fought him and his soldiers off, and taken control of the country with the aid of Thomas’s parents. Queen Malinda visited her nephew to thank him for all he had done, having been informed of everything by the others, and told him she had named him her heir - he would have some training to do over the next three years!
Roman: Thomas healed from his wounds, and told the story of what happened to him after they were separated to his friends, who then spread the story of their exploits across the country! In three years time, at the peaceful passing of his Aunt, Thomas was sworn in as King – with his fellow retired adventurers among his court, minus one or two who went their own ways – and he’s been a well respected leader ever since!
(Roman stretches and smiles, as if genuinely worn out by his storytelling and gesticulating)
Roman: Ahh, such a good story! I’d tell you more about the individual adventures if I had time~! I get Thomas to re-tell it for me all the time, it draws such genuine emotion out of him! He has such strong love for all of his friends, including the ‘hired hitman turned pseudo-bodyguard.’
Roman: I have to admit, that character specifically was always quite attractive to me, the way he was described and all that~ Letting Thomas lean on him, protecting him, real ‘I’m going to act like a dangerous loner because I have a shady past, but actually I’m really soft and chivalrous’ archetype, like the cute bad boys in romance novels! I’ve always wanted to meet him, though I know he’s probably…. Well, not anywhere near here, if even alive.
Roman: Anyway, there’s your story~! Now you know a bit more about Thomas! And at this point, if you don’t absolutely love him, you’re just wrong, my friend~
“Raaammmieeellllll!” A familiar sounding voice whispered into her ear. Ramiel stirred in her slumber, but didn’t open her eyes, nor did she sit up from her bed to greet the visitor. She was fully aware of who they where, and if she had learnt anything from them, it was that giving them no reaction at all was often the best choice to take. It went quite for a few minutes, before something poked her cheek “Raaammieeeeelll!!” The voice sang, poking her cheek with a huge child like grin on their face, seeming to not understand that the said sleeping angel wanted them to go away. Ramiel’s brows furrowed a bit, and she tried to shove away their hand with her shoulder, alas, her attempts were futile. Once again silence, and Ramiel shifted back into a comfier position to sleep...until “Ramiel Ramiel Ramiel Ramiel Ramiel Ramiel Ramiel Ramiel-“ The cheek poking became repetitive, and soon became quickly affective at waking her up. Any other angel would have reacted with annoyance and even anger, (obviously), but for Ramiel, she had come to accept this as simply being one of the many morning greetings from her friend. And the said friend was none other than: “Jevil..” “Good morning dearest!!~” The mighty god of chaos sang cheerfully, casually floating above her and smiling ear to ear. Ramiel groaned sleepily, reaching for her glasses as she shifted into a sitting position. “So good to see you! Why! It feels like it was an eternity since we last saw each other! Don’t you think?” “..We saw each other yesterday” Ramiel said blankly, stating an obvious fact Jevil sighed “Oh how time flies!” Rolling over in the air, Jevil laid on his back, folding his arms behind his head and throwing one leg over the other, tail swaying slowly. “Hmm..” Jevil tapped his chin, darting his eyes up and down Ramiel’s exhausted look: with her usually neat and finely combed brown hair now a messy tangle of nots, her smart attire now just a simply blue night vest, and the droopy look in her expression, like she was struggling to stay awake. “Though I must be honest with you, you have been better looking!“ he batted his hand, still smiling “Now don’t take that to heart! It’s just that in my professional opinion, you’ve always suited having the smart and intellectual look over the morning bed head look.” Ramiel cocked her brow, unamused “..That’s because it’s midnight Jevil.” She directed a hand to her window, where the night sky twinkled down on the whimsical land of heaven. Jevil let out a small cackle, and leaned his noodle cat like body down near Ramiel “I knew a smart cookie like you would point that out!” Jevil offered several pats to Ramiel’s head, beaming at her like a mother would with their child. Leaning away, Jevil crossed his arms, gesturing with one hand “Yes I figured you’d be a little bit salty with me for showing up so horrifically early - but sadly, altering the cycle of the sun isn’t something a-“ he made quotation marks “-‘reformed god’ does. After all-“ Jevil pulled a sassy grin, expecting his nails coyly “I am reformed!” He snapped his fingers, conjuring up a halo above his head “..Well, apparently not breaking into friends houses still needs work” “Ah-Ah-Ah!” Jevil wagged his finger “Whoever said it was a forced entry?” Jevil paused, before jabbing a thumb down the hallway “The kitchen window was open.” Ramiel pinched the skin between her nose, huffing under her breath. “What is it you want Jevil?..” she asked, tiredness still evident in her voice. The god smiled happily, clapping his hands together eagerly “Isn’t it obvious dear? Why, I’ve come to deliver little Leo’s birthday gift!!” Silence hung in the room, and Ramiel blinked, genuinely unsure if Jevil was being serious. But when Jevil only continued to smile and wait for her response... “..Jevil..You do know that babies usually aren’t..awake at midnight.” “Yes.” Jevil answered politely, curiously inspecting the pillows on the end of Ramiel’s bed “..And that Leo’s birthday party doesn’t start until lunch time, correct?” “At 2pm sharp!” Jevil added formly Ramiel held her hands together, inhaling a calming breath, before she dipped then like a steeple “..So dont you think it would be better if you gave Leo your gift..at the party?” She paused, and took that moment to glance momentarily out of her window “..When the sun is up.” Jevil let out a merry chuckle, rolling about in mid air as if he had just been told a hilarious joke, but Ramiel remained looking unamused, her brow raised at her friends behaviour. “Ramiel Ramiel Ramiel!” Jevil sang, teleporting to Ramiel’s side in a flash of light “My dear DEAR friend-“ He slung an arm round Ramiel’s shoulders “You underestimate the sheer love and affection I have for your son! After all - I DID make a vow to be his godfather, did I not?” “It was more like begging.” Ramiel correcting “Details details.” Jevil rolled his eyes. “Besides, I most sadly wont be able to attend the delightful celebration.” He held the back of his hand to his head “Truly tragic, a party is never a party without dancing tea cups and cotton candy rabbits” Ramiel sat their staring in surprise. When did Jevil ever miss a party? More so, when did Jevil ever miss any of Leo’s parties! Ramiel couldn’t find any reason why Jevil wouldn’t be able to attend, she knew perfectly well Jevil didn’t care for doing chores or errands for anyone unless she persuaded him too, and Jehovah had banned any chaotic magic on the main land, so he had not chaotic work to do. “..Why won’t you be attending?” She finally asked Jevil was quite for a brief moment, his ears lowering a little, before he quickly flashed a grin and patted her shoulder “Oh it’s nothing to worry about! I simply misplaced my butterfly sandwich catching net at the bottom of the upside down lake!” He faked slapped his hand, throwing his head back a tad “I’m such a butter fingers! And I can’t attend a party without my butterfly sandwich catching net! After all, catching the sandwich’s rather then devouring them straight away is much more fun!” Ramiel had the sneaky suspicion that maybe that wasn’t the true reason, and her expression must have said so, because as soon as Ramiel went to speak, Jevil beat her to it. “Well then-“ he floated upwards, and pulled a goofy looking alarm clock from his pocket “It seems I’ve jabbered long enough!” He shook the clock near his ear and listened to the rythmatic tic tocking, before shoving it back inside its rightful pocket. “I had better deliver my gift!” He held up a finger as he spoke “Now: I want my gift to put to full use! By the time the clock strikes midnight tomorrow, the gift shall be of no more use!” “..No more use?-“ “And I want to also add, this is quite the generous gift, and I’m not quite used to being this giving.” He held a hand to his chest “And although you are not one for pestering Ramiel, do not expect me to be giving this gift back willy nilly.” Ramiel blinked “..What do you mean by-“ “And there of course shall be no magical side affects!” “..Magical...side affects?” Ramiel suddenly became uneasy, and a pit settled on her gut “..From..what?” Jevil scoffed “From the gift! Do pay attention Ramiel.” Jevil cracked his fingers, and then rubbed his hands together, tail wagging, clearly excited to give this mysterious gift “Now then! I shan’t waste anymore of your time Ramiel! After all, you’ll need to be looking your best for the party!” Jevil held up his fingers and prepared to snap, closing his eyes, but paused to quickly add “Oh! And do save me a slice of cake and sandwiches!” “Jevil wait!-“ Snap. The floating god snapped his fingers. Ramiel expected some kind of dramatic explosion of confetti or for a massive plush toy to appear in the far corner..but to her surprise, nothing happened. Eyes remaining closed, Jevil rummaged around in his pocket again, pulling out a small silver zip “Delivery, officially delivered!” He praised outload, before he let the zip float in front of him. He pulled the zip down, creating an opening back into his chaos realm “Toodle-loo!~” He said with a waggle of his fingers, before he stepped through the portal, as it shut neatly behind him. Ramiel stared at the spot where Jevil once was, all that remained now where some sparkles that gradually disappeared. Jevil’s instructions ran through her head, the cogs turning as she tried to piece it all together. What kind of gift had Jevil gotten? What did he mean by no magical side affects? Had Jevil..put a spell on Leo! Now that she thought about it she realised it wouldn’t be such a surprising thought, Jevil did enjoying using his magic to its full use, but if so, then what kind of spell had he casted? She knew it wouldn’t be anything dangerous, Jevil wasn’t THAT careless! Especially when it came to Leo. ...Ramiel exhaled a long breath “Well...guess I’ll just have to find out” she said to herself, before placing down her glasses, and drifting back into sleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~ “And after that he just..left?” Ramiel nodded with an ‘mhm’, placing down a second bowl of crisps on the table. Her two eldest brothers exchanged confused looks “Hmm, odd..” Baraquiel adjusted his glasses, thinking for a moment longer before he spoke “Mister Jevil has always been a peculiar person but..it’s not like he would miss Leo’s birthday party for nothing.” “And you’re SURE he was making up an excuse?” Nathanial asked while turning to his sister, who only nodded. Both brothers hummed, and then exchanged looks once again, like they where having a telepathic conversation. “He told me he misplaced his net by the upside down lake..” Ramiel idly traced her finger round the edge of one of the plastic party cups, sighing quietly “But...something told me he was lying..” Ramiel fell silent, and let out another quite sigh, shifting a few things about on the table, trying to find something to keep her mind off the topic. Baraquiel cleared his throat, and then walked up to Ramiel, Nathanial soon following his lead “I’m sure Jevil will come along in his own time” “Yeah, you know him” Nathanial said paired with a shrug “Always fashionably late.” Ramiel peered up at her siblings, and tried her best to smile, it was still clear she was upset - Baraquiel and Nathanial wanted to try and reassure Ramiel further, but the two decided against it, perhaps it would be best to leave the topic be for now. “Well..” Ramiel glanced to the clock briefly, and then peered back to her siblings “The guests will be here soon, could you two finish with the food?..I’m going to go and wake Leo.” Ramiel could vaguely hear Nathanial and Baraquiel agreeing as she walked off down the hallway, but her mind was elsewhere, and she hardly heard what it was they said. Her mind was pondering on the question she’d be asking herself for the whole of that morning: Why had Jevil lied? The god of chaos worked in mysterious and unexplainable ways, and no one truly knew what it was that he was planning or going to do next. But for Ramiel, things where different. She had picked up on certain behaviours of his, and how he acted in different scenarios. At this stage, Ramiel was confident that she could read Jevil like a book. And her gut was telling her for sure that Jevil hadn’t been honest with her. But why? Why would Jevil had needed to lie? Did he simply not want to attend the party? Was he nervous about the angels that would be showing up? Was he nervous he may make the party worse with his magical antics? The last option seemed like it could have been a reason, but Ramiel soon thought against it, Jevil was never really shamed to show off his abilities. However, with 2pm drawing closer and the party almost ready, there was no time for her to find Jevil and question his actions. ‘I suppose I could talk about it with him later..maybe he will show up, Jevil is very fond of parties after all’ she told herself Approaching the door to her sons room, she could already hear the familiar gurgling and babbling coming from inside. Smiling, Ramiel reached for the door handle and then poked her head inside “Good morning Leo” the birthday boy was sitting up in his crib, back facing his mother as he waved his stuffed bear enthusiastically, giggling away. Ramiel couldn’t help but snicker as she walked inside the room, reaching into her sons crib and lifting him up to cradle him “Happy birthd-“ Ramiel’s words got caught in her throat, and in that second, if felt as if even the earth itself had stopped moved. For in her arms, staring back at her with child like glee, love, and curiosity - where two pink, spiral eyes. Jevil’s eyes Leo waved his tiny hands up at the face of his mother, wanting to touch her face. Lost in both wonderment and pure fear, Ramiel slowly lifted Leo up to her, just like how she would do every morning so that he could tell if it was her. Leo drooled on his onesie sleeve, and then reached a curious hand out, grabbing his mothers cheek. Ramiel felt a fresh bulk of tears gathering in the corner of her eye when a lob sided smile pulled at her little angels lips He let out a gurgly giggle, hands freely roaming her face as he felt at her cheeks, forehead and glasses. He soon began to nom on some strands of her hair, but she didn’t care, she choaked back a sob, her lips curling up into a smile. “Ramiel?” Nathanial poked his head into the room, his brother senses kicking in when he heard her light sobbing from the hallway. Concern growing he quickly walked over to her, soon followed by Baraquiel. Once the two where close to her, their eyes widened to the size of plates when they saw Leo with bright pink eyes. He gurgles at the two new faces, reaching curious hands out to both of them. “W-What..” Nathanial pointed a slightly trembling finger at his nephew “What happened to his..eyes?” Baraquiel, compared to Nathaniel looked much more calmer, and slowly waved his finger in front of Leo from side to side, the baby followed his finger, and then grabbed it with a giggle. He hummed “It...seems he can see.” He said, half lost for words “..Jevil’s eyes” “..What?” Nathaniel gave his sister a cocked brow Ramiel smile grew more, as she finally brought Leo close to cradle him, the curious tot was peering all around the room, taking in the new sights that he could not see before. Ramiel lowered her head to gently kiss his forehead, and it earns her a string of giggles and tiny excites claps. “They’re Jevil’s eyes...His gift!” It all finally clicked into place, and Ramiel suddenly realised what gift Jevil had given. “He said there would be no magical side affects..I, assumed he had casted some spell, but..” she paused, before sniffling, and wipping at her eye “I didn’t except anything like this!” Once again she drew Leo closer to her, hugging him with the most tender loving care, showering his forehead with kisses, and little Leo happily took the attention from his precious mother. Nathanial And Baraquiel, gradually recovering from their shock, eagerly knelt a little to make eye contact with Leo, who glanced to his Uncles. “Hey there little dude! What’s it like to see now huh?” The only response Nathanial got was incoherent babbling, but it sounded happy, so he’d take it. He let out a rare chuckle, before he moved out of the way for Baraquiel to say hello. “Hello there little one!” Once again, Baraquiel reaches out his finger and gently tickled Leo’s stomach. The baby let out a squeaky laugh, before grasping at Baraquiel’s finger. Ramiel couldn’t help but snicker under her breath, unfolding her wings she gently pulled her two oldest brothers into a hug, eyes still smiling down at Leo with warmth and love. The moment was perfect, until a very ‘poof’ sound came from the lounge..followed by a thud and a groan All eyes went to the doorway of the bedroom, Nathanial felt his fingers curling into a fist was was prepared to throw a punch, but relaxed when very familiar and fuzzy face leaned into the doorway. “Ramiel!!~” Jevil greeted enthusiastically, waving four nets in his hand as he beamed a mischievous grin “I brought my sandwich catching net!! And lookie-“ He gestured to the other three “I brought spares!~ Who’d have know my sandwich nets where in my closet the whole time! Oh were going to have so much fun my dear!!” Jevil went to pat Ramiel’s head, only for him to pat nothing. Chuckling nervously, Jevil guided himself cautiously into the room, before he found who he guessed to be Ramiel from the sound of Leo’s gurgling, and patted her head softly. “Ah, I’m terribly sorry for that.” Jevil pointed to his eyes, that where now replaced with glassy shiny eyes, Leo’s eyes. “I may have made a slight misjudgement, this is a lot harder then I thought it would be.” There was a brief pause, and for a small moment, Jevil was worried he had said something wrong. His intrusion might have interrupt a sweet moment- Jevil felt something wrap around his middle, and then something fluffy resting on his back. He hummed, ears perked forward. He looked down where the sounds of Leo’s gurgling where strongest. Though he couldn’t see it, Ramiel was hugging him. One arm and wing wrapped around his back while the other arm held her son, who was still babbling away. Something warm began to grow in Jevil’s chest, it felt weird, but oddly nice. Smiling, Jevil reached a hand gently down to feel Ramiel’s head, before he carefully knelt down to wrap his arms and wings round her and Leo, returning to hug. Leo cooed, leaning his head to the side - he reached out a hand and rugged at one of Jevil’s feathers, causing him to flinch. “Oh don’t worry!” Jevil leaned back and balanced himself perfectly on his tail, leaning his head down to what he guessed was at eye level with Leo “Your old Uncle Jevil hasn’t forgotten about you!” Leo clapped his hands and kicked his legs excitedly, remembering Jevil’s voice almost instantly. With Ramiel’s help, she guided Jevil’s arms so that he was now cradling Leo. Jevil’s grin couldn’t have been more bright as he fondly nuzzled Leo, the enthusiastic tot cooed once again, hands reaching to Jevil’s cheeks to feel at his fur, the soft touch bringing back more memories of him. KNOCK KNOCK “Ah, must be the others.” Nathanial and Baraquiel walked to the doorway “We’ll let you guys catch up, see you two out there!” Nat said whip casually waving as he and his brother left out into the hallway. As guests filled up in the lounge, Jevil continued to coddle and dot over Leo, speaking in the most sugary sweet baby voice he could make. It was an amusing sight to see, the mighty lord of chaos fussing over a wee baby. Ramiel watched with a content smile, sighing quietly. “Well-“ Jevil snapped his digits, and the four sandwich catching nets magical materialised into his spare hand and Leo safely appeared in his mothers arms. “Aren’t we going to go and join the others? This IS a party after all!” Smile still present, Ramiel let Leo lean on her shoulder, lightly bouncing him in her arms “Yes, let us join them.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @cosmic-artzz I’M SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG! I had this idea ages ago and it was inspired by some RP’s me and Cosmic had over Twitter, involving my god of Chaos OC Jevil, and her angel OC’s Ramiel and her son Leo. I’m not sure when exactly Leo is born in Cosmic’s heaven AU, but this story probably takes place way in the future. To anyone who doesn’t know about these characters: Ramiel was assigned to be Jevil’s caretaker of sorts, so that Jevil can become reformed (I’m not sure if this is cannon in Cosmic’s main heaven AU or if this takes place in a completely separate AU) - I told Cosmic that Jevil would adore Leo, he’d trade his left arm and right leg of it make him happy. This is a story of Jevil generously leading Leo his sight for his birthday, while Jevil has Leo’s blindness for the day, but that won’t stop him from having fun! (sorry if some parts aren’t written well, I’m not that good at writing sappy stuff)
DO NOT REPOST/EDIT/COPY/TRACE MY ART, THE OC’S OR MY WRITTING!! Ramiel/Leo/Nathanial/Baraquiel - @cosmic-artzz Jevil - me
Stay With Me - Demon Leo AU - Chapter 16
hi~~~~!!!! I finished the chapter quicker than I thought so here ya go~ I will probably work on Vampire Taekwoon or Hongbin’s fic next. Who knows!
I hope you enjoy and please let me know what you think!!!
😈😈😈😈😈😈
Hakyeon kept his hand firm around your neck but, thankfully, you could still breathe. The lynx kept hissing and batting its paws at you. You tried to back up but Hakyeon wouldn't budge.
"Hakyeon, I swear, if you don't release her right now, I will not hold back."
"But I just want to talk to her. If she's a good girl, I'll give her back." He started to back away with you and you panicked. You struggled to get out of his arms but you didn't make much progress. The lynx came closer and swiped a paw at your leg, slicing the skin instantly. You cried out and Leo cursed.
"Hakyeon, this has gone too far. Look, we can talk but just let her go first. There's no use in anyone getting hurt." Smoke billowed around Leo's feet as he talked. His eyes were set on the scratch that you knew you had across your thigh.
Hakyeon's hand tightened on your throat slightly but then relaxed. You'd hoped he would let you go but instead, he turned you around to face him and he smiled.
Suddenly, Hakyeon's wings burst from his back and he quickly lifted you into the air. You screamed as you covered your hands with your face. Wind whipped past as Hakyeon flew as fast as he could. You could hear Leo and Ken yelling at Hakyeon from behind you both. You wanted to look but you didn't considering how fast Hakyeon was flying.
"My brothers may be able to teleport, but I have the fastest wings! Don't worry, beautiful, we're just gonna find a nice place to chat. Then, I'll give you right back."
"Pardon me if I don't trust you to do that."
"Aww, y/n, you're gonna hurt my feelings."
"Do you even have any?"
"If I didn't, you would have dropped from the sky already." Hakyeon's voice got quiet and strained. He was angrier than before now. Then you realized that you couldn't hear Leo or Ken anymore. You finally gathered the courage to look around and you gasped when you saw that you were no longer in the forest. This place was dark and looked as if a war had been fought. Buildings were half-charred. Trees were almost non-existent. There were also no people that you could see. Or more specifically, no humans. You saw plenty of demons roaming about with their wild hair and some even displayed their wings proudly.
Hakyeon descended from the sky and landed on the roof of a house high up on a cliff. When your feet touched the floor, you collapsed. Your body really did not like flying.
"Don't give up on me now, beautiful." He reached down and picked you up from the floor. You still tried to kick out of his hold but it was no use. He carried you down a flight of steps into a pristine living room. He deposited you on a sofa as he walked to a desk that held various containers of liquid. He grabbed one and poured the liquid into a glass. He walked over to you and handed the glass to you. You didn't take his offering, instead opting to glare at him.
"It's only water, y/n." He shrugged and placed the glass on the table next to the sofa. He crouched in front of you and looked at the scratch on your thigh caused by his lynx. He raised his hand towards it but you slapped it away.
"Don't touch me."
"You shouldn't leave that unhealed. It could get infected."
"This was caused by you and your mangy lynx. What makes you think I want you to help me or touch me?"
"She's not mangy." Hakyeon scoffed and walked to the chair opposite the sofa and sat down.
"Leo can heal it when he comes for me." You crossed your arms over your chest and ignored the pain in your leg.
"Oh, honey, he has no idea where this place is. As soon as we were clear of the forest, I went through a portal to get here. It will just be you and me until I decide to take you back. So, the sooner you tell me where my things are, the sooner you can go home."
"From what I understand, they aren't yours. They were my grandparent's. So, technically, it's mine. You have no claim over it." After you spoke, Hakyeon's hair stood out from his head and red smoke curled around his feet. Your breath hitched in you throat. You had never seen him like this and it make him look a hundred times more scary. Your heart started racing and you prayed that somehow Leo would find you.
"Y/N, you really are trying my patience. Sometime very soon, I will stop being so nice. If I have to torture you to get what I want, then so be it. I know your grandparents gave the items to you before they died. Those witches told me that much."
"The only thing my grandmother gave me before she died was a necklace. I had it for about a month before the person I thought was my mother took it away from me to sell it! Everything was taken from my room that day. I had nothing left!" Tears sprang to your eyes as you thought about your grandparents.
Hakyeon looked confused for a moment at your 'confession'. Only part of it was a lie. Your grandmother had given you a necklace and it was taken from you.
"You had nothing hidden away? Are you sure? Your mother seemed to think so. There was a secret compartment found in your room after you left to shack up with my brother in the woods." He smirked as if he was proud he had so much information on you.
"Yes, I had a hiding spot in my room in the closet. I had money in there that I was saving to leave that place. I'm sure they found that and used it, too." As you finished speaking the lynx walked slowly into the room. It hissed at you before crawling into Hakyeon's lap. The arrival of the lynx caused your body to involuntarily shake.
"You don't like my pet, do you?"
"I'm sure the feeling is mutual." You sneered as the lynx cuddled against Hakyeon as he stroked its fur.
"Aw, Sibena isn't all that bad. She just doesn't take to strangers and she's very protective of me. She knows you're causing me grief so she's naturally not happy about that." Hakyeon whistled and the lynx leaped from the chair and bounded over to you in a half a second. It jumped up on the sofa and snarled at you. You refused to look at it. Tears fell from your eyes like a waterfall as you stared at the floor, silently praying for Leo.
"Now, why don't you tell me the truth. If you do, Sibera just might want to be friends with you. Otherwise...well...she might be a little hungry. You don't need both of your arms, right?" You heard the smile in his voice but you couldn't even move to respond to him. You saw out of the corner of your eye as the lynx lowered her body and sniffed your arm. You closed your eyes and waited for her to attack.
Only a minute later, you heard a snarl and then you felt teeth on your arm. You gasped but it didn't bite down. It was just a warning. There was no where you could go. If Leo did know where this place was, he would have been here by now. You were a Hakyeon's mercy until he decided to take you back. But he would have to kill you before you told him where Ken's gifts were.
Suddenly, you heard a commotion from somewhere beyond the doors of the living room. You opened your eyes and looked around. Hakyeon stood and started towards the door.
"Sibena, stay." At Hakyeon's command, the lynx tightened its hold on you and you were sure it had broken the skin this time.
Before Hakyeon could make it to the door, the room went pitch black dark. You heard Hakyeon curse and then try to open the door, but you didn't hear it open. You couldn't see a thing. After a few seconds, you heard thunder rip through the room. Lightning strikes filled the large space. Short bursts of light allowed you to see Hakyeon still trying to open the door. The lynx still had your arm so you couldn't leave. Finally, the thunder and lightning stopped and the door crashed open. The door sent Hakyeon back onto the floor, dazed, and the lynx finally released your arm to move to stand next to him, intent on protecting him. He looked stunned so you took off for the door.
"Stop!" Hakyeon yelled after you but you still ran. You knew any second that the lynx would probably attack you but you had to try.
You had no idea where you were going. You just ran. At the end of the long hallway was a terrace. Seeing freedom in the doors, you took off for them. You burst through the doors and your body slammed against the balcony and you gasped when you looked down. The ground floor was farther than you thought. You swung your leg over the side of the balcony, intending to use the thin columns that were on either side of the balcony. You stopped when you noticed the demons below. They were aware of your presence now and were headed for you. You pulled your leg back and looked back towards the hallway. If you went back towards Hakyeon, you would have to deal with the lynx. You didn't know what to do.
You gasped when black smoke began to fill the terrace. You saw the lynx emerge from the room and look your way but it apparently couldn't see past the smoke. Small tendrils of the smoke curled around your legs and traveled up to your arms. You felt a presence at your back and you jumped. An arm snaked around your stomach and lips were at your ear.
"I'm here, my love." Leo spoke into your ear as your knees almost gave way in relief. You turned in his arms, tears falling as you saw that it really was him. Your arms went around him and he held you against him. In an instant you were back in the room where you had been with Hakyeon. He was pacing at the far end of the room.
"How in the hell are you here? I told no one about this place!"
"He didn't know, but I did." A dark voice spoke from the doorway and you looked around to see a tall demon dressed all in black, blue smoke swirling beneath him, and a large black dog at his side. His eyes were the same blue as the rest, so you assumed this was another brother. Judging by his appearance, you hoped this one was on your side.
"Ravi, my brother! I'm so happy to see you here! How did you know I was here?"
"Bullshit, you're not happy to see anyone. And you know that I know where every soul is on this earth. Imagine my surprise when my brothers come to Hell to find me and ask for a favor. But as soon as I heard your name, I was more than willing to help."
Leo took you to the sofa and made you sit down. He knelt before you and placed his hand over the scratch on your thigh, healing that before moving to your arm. The pain lessened with each second and you smiled at him. Once he was finished, he planted a kiss on your lips.
"But, Ravi, she has it! She has Ken's gift! It shouldn't be in the hands of a human. One of us should have it. It should go to the oldest!"
"It was Ken's gift to give, Hakyeon. Why can't you accept that?"
"Oh, right, I should have known. You always side with Ken. You never could say no to him." Hakyeon rolled his eyes and then looked at you. "This isn't over, beautiful. You should know that."
"Yes, it's over, Hakyeon. Unless you want to come visit me again. I can always find more work for you in Hell." Ravi laughed and you only caught a glimpse of his terrified reaction before you were instantly back in Leo's house.
Ravi and Ken had followed as well and Leo was busy checking you over again to make sure he had healed everything.
"I'm okay, Leo. You healed everything."
"I think he's looking for something else, y/n." Ravi spoke up but there was a slight amusement in his voice. You blushed once you understood his meaning. You swatted at Leo's hands and tried to walk away from him. He only settled to wrap an arm around your waist and secure you to his side.
"How did you know my name? Or did Leo tell you?"
"I knew it even before Leo told me. Like I reminded Hakyeon, I know every soul on Earth."
"Then.....you knew my grandparents?"
"Yes, I know your grandparents. I welcomed them not long ago and they beg me for information on you all the time."
"Wait, they're in Hell?! Did they do something wrong?!"
"No, my dear. Everyone who dies goes there. Consider it more as an Underworld more so than Hell."
"And.....my parents?" You spoke quietly, hoping not to anger him with too many questions. His large dog was only ten feet from you and you kept stealing glances at it. "I'm sorry if I asking too much."
"You don't have to worry about making Ravi mad. He's just a big ol' softie." Ken chuckled as Ravi turned to him and smacked him in the stomach.
"I have a reputation to uphold, idiot!" Ravi turned back to you and smiled. "But, he's right, if would take a lot to make me mad. And Spot, here, is just a big puppy dog. But he looks mean so he works well for intimidating people. And as for your parents...yes, they are with me."
A lump formed in your throat as all hope died that they were still alive. You simply nodded and tried not to start crying again.
"They ask me about you a lot. I am able to see people on earth and what they are doing. I told them that you had it rough at first but found a helpless little forest demon that was keeping you company. They were satisfied that you had found happiness. They are together with your grandparents."
Ravi's information made you smile. Although you missed them all terribly, it made you happy that they were together.
"Well, hopefully you didn't look last night, Ravi! I would hate for you to have to explain to Y/N's family what--" Ken's sentence was cut short when Leo released you and teleported over to him. Leo grabbed the back of Ken's neck and disappeared with him, most likely towards with farthest tree from the house.
Ravi shook his head at his brother's antics and then made his way over to you. Spot followed and nuzzled your hand with his nose. You jerked your hand back slightly but eventually petted his head very carefully. The dog whined and licked your hand.
"He likes you. Spot is a hell hound but he isn't a very good one. He would rather chew on shoes than chase after the evil people in Hell. So I keep him with me." Ravi inched closer and spoke softly. "Y/N, you must never let Hakyeon know that you have Ken's gift. There would be no reversing what he could do with it. Leo told me what you intend to do with it. I would recommend that you do that as soon as you can. It can only be used once and I would much rather that you use it instead. Leo knows how to call for me if you need anymore help."
You nodded at Ravi, thankful that he was not like his oldest brother.
"Ravi, you're too close to my woman. Don't you think your wife would mad?"
"You're married?!" You exclaimed, genuinely surprised.
"Yeah, spitfire of a woman that caught my eye on one of my trips to the surface. She gives me hell and keeps calling me a marshmallow, but I love her. I suppose I should get back, I left her in the middle of the night and she tends to give me the cold shoulder if I'm not there in the mornings." He winked at you and then turned to Leo.
"Ravi.....thank you. I never would have found her. I owe you one."
"Just keep her safe and don't let Hakyeon have his way. That will be enough." In a flash of blue smoke, Ravi disappeared.
Leo was instantly at your side. He didn't say a word, just cupped his hands around your cheeks and lowered his lips to yours.
