Unknown Mozart Music Discovered in Germany
A previously unknown piece of music likely composed by a teenage Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was recently uncovered at a library in Germany.
The piece, which dates to the mid- to late-1760s, consists of seven miniature movements for a string trio. It lasts around 12 minutes, researchers with the Leipzig Municipal Libraries said in a statement.
Researchers discovered the work at the city's music library while compiling the latest edition of the so-called Koechel catalog, the definitive archive of Mozart's musical works.
The piece is referred to as "Ganz kleine Nachtmusik" in the new Koechel catalog, according to the Leipzig libraries.
The Koechel catalog describes the piece as "preserved in a single source, in which the attribution of the author suggests that the work was written before Mozart's first trip to Italy", according to the municipal libraries.
The newly discovered manuscript, which consists of dark brown ink on medium-white handmade paper, was not penned by Mozart himself but is believed to be a copy made around 1780, the researchers said.
The young Mozart had been known to researchers up until now "mainly as a composer of piano music, arias and symphonies", Ulrich Leisinger of the International Mozarteum Foundation in Salzburg said in a statement.
A list by Mozart's father had alerted academics to the existence of "many other chamber music compositions" by the young artist, which were all thought to have been lost until the emergence of the string trio, Leisinger said.
"Since the inspiration for this apparently came from Mozart's sister, it is tempting to imagine that she kept the work as a memento of her brother," Leisinger said.
Born in 1756, Mozart was a child prodigy and began composing at a very early age under his father's guidance.
The piece was performed by a string trio at the unveiling of the new Koechel catalog in the Austrian city of Salzburg on Thursday. It will receive its German premiere at the Leipzig Opera on Saturday.

What inspired me to make my last post:
To bring attention to this because it actually inspired my last post since I'm a classical music fanatic and a Clockwork orange fanatic. I saw the news lines and instantly thought of this would probably be fitting for a clockwork orange and when I listened to it, it was absolutely beautiful, although it is not Beethoven.
Music from the German library, Leipzig Municipal Libraries, has found lost Beethoven music. It is refered to as "Ganz Kleine Nachtmusik". Sources say the piece is not manuscripted by Mozart himself, as it is unsigned and not made using the same paper or technique like other compositions he has made. The piece is around 12 minutes long and is tracked to the 1760s.

Do not take me for anything more than small research and heresay! I am a teenager and not a professional reporter, this is just for fun and to spread new information.
Please if you are skeptical and do your own research and it turns out some of this is false DM me, I will correct it! Even then, you should do your own research than trust a random teen on the internet.

Researchers discovered the work at the city’s music library while compiling the latest edition of the Köchel catalogue, the definitive archive of Mozart’s musical works.

It will receive its German premiere at the Leipzig Opera on Saturday.
The piece is referred to as Ganz kleine Nachtmusik in the catalogue, according to the Leipzig libraries.
The manuscript consists of dark brown ink on medium-white handmade paper and the parts are individually bound, they said.

"Hello everyone and welcome to the LAST DAY OF SEPTEMBER as we OFFICIALLY move into October! To kick off this new month, let's start by AMP-ing up our Week!"
To start, if you've followed this podcast for a while now, you probably know that I love music. Well, in MUSIC news - a previously unknown Mozart composition was discovered at Leipzig Municipal Library 200 years after the composer's death. Entitled Serenate ex C. and given the shorthand name “Ganz kleine Nachtmusik,” the piece was composed for a string trio and contains 7 separate movements and is roughly 12 minutes long. The first modern performance of it took place last week at the composer’s birthplace in Salzburg, Austria, and was carried out by students from the Johann Sebastian Bach School of Music.
youtube
It has been so long since I've had a chance to listen to a live orchestra - and I bet hearing a lost Mozart piece would be breath-taking~!
In science news - Are you familiar with the RGB color mode in digitial artwork? Well, scientists have unlocked something similar with their telescopes and wanted to investigate black holes. Linking together multiple radio dishes across the globe, using a technique called very-long-baseline interferometry (VLBI). To get higher-resolution images, astronomers have two options: increase the distance between radio dishes or observe at a higher frequency. This is the first time the VLBI technique has been successfully used at a frequency of 345 GHz. While the ability to observe the night sky with single telescopes at 345 GHz existed before, using the VLBI technique at this frequency has long presented challenges that took time and technological advances to overcome.
This achievement also provides another stepping stone on the path to creating high-fidelity movies of the event horizon environment surrounding black holes, which will rely on upgrades to the existing global array.
It's amazing the amount of things we are discovering every day! That's all for me today~
The final question to think about this week is: What is your planned Halloween costume? Last year I was a vampire, but I'm not sure what to do this year... Leave a comment with some suggestions~!
Remember to stay hydrated, know that you are loved, and I hope to see you again next time!

Imagine a world where a musical masterpiece, crafted by one of the greatest composers of all time, lay hidden, shrouded in the silence of time, waiting to be unearthed. This is precisely what happened recently when a hitherto-unknown piece by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Austrian musical genius, was discovered in the Leipzig Municipal Libraries. This newfound treasure, a 12-minute string trio…

The usual form in Old English was onginnen, perhaps “to open, open up,” and comparable to OHG in-ginnen “to cut open, open up.” It is odd — unfair? — that “ends” might be a noun, but not “begins.” There is however “The hard begin, that meets thee in the dore” in Spenser’s Faerie Queen (III, iii, 21).

CHOGM challenge pressure head sues blogger for libel
The pinnacle of the CHOGM 2015 task pressure, Phyllis Muscat, has filed a libel fit towards Malta Independent columnist Daphne Caruana Galizia, over claims that she took kickbacks from lodges on delegate bookings.
“The allegation that I demanded kickbacks is a malicious lie with the purpose to purpose grave damage to my reputation, as well as to distort human beings’ belief of the success outcome of CHOGM 2015,” Muscat stated. The CHOGM taskforce head said that the authorities were paid commissions recouped from profits made through the inns, to offset a part of the charges concerned in the hosting of the Commonwealth Heads of government Meetings. “The project pressure requested inn agencies to electronically switch the fee immediately to the authorities of Malta’s consolidated fund on the Principal Financial institution of Malta. No private advantage became crafted from any of these proceeds. This money owed were also audited by a certified company,” Muscat stated in a statement.
Muscat stated the story was certainly one of a series of faux tales “designed to be shared across all media platforms by means of others, with the aim of distorting humans’ notion.” In line with the accounts for the CHOGM occasion tabled in the House of Representatives, a few €4.7 million turned into spent on hospitality, €2.1 million on information services, €1.nine million on professional offerings, €1.5 million on personal emoluments, and €1.1 million on shipping.

The 2015 Budget estimates for the Office of the High Minister, below whose duty the organization of CHOGM fell, blanketed a provision of €4.five million in reference to web hosting the summit. However, government estimates after each CHOGM and the Valletta Summit on Migration put the price of website hosting them at between €10-€12 million. When shipping Malta infrastructural works are factored in, the 2 events price €17 million. The Sudden Blogger She’s retired, However still has her hand in actual estate.
