A woman who never thought about marriage fell in love with a man after a chance encounter and ended up getting married. This kind of thing is called 'en:縁' in Japanese, but it is a mystery why it is established. Singing is Le couple. It is a unit formed by two actual married couples. (They are currently divorced.) The name literally means "husband and wife" in French.

This song was the OP for an educational program called NHK's "Extracurricular Class- Welcome Senior".

結婚のことなど意識したこともなかった女性、偶然の出会いから男性に惹かれ、結婚するに至る。こういったことを日本語では「縁」というが、どうしてそれが成立するかは謎である。歌っているのは、Le couple。実際の夫婦２人で形成されるユニットである。（現在離婚している。）フランス語で「夫婦」というそのままの意味のネーミングだった。

この曲はNHK「課外授業　ようこそ先輩」という教育番組のOPだった。
