One of the greatest American hardcore DIY punk bands of all time . They embedded their fight against oppression, discrimination etc. right into their lyrics. Their music United a diverse audience around the world and their commitment to social justice, even raised money for MANY of the social issues .

How badass is THAT ! They even sang almost all their songs in Spanish !

Finding good tv or movies to watch during Hispanic heritage month is nearly impossible. All of the shows I see are either Hispanics in a lesser position to a superior (that happens to be white, no shade meant btw) and them trying their best at their job or Hispanics selling drugs or just Hispanics in badly written comedies.

Where’s my Hispanic heroes or just a normal Hispanic kid trying to deal with their family during their quincenera planning or something? I just want a Hispanic MC that isn’t in a badly scripted show or movie.

Nov 18’s pictures and videos of #AnaBarbara concert in Rosemont. Got tour shirt for $20. 2nd time seeing her sing! This time I got a seat close to her! Wish I could get a picture together with her and autograph but there wasn’t enough time! Maybe next time! Would be nice to got with some friends next time! Gracias por la música, mariachis! These are all good reasons, but also she has strong friendships and ability to broker peace between various nations. On the other hand, she is held back from being princess for many years and has everything managed by the royal council, until she becomes queen at the end. I'd love to see a whole season of her as queen, or maybe a flash forward when she has retired from the monarchy and Isabel is queen, kinda like what happened at the end of Disenchantment?
