The Vampire AU ... AU?!?!

What if after Andre's Bad Coven Experience™, instead of being found and cared for by two loving caring romantic vampire coven leaders (Levi/Izzy) he gets found and brought into a Morally Dubious big powerful coven, that will eventually help him to take revenge on the ones that wronged him, hm? What then???

@duck-n-clover and I put some new OCs into the Vampire AU. The last picture is a chart they drew of that new coven, and as you can see Andre is kinda there. :) While we kinda knew what the new guys would be doing, we couldn't figure out how to get fully Into It. So, we made this Canon Divergent AU so we could throw Andre into the mix. Since we know his vamp story sooo well, it was easy to spark some bigger ideas! Andre will meet this crew in the Original Vampire AU, but in the New AU he'll actually join their coven! As expected I am always obsessed with Andre so I drew him a bunch, with Takeshi (and Landon) who first found him starved and covered in blood and ash when Andre's old coven's hideout got burned down (Andre clearly didn't trust Takeshi at first, oops); with his new crush Teddy, always feeding off each others yummy blood; and his friend and Vampire Nepo Baby Sammy, who maybe only seems important in this coven because one of his dads is the big scary bossman! But he has fun! 😇 Plus a hair growth chart, what with his mess of hair having to be all cut off and regrown after he was first found. 😔

The original AU with Levi and Izzy is the Lover AU, which makes this the Fighter AU. Xavier is training him up and he's gonna get revenge on his first coven. Yay. :)

Napoleon and Mary, Queen of Scots

Okay @isthenapoleoncute I don’t think this is exactly what you are looking for. But there is an artist, Jean-Baptiste Vermay, who made a painting in 1808 about the death of Mary, Queen of Scots. Title: Marie Stuart, reine d'Écosse, recevant sa sentence de mort que vient de ratifier le Parlement.

Napoleon was Vermay’s patron. He granted Vermay an award for the painting, and he and Josephine requested a replica of it.

Here is some info about the painting published in 1808: Annales du musée et de l'école moderne des beaux-arts: Salon de 1808, par Charles-Paul Landon. There are some really interesting parts. It talks about the long exile and injustice at the hands of the English queen. Also important to note that Mary was apparently Queen of France by marriage (according to this. Idk much about this part of history). So there is a French connection as well; an English ruler exiling a French ruler.

My (loose) translation:

The artful Elizabeth, Queen of England, held Mary Stuart prisoner for eighteen years. Her cruel policy demanded the sacrifice of this illustrious victim; she had Mary, her equal, judged as if she had been her subject. Forty-two members of parliament and five judges of the kingdom went to question her in her prison. She was sentenced to death: parliament confirmed the sentence and requested its execution. Elizabeth signed the fatal order, and the earls of Kent and Schrewbury, responsible for having it executed, accomplished it with a barbarity worthy of their ministry. Mary Stuart received her sentence with tranquility, and even with joy. A long captivity, violent sorrows, early infirmities made her regard death as the end of her sufferings. In her last days, she added to the exercises of courageous piety the most tender care for the people attached to her service; after having written on their behalf to Henry III and the Duke of Guise, she asked that they be witnesses to her torture. “Remember,” she said to Kent, who stubbornly refused her, “remember that I am a cousin of your queen, that I am of the royal blood of Henry III, that I was Queen of France by marriage, that I was crowned Queen of Scotland.”

Inhumanly deprived of all religious assistance, obliged to listen to the exhortations of a fanatic who threatened her with eternal damnation if she did not abjure the Roman faith, she opposed the outrages with dignity and gentleness, and preserved until the last moment a heroic firmness. She was beheaded in a room at Fotheringay Castle on February 7, 1588, at the age of 45.

This first work by a very young artist received the most favorable reception from the public. We noticed with what skill the author had arranged his scene and captured the character specific to each of the characters. The noble and calm attitude of Mary Stuart, the expression of her features, where both pride and righteous indignation are depicted, are perfectly consistent with the known sentiments of this unfortunate queen.

The hopes given by this painting, well thought out and wisely directed throughout its composition, are all the better founded as its execution announces a brush still little practiced.

His Majesty the Emperor awarded a medal to Mr. Vermay.

The painting of Mary Stuart was barely exhibited at the Salon when it ceased to belong to the author. A person of the highest rank even wanted to have a second one similar in every way to this one. It is an easel painting whose figures are approximately two feet in proportion.

Carlos walks up to him sternly, wraps a hand around Lando's cheek and pushes his thumb in Lando's mouth to calm him while Carlos texts on his phone or carries on talking to someone. he pointedly won't speak directly to Lando until Lando behaves himself but he'll stand by Lando's side with Lando's mouth turning his thumb to a raisin for as long as it takes.

Daniel pulls Lando into his lap and squeezes him almost to discomfort but it works to control Lando's rabbit heartbeat. if Lando still won't settle he'll blow raspberries into Lando's neck until he screams and gets worn out.

Jenson diverts all his attention onto Lando and strokes Lando's hair adoringly, murmuring what a sweet boy he is and pouring love and attention into Lando until he's gotten enough to feel satisfied and sleepy.

Oscar silently lifts one arm open and lets Lando bundle up against him and just writhe around. Oscar doesn't complain when Lando knocks Oscar's phone out of his hand or Lando's feet accidentally kick him or his elbow almost connects with Oscar's dick because Lando will eventually tire himself out, press a loud wet kiss to Oscar's cheek, whisper 'thank you' and fall asleep on Oscar's chest.

Hey! Fawful month! I decided to do something! Two somethings! Basically I made something for my little Fawful-anniversary? Basically this day last year I started my hyperfixation! So I decided to make something a little silly!

Moodboard for my Sons of Anarchy/Criminal Minds oc Landon, and Hotch

Landon Morrow (/Teller-Morrow) is the half brother of Jax Teller.

At the age of 25 he first meets SSA Aaron Hotchner during an interview about a rival motorcycle club who may be linked to an unsub. The two have an antagonistic relationship but still maintain mutual respect.

At 26 years old they cross paths again when Landon rats out a member of an MC who SOA supply guns for. He does it out of fear of a personal secret being outed, but ends up further terrified by the knowledge he'll be killed if the club finds out it was him that ratted.

At 27 it becomes clear that they plan to kill him, so he goes to Aaron, the only person he feels he can trust. It takes months, but eventually Aaron is able to get him into witness protection and safe away from California. His identity is changed, tattoos covered and SOA emblem removed.

Years pass in hiding, until news gets out that Jax is dead, the club now taken over by Chibs. It becomes clear the coast is now clear, so Landon is finally allowed to move to DC safely. He has a history with hacking, having worked with Juice in the past along with an intricate knowledge of the MC world, so he is recruited to work as Garcia's intern now that she is travelling with the team more frequently.

At 30, he finally starts to feel okay again. After having lost his entire family when he faked his death, he thought he'd never have a home again...but that's exactly what the team is- what Aaron is. Family.
