you can love a character & still admit when they’re wrong. i love morticia and jessica but i acknowledge their flaws (none they’re perfect) & can hold them accountable for their wrongdoings (they’ve never done anything wrong in their lives) & call them out on their actions (which are always right)

i have a similar story to that actually. my parents had a friend who’s boyfriend at the time looked so similar to him that i thought they were brothers (and dating, since my parents used it as a teaching moment to inform me about gay people). i remember asking my mom “so are (friend) and (his bf) brothers?” and my mom went “no, they’re dating.”

and i said “yeah, i know that, but are they brothers tho??”
